A/N: Sorry this took so long to get out but I was busy (that was a lie I totally forgot to write this chapter). But I hope you can forgive me and keep reading. Also I wanted to thank you for the follows and favorites and comments (it made me so happy~). Some of you asked questions and I plan on answering them below!
Takatou: No he's not strong he just momentarily went into HDWM and was able to push the boulder off Hayato. And Hayato's legs were broken but with Knuckle's Sun Flames they'll be fine and all better soon! Lambo is younger than the others and he's only one years old here. The age gap isn't the exact same but it's close. Thanks for the review~~
Koreijutsu-shi: Thank you and I just adore Hayato and Takeshi's little fights so I felt it was appropriate to add one because I didn't want the kids to be all depressed. I wanted to make the story a bit happier despite what they went through.

AnimeDAngel: They're in Tsuna's time just so it can be a bit easier for me to write this. I tried the first chapter in Giotto's time but then I was just…. No… no this won't work for me… I'd eventually forget and write something like 'and he answered his phone'. No one has a freakin phone in Primo's time!

Chapter 3: Getting Used to Things
The Vongola led the kids into a large mansion and instantly the kids were whisked away by maids and butlers to clean them up. Of course they were scared at first but after reassurance from Giotto and his friends they went with the maids.
They were led into an infirmary and the maids treated their wounds and helped them clean the dirt and blood off them before they got a bath and the maids wrapped their wounds. After that they were given new clothes and 27 smiled as he put them on.
The fabric was soft and the clothes were clean and comfy; the exact opposite of the rags he wore before. The maids were kind and gentle all the while. They smiled and apologized if they irritated a sore spot. 27 wondered silently if a mom would act like that.
When the maids deemed them good enough the kids were brought to a room where there where there were three beds and a crib for the baby. Said baby was already giggling and playing with a stuffed cow animal. Upon their arrival the baby laughed and held onto the wood.
"GYAHAHA! MY SERVANTS HAVE COME TO ME~" He screams and 27 jumped at the sheer loudness of his voice. "COME AND PLAY WITH THE GREAT L-SAMA!"
"DON'T YOU CALL 27-SAMA A LOWLY SERVANT YOU BRAT!" 59 screams and 27 jumped once more this time letting out a shrill scream of his own.
"HHHHHHHHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEE!"
"Haha, are we playing a game to see who can be the loudest?"
"DON'T BE SO STUPID YOU IDIOT!"
"I WON'T LOSE 59-CHAN~"
"I SAID TO STOP CALLING ME THAT YOU BASTARD!"
"HHHHHIIIIEEEE!"
"L-SAMA WON'T LOSE EITHER YOU PEASANTS!" Before the screaming contest could continue the door slammed open and G ran in with a handgun and Ugetsu with a sword, both looking around for any intruders. "GYAHAHA! MORE SLAVES FOR L-SAMA!"
"Haha… why were you all screaming?" Ugetsu asks as he put his sword away.
"We were playing a game! Do you wanna play too?" 80 asks with a bright smile as he rested his hands behind his head casually.
"Brats… we thought someone was attacking!" G growls as he too put his gun away.
"S-sorry! I'm so sorry! W-We didn't mean to bother you!" 27 says as he bowed with tears in the corner of his eyes. The door opened once more and Giotto came in looking very much confused.
"What's going on in here?"
"Tch, these damn brats were making noise for no reason." G huffed looking at his boss.
"Maa, maa they are kids G." Ugetsu says and the red headed man rolled his eyes.
"I see. What were you all playing?" Giotto asks and bends to the kid's height with a smile. Before anyone could reply though the blonde was grabbed by his collar and pulled up by one red haired Storm Guardian. "G?"
"Don't 'G' me. You're going to finish that paperwork today."
"Eh? B-But I want to play with the kids!" Giotto whines and 27 was shocked to see the previously charming, powerful man looking like a kicked puppy as he looked at his friend.
"Too damn bad! You've got work to do and it has to be done before we interrogate that Estraneo bastard." G says as he dragged a whining blonde behind him. Ugetsu laughed as the door closed before looking back at the kids.
"Haha, the maids are going to bring you dinner and then you can go to bed. In the morning we'll all eat breakfast together." He says and the kids nod. "Good night! If you need anyone ask anyone as they'll help you as best they can."
"O-okay… good night Asari-san." 27 says shyly. The man waved happily before he closed the door. When his footsteps were no longer in hearing range 27 turned to his friends. "Um, maybe we should be quiet so we don't bother them again."
"Haha, okay 27."
"If that's what you want."
