Chapter 72: Mission Mania

The Lab Rats were on a mission right now. They had just rescued all the victims from a burning hospital…

"That's a great work everyone!" Sakura cheered. She insisted on following the Lab Rats on missions, she is currently healing some patients.

"We just rescued 30 patients, 20 doctors and a very ungrateful grizzly bear." Bree panted as a growl was heard.

"Shh. It's okay," Sakura hushed. "Oh I get it, you were about to smoke a honey-grilled fish when Bree pulled you away."

"You were about to be burnt." Bree added. "Beggars can't be choosers!"

"Don't worry, buddy. I'm gonna adopt you and name you Ted." Sakura cooed the bear.

"Life is so much better now that everyone knows who we are." Adam smiled as some victims took pictures of the Bionics.

"I know, now we don't have to keep our missions a secret." Marcus nodded.

"And people can tell us what we did us right in front of us." Leo added.

"Adam! Bree! Chase! And Marcus! Adam! Bree! Chase and Marcus!" the crowd cheered.

"Are you kidding me?" Leo frowned.

"He's been going on missions with you guys for a month." Sakura added as Leo nodded.

"Maybe you can change your name to something different. Like um…Gorgorio Spirodactus, or Pickles-o-Mouth?" Adam suggested. Marcus laughed hysterically behind before Leo smacked Marcus.

"AD, I like you as and all that, but right now I just want to slap you." Sakura growled as Adam kept silent.

"What about him? He saved at least 6 people?" Sakura asked, pointing at Leo.

"It's true!" Leo looked proud.

"Adam, Bree, Chase, Marcus, and that one kid! Adam, Bree, Chase, Marcus, and that one kid!" the crowd chanted. Leo's face fell when he heard that no one remembers him.

"Okay, the 6 people I rescued? Back to the fire!" Leo growled.

"I'll get the fire." Sakura walked off.

Later, back on the island…

Janelle, Julie, Hilo, Leo, Tracy, Jones, Bob, Spin, Sam, George and the three toddlers were listening to Douglas.

"So, long story short…Donny left me in charge of the island's technology development…but only on a trial basis." Douglas told everyone.

"Why on a trial basis?" Jackie asked.

"I honestly don't know!" Douglas shrugged.

"You tried to kill your entire family!" Julie and Johan exclaimed.

"You don't know me!" Douglas replied back. "can you blame me?"

"Don't worry big guy." Bob patted Douglas. "I'm sure you'll annihilate them next time."

"That's nice." Janelle stated. "But in case you have planned to drown the island, I had handcuffs ready."

"That's my future sister-in-law! Atta girl!" Hilo laughed. "Get married soon okay, bro?"

"oh shut it." Leo nudged his twin.

"Back to the point, I've decided to improve the technology here to get on Donny's good graces…mainly because my sister Dilly has been updating better technology than I've been." Douglas stated.

"You've some mean competition with my mom!" George exclaimed.

"What would you like to see first?" Douglas showed them. "The STABBER 2000? Plague-in-a-bottle? Or my personal favorite: the pencil Bazooka! You cannot erase how many injuries these will cause."

"Where did you get that much pencils? And…Are those my pencils?" Hilo and Tracy demanded.

"It does not matter where I got them." Douglas rolled his eyes. "But yeah, they're yours."

"NO WONDER WHY!" Tracy ranted.

"you should put color pencils in it!" Chloe grinned.

"It's colorful and it kills." Sam advertised as the rest chuckled.

"Oh haha." Douglas exclaimed sarcastically.

"These things are absolutely dangerous!" Jones added.

"Kids CANNOT use these!" Tracy nodded.

"What's the worst that could happen?" Douglas asked the two siblings.

"One of those babies use that bazooka as a toothbrush and stabbed their mouths by accident." Milton pointed out.

"Geez, when you put it that way, you make it sound like I'm dangerous." Douglas looked offended.

"How are these useful for the academy?" Hilo asked.

"How should I know? Ugh! This nephew with the questions!" Douglas eyed Hilo.

"Douglas, Mr. Davenport might not approve any of these weapons!" Sam told Douglas.

"How am I supposed to know? I've been destroying things half of my life, and now I'm supposed to be good?! When did my life gone so wrong?" Douglas asked.

