Platinum Berlitz had known for a fact that Diamond, or Dia for short, had an enormous appetite, enough to rival that of his Munchlax's.

But she was still surprised when the aforementioned boy entered their hotel room carrying a pouch full of an assortment of sweets only an hour after eating at the hotel's eat- all- you- can sushi buffet. His Munchlax, surprisingly, was not with him.

The pretty heiress tilted her head to one side. "Dia?"

"Yeah, Lady?" he responded, popping an orange gumdrop into his mouth. Dia strode across the room and sat beside Platinum. She felt the sofa rise and fall as his weight shifted the cushion.

"Aren't you full yet?" she asked, smiling. For some reason, she had always liked the sight of Diamond eating. He looked so happy and contented, regardless of the food in his mouth.

Dia grinned, his teeth stained red. "Oh, this? It's dessert." He handed the pouch to her.

"Want some?"

Lady peeked inside the pouch. A variety of colorful sweets greeted her steel colored eyes. She randomly picked a yellow piece of candy.

"Lemon drop." she muttered amusedly to herself and bit onto it. A sudden tangy taste in her mouth made her wince in surprise. "It's more sour than sweet," she giggled.

"Eh? Really? Let me try." He leaned over to her hand and she plunked the half eaten piece into his mouth. Diamond's eyebrows furrowed a bit.

"Ugh… it is sour." he stuck his tongue out. Platinum laughed and got another piece. This time it was brown in color.

"Try this. I think it's chocolate."

She dropped the block in his mouth, her fingers brushing lightly on his upper lip. Both she and Dia jerked back in surprise at the sudden touch.

"Sorry." she mumbled incoherently, her cheeks reddening by the second. Diamond looked embarrassedly at her, his eyes darting around, as if looking for anyone who might have seen them.

Diamond chewed. "Chocolate covered almond." he reported, grinning.

They tested each piece of candy, stopping only to critique the sweet. After a little while, the pouch lay empty beside the two of them.

"Well, that was fun." Platinum sighed, certain that she had gained at least two pounds because of their sweet sampling session.

Dia smiled pleasantly at her. Platinum felt her heart pitter patter against her chest.

"We should do this again sometime."

She nodded her head, happy for the invitation.

There was a short silence then Diamond abruptly stood up, surprising both of them again.

"It's getting late." he started.

"Yes it is." she agreed.

"I should get going."

"I suppose so."

"G'night, Lady."

"Good night, Dia."

Dia strode to the door and hesitated opening it. Platinum noticed him standing awkwardly with his hand on the doorknob.

She walked toward him. "Is there something wrong?" she asked worriedly.

He gave her a sheepish look. "I was supposed to tell you something, but I forgot what it was."

Platinum chuckled. "Maybe you'll remember tomorrow."

"Maybe. G'night, Lady."

"Good night, Dia."

I love CommonerShipping. Dia and Platinum make such a cute couple! I've been meaning to write a fic for them, seeing as how there are only a handful of CommonerShipping fics here… We need more CommonerShipping, y'hear me?

Hmmm... I wonder what Dia was planning on telling Platinum... huehuehue! (o w o)
