Author's Note:

Soo, you guys gonna fire me? Cause I just can't update on time, it seems. My sincerest apologies! Anyway, I'm glad you guys liked the last chapter! Glad you liked the little surprise! Not much Paul in this one, but Jade finally gets to meet the Cullens! Yay! This one is a bit shorter than usual, but I really wanted to end it there, it just didn't seem right ending anywhere else! Thanks for the favorites, follows, and reviews. Love it all! Proof you guys actually do enjoy my story ;)

Warning: This story contains Bella bashing. Jade will voice her opinion of her at any time of the day, and it's usually not a great opinion.

Disclaimer: I don't own Twilight or any character from it. It all belongs to Stephenie Meyer. I do own Jade, Gracie, and Brent.

Enjoy :)

'I so don't want to be here.' I mutter, walking up with Brent and Leah. They were, of course, in their wolf forms, but it didn't make me feel any better. Brent turns and nuzzles me and I pet his ear with a sigh. 'I still hate you.' I mutter and he whines.

'Stop acting cute.' I say and look over at the family. Edward was the only one I knew. He turns and smiles and Leah bares her teeth slightly, eyeing them. 'We'll keep her out of harm's way.' Edward says then smiles to me again. 'Hello again, Jade. It's been a while.' he says.

'Could have been longer.' I say, looking down. The family behind him chuckles and one steps forward. 'Welcome, Jade. We wanted you here so you were protected. You've been seen with both us and the pack. We were also informed you had a run-in with her in the woods.' he says and I look him up and down and glance at Brent. He dips his head and I look to the man.

'You must be the doctor.' I say and he smiles. 'I'm Carlisle. I've heard...a lot about you.' he grins over at Bella and she blushes. 'Yeah...only seventy eight percent of that is true.' I say. 'Jake disagrees.' Edward speaks up. 'Jake can go fuck himself. I'm still mad at him.' I say, not turning around.

Edward grins and dips his head. 'He still says eighty six percent.' he says. Shut up, Jake. You're an idiot and I hate you right now. I think annoyed. He wasn't supposed to even think about me near Paul.

Edward steps forward and Brent growls, hackles raising. Edward puts both hands up and I watch him then pat Brent's arm. 'He can't hurt me with you all here.' I say.

'We wouldn't hurt you anyway.' a woman says and I instantly got the motherly vibe from her. She had to be the Emily of the vampires. 'I'd say that's accurate.' Edward says. 'Oh, god. How the fuck do you put up with that?' I ask Bella. She shrugs, 'he can't read my mind.' she says.

'Jake, you picked the weirdest human there is.' I say, looking over at the russet colored wolf. He steps forward and sniffs slightly. I roll my eyes and look over at her again. 'Well, I figure since you're the one everyone's protecting, I should hide behind you. I'm gonna...yeah.' I slowly step away from Brent and relax when he doesn't make a move to stop me.

I slowly stand next to Bella and inwardly wince. It never boded well when I agreed to do stuff with her, how would this turn out any different. 'I'll make sure there are no miss-communications this time.' Edward says. 'How did what we discussed last time become a miss-communication? She blatantly told me what she felt. We were communicating.' I say coldly.

'It was...handled wrong.' he says and my eyes widen. 'No, see. Miss-communication.' he says. 'Thought you were here to stop that from happening.' I state dryly, eyes narrowed. He winces and lets out a breath. 'Carlisle.' he says. 'You started it.' the man chuckles, watching me amused.

'I like her.' a burly one says. A few of the wolves step forward, growling. I glance over at them and grin. Embry and Quil. 'Stand down, boys. It's one sided, I promise.' I say. They share looks then look to me again. I nod and chance a glance at Paul. He stood next to Sam looking strong and stoic. I wanted to run my hands through his fur, to hold him to me again. God, I missed that man.

I look down then over to the rest. 'Can I know your names? I keep calling you dead heads, but the name is wearing on my mind.' I say. 'Leah asked you to not name us.' Edward says before anyone can speak. 'But I wanna.' I pout over at her and hear a soft whine. I refused to look and see who, knowing my hopes would be dashed yet again.

Leah huffs and looks to Brent who nods. 'I'm Esme.' the dead head version of Emily says. 'I'm Emmett. The strongest.' the burly one grins and I nod slowly. 'You're a hot-head.' I notice. The Paul of the dead heads.