"But you must have something that is safe!" Spin asked.

"Well, I have this." Douglas showed them a chair.

"Ooh! Italian furniture, I approve!" Johan whistled.

"No, it's a lie detector. You just strap a guy onto it asked him questions and of the person is lying, the chair will spin around." Douglas explained.

"Cool." Julie smiled at Douglas. "Now that, is something I'd like to test on someone."

"Whoo!" Jerry just sat onto the chair. "Cool chair! Yo, you mind if I sit?"

"Sure," Milton nodded as he strapped Jerry onto the chair.

"Now Jerry, did you or did you not eat up the chocolate cookies I bought from KinKow?" Brady asked. "I made those to impress Mikayla, who currently has to attend one of her elementary school reunions."

"Nope." Jerry shook his head as the chair spun quickly.

"You were saying?" Milton asked.

"Okay maybe a little." Jerry muttered as he was spun around again.

"OK I ATE THEM ALL PLEASE STOP!" Jerry admitted.

"You monster! I made those cookies all by myself!" Brady ran after Jerry.

"What did you think?" Douglas asked.

"I think you should pack up your bags and go job-hunting. Clearly you need a new job!" Janelle frowned.

"Leo, ya just got a mission alert." Sakura popped her head out. "AD needs you to get there and get unnoticed."

"Really? You two are so close it makes me get goosebumps!" Leo growled as he followed.

"Can we follow?" Spin asked.

"Sorry, you're too young to go." Adam told Spin as he the younger boy frowned. Leo made a face at Spin as he left.

"Man! They're never gonna let me on a mission!" Spin complained.

"Haven't we gotten enough trouble already?" Tracy frowned. "Remember how we sank in quicksand like Atlantis?"

""Don't worry, I'm sure they'' let you go on missions soon." Bob assured as he sat onto the Lie Detecting Chair and flew out of bounds.

"Okay kids, nap time." Milton ushered away the toddlers.

"Ouch! Right on the STABBER 2000!" Jones mumbled.

Meantime with Adam, Chase, Leo and Marcus…

"Ma'am we got your call, what's the problem?" Marcus asked an old lady.

"And fear not, old maiden, because Adam, Chase, and Leo are here." Leo announced as Marcus smacked Leo.

"And Marcus too." Leo piped in.

"My cat is stuck on a tree." The lady cried.

"I don't think this classifies as a mission if it has a cat related problem." Adam hissed.

"But I'm sure if it's Kura on the tree, you'd rescue her right away." Marcus teased.

"That's not a cat." Chase stated. "That's a raccoon!"

"Then where is my cat?" the old lady asked.

"She's right beside you the whole time." Chase pointed out.

"Guys, I just received 5 more mission alerts!" Marcus whispered. "I'm afraid we have to go now ma'am, have a nice day."

Much later at the Academy…

"15 missions and not one is actually an emergency!" Marcus tossed his bag aside.

"Hey guys," Julie waved at Marcus politely.

Sakura and Boz were sitting close, reading a comic book about Blue Tornado and laughing. Adam's eyes were fixed on Sakura the whole time and were filled with annoyance and jealousy about Boz.

"AD." Sakura smiled as she ran up and gave Adam a tickling tackle fight.

"I don't know what's more annoying, the lady who ran out of car gas, or that dude who don't know which happy meals to order." Bree complained as well.

"Sakura, stop. You're *giggle* killing me!" Adam laughed as Sakura stopped tickling him. She looked at him in the eye.

"Well you've been having pointless missions so I thought I could cheer ya up." Sakura smiled.

'Why must she be so cute?' Adam blushed crimson red.

"Why are you so red?" Sakura asked as she leaned closer to Adam.

"JUST KISS ALREADY!" some voices shouted.

"Fate, Emmerich, Destiny, George!" Adam blushed and yelled at his cousins.

"We ship you two like crazy." Destiny giggled.

"We already had a fandom base made." Emmerich added.

"And we just made T-Shirts. #IShipTeamAdura." Fate read.

"You guys are the worst cousins ever." Leo chuckled.

"I don't understand though, how did these people contact you guys?" Julie asked.

