Not Here Tomorrow; Sequel

Hi! *waves excitedly* I was hoping to find one of these already written, but it looks like I am going to have to right it instead… L

So, I recently read this story called Not Here Tomorrowby MudSkipping. Go check it out before reading this!

DISCLAIMER: I don't own Danny Phantom, nor do I own Not Here Tomorrow.

When it had happened, Danny was absolutely horrified, yet…. He wasn't. He understood that he did the right thing; he knew that he was going to die. But then he had heard Vlad. And he had tried to get Danny to believe that he was going to be okay. Danny knew that he wasn't, though.

Then there was the explosion, half way through when he was calling Vlad a fruitloop.

Time stopped.

Clockwork couldn't help it. He knew what was to happen to the boy, but he just had to talk to him before he… fully deceased. Ol' Clocky wasn't going to prevent it, though, because that would have too big of an effect on the time stream.

A Time Medallion was slipped over the boy's head, and his eyes shot open, only because of the sudden switch from moving to being utterly still. Danny carefully looked around, and at seeing Clockwork, grinned. But when noticing his grim look, Danny's smile dropped and he realized that he wasn't here to stop it from happening. But he was still curious.

"…Clockwork?" came the trembling reply of the boy who's death was seconds away. "Wh-what…" he steadied his voice, "…What are you doing here?" A gentle smile graced the middle-aged Clockwork's face, and Danny slowly returned it, waiting for an answer. Clockwork sighed, "I had to talk with you," Danny gave him an odd look, waiting for him to continue.

"Do not be fooled, Daniel, sadly, I cannot prevent…. this," the old ghost started, and Danny nodded sadly. "After your… death," Danny flinched slightly, knowing that Clockwork had just fully confirmed his thoughts, "you will not remember anything." This perked Danny's interest. Was Clockwork saying that he was going to become a full ghost? "So I tell you this. I have always thought myself as a guardian for you, and it pains me to let this happen. But it is not preventable." He hovered a bit closer to Danny, then gestured for him to stand. Danny did so, and noticed that it was painless. That was a definantly a perk. "You are a very powerful halfa, know that. So ghosts ten to respect you."

Danny frowned at him. "Respect? Is fighting respectful in the Ghost Zone or something?" he jokingly asked. Clockwork smiled amusedly, "No, but those who have picked fights with you want to show their power, or they are just to childish to realize your power." Danny cocked his head to the side, "huh. So they were kind of… Competing?" "Yes, it seems so," Clockwork chuckled lightly, trying to get Danny's mood up a bit. He didn't want the boy to be so depressed, as he knew the boy was, when he died.

Sorry I stopped it there. *shrugs* Like it so far? Please review. And sorry it's so short. I'm not done, though, do not fear!
