Welp... This is the final chapter! Thank you so much for reading this far! It's a fairly short but I hope you enjoy!

Tsuna woke up from his deep slumber. He was surprised to see the familiar pitch black darkness again. He groaned as he got up. His body ached from prolonged lack of use. A headache came over him as he clutched his head in pain.

What happened to me? He asked himself. Tsuna groaned.

"Decimo."

He turned around to see Giotto standing there, glowing faintly. Tsuna was about to reply back in relief in seeing a familiar face but stopped himself upon recognizing a disturbed frown on his ancestor's face.

"Primo… What's happening? Where am I?"

Giotto stepped forward and grabbed both of the younger's hands on his own. The faint orange glow on Giotto's body slowly trickled to Tsuna's. First through his hands, and arms before spreading out.

"Come with me."

Giotto ran in a seemingly random direction with one of Tsuna's hands still clasped in his own. After what seemed like a long time of running, the Italian finally stopped. The brunette looked at him, still confused.

From afar, he could hear someone - familiar-yet-not - calling out his name.

"Tsuna?"

Tsuna opened his mouth to speak but Giotto shushed him. The voice started to sound agitated and worried.

"... Tsuna?! Where are you! Tsuna? Tsuna?... TSUNA?!"

Tsuna furrowed his brows, hearing the pain in the voice. His own heart clenched and he had the urge to reach out to the voice. To comfort him. To tell him that everything will be okay.

Despite the incoming headache, Tsuna started to step towards the voice. Unknowingly, he whispered, "Ie-nii…"

"Decimo." A hand on his shoulder pulled him back to his senses.

"Ah, Primo. What is going on?" Tsuna tried his best to block out the sad and desperate voice from afar.

"We are in your mindscape. I haven't much time to explain everything but trust me. You are in danger -"

"Wha-"

His hand went up, "Wait. There are Flames of Night in your system and it is slowly killing you. I want to say it is because of that voice you hear but it is entirely my fault and I will take responsibility.

"Our only way of countering him is through you. You alone have to overcome your own Flames of Night."

Tsuna's eyes widened before shutting his eyes tight and waving his hands in front of him, "Wait, wait, wait. Flames of Night in my body? It's killing me? You're telling me now to fight it when I don't even know what's happening? How am I going to do that?"

Giotto nodded ruefully, "Byakuran is with us in the outside world. He's transferring some of his Sky Flames onto the Vongola Ring. We don't know how per se -"

"You don't?"

"- Please, Decimo… According to Byakuran, there is a nearby parallel world that is most similar to this one. We will send you there and it is up to you in finding out how to overcome Flames of Night at least to transform them into Twilight Flames. A big factor in doing that is that you must regain your lost memories."

"My lost memories?"

"Seven years ago, you witnessed a great tragedy. You locked away that pain in this very spot." Giotto looked around in the darkness as if seeing something Tsuna couldn't.

"This is the only place that was in darkness before but now, it's eating away your very spirit." He whispered.

"TSUNA!" The voice cried once more but this time in great anger.

"He's close."

"Wait, who's close? Primo, are my friends okay? What if I mess up?! Ahhh, you're not really giving me time to process all of this!" Tsuna ruffled his hair in frustration.

"They are fine. Do not worry, if it's you Tsunayoshi, you will succeed." Giotto smiled softly. Tsuna paused and looked at Giotto with beady eyes. He then shadowed his eyes underneath his bangs.

"I'm not so sure about that. I am still Dame-Tsuna…"

Giotto frowned before shaking his head, "Come now. I must send you away. You will take over the Sawada Tsunayoshi of that world and it may take you months to a year in the parallel world before you find a way but to us it will only feel like mere minutes. Please Decimo, do return at once when you do. Do not delay."

"But how does that even work?!" Tsuna cried out, still feeling doubt and panic in himself.

"Souls of the same essence are connected across worlds, Decimo. Hurry! Lest the flames of night consume us." Giotto placed a hand on Tsuna's forehead coated in Sky Flames. The chocolate brown eyes closed at once. His body enveloped in the beautiful orange flames.

"Safe trip Tsunayoshi. I'll see you in a few minutes."

"TSUNA! WHERE ARE YOU?!"

Just as the flames disappeared along with Tsuna, Giotto turned around to see a panting Ieyoshi, red in the face.

"Primo…"

"Ieyoshi." Ieyoshi twitched at hearing his name for the first time in years before shouting in reply.

"WHERE THE HELL IS TSUNA?"

Giotto took up a fighting stance, similar to Ieyoshi's. His eyes gazed sadly at the light brown haired teen with slightly narrower golden brown eyes wet with tears. With Tsuna gone, Ieyoshi's form had returned to its original state. His face and whole body was marred with black spots.

He doesn't have much time left either.

He could sense the pain coursing through his other descendant. The loneliness. The anger. The frustration.

A tear escaped Giotto's eye.

More than Tsunayoshi. Maybe you need saving the most.

This is honestly more a transition chapter than anything hehehe.

I know I might have zoomed through this story. Then again I did start this many years ago and continued where I left off just recently. When I first thought and published this story, I only had the 'Ieyoshi is Tsuna's dead twin living in Tsuna' idea with not much development or planning. Originally, it was supposed to be a 'Dark'Tsuna fic as well but I really can't bring myself to write a whole fic of horrible stuff happening. Especially with our beloved Tuna-Fish. So instead, we have kind of a boring exposition type fic with lots of discussions.

I've left out quite a number of questions unanswered which will be addressed mostly in the sequel: White Knight. I've written about 3 chapters already. (All three being more than the usual 1500-2000 words that I usually write per chapter)

I hope to hear your thoughts on the story overall. Was it confusing? Was it too fast? Do you think I could have done something more? Is there anything I have to fix or potentially add on? I really want to improve on my writing and any constructive criticism is appreaciated!

Thank you again for going on this Re:Slumber Knight journey with me and I hope to see you along for White Knight as well! :) :) :)

WHITE KNIGHT PREVIEW

Timoteo only regarded his gaze and smiled, "I understand Tsunayoshi. It'll be awhile before you'd be back to normal and moving. 'Cause you see, you've been in a coma for seven years."

'...'

'...'

'... I'm sorry what?'

Ieyoshi felt his breath hitch in his throat as he recognized who the person was. He felt his whole body tremble from feelings he couldn't even begin to describe. Yamamoto had followed suit and Ieyoshi felt the baseball teen freeze. Gokudera on the other hand looked back and forth between them and the person who had just stepped out of the car in confusion.

"Tsu-kun…?" Ieyoshi whispered.

Said person looked at him, just realizing that he was standing there. After a momentary pause, Ieyoshi saw his eyes and his smile for the first time in seven years.