"Just now I got a warning letter from some crazed fan to stay away from Adam the Heartthrob?" Sakura added, showing a letter to Adam. "I'd reckoned it's from Stacy Summers, is it because of the voodoo doll I made about her?"

"Guys, I think I just found out why." Boz spotted a card.

'Leo Dooley's Bionic Superhumans'

"That boy is delusional as he is bad at photoshop." Julie admitted.

"How could he do this?" Bree asked.

"Easy, you get a phone and dialed numbers til someone says hello." Adam replied as Sakura laughed.

"I meant how could Leo made business cards to make us look like odd job hunters?!" Marcus asked.

"That's simple. You find a printer, print it and laminated it. There's plenty of shops that do those cards." Adam replied as Sakura laughed even harder.

"Oh Adam, you're so funny!" Sakura was laughing so hard that she panted. "Oh you're killing me!"

"Ah!" Leo sighed as he sat on a sofa. "Being a Bionic solder can be so tiring, am I right people?"

"Yeah, nothing like cheap phony business cards." Bree shoved Leo the business cards.

"Leo, why of all things did you have to make phony cards? You practically exposed bionic missions that were meant of extremely danger crisis, and not to boost your selfish ego of gaining popularity." Julie hissed.

"They had to be cheap, how was I supposed to afford ten thousand of them?" Leo shrugged. "Ooh! Wait! My commercial's on!"

Everyone leaned over to watch.

"Hello! My name is Leo Dolley! Are you a victom of an accident or a terrible disaster? If so? Great! I can help!"

It was a video of Leo with 4 cardboard cutouts of Adam, Bree, Chase and Marcus. [But for very strange reasons, the cardboard cutout of Marcus looked a bit…well…damaged]

"Isn't it awesome?" Leo squealed.

"Nothing is more awesome as fake cardboard people, and isn't that Marcus card our 'I Hate Marcus Club' cardboard cutout that we are supposed to burn, shoot fire, or use it as target practice?" Sakura leaned over.

"It's me! Don't I look dashing? And yes, Kura, yes it is our old torture mascot!" Leo nodded.

"You guys have a mascot of Marcus which you ironically used for murdering target practice?" Julie asked.

"It's not murder, it's just an aggressive expression of me hating Marcus, now and forever will." Sakura shrugged.

"We can solve anything! We can save any life disasters! And remember, if we don' save your lives, your next mission if FREE! Call now!"

The video ended with Leo almost knocking over the Marcus cardboard.

"Not responsible of any injury of person rescued."

"Dude, really?!" Marcus mumbled.

"Leo! I can't believe that you would do that?!" Bree demanded.

"I cannot believe no one told me we were on tv!" Adam complained. "You're charging people for missions, where's my cut!"

"Because that last time we did, you got your head stuck on a No-Thanks-To-You Thanksgiving turkey!" Boz mumbled. "I swear, I still have that weirded out image in my mind."

"And two, we do not charge for missions!" Chase corrected. "Do we?"

"You don't! it's voluntary deeds!" Johan answered.

"Relax, it's just a little commercial." Leo tried to calm them out, but Mikayla was reaching out for her machete.

"Ooh! Here's the Spanish one!" Leo cheered as he played the Spanish version of the Dooley Bionic Service.

"There's two?" Janelle frowned at Leo.

"Well, three, I'm still working on the Chinese commercial for my friends." Leo answered.

"Excuse me for a while, Douglas asked me to visit him at the Inventions' Room." Hilo excused himself and went off.

After a while…

"Hey Mr. Douglas, how's it going?" Jones asked, walking in with his sister Tracy, Spin, Bob, Milton, Jerry, Janelle, Hilo, George and Fate.

"Have you invent something that's useful to the academy and won't scar us for life?" Spin asked.

"It's all still too dangerous!" Douglas sighed. "The only thing I have so far is this Nerf Gas, which only eats half your brain!"

"Can I try?" Bob asked.

"No, your brain might come pouring out of your nose like a slushie." Tracy frowned at her Bionic adopted siblings.

"Put that in the tab." Janelle frowned. "This is hopeless…"

"I know! If Uncle Doug doesn't get promoted to teacher any time soon, we'll be studying Daven-ology for a year! [Daven-ology is a parody version of psychology]" George added.

