Chapter I

Day One In Senior Year : Part I

BEEP!

Slam!

I woke up to the sound of my alarm. Three beeps was all it took to wake me up. "Ichigo! Time to wake up!" I heard my mom yell.

"Ok! I'm awake Mom!" I yelled back. Monday. Ugh, how I hate Mondays. I grouchily got out of bed. I sighed in relief as my bones clicked into the right places.

I walked towards my wardrobe to bring out my senior high school uniform.

That's right. I'm a senior. I guess I should introduce myself. My name is Momomiya Ichigo. I'm 17 years old and I'm in my final year for high school.

It's been four years since the battle with the Saint Rose Crusaders.

After the battle, everything returned back to normal again.

We all still work at Café Mew Mew, but only occasionally.

The members of the Saint Rose Crusaders decided to disband and they joined us. Retasu and Sweet Juliet attend the same university. After the group's disbandment, Retasu and Juliet became very close. They both loved reading books, and they shared many other interests with each other. Sweet Juliet, like Retasu, also bears a deep love for animals so they both study Veterinary Sciences. Happy Child, who is just a year younger than Purin, attends the same junior high school with her. They are really close friends, and their personalities match almost perfectly. Surprisingly, Happy Child is a little more mature than Purin. It's amusing when they argue over something fickle, and Purin would pout and sulk when it doesn't go her way.

Royal Highness and Keiichiro-san get along quite well. Royal Highness assists Keiichiro-san with experiments and always suggests ideas and possibilities for experiments. He is also quite talented at baking, like Keiichiro-san. The desserts and pastries that they create are the best in the entire world.

Blue Bayou and Shirogane have a strong bond as well, but they don't like showing it in front of others. If you are in the room, they act as though they are only tolerating each other, but when they think no one is looking, their bond is unbreakable. I would know, because I've seen it.

Berry and Tasuku are still going strong, their relationship as strong as ever. They are aways so cute so cute around each other, especially when they give their partner unexpected displays of affection. It is so cute! Berry and I attend the same high school that isn't far from my home.

As for myself, Masaya and I broke up about a year ago. It was a mutual understanding, because our feelings calmed down after some time. We realized that we were better off as friends. Minto and Zakuro-san don't work at the café anymore. Minto mainly focused on her ballet career, while Zakuro-san focused on her modeling career, although, they do come visit often.

Back to the present, I left my bedroom to go freshen up. Once I was in the bathroom, I brushed my teeth, then stripped my night wear.

Going to the shower, I turned on the hot faucet, and stepped into the shower. I sighed in bliss as the warm water caressed my pale skin. I then took my favourite strawberry-scented shampoo and conditioner and washed my hair. I washed my body with my rose and honey-scented body wash. After washing myself, I turned off the faucet and stepped out of the shower. I took a fuzzy white towel and dried myself, then I left for my bedroom. Once I entered my bedroom, I removed my towel and got dressed. My high school uniform consisted of a white shirt, a red and black striped tie, a black skirt, black bobby socks and a red blazer. My black loafers were downstairs. Going to my mirror, I brushed my waist length cherry-coloured hair and put it in a side French braid. After applying transparent lip gloss, I grabbed my school bag and left my bedroom.

Walking downstairs, the scent of bacon, eggs and toast filled my nose. I walked into the kitchen to find my dad reading a newspaper and my mom drinking a cup of coffee. "Good morning Mom, Dad," I greeted. "Good morning Ichigo," they chimed. "Did you sleep well, Ichigo?" My mom, Momomiya Sakura, asked me. "Yes I did, Mom." I answered. "That's good. Are you ready for your final year, Ichigo?" My dad, Momomiya Shintaro, asked me. "Yeah I am Dad." "That's good." My dad said.

"Well Ichigo, why don't you eat your breakfast so you can leave?" My mom suggested. "Ok, Mom." Strangely enough, I actually felt excited for the day ahead. I felt like I could take on anything. After eating my breakfast, I left for school. "I'm leaving now, Mom, Dad!" I said.

"Have a nice day, Ichigo!" I heard my parents say after I put on my school shoes. I walked out of the door and walked towards the direction of my school. As I walked to school, I got the feeling that something special was going to happen.

Little did I know, everything was going to change.