'Accurate, once again.' Edward says. 'Stop it.' I glare and he grins. 'You're slightly amused. I can tell.' he says. 'How the fuck can you tell that? Amusement isn't a thought. It's a feeling.' I say. 'Well, I control emotions.' one steps forward and I back up and put my fingers up in the form of a cross.

He grins a half grin and looks to Edward. 'I can feel everything you feel, and I changed his feelings. It's best so he can figure out if you'll do anything...erratic. Blood is hard to resist.' he says and I whimper and back up further.

'Jasper, you worded that wrong.' a blonde says, eyeing me closely. 'We're making a terrible first impression and I like her!' another girl gasps, dancing forward. 'Mmm.' this was it. I was gonna be some dead head's dinner. She said it herself, she liked me. That ice cream last night probably made my blood smell delicious.

'We aren't going to eat you. We're vegetarians.' Edward says and I frown. 'Vegetables don't have blood.' I frown. 'We eat animals.' he says. 'Like Bambi.' I say and he winces. 'You have a very morbid mind.' he says. 'Recent development. Depression does that to a person. Not that you'd know...you aren't people.' I mutter and Bella gasps.

'Be a little nice.' she says. 'No.' I say simply. I look over as a small wolf steps closer and smile. Gracie to the rescue. I hold my hand out to her and she pads up and nuzzles it. I rest against her thankfully and sigh. 'So, Edward, Carlisle, Esme, Emmett, and Jasper. Are you two Lestat and Louise?' I ask.

'Which is which?' the girl who danced asks. 'You're brunette and she's blonde. You're Louise and she's Lestat. I always thought Louise was hot, though, so I'd be proud.' I shrug. Gracie huffs and I shrug. 'What? Brad Pitt made a hot vampire. Obviously they were...different.' I offer and Edward chuckles. 'She is very amusing.' he says at Bella's look.

I roll my eyes up then look to the two women again. 'I'm Alice. I hope we can be friends, even if you are a wolf girl.' she says. 'Don't...hold your breath. Or, do? Or...don't...I...' I wince and look down at Gracie. I couldn't make smart alack remarks like that because they weren't alive. I was drowning here.

Gracie snorts and I glare and lean over, biting her ear. She yelps surprised and backs up, then tilts her head. 'I dunno, I felt like it.' I shrug and she growls but steps forward again. 'I'm Rosalie.' the blonde says.

Yeah, that was definitely the correct assumption. She's gotta be the dramatic and brooding one. I think I like Alice best because she's like Gracie. But then Emmett should be my favorite because he's like Paul. Carlisle is like Sam. Who's Jasper like? He's a different kind of weird. Embry and Quil combined. Rosalie didn't fit into the pack. Maybe the Leah before Brent. Or...me now. And Edward was, sadly, kinda like Jake. Damn.

I frown and look over at Edward. He shrugs and nods once and Bella looks over at me then to him. I see her eyes flicker with something I saw in Jake's eyes plenty of times. She was jealous. Fuck yes, she was jealous of me!

I didn't know why, but it was some torture I could put her through without even meaning to. 'That's somewhat harsh.' Edward says and I glare. 'Shove it. I'm going back over here.' I say and Gracie leads me to a spot on the wolf side. I notice Rosalie send an annoyed look towards Bella and my feelings instantly change.

Rosalie's my favorite. She doesn't think Bella's the shit like everyone else seems to.

I drop down and Gracie sits next to me, watching the vampires fight. They were fast, like super fast. And what I got from it was that Esme and Carlisle were mated. Rosalie and Emmett were mated. And Jasper and Alice were mated. They were pretty cool at fighting.

At some point, Jake had snuck around and was lying next to Bella. Good. That was better than him still thinking he was in love with me. A wolf sits next to me and I look up at the tan fur. Seth. 'Hi puppy.' I sigh and he lies down and rests his head on his paws, ears lying back.

'What's wrong?' I ask, frowning. He looks over and I look over at Bella and Jake. 'I know...but he loves her enough to not give up until there is absolutely no chance. I support him in that.' I say and he whines. I pet his ear and watch the two.

Edward was suddenly there and I yelp and dive closer to Seth. 'Don't eat me! I was being nice!' I wail and he grimaces. 'I didn't mean to startle you. Seth asked me to come over.' he says. 'Walk normally, then.' I whisper. 'Sorry.' he says and I sigh.