"The thought just give you chills!" Tracy shuddered with Jones.

"Hey, maybe we can help and come up with a plan? I'm an inventor and I'm fairly good." Milton offered.

"Ooh! Maybe we can make a metal box that pops up bread that is crispy so you can put butter on it!" Bob suggested.

"That would be a toast box and it's already invented!" George frowned.

"What about a machine that brings you from the first floor to the second floor?" Bob asked, tailing Douglas.

"Elevator, already invented." Douglas replied.

"Then what about stairs that move?" Bob asked.

"Escalator." Tracy answered.

"Stairs that don't move?" Bob asked.

"Stairs!" Jones answered.

"You know I have one for you, how about something that drives annoying people away?" Douglas suggested.

"I like it! what's it called?" Bob asked.

"Hydro Loop." Douglas pushed the blonde boy into the Hydro Loop as the chute moved away.

"He'll be back…he always comes back." Spin commented.

"He has to! We've got a test tomorrow!" Tracy mumbled.

Switch scenes…

The Mission Board popped out a few more different missions.

"What are we going to do now?" Marcus asked. "5 new more!"

"Yeah, and all of them are around the globe!" Sakura observed.

"I told you we should have opened a Canadian branch!" Adam added.

"AD." Sakura gave Adam a look.

"I doubt most of missions here aren't even an actual emergency!" Julie added, checking the website.

"Geez, Leo! No thanks to you, now all the world has access to the bionics." Sakura added. "Ugh!"

"What?" Bree asked.

"Stacy Summers has requested an 'emergency date' with Adam." Sakura growled. "This is war!"

"I thought you didn't like Adam?" Chase asked.

"It's not what I meant!" Sakura blushed red.

"What are we supposed to do?" Bree asked.

"I guess all we can do is let the authorities handle it." Chase concluded.

"And change the islands' phone number!" Sakura added. "I used to do that to avoid stalkers calling."

"No way! I made a promise to help them in 2 different languages! And I'm working on Chinese for my friends who live in China!" Leo defended.

"You speak Chinese?" Sakura's eyes widen. "All those times I thought you walked into the wrong classroom."

"Huh! And I walked into German once and here's all I can say. Sakura, Ich bin verrückt nach dir. (I'm crazy over you.)" Adam turned to Sakura.

"I don't speak German." Sakura blinked. "I took Chinese, Malay, English, Japanese, Spanish, Mexican, Dutch, and Irish. Looks like I beat you El Little!"

"When people call in, they expect Leo Dooley to show up!" Leo added.

"With bigger biceps." Julie added.

"Or just biceps." Sakura added.

"That's the 7th false alarm from Highland Hills!" Marcus ended the call.

"Fool me once, shame on you; fooled me 5, 6 times. I'm staying on!" Adam crossed his arms.

"I guess I'll go to Highland Hills alone! But I better hurry, the place is scary at night." Leo mumbled, leaving.

"And if you get lost, call this dude with big biceps, but prepare to be disappointed." Adam handed Leo the Dooley Bionic Service card.

"Wait, I'm going with you." Hilo and Sakura joined in.

"You are?" Leo asked.

"I never go anywhere without my sidekick." Sakura joked.

"You're my sidekick." Leo hissed.

"Just get going already!" Johan yelled.

Back to the others…

Bob had returned and was tailing after Douglas, Milton and his other friends.

"Or a machine that sprays cold air into a hot room?" Bob asked.

"Air conditioner Bob!" Douglas groaned.

"And I will not be inventing the auto mobile, a salad siding or beef stew!" Douglas added.

"Then what are you even doing here?!" Bob demanded.

Tracy, Fate, Milton and Jones were laughing behind.

"Told you he'd be back." Spin added.

"If he keeps this us, I'm going back to the dark side." Douglas mumbled.

"Take me with you!" Spin whined.

"You do that, I'll just travel to England." Jones admitted.

The students saw the mission alerts.

"There's too much!" Janelle said.

"We better answer some." Spin took the headphones.

"What do we do?" Bob asked.

"Just answer their questions, unless it is an actual mission, I say we gave the mission to our mentors." Tracy replied.

