Epilouge
I was at an Authoress/Authorer reunion. You see, a lot of us, Authorers and Authoresses from different dimensions, try and get together every once in a while to keep in touch. These reunions help us spread news and meet other new Authorers/ Authoresses as well as old ones.
I loved going to the reunions. They were usually hosted by the top Authorers/ Authoresses but this year, Lizzie was hosting it at her house. Her family was nice, even though her mom seemed a little too much into girly stuff, including the most horrible color, pink.
But other than that, the reunion was awesome. All my new friends were there, including Will, Nico, Lizzie, and this new Authorer, Jesse James. And my ridiculously annoying adoptive brother, Percy Jackson.
I spent half the reunion chasing Percy around with a frying pan because he pranked me, again! I didn't stop until Lizzie told me that if I kept doing that, then her parents would kick me out. That stopped me really quick.
I went to sit next to my friends. As soon as, I had sat down on the porch, I said to them.
"So what have you been doing without me, dying of boredom?"
"You wish, Lily." Nico said snorting.
I used my Authoress powers to dump a cup of water on his head.
"Hey!" He complained. I stuck my tongue out at him and he did the same.
"Real mature, guys." Will said shaking his head. As an answer, the two of us stuck our tongues out at him.
"Anyway, we were just talking about the contest that the top Authorers and Authoresses came up with." Lizzie said changing the subject.
"What contest?" I asked.
"The top Authorers and Authoresses set up this contest to see which Authorer/ Authoress would fit in the best while in a dimension that they didn't live in or hadn't been to for a very long time." Jesse explained. "If you can last a few months there without drawing too much attention to yourself and without people starting to threaten you in particular, then you made it to the winners' circle."
"What do the winners get?" I asked.
"No one knows that, the top Authorers and Authoresses refuse to tell any of us." Lizzie replied before saying. "I plan on going to the Kanes dimension."
"Shoot, I guess I have to find a different one to go to then." I complained and seeing her confused look, I said. "I can't go to the same dimension as my very best friend, now can I?"
"Guess not." Lizzie conceded.
"Well I plan on heading to Harry Potter dimmension." Jesse said smiling. That rules out that dimension as well.
"And I'm going to the Dragonriders of Pern dimension." Will added. I wasn't even going to try that dimension anyway.
I started thinking about which dimension I would go to. I couldn't go to the Harry Potter, Kanes, or the Dragonriders of Pern dimensions. I wasn't going to try the Michael Vey dimension and I quickly ruled out several others. I finally decided on a particularly dangerous dimension.
"So have you decided which dimension you're going to, Lily?" Lizzie asked.
"Yep but I'm not telling." I replied.
"Aww, what! We told you ours!" Jesse complained.
"Shush, you'll find out once I tell the top Authorers and Authoresses." I told him, smirking.
"You're terrible, you know that, right?" Lizzie asked.
"Yes, she is." I jumped as Percy appeared beside me. "Though what else would you expect from my baby sister."
"I'm going to kill you with a frying pan." I threatened him and he paled dramatically. Percy backed away from me with his hands in the air.
"Lily, stop threatening Percy." Lizzie chastised me.
"Fine, but later you are so dead, kelp head." I sighed.
"Stop calling me that!" Percy complained.
"Never!" I declared.
"Definetly terrible." Percy said nodding. I jabbed his side with my elbow.
"I'm not terrible, that's you." I said and he pouted.
"You're mean."
"And yet I still invited you to this party, which I'm regretting a lot." I said muttering the last part.
"You know you love me." Percy said cheekily.
I snorted and said.
"You wish."
"I seem to remember you wishing me out of my story, twice I may add." Percy said grinning.
"I'll punch you." I said though I didn't really mean it.
"Fine, I'm going." Percy said before going to annoy the other guests.
I sighed and leaned back against one of the supports of the porch. Percy could really tire someone out.
"You know, Percy's actually pretty cool." Jesse said before asking. "Why don't you two get along?"
"What makes you think we don't get along?" I asked surprised. "Sure Percy and I have our arguments, and sure I threaten him a lot, but that doesn't mean we don't get along."
"But every time I see you with him, you're arguing about something." Jesse pointed out.
"That's good natured arguing." I said smiling. "It's something that most siblings do."
"That's not something that my siblings and I do." Will said. Both Nico and Lizzie seconded that statement.
"Well that's the way that an Authoress and a child of Poseidon handle being siblings." I said before adding. "Besides Percy and I have a bit of a sibling rivalry."
They nodded.
We continued to talk for a long time before I leaned back against one of the porch supports and started recalling everything that had happened to me. I had gotten a new sibling, gone to a different dimension, fought in a war and won, and I had gotten quite a few new friends.
Life was good. And I could only wait for what was to come in the future.
