When the trio got back to the Burrow they found Arthur reading beside Haley's bed.

Arthur looked up from his book when he heard the door open. The trio watched Haley for a minute before Arthur ushered them out of the room quietly and led them downstairs.

"How did it go?" he asked as they sat around the kitchen table.

No one answered for a minute but Sirius broke the silence, "I thought I would feel better when I learned what they had done. I thought that the fear I had been feeling would go away… I thought the maybe it wasn't as bad as I thought it was. I convinced myself that it may have been bad but it couldn't have been that unbearable if Haley hadn't told anyone… But I was wrong. It was worse than my imagination made it. Now that I know… The fear is still there but now it's just been overrun by angry and sadness. Being in that 'bedroom' for a few minutes was worse than all my time in Azkaban."

No one knew what to say to that. Arthur was not sure he wanted to know what they had found but knew he would have to learn.

"I should go get some sleep," Sirius said standing up. "I promised Haley I'd take a kip while she did. I'll be on her bed if anyone needs me." With that Sirius transformed and quickly ran up the stairs."

Arthur turned to the two others frowning, "Do I want to know what you found?"

Remus sighed, "Probably not but you should probably know…" Remus explained to him about the finding the cupboard and going upstairs to find Sirius being sick in the bathroom. He hadn't seen the bedroom but he explained what Sirius had told them.

As soon as his tale was finished he excused himself to the bedroom he was staying in and Molly and Arthur headed off to their own room.

When Haley woke she found that her legs had gone numb from a large dig lying on them.

"Padfoot, could you please get off me? I can't feel my legs."

The dog quickly crawled off the bed and transformed, "Sorry deer. How do you feel otherwise?"

"Alright, I'm kinda hungry."

"Well, Molly should be cooking breakfast…"

"Breakfast?" Haley cut him off, "I slept all day and night?"

"Yeah, well potion I gave you may have had a hand in that but you needed the rest." He then swooped down and scooped her into his arms. Haley put her arms around his neck and laid her head on his shoulders as he carried her down the stairs. He couldn't stop thinking about how small and light she was. He had always thought she had gotten that from her parents. James was always scrawny but when Sirius would tease him for it he would just say that it was why he was such a fast flyer. Lily on the other hand was very petite. Sirius remembered him and the guys friendly teasing her saying that she had to be part elf to be so small.

Sirius couldn't believe that he hadn't noticed before that Haley was even small than Lily had been at her age and he hadn't thought it possible.

After breakfast Haley was feeling, for the first time, uncomfortable being in Sirius, Remus, and Mr. and Mrs. Weasley's company. All through breakfast they had been stealing glances at her but never said anything. They all looked even sadder than they had they last few days (if that was possible) and hardly said a word. When she looked at them they would look away.

As they all sat in the living room, Haley broke the silence. "Did I miss something?"

"What do you mean deer?" Remus asked.

"Everyone's staring at me… Did I do something wrong?" Haley asked unsure.

"No, no of course not," Molly assured her.

"Then what's wrong?"

Sirius sighed. She was going to find out eventually.

"Yesterday, after you fell asleep, Molly, Remus, and I went with a couple Aurors to Private Drive."
