"Baby?" Olivia called as she entered their dark apartment. She tried to flick on the light but it didn't light up. "Not again." She whined, tip toeing to try and find her way through the apartment.

"Fitz?" She called again, wondering where he could be.

For the past few weeks, he had been home every time she came back from work and she had to admit it was really nice.

When they came back from their honeymoon 6 months before, Fitz had given his letter of resignation to his firm. They had tried to fight him on it, offering him more money, a bigger office, more responsibilities and even offered him a position as junior partner but he declined it all. Getting Olivia's support had been the last push he needed to make yet another change in his life.

He had had his fair share of doubts the next few weeks, wondering if he had made the right decision many times, wondering if it was fair for Olivia to carry them financially, wondering if he was being selfish or if he would ever find a job that truly satisfied him.

But Olivia had been there every time to coach him through his doubts. She had refused every time he offered to get back to work so they could make more money. They weren't in any danger but they had had to put the brakes on a lot of expenses since they had only one salary.

But Olivia never once cared about that. All she wanted was for her husband to be happy and that would not be possible if he went back to a job that didn't fulfill him. So she put on a brave face, worked hard and focused on all the good things they had in their life.

"Fiiitz?" She called again as she walked toward their bedroom. "I think the light bulb broke again, did you talk to the landlord?"

She stopped in her steps when she entered the bedroom to find it empty. The flickering lights coming from the bathroom piqued her curiosity and she dropped her purse on the chair before opening the door. The sight welcoming her had her heart bursting with love for the wonderful man that she was lucky enough to call hers.

The bathroom was lit by a hundred candles, a bath was drawn, with scented oil if her nose didn't deceive her and a platter was resting on a nearby table with wine glasses and strawberries.

Fitz was standing awkwardly by the bathtub, a sheepish look on his face as he nervously played with his fingers. "Surprise..." he announced nervously.

"What is all this?" Olivia asked, a smile of awe on her face, as she walked up to him. It still surprised her how her body was always beckoned to his whenever they were in the same room.

"Well it is several things..." He started as he wrapped his arms around her and inhaled her hair. "I wanted to do something nice for you. You have been absolutely amazing these past months. You have been nothing but supportive, never complaining..."

"Fitz..." She tried to interrupt him.

"Let me finish." He asked as he held her at arms length and looked straight into her eyes waiting until she nodded before continuing. "I never, in a million years, could have hoped for a better partner in life. You always show me so much love and support, you never complain. You're 8 years younger than me but you always seem so calm and mature. You make me feel like I could do anything but yet manage to also keep me grounded. You're everything and I am nothing and I can only thank you through little meaningless gestures like this one."

"Fitz..." Olivia breathed, choking on her tears. "I- I don't know what to say... I just love you so much and what you see in me as being exceptional is just me loving you. And you make it so easy..."

"Shhh... please don't cry. I can't take it when you cry."

"It's your own damn fault." Olivia answered sniffling and slapping his arm. "Why do you have to be so sweet?"

"Sorry." Fitz laughed kissing her nose and wrapping her in a bear hug. "It's not the only reason to celebrate tonight." He smiled against her hair after a few minutes of hugging her.

"It's not?" Olivia asked, rubbing her eyes.

"It's not." He confirmed. His million dollar smile lighting up the room. "I found a job..."

"You did?" Olivia exclaimed hopping up and down in his arms. "What is it? Tell me, tell me, tell me!"

Fitz could only laugh at her excitement. "I did. There's a shelter for homeless teenagers a few blocks from here. They need counselors. I figured with my experience as a teacher and a lawyer, I could really do some good. The kids there have had a rough childhood, were rejected by their families or just feel completely lost and I really feel like I could do some good in their lives... What do you think?"

"Fitz! That's amazing! I know you can do some great things there!"

"I have to admit, the pay is pretty bad there and I won't be able to contribute much to our life."

"Who cares?" Olivia exclaimed. "You'll be changing lives. I can more than make money for the both of us. This is so exciting! I'm so happy for you baby!" She smiled, leaning up to kiss his cheek.

"See? This is why I love you so much! You always put me first."

"Of course." She answered softly. "I love you, silly. All that matters to me is your happiness."

Fitz had no words to answer to that so he chose to kiss her instead. He kissed her as if his life depended on it, sucking on her plump lips until he couldn't breathe.

"Come on, your bath is getting cold and I owe you a massage..." He smiled, taking off her clothes.

"Livvie, you really don't have to do that, you know?" Fitz said softly, tying up his shoes as Olivia was putting on one of his favorite sweaters. It was a white v-neck cashmere sweater that contrasted beautifully with her skin and her ebony locks. She let them hang free these days, beautiful locks surrounding her cheekbones.