"Hmph, why should L-san listen to you?" The baby asks and before 59 could get started on his screaming fit 27 cut in.
"Because you want to be nice to the ones who saved us from that place, right?" At these words the kid's eyes softened and he fell back so he was on his butt. "A-Also, I'm 27. This is 59 and 80. It's nice to meet you, L."
Green eyes brightened and the baby suddenly stood back up. "Will 27, 80, and 59-teme play with L-san?" Seeing the bright and pure hope in the boy's eyes 27 smiled back and nodded.
From there they all played until their food came. Before 27 could even eat his food though 59 had insisted on taste-testing it to make sure it wasn't poisoned. L swiped some of Tsuna's food and 80 just laughed as 59 yelled at the baby. After their boisterous (and oh so delicious) dinner they all began to talk. L said he was one year old and that he'd been in the Estraneo since his memories began. When they began to tire out though they all went to bed.
27 picked the orange bed in between the two others while 80 chose the blue to his left and 59 to his right. L complained saying he wanted to be a big boy too so 27 shared his bed with the child. With the overly comfy bed, the persistent warmth, and his new friends 27 felt something he'd never really felt before. Thinking of his memories of that day, meeting Giotto and his friends, meeting 59, 80, and L; 27's heart tightened but in a way that the brunette found he enjoyed.
With those happy thoughts he drifted off to sleep completely ignoring the way L seemed to love kicking him in his sleep.

The next day 27 woke up to find his bed crowded with two other bodies. He giggled as he watched 80 drool on 59's shirt as he laughed in his dreams. 59 muttered a '27-sama' every so often and L was sleep talking about food from his spot on 27's chest.
Stirred by his giggle the others woke up and smiled when they saw the brunette smiling with a happy look on his face. After a few minutes of just laying there was a knock on the door before one of the nice maids from yesterday walked in with an adoring look on her face. In her hands she held more clothes.
She dressed them and after she managed to get a hold of a cow printed baby suit (L was obsessed with the stuffed cow he'd been given and wanted to dress like it) she brought them to the dining room. It was large and the table was set with lots of expensive looking food and utensils.
At the table sat one exhausted looking Giotto, one pissed looking G, one amused Ugetsu, one talkative Knuckle, one sleeping Lampo, one creepy Daemon, and one grumpy Alaude. They sat at the table and as L made a grab for a mouthwatering platter of bacon (A/N: can bacon be on platters? That's be cool. Fancy bacon ^^) Knuckle suddenly whapped the boy's hand gently making the cow child look absolutely horrified. No one likes being deprived of bacon.
"We have to give thanks first." He says and the kids watched confusedly as the adults shut their eyes and Knuckle began thanking God for the food. Honestly 27 felt silly for not knowing what was going on while 59 was wondering why they were thanking a man named God. Was he the chef? Farmer? 80 just went along with the adults actions with a smile while L just tried not to cry at being scolded.
After Knuckle finished his thanks they began eating and L began to inhale the bacon while Giotto tried to start a conversation with the kids.
"How did you all sleep last night?" He asks and 27 looked at him nervously before he swallowed the half chewed bacon and choking on it making 59 panic and slap him on the back. When he was breathing again he blushed deeply when he saw Giotto trying to hold back a laugh.
"S-sorry…"
"No it's fine. You don't have to rush to answer, 27. Take as much time as you need." Giotto says and they were thrust into silence once more. Before L decided he wanted to go on an 'adventure.'
"GYAHAHA! L-SAMA WISHES TO GO LOOK AT HIS SUBJECTS!"
"Subjects?" G asks looking mildly irritated at the screaming during breakfast. It was honesty a miracle that Alaude hadn't attacked the baby yet.
"I think he means the townspeople." Lampo says with a yawn.
"Ah, yes, it's good to have someone here who can speak brat." Daemon smirks and Lampo opened his mouth to defend himself from being put in the same category as the cow child but Giotto clapped his hands excitedly.
"Go into the town? That's a wonderful idea!" The man exclaims. "We could-"
"No you are going to get back to that pile of paperwork you've been ignoring the past three weeks." G says and Giotto opened his mouth to protest but was cut off.
"Don't worry Giotto! G and I will stay here to help you out!"
"B-But… the kids…"
"Alaude, Daemon, I will show the kids around town to the limit! It'll be fun to the limit!" Knuckle says and he received two glares, one from the resident Mist Guardian and the other from the Cloud.
"And what makes you think I'm going to crowd with you Herbivores? I still have to interrogate that Estraneo." Alaude hisses but Knuckle only laughs.