I shiver slightly and feel my heart start to slow down again. 'Seth asked if he thought Jake would find his true love soon.' Edward says, sitting. 'Yeah.' I say. 'And it's not you?' he asks. I roll my eyes and sigh. 'Jake's an idiot. No, I don't love him like that and if he keeps thinking like that I have a few eager friends and a brother ready to kick his ass.' I mutter. 'Again.' Edward says and I scoot further away.

'I don't know what you're talking about.' I say innocently. 'So you wouldn't have fallen in love with Jake if it weren't for the imprinting.' Edward says. 'No.' I say simply.

Gracie walks over and watches Edward. 'I won't hurt her. I want to protect her also.' Edward says. 'Why?' I frown. 'I want to protect any human in danger.' he says. 'Has nothing to do with those big ass wolves over there?' I ask. 'As annoying and cruel as you can be, I find myself enjoying your humor and mere presence. I hope, sometime in the future we can be...friends.' he says.

'Hey, everyone can have dreams. Yours is just way out there in la-la land.' I shrug and wipe some mud off of my shoes. 'What's keeping you from agreeing?' he asks. 'You know what is.' I say. 'Say it out loud.' he says and I watch him.

'This is not in order of importance. You suck blood to stay alive. Ewe. You call yourselves vegetarians which makes you the hippies of vampires. Lame. You're dating a lump of flesh I find offensive in twenty eight different ways and seven different languages. Not good statistics. Plus, you're technically the enemy of my favorite and most important things in this entire world.' I say and he nods.

'If we got to you first?' he asks. 'I would have ran the other way, screaming. Bloody murder.' I say and he shrugs. The break was over. Jasper stands and crooks his finger towards Gracie. Seth stands up fast and I yelp as I hit the ground. I'd been using Seth as a chair.

Edward holds his hand out and I slowly take it and let him pull me up. 'You're so cold.' I complain, running my hands through Seth's hair. 'He won't hurt her.' I add and Seth whines. 'Brent.' I say and he steps up next to Seth. 'Get ready.' I say and his ears move back and he crouches, ready to step in.

'Jasper is good at what he does. He won't hurt her.' Edward says. 'You can go away now.' I say. He chuckles and was gone. I watch Jasper and Gracie fight and realize she was pretty skilled.

'Good, very good.' Jasper says and Gracie moves over to me and nudges me. I pet her nose and wrap my arms around her neck as best I can. She tilts her head slightly and I grin. 'I won't bite you again.' I assure her and watch the vamps fight. I was getting tired.

'I think that's enough for the day.' Carlisle says and Gracie and Seth stand and head back into the woods. I watch them go and Jake runs over to follow. Sam and Paul were left, standing on the ledge leading down to the clearing.

Paul turns and runs off and I sigh, making my way up. 'Sam.' I say and he holds his snout out further. I wrap my arms around his nose, letting him help me up somehow. I miraculously stumbled through the trees following them back to Brent's car with no more than a few scratches from my clumsiness.

'Ready to go home, kid?' Brent asks and I nod. 'Let's blow this popsicle joint.' I sigh and he drops in the driver's side with some difficulties. He was so big. 'You didn't do what I suggested.' he says. 'Didn't feel like the right time.' I say.

'I had a discussion with the cold one just so you could do this.' he frowns and I wince. 'I didn't know that. I'm sorry.' I whisper. He looks over at me and sighs, patting my head. 'It's fine. At least they liked you. Maybe you can...talk to them about problems you can't talk to us about. The leader seems pretty knowledgeable.' he says.

'Wouldn't that piss Sam off?' I ask. 'I don't know. He really wants to help. This might be your best chance at figuring out what's going on.' he says. I sigh and look out the window. 'Do you think Jake made things worse?' I ask.

'Yeah...but he's trying to fix his mistake. I know he told you he doesn't think the worst but...we can't rule it out yet.' he says and I nod and look down. 'Right. Don't get my hopes up.' I sigh. 'Stop thinking about it.' Brent says after a minute's hesitation. 'How am I supposed to stop?' I huff, looking over at him.

'Just...distract yourself. Like tonight. You did great. It was like nothing was wrong.' he says. 'I had a lot of help being distracted. And it's not like Jake and the dead head are gonna just let me bash on Bella anytime I feel down about my relationship with Paul!' I snap and sigh. 'Or...lack there of.' I mutter and look back out the window.

'I wish he would just talk to me so I could know what was happening.' I sigh. 'If the imprint did reverse, maybe he feels bad and doesn't know how to let you down.' Brent says and I send him a look. 'You aren't helping.' I say sharply.

