"Ruby? RUBY? It should not take this long to put on a bikini." Weiss prodded from the other side of the bathroom door.
"Why isn't there a clasp? How are you supposed to tie it tight enough when it is behind your back!" Ruby yelled back through the door.
"Ruby just open up and let me tie it then." Weiss replied.
"Wha! How! I need to properly put on the bikini before I am dressed enough to let anyone else see me." Ruby yelled back.
"Just hold it in place and I will come in and tie it. We are talking about the difference of one string of coverage here Ruby." Weiss argued.
A long silence proceeded before Ruby said "Promise you won't laugh.".
"Ruby, why would I laugh?" Weiss said gently just before the door unlocked. Weiss walked in and saw Ruby with her bare back to her with her hands holding the bikini top in place. Hoping not to scare Ruby back into her proverbial shell, Weiss silently tied Ruby's bikini top, double knotting it so that Ruby could feel it was secure.
"There. Now can we please head outside." Weiss pleaded, grabbing Ruby's hand and attempting to drag her outside.
"Wait! I still need to put on the rest of my clothes." Ruby stated.
"What is the difference. You are literally walking ten feet, through an empty house, out the door and then you are on the beach." Weiss stated.
"Well you have the rest of your clothes on!" Ruby protested. Weiss sighed, released Ruby's hand, and then promptly shed her top clothes until she was just in a bikini, like Ruby.
"I'm curious what your next excuse will be." Weiss asked a stunned Ruby. Ruby was so stunned by the sight of Weiss in a snow white bikini, she didn't even try to think up a new excuse. "Great. Now lets go." Weiss said dragging Ruby outside with her.
"I want to know what happened, exactly, when you kidnapped Jaune." Pyrrha demanded.
I shrugged my shoulders at her and offered her a gesture. I didn't have my scroll with me to answer properly.
Pyrrha reached behind her and grabbed a stick off the beach. "Here! Write it in the sand." Pyrrha shouted throwing the stick at me.
I quickly obliged her and started writing letters in the sand as fast as I could. The rock in her hand looked more menacing than the Hydra as now I knew I had no Aura to protect me. 'He was still unconscious so I put him in my bed. I retrieved one of my medkit's and started ...' I wrote before a sound of exasperation stopped me.
"This is going to take forever at this pace." Pyrrha stated. "Just fill in the blanks." Pyrrha commanded. "When Jaune woke up what did he do?" Pyrrha questioned.
'Want. Leave.' I scribbled in the sand.
"And you didn't let him leave or he gave in?" Pyrrha asked.
'I Ignore' I wrote.
"Why?" Pyrrha asked.
'Hurt' I wrote.
"And then he helped you with your cut?" Pyrrha asked, to which I nodded. Pyrrha looked saddened by what I just told her and didn't ask me to continue.
"After he was back with us he was acting strange. When I got to the root of what was bugging him he revealed that he had ... feelings for you. Why?" Pyrrha asked. What? Jaune liked me? I thought that after his omniscience he realized that being with me would get him home quicker.
"Well?" Pyrrha prodded. I shrugged. It couldn't be right. I'm tolerable and persuasive, not likable. They can't ... like me. Jaune didn't like me. Ruby couldn't have liked me, could she?
This newfound surge of emotion was accented by the surge of my Aura returning.
"Answer me!" Pyrrha prodded.
I couldn't. I didn't know the answer. I could do only one thing, show her my life and hope she found the answer herself. I quickly grabbed a hold of her and teleported her with me.
I took her everywhere, my bunker, my favorite places, and the house where I grew up. I ended it on a mountain looking at the sunset. I looked at her expectantly.
"That was so ... lonely." Pyrrha stated. "Those were just places, devoid of people. Do you really have no family, no friends in your life?" Pyrrha asked.
The hope that had built up in me since Pyrrha told me of Jaune's feelings had just been extinguished. I knew it. Jaune didn't like me, Ruby didn't like me, they pitied me.
We sat in silence for a good while. I left her at some point to get us some clothes and my scroll, as bikini's weren't the best dress for the top of a mountain.
"Oh stop pouting." Pyrrha exclaimed "At least you have an excuse for having no friends. Before I went to Beacon I was constantly surrounded by admirers and fan but I had nobody close to me.".
I rolled my eyes at her. Big whoop. You were lonely before. I am lonely now and the only thing I can do about it is kidnap people. It is always fun, while it lasts, but sooner or later I have to give them back and then I am alone again.
"I'm not stupid by the way." Pyrrha stated "I knew from the second you laid down beside me on the beach that I was your next pursuit. To your credit, you have successfully done a great deal to placate me and show me that you are actually a person. However, I am with Jaune now and there is no way I am cheating on him.".
I couldn't say I was upset. Although I could use some cheering up, given my recent realizations, I don't think I could muster the enthusiasm to properly enjoy my time with her.
"Then again ... I did win the race and I saved you from the Grimm. You have a debt you need to make up to me ... somehow." Pyrrha stated.
I looked at her inquisitively and typed 'What about Jaune?'.
"As I said before, I don't plan too cheat on him." Pyrrha stated with a smirk.
The day had worn on and neither Pyrrha nor Neo had returned to the group. Everyone was exhausted and sunburnt from a day on a hot tropical island. One by one they all headed into the guest bedrooms of the Schnee summer house. Ruby was the first to retire, locking herself into a bedroom, and Jaune was the last, his worry going to interfere with his sleep, as his girlfriend had vanished with another woman.
"What took you so long?" Pyrrha stated seductively as Jaune opened the door to his room.
"Pyrrha! How long have you been back? Where is Neo?" Jaune asked quickly entering the room to embrace her.