Watching her from his seat he felt the familiar feeling of tenderness he had every time she did something domestic around him.

"I know I don't have to." She smiled walking up to him and rearranging his collar. "But I want to. It's your first day meeting the people of the shelter as a counselor. It's an important step and I want to be there for you."

Fitz' hands moved to caress her hips and he smiled up at her, touched by how supportive she was.

If he was honest with himself, he was really nervous about today. He didn't have a clue what to expect it how people would react to him, especially the kids. They were kids who lived through rough moments and he was afraid he wouldn't be able to reach them or help them. He was also afraid of how the other volunteers and employees would react. Would they see him as the entitled guy who was trying to buy himself a conscience or would they accept that he genuinely wanted to do some good?

Having Olivia with him meant a lot to him and calmed his nerves as only her presence could.

"Thank you." He answered simply, kissing the back of her hand and getting up to grab their coats.

The drive to the shelter was quiet but comfortably so. They held hands and smiled at each other every so often. When they parked, Fitz stared at the building for a few seconds before inhaling deeply and turning to Olivia to smile at her.

"It's gonna be fine." Olivia assured him. "They're gonna love you because you're awesome and lovable. I know a little something about that." She chuckled. "And I know you are going to fit right in and do some great things."

Fitz looked at her, a goofy look on his face, amazed at how she was able to sense his insecurities and dissipate them. He kissed her forehead softly, caressing her cheek with the back of his hand before unbuckling his belt and getting out of the car as she did the same.

As they entered the building, a man saw them and walked up to them with a big smile.

"Fitz!" He said as he shook his hand. "Thank you for being here. I can't even begin to tell you how much we need you and your expertise."

"Thanks for letting me be a part of what you do, Francisco. Livvie, this is Francisco Marquez, he is directing this shelter. Francisco, this is my wife Olivia Pope-Grant."

"Nice to meet you, Olivia. Are you taking your husband to his first day of school?" He joked shaking her hand.

"Yeah, I was afraid he would get lost." She joked back. "It's very nice to meet you too Francisco."

"Hey cut it off you two!" Fitz protested.

"Okay, why don't I give you two a tour of the facilities. Fitz, you've already seen most of it but I can take you to your office and introduce you to everyone on the way."

"Sounds good." Fitz nodded, taking Olivia's hand in his and following Francisco.

Francisco took them on a tour of the facilities, explaining to Olivia how they worked and what a typical day looked like. They met the other volunteers who all warmly welcomed Fitz and told him how much they needed his law background. They met a few teens too but they mostly went their own way. Francisco explained they often didn't warn up until seeing people a few times.

At the end of the tour, Francisco showed Fitz his office. "I know it's probably smaller than what you're used to but it's close to everyone and everything you'll need."

"It's perfect." Fitz reassured him. "I don't need much."

"Good." Francisco smiled. "There already are a few files on your desk, it's mostly applications for emancipation for which we need an expert opinion. We can go over them together after you're settled. Olivia are you staying with us?"

"No, I have to go back to the office. I just wanted to see this place. And I have to admit I'm impressed, you're doing something awesome here."

"We try out best." Francisco answered humbly. "It was great to meet you, I hope we'll see you again soon."

"You surely will." She smiled at him.

Francisco left the office and Olivia turned to Fitz. "I'm so proud of you." She beamed at him.

"I haven't done anything yet." Fitz answered shyly.

"But I know you will. I'm glad I came today." She answered, hugging him around the waist.

"Me too. Thanks for being here with me." He answered wrapping her up in his arms. "Come on, I'll walk you to the car."

At 9pm that night, Olivia entered the apartment, immediately smelling Fitz' famous curry chicken.

She walked in and found him making himself busy in the kitchen. "Hey you." She walked up to him, chuckling at how he looked in her pink apron. "Something smells amazing."

"Hmmm, you do." He answered, wrapping one arm around her and kissing her neck.

"Correct answer." She laughed, pulling back and kissing his lips. "How was your first day?"

"Busy but great." He answered enthusiastically, turning off the gas under the pots. "There's a lot of work to be done and those kids..." He sighed. "What they've been through? I can't believe some of the cases. But the team is amazing and we can do some real change. On a small scale but still important work. I'm really excited."

"I'm glad."She raised up on her toes and kissed his shoulder. "And I'm famished. Let me take a shower before devouring that chicken." She kissed his chin and trotted out of the kitchen.

"What are you looking at?" Olivia asked as she slipped under the covers next to Fitz who was reading on his iPad.