He lets out a breath and pulls into the house. We climb out and I yawn. 'Again tomorrow?' I ask and he nods. 'Great. Can I go early so I can talk to them alone?' I ask. 'I want a wolf there with you.' he says. 'No.' I say. 'Jake.' he says.

Jake was so good at hiding his thoughts after all the shit he got for whining about Bella. 'I'll text him.' I mutter and he nods. 'Text Bella, too.' he says. 'No, can't Jake do that part?' I pout and he smiles. 'Fine, but eventually you will have to deal with her.' he says.

I grumble to myself and step into the house. It smelled amazing. 'Mom! Dad!' Brent calls and we step into the kitchen. 'We made you two dinner.' mom says, looking nervous. 'What's...going on?' I ask warily. This had to be a trap.

'We've spoken with your grandparents. We think you should finish senior year down in California.' dad says, nodding. 'But...' I begin. 'If things with Paul don't work out...we need you to be somewhere where you won't be in pain every time it rains.' mom says softly.

I watch her then look to Brent for help. 'If things do work out?' he asks. 'Then we promised you for Thanksgiving and Christmas. That whole month in between, too.' she says. 'Mom!' I gasp and she shrugs. 'They miss you. After their trip got canceled because grandpa got sick, they felt really down about not being able to see you guys. Brent, if you can fly out for a week, that'd be wonderful.' mom sighs and I look down.

Maybe it was for the better. If things with Paul didn't work out, and at this point that seemed a definite possibility, then being in California might keep my mind off of my heartbreak. 'Okay.' I agree and nod once.

'Don't buy the tickets until they talk.' Brent says, leaning into me slightly. It was for comfort, and I couldn't help but notice it was an animal like thing to do. His wolf was joining with his humane side well, it seemed. Probably had Leah to thank for that.

'Okay, then eat up!' dad says, clapping his hands. 'If I do move...' I mutter and wince as my voice cracks. I couldn't show them how upset I was about this. I had to be strong somehow. 'Can I take the dog with me?' I ask. 'Of course.' mom says and I nod and push at my food. 'Good.' I murmur and stare down at my plate.

I'd have to talk to Paul sooner or later. I just hoped the longer I put it off, the better chances of him imprinting on me again. 'You okay, sweetie?' mom asks. I look up at her and shrug with a nod. 'I, uh...I may look into college.' I say. 'Really?' she frowns and I put my fork down. 'Really?' I ask back.

Nothing like having your mom doubt your choice. Apparently I wasn't smart enough for college. 'You hate school. You didn't want to go before.' she says. 'If things with Paul and I don't work out, I'll need a lot of distractions, mom. I'll need to keep busy. I won't ever find a guy like him again. I won't ever fall in love with someone like I fell in love with him again.' I say softly and stare down at my plate.

'Thanks for cooking. I'll...I'll have some leftovers tomorrow, I think. I'm not hungry.' I stand up and walk upstairs. I drop on my bed and close my eyes. I pull my phone out and find Paul's and my texts.

The last ones were cute. We had an insult war going on. We had sent each other almost two hundred texts in an hour, half of them insults. Most were made up, but it was still funny. I smile as I read through it. I close my eyes and whimper softly. 'I miss you.' I whisper and lock my phone, turning over and falling asleep.

'I think Sam has been misinformed.' Carlisle says as I sit up on the hood of his jeep, legs crossed Indian style. 'He seemed pretty sure.' I frown and he sighs. 'There are cases of the one being imprinted on turning the imprinter away. The imprinter in turn finds a way to live without the love of the person they care most about. They always seem to find ways to secretly make their imprint happy. Sneaky ways. I have never heard of an imprint being reversed, though.' he says.

'Anything's possible, Carlisle. Look at you and them. Supposed fantasy characters and yet here you are. There's always gotta be a first case for something that happens.' I say and he smiles. 'You're very smart.' he pats my hand and I look down, pouting.

'Have you attempted talking to him?' he asks. 'No, she's too scared.' Jake grins, leaning against the car next to me. 'Go away, Jake.' I whine and he shrugs. 'They're almost here. Better wrap this up, quick.' he says. I look past Carlisle and watch Edward and Jasper spar. They were so fast, it was kind of beautiful to watch.

'You guys are growing on me.' I mutter, looking up at Carlisle, disappointed and ashamed. 'We try not to be bad people, Jade.' he says. 'Yeah, but you're my favorite people on this Earth's enemies. I'm not supposed to like you!' I say. 'There is a reason there's a treaty. We can get along, I promise.' he says and I sigh and look down at Jake.

