Listen up Slytherin! It's time to give the first years there speech. Yes, the speech now sit down.

First off never ever trust anyone. Not until they have proven them self's over and over again. Do you understand? You cant even trust the people you know the best. Trust is dangerous. Trust can be your downfall. So instead of being like those crazy Gryffindor's and going straight into battle. Stop and think what your going to do.

Don't run in and start throwing curses. No, that's reckless. If your going to duel a full grown wizard then get the hell out of there. Its now cowardly like the other houses will call you if they found ot about this. Its sensible. There is no way you'll come out alive.

You want to know something? Before the dark lord came along every one wanted to be a Slytherin. It was an honor to be in Slytherin. Why do you think we pride are self's in it?

Lets make this clear,

If you were sorted into Ravenclaw, you'd know a lot. But that doesn't make you smart.

If you were sorted into Hufflepuff, you'd be loyal. But loyalty isn't always a good thing. Sometimes its the worst thing.

If you were sorted into Griffiandor, you'd be brave. But reckless. You don't think things through.

But, you were sorted into Slytherin. The house were we are brave, not reckless. The house were we are smart, and have common sense. The house were loyalty isn't earned easily. There are no rules only guide lines.

I refuse to believe that all Slytherins left at Hogwarts during the final battle. I /REFUSE/ to believe that everyone in Slytherin supported Voldemort or didn't care enough to help. Slytherin is to big of a house to only be filled with purebloods. There were probably many in that house who did not follow the ideals a man who probably want to see them dead, so why weren't any of the represented in the end? I love this series, but I don't love the black/white concept.