As if answering his last question, I shut the door behind him, isolating the three of us in the bedroom.
"You should have come to bed sooner Jaune. You would have given us less time to ... plan." Pyrrha cooed into Jaune's ear. Pyrrha beckoned me closer and I walked up behind Jaune.
"Uh ... um." Jaune stammered as he heard my approach.
"As you might have guessed, I won the race today and ... as my reward ... Neo has agreed to do anything I ask for the rest of the day. I came back for your help Jaune. As your semblance is omniscience, what do you think I should ask her to do?" Pyrrha asked, tripping Jaune back onto the bed as she asked.
"I ... Um" Jaune stammered again, unable to form a sentence.
"No ideas? That's a shame. I guess we will have to go with my plan then." Pyrrha teased before she snapped her fingers.
At the signal I teleported to the other side of the bed. I gazed down into Jaune's eyes as my hands made their way to the hem of his shirt.
Poor boy. He had no idea what we had in store for him.
I awoke rather early despite the events that took place the night before. I probably would have stayed in bed longer if Pyrrha had let me cuddle Jaune through the night. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that her sharing capacity had it's limits.
I got dressed silently as I didn't want to disturb the adorable couple. I looked on in envy for a moment. I wanted that. Not the cuddling or the nudity but the ... closeness. Maybe it's time.
I opened the bedroom door and closed it as silently as I could. I turned to head into the kitchen to make breakfast but I stopped as someone was blocking my way.
Ruby was standing in my way, her eyes bloodshot and her cheeks reddened from something other than a blush.
"Hi" Ruby stated, her voice sorrowful.
I gave an awkward wave to her.
"Look I ... I just wanted to thank you for the birthday party ... and to ask you a favor." Ruby stated, emotion flaring in her voice.
I slowly nodded, not really wanting her to continue.
"First with Yang and now Jaune ... it looks like you are coming ... back for people now and I ... I ... I don't want you to come back for me." Ruby stated, barely holding it together as she spoke.
I was frozen by my guilt. What have you done you monster? Ruby left me standing there as she retreated back to her room. I could hardly bare the possibility of Ruby pitying me but ... she hates me now. I couldn't. I can't. I ... I ... I ... need to make this right and there was only one man who could help me.
Ozpin was in his office, looking over the new student applications when the room suddenly got a little brighter.
"So have you come to apologize for you crimes?" Ozpin asked, putting away the applications and looking up from is work to lock eyes with me. An unknown number sent him as text message, moments later.
'Nothing as unofficial as that.' I typed and sent to his scroll.
"Hmm ... an official apology. You aren't hoping for a penance are you?" Ozpin asked.
'That is exactly what I want.' I wrote.
"Unfortunately, no legal system supports this practice." Ozpin stated.
'But exceptions can be made.' I wrote.
"What makes you think you are worthy of an exception." Ozpin challenged.
'I'm not but you don't have many other choices. You can either offer me a deal and end your pursuit of me, try to imprison me and fail, or try to kill me and risk my wrath if you fail. I don't think you have the stomach for the last one.' I typed, giving him a challenging glare.
"Don't be so sure. I'll remind you I have lived through a war. But you are right, I would rather end this peacefully so lets make a deal and we'll take it to the Vale authorities." Ozpin stated.
Wait, who is we?
Of what happened next, I remember the sounds most of all. The dinging of an elevator. The scrape of metal sliding against leather. The click of a gun. BANG.
I didn't feel the pain for several seconds. It gave me the time to turn and see General Ironwood standing in the elevator with a smoking gun.
Then it came from my lower back like I was struck by lightning. I must have teleported half a dozen times before I regained my herrings. Pushing through the pain I forced my mind to think rationally. It came up with the words: Vacuo, Hospital.
I appeared in the middle of the crowded hospital and fell to the floor. There were shouts and screams so I knew I was noticed. Doctors and nurses rushed to my side and promptly lifted me onto a stretcher. Another group made it's way towards me and pushed the doctors aside.
"You are under arrest. Surrender yourself for medical attention." The robotic voice of a Atlesian knight demanded. This wasn't right, I was in Vacuo and the doctors seemed to know it too.
"Deactivate immediately." one of the doctors commanded. One of the robots turned to shove him.
"Interference with this arrest will be deemed a declaration of war against Atlas." the Vacuo owned robot declared.
I couldn't afford anymore delays as I was beginning to feel light headed. I teleported to my bunker, the doctors and nurses who had been in contact with me traveled with me.
"W-What just happened." one of the nurses fretted.
One of the more level headed doctors ignored her and stated "Alright we need to get the bullet out. Lets lift her up onto that table.".
I screamed as they entered my wound, not having any anesthetic with them. I passed in and out of consciousness as they took out the bullet.
"What kind of bullet is that?" I heard one of them say. Moments later the ground shook. It shook again and again with loud booming sounds getting louder and louder. Suddenly the roof of my bunker exploded inwards, destroying the bathroom area. Sunlight poured down into my safe haven and the skeletal shadows of more Atlesian knight's were cast against the ruined floor.
The doctors panicked and retreated to the corners of my bunker, too far away from me to take them with me. I teleported away.
This was my last hope to find shelter and help. I hadn't been here in so long. Before I even had time to look around I blacked out, my wound still unsealed.
When I awoke I felt no pain. In fact I felt warmth and comfort. I put my hand over my wound to feel a fully healed scar. Someone had taken good care of me.
"Welcome back." a woman stated from behind my bed.
"We missed you, Neo" she said as she moved to my bedside reveal her black hair and glowing amber eyes.