"Just reading some emails." He answered, shutting off the tablet and turning on his side to wrap Liv in his arms. "Lisa wants to come to Boston for the kids holidays next week."

"Great. I miss the little monsters. Will they be staying here?"

"Lis wanted to find a hotel but I told her there was no way."

"Good, I want to see them as much as possible. I miss my Logan hugs and my tea parties with Sarah."

"Hmm someone's experiencing a case of the Momma fever." Fitz teased, tickling her neck with his nose.

"Shut up!" Olivia snorted, burying her face in his neck.

"It's cute. I can't wait to get you pregnant."

"Yeah?" Olivia asked smiling as she pulled back to look him in the eyes.

"Oh yeah, the idea of you carrying my kids is a major turn on. Well... That and the idea of your boobs and your ass getting bigger." He smirked squeezing her ass.

"I can't believe it." Olivia sighed dramatically. "I married a frat boy..."

"You married a man who appreciates your body." Fitz countered kissing her neck sensually, his hands slipping lower to move between her legs, one hand moving to caress her stomach just above her panty line. "I never heard you complaining before." He teased as his mouth moved lower, one hand pushing down the spaghetti strap on her shoulder, the other moving inside her panties, making her moan. "And I don't hear much of a complaint right now." Olivia involuntarily pushed her chest against his fave and bucked her hips against his fingers.

"Certainly not from your body... you're really wet, Kitten."

"Fitz..." She moaned as his fingers entered her. "I want you..."

"Do you, now? I'm not sure you're ready for me yet." He seized her lips as his thumb applied pressure to her clit and groaned when she bit his lip in response. He rolled over her and moved his mouth to bite her neck lightly.

"You're a feisty little kitten aren't you?" He groaned licking his way to her ear.

In a move that surprised him, Olivia hooked her leg behind his and rolled him on his back, landing on top of him.

"I know what I want." She answered feistily as she sat up and took off her top before attacking his boxers and gripping him in her slender hands.

"You certainly do." He moaned throwing his head back on his pillow and closing his eyes, twitching in her hands.

Olivia leaned down, seized his earlobe between her lips and whispered. "And what I want is Big Fitz inside me. Right now."

Fitz growled at he words. "Oh he wants that too, believe me."

Olivia rose up on her knees and moved her panties to the side before sinking down on him slowly.

She moaned and threw her head back, her fingers digging in his hard pecs as his hands moved to her hips. After a few strokes, they found their rhythm and Fitz sat up, his mouth moving to her breast to suck hungrily.

The pressure only increased Olivia's pleasure and she sped up her rhythm as his fingers moved to her clit once again. "More..." She moaned.

Fitz moved his mouth to her other breast and gave it the same treatment, sucking and biting lightly as he bucked his hips.

"I-I'm so close. Please... oh please don't stop..." Olivia begged.

Fitz increased the pace of his fingers on her bundle of nerves and felt her starting to clench around him. He had to focus in order not to release before her. He opened his eyes to look up at her, his tongue still playing with her hard nipples and after a few more thrusts, she exploded around him, moaning loudly.

Only then did he allow himself to let go. He closed his eyes and but down on her sensitive peak, prolonging her orgasm as he spilled inside her.

They both collapsed on the bed, breathless, Fitz' hands caressing her back and Olivia kissing his neck.

He rolled on his side so they could snuggle more comfortably before reaching on the bedside table for the wipes to clean them up.

"You know..." Olivia mused as Fitz settled back next to her. "If you get me pregnant, you won't be able to do that. My breasts will be too sore..."

"I'm sure I'll find something else to do with my mouth." He chuckled, tucking her head under his chin.

"I'm sure you will." She answered kissing the hollow at the base of his throat and succumbing to slumber.

Ahem... *shyly waves* Hello? Anybody remember me?

I feel like I'm giving that speech at the end of every chapter but this time it's really been forever (7 months... Yikes!) I'm sorry for the looooong delay.

I have stopped watching the show at the beginning of this season, I just feel like it lost all the elements that made me love it in the beginning and the characters that I loved so much just don't make sense to me anymore, they're not even coherent. But anyway, that doesn't mean this story has to stop, that's the great thing about fanfics, I can write them however I like.

This chapter is more of a filler and for the next chapters, I'll probably do time jumps to different moments in their lives so that I can go straight to the good stuff and hopefully not get stuck trying to write the in-between. I hope that won't be too disturbing for readers.

Anywho, I really hope you liked this chapter! Thank you so much for reading and sticking with me and reviewing and checking up on me, you guys rock!

Cheers,

C.
