It is with a heavy heart that I am ending Behind the Badge. It just isn't in me to write this one any more. If you have followed what has gone on recently you may understand why this one just doesn't fit me any more. Rather than let it sit in limbo, I wanted to say a brief (yes too brief) goodbye.

As the superstars and WWE employees filed out of the room, MiraBeth found herself face to face with her boyfriend. He took her hand and squeezed it gently. "You handled that perfectly." He winked as he walked out of the door.

Seth nodded at MiraBeth and said, "I'm going to hang with Rome for a while. I'll see you when you're done here."

Randy Orton also took her hand for a gentle squeeze. "You smoothed a lot of nerves today. Great job. The superstars are behind you. If we feel safe, that is more than half of the battle." Then he followed Roman out of the room.

Finally Vince spoke. "Quite the little cheering section you have there, MiraBeth." She turned to look at him. "Respect and trust take time. We are working on building both. They are adults and I will treat them as such but not take any chances with their safety."

"And you will maintain an A+ crew while doing it. I like it." Vince headed for the door. "Letting Roman bring you in was the best decision I've made in a long time."

The muses will speak and give another story. Something cheery, happy, something to smile about!