'You look like an upside down pineapple trying to be a donkey.' I say and he smirks. 'What does that even mean?' he asks. 'Means yo ugly!' I say in my best gangsta voice. 'Your mama so ugly herpes be wanting to marry her.' he says and I roll my eyes. 'You're so bad at this game.' I say, but I can't help but laugh a bit.

'Whatever, sorry we can't all be assholes like you and Paul.' he says. I frown slightly and he winces. 'I'm sorry.' he says and Carlisle turns. 'They're here. Perhaps you should change, Jake.' he says. 'Wanna help?' Jake smirks and I glare and turn.

'Someone slap this bitch, please! He's being pervy!' I call. 'Maybe not the best idea.' Edward says, walking over. 'What do you know?' Jake growls. 'More than you.' Edward glares and I look between them with my eyes.

'Sam?' I call and hear his bark. I look over then down to the boys again. 'Daddy Cullen?' I ask. 'Edward, back off. Let him go to his pack.' Carlisle says and Edward turns around and walks over to Bella, leaning down and kissing her. 'Asshole.' I whisper and Jake grins. 'Yeah.' he agrees and jogs into the trees.

'So...' I spin and look down at Carlisle. 'Yes?' he smiles. 'Do I owe you any money for this?' I ask. 'Some blood would suffice.' he says and I hear the snarls from the wolves. 'Down boys! He's kidding!' I say and lean in. 'You are kidding, right?' I whisper. 'Yes, that was a joke. Not a very good one.' Carlisle says and pats the hood.

'If you need anymore help, just come on over. I'll do what I can to make this better for you.' he says. 'Thank you.' I say and slide off the car. I walk over to the wolves and nod to Sam who dips his head. 'Brent! I'm hungry!' I call.

'Finally.' I hear Edward say and I glare over at him. 'I was...just saying what he was thinking.' he says. I sniff and turn back to Brent with a pouty look. I had a lot to think about...and more to ask, honestly. 'Can I stay behind to talk some more?' I ask and he shakes his head. 'Please? Sam?' I look over at him and he dips his head.

'He doesn't trust us, still.' Edward says. 'Fuck you, dude. I'm trying to have a personal conversation here.' I say. 'I like her.' I hear Emmett say to his girl. 'I know.' she mutters, but sends me a small smirk. To my extreme, and I mean faint worthy surprise, Paul had stepped forward, growling.

I look at him, feeling my heart beat a bit faster. Jake hops out from the woods and settles next to Bella comfortably. She pets his nose and I wrinkle mine. 'Gag.' I say. 'I agree.' Edward says and I glare. 'I'll sick my dogs on you.' I say. 'Think quieter.' he says and my eyes widen in anger.

'Okay, okay. Stop.' Esme steps up and pats his arm. He shrugs and stands next to Bella and Jake. I roll my eyes and glance over at Paul again who was sitting down, ready to watch again. 'Bella and Jade will be up the mountain.' Jasper points and I chuckle.

'No, I'll be home in my bed. She's after her blood, I'm not going anywhere near her.' I say. 'She's seen you with Edward.' Carlisle says. 'But she wants Bella.' I say and Edward frowns. 'She's right. She's after Bella because Bella is mine. She wants me to feel what she felt when she lost James. Jade won't have anything to do with it unless we bring her into it.' he says.

'Finally, the boy speaks some sense.' I say and sit down, pulling some grass up. 'We'll have a wolf posted by your house.' Carlisle says and I shake my head. 'You'll need all the jaws you can get. I'll...go to California for that weekend.' I say.

'Can you get a flight so soon?' Edward asks. 'We'll pay for it.' Carlisle says, turning to him. 'Wait, no! I can pay for it.' I say and he shakes his head. 'We need to keep you safe.' he says. I shift and look down.

Something could happen to any one of my wolves. Gracie. Embry, Quil. Jake. I take in a sharp breath. Paul.

'We won't let anything happen to any of them.' Edward says and I close my eyes. 'Please, shut up. I'm not okay with this game.' I sigh. He nods and I pull at the grass again. I watch as they start battling again.

I could already see an improvement. The wolves hadn't killed many vampires. This was good for their experience. They'd become stronger from this. And none of them would die. I wouldn't lose any of them. And before that weekend came...I would tell Paul how I felt. I would put it all out there. I would make sure he knew how much I loved him.

