The Fall of Muirthemne
With my eyes I see our foe,
Outnumbered one to three.
Today we all fight to survive,
For the Cath Bruig's prosperity.
…
Yet the monsters, standing tall before us,
They chill me to my soul.
On my confidence and bravery,
They take a heavy toll.
…
So the tide of darkness reaches us,
On both sides many fall.
But steadily we're driven back,
Right to the city's walls.
…
Maybe, I think as I utter prayer,
Salvation it will come.
To give hope to our broken forces,
To show the battle is not done.
…
A false hope though, the battle's lost,
Our lives at an end.
Around us lie so many bodies,
Of comrades, fallen friends.
…
And so the Dark it reaches west,
To those fair lands they'll go.
Balor's campaign has begun,
And the world shall know much woe.
