The well-built senior sprinted across the freshly mown grass, skidding his way past players that were headed straight for him; clutching the almond-shaped ball close to his broad chest while doing so. He bit harder into the crimson mouthpiece-almost there. Just as he felt a large hand brush against his shoulder blade, he leapt towards his goal; the end zone. Cheers immediately bombarded into his ears, and he smiled, hearing the screams of the Fairies expressing their victory. He quickly threw the winning ball on the ground, tore his helmet off, spat out his mouthpiece. There in the bleachers, stood the blonde he couldn't stop thinking of every second of his life.

"Dragneel!-" he heard the ref shout from behind him, put he waved him off with a lazy grin. He bolted up the bleachers, and quickly grabbed the young woman by the waist, hoisting her into the air.

"Natsu!" she shrieked through harmonious giggles, and wrapped her thin arms around his neck. He answered her silent request by tilting his head up to look into her glistening doe eyes, and pressed his lips against hers through his face-splitting grin. She giggled after he broke the passionate kiss, but an eerie silence on their side of the bleachers cut her giggles and smiles short.

"Lu-Chan…?" a small voice peeped out, and Lucy immediately recognized it as her blue-haired friend. The couple had completely forgotten to tell the rest of their friends about their relationship. The brown-eyed woman shifted her gaze nervously onto her petite friend, giving her a sheepish smile as her boyfriend set her back onto the metallic floor of the bleachers.

"Lu-Chan are you and Natsu…? A thing?" she asked, and Lucy mentally noticed the smirk already finding its way into the corners of the girl's mouth.

"Eh, yeah… we kinda never really told anyone…" Lucy trailed off, her face tinted pink with embarrassment.

"'Bout time, Salamander," a gravelly voice mocked, and Natsu turned his attention to the large male coming up to join everyone, holding his helmet against his side. Before the male could retort an insult back to the dark-haired young adult, his blonde girlfriend shot him a warning look, and he slammed his mouth shut, knowing not to disobey her. Gajeel smirked, and mimicked the sound of a whip slash. Only to receive a glower from his own girlfriend. The girls continued chatting about relationships and the books they were reading while the men following close behind bickered to each other quietly, throwing whispered insults at each other and failing to notice the girls in front of them were listening to their lame insults.

"So Lu-Chan, when can I be expecting to be an auntie?" Levy inquired, seemingly pulling the question from thin air.

"What!?" The blonde sputtered, choking on an invisible beverage. After hearing the question, Natsu and Gajeel had stopped their bickering and tuned into the conversation.

"Yeah, what?" The pink-haired football player wondered aloud, and Levy released a small giggle from behind her porcelain-like hand.

"When can I be expecting for you two to be starting a family together?"

"Not any time soon that's for sure!" Lucy whined, her face flushed. Her boyfriend chuckled beside her as they continued to walk down the empty sidewalks. "What are you laughing about?"

"Your face, how it gets all red like that! And how you puff out your ch-yeah like that!"

"Shut up! My face doesn't get red!"
"Yeah, and I didn't score the winning touchdown," he scoffed, his arm subconsciously lowering, and his warm hand pressed against the small of her back. The four young adults continued that way, walking in a comfortable silence as they returned to their homes for the night.

"I'm so proud of you for winning the championships!"
"Why don't you give me a kiss to congratulate me?"

"Why don't you brush your teeth first?"