"Ha, don't be so shy! We're all family here!" As he said this Knuckle and the adults missed the dumbstruck looks on the kids' faces as they heard the man refer to them as family. The adults continued their little squabble and didn't stop until suddenly L burst into tears and his nose began dripping with snot.
"WWWWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAA"
"O-OI! Brat! What are you crying about now?" G asks as he stood and backed away from the child almost nervously. The other adults did the same after suddenly watching the kid cry. None of them really knew how to calm a kid down.
"S…Sorry…" 27 whimpered as he too felt tears in his eyes. This shook the adults further. 59 had his face hidden but the tips of his ears were bright red.
"S-Stupid adults." He muttered.
"W-why are you all crying? Don't listen to Daemon and Alaude! Of course they'll go with you to town! They'll even let you buy some toys to play with!" Giotto says as he cautiously patted a sobbing 27's head. The brunette smiled up at the blonde with teary eyes and a blush on his face. The sight had the Vongola all blush. A kid shouldn't be so darn cute.
"T-Thank you, Giotto-san."
"No problem!" The blonde says and his eyes turned to two flustered adults who had nearly snuck out of the room by now. "Daemon, Alaude!" At the sound of their usually childish boss' serious tone they both stopped in their tracks. "After breakfast I expect you to join Knuckle and the kids to town."
"Omnivore I refuse-"
"Well I refuse your refusal." (Teehee! I quoted Luffy^^)
"Nufufufu, don't be so childish, Primo."
"Don't be so creepy, Daemon."
"Oya, oya you think you can order me around?"
"Well I am the boss for a reason." Giotto says as he rolled his eyes. "You two better go and behave or I swear I won't assign you any missions for the next three weeks."
"I'll arrest you, Omnivore." Was Alaude's last words before he exited.
Daemon sighed as his shoulders slumped slightly. "Fine, I'll go to town with them."
With the two men gone now and knowing they'd both be following his orders Giotto beamed at the kids before sitting at his place and picking up his fork. "Dessert!"

27's eyes shined as he got out of the limo provided by the Vongola. He was met with the sight of a busy market and many buildings and bright colors. Looking around he felt slightly overwhelmed but more excited. Soon he was walking with his friends and the three adults when his chocolate orbs landed on the small form of a girl around his age.
Her hard was purple and so was her left eye, the other covered by a cloth wrapped around her head. She wore ragged clothes and a fearful look on her face. In her hands she held apples and other foods. The girl was running as fast as she could and constantly looking over her shoulder. Soon 27 found why. A man that was screaming obscurities was chasing after her.
"Thief." Alaude hissed as he followed the two. 27 didn't hesitate to follow even when Knuckle and Daemon tried to stop him. He struggled to keep up since his body was still weak from lack of muscle and his wounds. 27 saw Alaude run into an alley. When he rounded the same corner he saw two boys his age standing over the unconscious form of the man chasing the girl.
One of the boys had black hair, steely blue eyes, and pale skin. He was dressed in familiar rags the same as the girl and the other boys. The other boy had white hair and gray eyes. The girl was in another boy's arms. This one with blue hair and heterochromatic eyes.
"Kufufu, good work, 96."
"N-Nii-sama…"
"Thieves. Prepare to be arrested." Alaude growls as he pulled a set of handcuffs from his jacket. If 27 had been in their place he'd have pass out from the scary look on the man's face but the black haired boy held up two bent pieces of metal that were probably supposed to act as tonfa's.
"Hn, I'll bite you to death Herbivore."
"EXTREME! 18 YOU ARE TOTALLY EXTREME! I'LL HELP TOO!" The white haired boy screamed as he fist pumped. After his joyful display though his smile melted off his face and he got into a fighting stance with his fists held close to his body.
"Kufufu, it seems we've found someone who can actually fight. I'll assist you." The blue pineapple haired boy says and walks to stand with the other two while he pushed the girl he called 96 behind him a trident appeared in his hands.
"I don't need your help, Pineapple Herbivore." By now Knuckle and the others had arrived and were standing with a shaking 27.
'7-72! What do we do? Alaude-san will definitely arrest them!'
'Well they did steal from that man, probably.'
'Probably? You're going to watch them get hurt because of a 'probably'?'
'Hm… 27, don't those clothes their wearing look familiar?'
'W-what do you mean? Their clothes are not the important thing here!'
'Look at them! Don't they look like the ones you and the others wore at the Estraneo base?'
27 stopped his mental freak-out and looked closer at the kids who were now fighting (and losing to) Alaude. Seeing the familiar once white now red/brown clothes with their numbers printed on the sleeve the brunette froze.
"HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