"Mission Alert Central, this is Jones speaking, how may I help you?" Jones answered.

Bob tapped Jones.

"What?" Jones asked.

"When do we go on break?" Bob asked.

"We'll take turns answering and each half an hour, we switch okay?" Janelle suggested.

After some time with Leo…

A helicopter was dangling at the edge of a building, 6 people were screaming, terrified and afraid.

Leo opened up the door and gasped in shock.

"I knew it, this is a legit mission!" Leo mumbled, quickly tossing his bags aside.

"Do not panic people, Leo Dooley is here!" Leo shouted. The passengers sighed in relief when they saw help.

"But I assume you all know me since you called me." Leo added as the helicopter dangled again sideways.

"Leo, what are you doing? Help them!" Sakura hissed.

"Right." Leo nodded, grabbing the helicopter's tail, stabilizing the helicopter.

"Okay, you are safe now." Hilo alerted.

"I'll go and get the people inside." Sakura volunteered, she went into the helicopter and reached for the first passenger. "It's okay, you are gonna be fine…"

Leo gripped the tail tight, but the helicopter was too heavy it lifted Leo up to his feet.

"You scream like a girl, El Little." Sakura shouted from one end.

"It was a girl's scream but it was a CONFIDENT girl scream." Leo corrected.

"Hilo, call for help now!" Sakura shouted.

"Okay." Hilo grabbed his phone and called for help.

Back with the students…

"Don't worry sir, you hamster's gonna be fine. Please hold." Spin stopped his call, before looking at Tracy, George, Fate, Jones, Milton and Bob. "Can a hamster get out of a sheepdog?"

"Please hold." Milton stopped his call. "I'm afraid you might need a surgery for that."

"Thanks." Spin thanked Milton before calling back the man with the eaten hamster.

"I'll tell you what, miss lady, you are an independent woman! You should break up with that cheater! You go girl!" Bob ended his call.

"I say you pick the Happy Meal D, it's got vanilla ice cream!" George ended the call.

"I'd be happy to pick you up sir, but you should pack up your bags and wait til I learn how to drive!" Fate ended her call.

"For the last time, this is not Pizza Hut!" Jones ended his call.

"I say you should choose 'Paper Towns' over that other movie with the sappy ending!" Tracy mumbled.

"I'm done with the fake phone calls. Hey what are you students doing here?" Chase asked.

"Helping out with the phony calls." Janelle replied.

"Are you kidding me? More phony calls?" Chase frowned.

"We're doing the best we can." Spin answered.

"Yeah! A few more calls here and we've got a Bionic Counselling Business!" Jones added with a tone of sarcasm.

"Here, give it a go. And fair warning, no one takes Mr. Finselberg anymore." Bob added.

"'Elio. This is Mr. Finselberg from Outside Germany." Adam tried an accent.

"Dude, really?" everyone eyed Adam.

"Ooh! I just got a text from Hilo." Adam checked his phone. "Can you read this for me?"

"It's from Leo, Sakura and Hilo! A helicopter is dangling and they're in trouble!" Chase panicked.

"Sounds like the boy who cried wolf." Marcus quoted.

"Sakura is stuck on the dangling helicopter with 6 other people!" Bree gasped.

"Sakura?!" Adam blushed red at the thought of his crush and dashed towards the Hydro Loop. "What are you guys doing? They're in danger!"

A few minutes later…

Adam, Bree, Chase, Marcus, Julie and Johan arrived at the scene.

"HELP!" Leo shouted.

"Be a man!" Sakura hissed.

Adam grabbed Leo and pulled him onto the floor. Marcus and Chase used Molecular Kinesis to stabilize the helicopter.

"Bree, Marcus, get everyone else down there now." Chase told Bree.

Bree used her super speed to rescue the passengers.

"Hold on! There's still a little kid here!" Sakura shouted, holding an infant in her arms as she passed it to Bree.

"All that's left is me." Sakura sighed.

Bree reached for Sakura when they got stuck.

"BREE! SAKURA!" Leo and Hilo dashed over and gripped them from falling.

"Thanks, Leo and Hilo." Bree sighed in relief.

"but you were partly why I almost died so I will haunt you when I die." Sakura added.

