EDIT: I've changed my mind because my muse is a b*tch. The sequel is called Emerald Storm and is underway.

Friends, I have been back and forth about this so much. I had a sequel planned. I have the name and even started writing it. Then I scrapped it and walked away for a few months. And then I started again, and deleted it one chapter into the sequel. I re-plotted the story, tried to start again, and stared at the computer screen for an hour today. No matter how I spin it, no matter how much emotion and darkness I have Emma falling into (and as you know me, there is plenty), there is absolutely no way to continue this story without destroying the poignancy of both Emma and Regina's sacrifices. Sometimes it hurts to when we love too much, and love, True Love knows when to let go and when to hold on.

There is no way Emma can win Regina's love and bring back The Queen without causing her untold pain of remembering Cora's abuse for 30 years in the alternate timeline. And if that wasn't enough, The Queen died a hero, and for Emma to undo that would simply be selfish. No, Robin may not break any curses, but he makes Regina happy. The Savior will always sacrifice her own happiness for the ones she loves.

And there, my dear readers, I must leave this story.

I might change my mind in the future and come back to this with fresh eyes and new understanding, but I thought you at least deserved the courtesy of a definite answer. If you want to stay up to date on what I'm working on, a few of you have asked for a twitter handle, so I delivered. You can find me under the name AmberwritesWV on Twitter.
