Opal's POV

I get back to the tree to see Mikey around a fire. I put down the rabbit I got for us to eat and he just looks at me.

"We need to go back." Mikey says. I stare at him confused.

"Go back to what?" I ask. He can't be talking about my old tent and he doesn't know where I used to live. So where would we go back to.

"The farmhouse. It has food and maybe a few old lamps we can use. We need that right now. The fire isn't going to last forever and we need something other than meat. Trust me on this." I don't know what to say, but he is right. We may have a stable shelter but we don't have anything to stay warm with. We need fruits that didn't come from a questionable bush.

"Okay, we will go back to get supplies. Then we come straight back to the tree." I say, hoping he agrees with me.

"We will go back tonight. I want it to be done as soon as possible."

"I will cook dinner and then we head out." He nods in approval. Tonight is going to be a long night.

April's POV

I stay in the kitchen for hours, hoping Mikey will show up. It goes past 3 A.M. and I am starting to lose hope. I don't want to give up on seeing Mikey again. Maybe his brothers have and that worries me. Even Casey, one of the most determined people I know, seems to have given up.

I try to remain focused on keeping awake. I talk to Ice Cream Kitty saying Mikey will be back soon. I wish I could believe what I said. Mikey can't be far away since Leo, Raph, and Donnie saw him earlier, but it starting to get cold and he can't survive long.

I start to fall asleep when I hear a noise. Something running in the bushes around the house. I go to check, even if it isn't Mikey I don't want anyone around the house right now.

I go outside and see two figures sneaking into the barn. I can't see very far, but one is larger than the other. I hope that is Mikey, although I don't know who the other figure is.

I don't want to confront them directly just yet so I go upstairs to wake the guys. Just wait until they hear Mikey is back.