"That's everyone out." Marcus nodded.

"what about the helicopter?" Julie asked as everyone checked on the helicopter.

The helicopter had landed midroad and caught on fire.

"That winged creature is never going to fly again." Adam added.

"Poor, poor helicopter…" Sakura placed her hand on her heart.

"Wow, that news crew filmed the whole thing!" Hilo added.

"But isn't this what you wanted? Fame?" Bree asked.

"I did some thinking and we go for missions to save lives and not for fame." Leo nodded.

"Sounds mature." Johan laughed.

"and do you know that there's a 40 foot billboard with your face on it?" Julie added.

Everyone looked over.

"huh! And they told me I had to wait for 2 more weeks!" Leo smiled in pride.

"I must burn it." Sakura mumbled, glaring.

"Why?" Chase asked.

"BECAUSE I WAS LOOKING AT THAT BILLBOARD FOR THE PAST 20 MINUTES WHEN I WAS CLINGING TO DEATH!" Sakura yelled.

"THAT WAS 30 SECONDS AGO! LET IT GO!" Leo shouted back.

"Oh you wanna play rough one on one buddy?" Sakura asked.

The next day…

"So, after hearing what problems you have been through, I have finally invented something useful." Douglas told the students.

"Ooh! Is it an open space where you keep your clothes?" Bob asked.

"that is called a wardrobe." Milton replied.

"No, I took the Lie Detector technology and fused it into the Mission Alert, so when someone calls in, it will detect if the person is in a state of emergency." Douglas explained.

"Nice job!" "Way to go!" Hilo and Janelle clapped their hands.

"Okay, time for a break." Jones dusted his pants. "Leo, you're in charge of looking after Bob."

"How bad can it be?" Leo scoffed as everyone else went off.

Now poor old Leo has to answer Bob's annoying questions.

Date Night Special

Plot- When Bree decided that it's Couples' Night out at the Academy, it's all paired up for boys and girls. Johan tries to know Candis better by photography; Julie and Marcus get stuck in a closet; Adam tries to hint Sakura his feelings for her but Boz gets jealous; and Kim is trying to get Milton a date to let him move on from Julie (not Hamzah), his ex-girlfriend. There will be heartbreaks and couples will be formed, but you'll never know who'll be lucky to fall in love.

Stimulation Manipulation

Plot- Adam and Chase each lead their student groups against each other in a series of simulated exercises that will evaluate both student and mentor performance. Meanwhile, Leo and Hilo attempt to find the person who leaves the Mentor Quarters in a big mess.

Forbidden Hero

Plot- When Leo is injured during a mission, Tasha rushes to the academy to take care of him, and sees the danger that happens when her son is on missions. Meantime, Caitlin arrived at the island to visit Bree.

Spider Island

Plot- Douglas and Chase work together to reanimate an extinct species of sea spider. The spider escapes and puts the entire academy in jeopardy.

Spike vs Spikette

Plot- Bree and Chase discover that a female bionic student has a commando app like Chase. After she starts terrorizing the academy, they activate Spike to subdue her. Meantime, Leo, Adam, Hilo, and the Kings accidentally brought back a child from the mainland.

The Ultimate Crossover

Plot- When Chase and Davenport create a groundbreaking energy source with a new piece of technology, the Incapacitator from "Mighty Med" tricks Chase into thinking he's a potential buyer and takes off with the device. Chase is severely injured in the process so Kaz and Oliver take him to the "Mighty Med" hospital to treat him. Meanwhile,the KinKow gang, the Wasabi Warriors and the Bionics try to track down the Incapacitator before it's too late.

I know what you did Last Sunday [Season 4]

Plot- Right when Boz finally fitted in with everyone and almost forgot about his past, a certain person comes back to haunt him with the mistakes he had made back in Mindu

Plot- When KinKow starts to go broke, Lanny started dictating over everyone's money. But that's when 2 new mysterious heroes strike. Sirocco the Hot Wind of the Island and the other, Masked Mayhem. Tensions start to rise when Mikayla falls for Sirocco. What happens when Lanny meets his match with Perry who claims that she can do much better at dictating money than Lanny [Can anyone guess who are the two heroes?]
