Pairing: Mai x Naru

Masako Hara was known for been a great matchmaker, the best if she said so herself. She worked a little bit different than others, one match only and with marriage expectations with in 6 months.

She rarely made a mistake, no one knew this but she was able to see the threads that will unite people. So now she was in a big dilema ..how was she supposed to know that they knew each other already.

"How can you matched me with that jerk!" Mai huffed

"Mai he is not a jerk, he is just well how can I put this? ... a little of a know it all"

"Know it all?! He is a narcissist!" She shouted before dropping on the couch

"Mai can you behave"

"I don't wanna" she said crossing her arms like a child making a tantrum

"It seemed that it didn't go as bad as you think, the request of a next meeting came this morning " Masako said

"Whaaattt! No I'm not doing this again"

"Mai you entered the contact, you must continue "

"I didn't sign up for this, when I said I wanted to get married. I didn't think that you will match me with that ...that idiot!" She shouted and threw one of the pillows to the floor

"Manners Mai , manners . That is why all of your relationship end badly, behave like a lady" Masako scolded

"Masako" she whined

"You are attending, I don't care what he did before this started"

Flashback

Mai was having one of those days, it seemed like she got out from the wrong side of the bed because she was late, couldn't find a taxi and now it was raining when she didn't have an umbrella. She had managed to take cover and not get soaked , when the rain was gone she walked to the corner of the street and waited for the sign to cross to turn green.

A guy stood next to her with an umbrella, suddenly a car drove by and splashed her. The guy decided it was time to close his umbrella at that time and in the process he splashed more water on her.

"Hey! What do you think you are doing?" She shouted

He eyed her up and down and raised an eyebrow at her but said nothing

"Well at least say something!" She demanded

"You need to pay more attention to your surroundings" he stated

"I would have dodged it if you weren't standing there blocking my view!" She argued

"I'll pay for your dry cleaning " he said opening his wallet and took out a card

"Here, call there and my assistant will arrange it" he said

"You know you should take responsibility of your actions, not have others take care of things for you" she lectured

"Is that so?" He said with a smirk

"Yes! Well you are an adult"

"Very well. Hand the card" he stretched his hand

Mai slammed the card on his hand and he pocketed it and took a different one

"That is mine, once you have your clothes call and I will take care of it myself " he said and walked away

His attitude bothered Mai more than what had happened, she huffed and walked towards her work annoyed and for some reason she couldn't get the guy out of her mind all day... how frustrating!

That was how they met and it still irked her to remember that day. The shock when they had the first meeting for the matchmaking was a constant argument between them but she couldn't say she hated it , it was rather entertaining.

Now here she was again going to the restaurant, her heart speeding like crazy and she didn't know why she was feeling so restless.

"You're late" a voice whispered at her ear

She jumped startled turning around to see a smirking face and for some reason she wanted to slap him to get that cocky face off.

"You should be thankful I came"

"Very well, but next time be on time" he said walking towards a table

"Next time? You think there is going to be a next time?" She asked following him

"Yes" he responded

And that is how their hate and love relationship started... at the end of the 6 months a narcissist and a clumsy girl married.

Masako Hara smiled, she knew she was right. She was definitely the best.