When the night was over, I knew what I needed to ask Carlisle. 'I'll drive her home myself.' Carlisle says to Sam. Sam looks over at me and I nod. I trusted them. If I couldn't trust them with something as simple as this, then how could I trust them to protect my pack?

'She'll be home safe, I promise.' Carlisle adds. 'Please, I need more time.' I say and Sam nods and turns, nudging Brent and Jake. 'Sam's asking you to call him when you're home and to text Jake, too.' Edward says. 'Yeah, of course.' I nod and they were gone.

I turn to Carlisle and Emmett walks over, handing me a jacket. 'Here.' he says and I slowly pull it on. I smile a thanks and look down. 'How do I do this?' I ask Carlisle. 'You just talk.' he says gently. 'But, see...I'm really good at talking until it's something important.' I say and shift. 'I'll screw it up.' I add.

'How?' he asks. 'Talk too much? Ramble?' I ask. 'I suggest doing so. Getting anything and everything out. No secrets, no lies. All truth, all you.' he says. 'Damn, that's deep son.' I whisper, nodding my head. 'I'm a wise old man.' he says. 'How old?' I ask. 'One hundred and fifty...give or take a few years.' he says. 'Yes...wise old man.' I agree and he smiles.

'When?' I ask. 'Not right before the fight. If things go bad then you don't want him distracted...and if things go very well you don't want him distracted.' he says. 'So?' I ask. 'I suggest tomorrow. There's a bonfire in two nights, correct? If things go back to normal, then the bonfire will be a good time to get affectionate time in.' he says.

'And if things go bad?' I ask. 'I don't think they will.' he says softly. I sigh and nod, looking down. 'What does a wolf like as a present?' I ask. 'Your body.' Emmett says and Rosalie slaps his chest. 'What?' Emmett laughs. 'Food.' Esme says. 'Oh, right.' I sigh. 'Come over tomorrow. We'll help you prepare a feast.' she adds and I shift nervously.

'Bring Jake...if you want.' she adds. 'No, I'm trying to distance myself from him a bit.' I say. Edward nods and pulls Bella into him closer. 'I should get home. Thank you...for everything. I'll...call when I'm on my way.' I say and Esme smiles happily. I smile back slightly and Carlisle lifts me into his arms. 'Yipe!' I yelp and he smiles apologetically. 'The Mercedes is on the road.' he says. 'Oh, right.' I say and soon we were moving extremely fast through the woods.

I close my eyes and sway on my feet when he puts me back down. 'Are you all right?' he asks and I hold a finger up. 'Give me a moment.' I say and put a hand to my stomach. 'Okay, good to go.' I say and we get into the car. I sniff around and feel him send me a strange look. 'Paul had always complained about the smell.' I say, blushing.

'They don't...smell great to us either.' he says. 'Doomed from the start, huh?' I ask. 'Afraid so. Which I dislike. I enjoy your pack and wish we could all get along.' he says. 'This pack is young...and they all have pretty bad tempers. Get in a lot of fights.' I say. 'They are very young. I regret turning them into the animals so young.' he sighs.

'They mostly like it. Some were...born for it, obviously. Like Quil. He loves it. And Paul...he enjoys being able to fight.' I say and he looks over and smiles. 'I'll look more into imprinting tonight.' he says. 'Oh, don't stay up all night for it or anything.' I say. 'I would anyway. We don't sleep.' he says. 'That's probably annoying yet kinda cool. Ugh, I'm not supposed to like you guys!' I groan and he chuckles.

'Our little secret, then.' he says. 'Okay.' I agree and he pulls into my house. 'We'll see you tomorrow.' he says and I nod. 'Bye, thanks!' I wave and step into the house. 'Shower's running!' Brent yells and I actually chuckle and hop up the steps. Maybe if things with Paul and I didn't work out, I could spend more time with the Cullens. They were definitely good distractions.

Rosalie's the favorite! Jade enjoys her presence because Rosalie doesn't like Bella. I don't blame her! Actually, Carlisle might be her favorite. Daddy Cullen. Anyway, again with the apologies on the late update. Life's been kinda hell this past month, personal and work life and all that adult fun stuff that isn't fun. I'm going to really, really work on updating within the week this time, promise guys! Thanks for all the alerts and the reviews! It will be slightly one sided Jake/Jade from now on, but not too much that it's annoying, promise! Follow! Favorite! Review! Read! Read again? Enjoy in any way you can! I'll work on my updating skills, and should have this out by...well, I'm gonna say Sunday but don't quote me.
