~ Chapter 6 ~

After Sakura fainted, her soulless body laid on the hospital bed; in a dream like state. Her soul traveled into a universe that was all too familiar. Surrounded by the feeling of fear and courage, she found herself staring at what looked to be Kakashi and herself in that strange ninja attire again.
She looked closer and noticed 2 other people with them, but she couldn't quite make out who. Suddenly, one of the faceless figures runs up to her and stabs her right in the heart (when Sasuke uses genjutsu on her). Sakura watches the scene unfold before her; a surge of pain and anguish fills her chest but she continues to gaze at the events playing right before her eyes. Distracted, Sakura was then interrupted by a chilling voice that whispered into her ear. "You see the man that did that to you? You love him." Sakura looked around to find no one. I don't understand what is happening, she thought to herself. In pain, Sakura continues watching the horrific and confusing scene. She studied the man that resembled Kakashi, very thoroughly. How he carefully held her and caressed her cheek. Kakashi...
Back in Tokyo hospital, Kakashi watched through the glass window of Sakura's room. He wanted to help her, he needed to. There was a strong feeling that wouldn't let him take his eyes off her. Like a promise needed to be fulfilled. Feelings aside, Kakashi put two and two together and realized that Sakura was Tsunade's granddaughter, it just makes sense, why else would Tsunade have been so worried about her. "Hatake san, Tsunade is requesting you in her office" nurse Tonton hesitantly whispered, even she could tell that he was thinking long and hard about something. Tonton led Kakashi to the office where Tsunade was waiting. The tension in the room was obvious, the two needed to discuss certain things.
Okay, this is Sakura's grandmother. So, she'll definitely want to know what's going on between Sakura and I. Wait a second, there's nothing going on between us. Right?! I mean, I was just piggy backing her because she hurt herself and was laughing uncontrollably like a maniac; a maniac that has an absolutely beautiful smile. And who could forget those deep emerald eyes and her lovely rose coloured hair to top it off. Just a moment... Kakashi get a hold of yourself! Red hues shot through his entire body, he was as turning as bright as a tomato.
"Thank you for your assistance earlier Hatake san, for now Sakura's condition is stable and she'll wake up very soon" said Tsunade as she turned to see a fuming red Kakashi, which she found rather odd and peculiar. "Is everything alright? Or do you need to be checked out as well?" asked Tsunade. Kakashi immediately snapped out of his daydream and recalled the severity of the entire situation. "Thank you for your concern, but I'm alright, just a little warm is all, but I'm glad to hear that Sakura will be okay" he explained.
"Well, if you say you're fine, I'll take your word for it, but do you mind me asking as to how the two of you met? Did you two work together before? You both seemed awfully close, I mean I'm just curious, after all you know she's kinda like, just my granddaughter so I kinda want to know these things, but no pressure" Tsunade said while maintaining her calm composure. She didn't want to admit it, but she was slightly overprotective when it came to family. "Well, we met by accident and one thing led to another and…" as Kakashi was explaining things to Tsunade, outside the office door nurse Tonton and Shizune were trying to eavesdrop on the conversation. "One thing…" said Shizune, "LED TO ANOTHER?!" squealed Tonton. The two ladies giggled like school girls. "You know, it's about time Sakura found someone who meets her standards" exclaimed Tonton. "He does seem to surpass the average man around here" Shizune nodded in agreement. "Word is, he's extremely smart, HANDSOME, and he knows how to treat a woman." Tonton was already fangirling and imagining what their children would look like. " You don't think he's too old for her though do you?" Shizune asked. "Of course not, besides Sakura's only been with boys, what she needs is a good and decent man in her life" Tonton mischievously smiled.
"You know, Tsunade is also available, she should invest in searching for a man too." Shizune sighed. "Yeah, she isn't getting any younger" Tonton said. As the two giggled on, they didn't realize that the office door had been opened halfway through their conversation. "Ahem…" Tsunade coughed aggravated while Kakashi covered his face with embarrassment. "Who's not getting any younger?!" Tsunade growled. "Oops" Tonton laughed nervously. "If the two of you have time to gossip, then you obviously have time to work" Tsunade grinned evilly, as she thought up more work to add to their shifts. " Nurse Tonton, Shizune, you've met Hatake san during the meeting earlier correct?" asked Tsunade. "Oh, we know Hatake san alright" Tonton winked.
"Huh?" Kakashi chuckled nervously. "We leave Sakura in your capable hands" Shizune whispered. "Your strong capable woman loving hands" Tonton winked even harder and weirder this time. "What are you having a seizure?! Stop blinking like that, and you stop fooling around, we need to get back to work and check on Sakura" Tsunade yelled.
With all the fuss and commotion, they didn't realize Doctor Katsuyu (Lady Katsuyu) walking towards them. "That won't be necessary, I was just with Sakura and she's slowly coming to". "How is she doing?" Kakashi asked abruptly. "For one thing, she keeps coming in and out of her black out, which leads me to believe is one of the causes of her memory loss" Doctor Katsuyu said in a sombre tone.
"Memory loss?!" Kakashi heard enough and quickly made his way to Sakura's room. Why was he in such a state of panic? I can't lose her again. When he arrived he found Sakura sitting up and gazing out the window. She turned to Kakashi and smiled. "Hey Kakashi, sorry for blacking out earlier".
A great sense of relief flooded into the man's eyes. Hearing her say his name meant that she remembered him.
"I'm sorry for piggy backing you so forwardly, but I'm glad to see that you're doing well" he smiled. "Puh-pp-piggy back? When did, no wait, why did, oh my god how embarrassing" Sakura muffled her face into her hands. "Sorry for all that trouble I've caused you, but I can't remember anything like that" Sakura turned away nervously. Then in a quick moment, Sakura found her hands being put down and staring straight into Kakashi's bold eyes; and in a low voice he said "You can't remember, or you don't want to?" Flustered but enticed, Sakura simply responded with "I really can't remember much, but remind me again about what else we did" she smirked seductively.
As the two were clearly breaking boundaries that had not been set, they seemed to be on the same page mentally.
WHAT THE HELL AM I DOING?! Thought both Kakashi and Sakura.
Finally Tsunade, Shizune, and Tonton arrived at the scene, and could only look on with dropped jaws. "What do you know? Things have most certainly become rather interesting" Doctor Katsuyu smiled.
Now on a much less excited floor of Tokyo hospital Lee and Uzumaki were having a casual conversation about various things. "What would you do with 5 million yen Uzumaki san?" Lee said as he slurped on his tea. " Two words Lee, Ramen…" Naruto said until Lee interrupted him. "Raw Men?!" Lee screamed. "Uzumaki san, I didn't know you felt this way. We can't! We only just met and I'm not too sure if I can return your feelings, but maybe in another univer-" Lee suddenly felt a painful punch at the back of his head. "You idiot, you didn't let me finish. I was going to say Ramen shops" Uzumaki smirked as he rubbed his hands together connivingly.
"Ramen shop?" asked a confused Lee. "No, no, no my friend. Not shop, but SHOPS" Naruto heaved as he imagined all the stalls he could feast in and all that ramen he could try. "You're incredibly dedicated Uzumaki san, I like that in a person" Lee beamed red. "Ehhh… why are you blushing like that?" Naruto asked fearfully. "I just, well I" Lee started to stutter for some strange reason. As the new friends were getting along, lurking in the shadows was an eccentric personality who was thrilled to see the beginnings of a lifelong friendship and healthy rivalry. "Ah youth" said Gai.
