It's Christmas morning at the Montgomery house, and a very special one for Aria, because for whatever magical reason, her parents actually let Ezra spend the night...in the guest room of course. Ella and Byron had come to an agreement so Aria and Ezra could spend Christmas morning together. However, as expected, the whole Ezra staying in the guest room part didn't last too long. It was Aria who sent him a text in the middle of the night, a phone call may have risked someone hearing the conversation, after 2 hours of tossing and turning without Ezra by her side. Ezra was quick to respond, not being able to sleep either.

*11pm Christmas Eve*

[Aria]

"Can't even begin to sleep knowing you're just down the hall and not in my arms."

Ezra smiles at her sweet message.

[Ezra]

"Neither can I. So close yet so far."

[Aria]

"Come join me? Pretty please?"

[Ezra]

"Well, since you asked so nicely. ;) And truth is, it just may be the only way either of us get any sleep tonight!"

[Aria] *chuckles*

"Ha, agreed! See you soon, babe. :)"

Ezra tiptoes light as possible out of the guest bedroom and soon joins Aria in her bed.

"Well now I'm not so lonely." Aria says smiling as Ezra walks though her door.

"Happy to be of service, Miss Montgomery." Ezra whispers, climbing in bed next to her and wrapping her securely in his arms.

"Miss Montgomery. Role playing, are we, Fitz?"

"If your parents weren't in the next room, we would be. Give me a rain check on that one?" Ezra answers, pecking her face.

"Ok. But you owe me, Fitz." Aria says, kissing his nose.

"My pleasure." Ezra says, pressing a gentle, tender kiss onto her lips.

Smiling, Aria turns her back to Ezra and settles into her pillow and into his embrace behind her.

"Goodnight, my gorgeous Aria." Ezra whispers, pressing a kiss behind her ear.

"Goodnight, my love."

*9am Christmas morning*

The sun comes poking through Aria's window, waking her gently. Her stirs soon wake Ezra, still with his arms firmly wrapped around her.

"Good morning, babe. Aria smiles, running her hand through Ezra's hair.

"Merry Christmas." Ezra smiles back, kissing her good morning.

"Merry Christmas, babe. I can't wait till you see what I got you!" Aria says, beaming.

"Well, by the look on your face it must be good. But I've already got everything I need." He smiles, brushing her cheek.

"Yeah. Me too." She smiles back, staring into his eyes.

"I love you, Aria."

"I love you too."

"Come on. Let's try to beat everyone downstairs." Aria says.

They climb out of bed and tiptoe to the door. Aria slowly opens the door with Ezra right behind her.

As Aria steps out into the hall, with Ezra clearly in sight, she comes face to face with her mother.

"Mom!" Aria says, wide-eyed.

Well now she just made Christmas incredibly awkward, Aria thinks to herself.

Ella just looks at the couple and smiles, "Merry Christmas, you two."

Aria breathes a sigh of relief, "Merry Christmas, Mom."

"Merry Christmas, Ella." Ezra chimes in.

"I was just going to make breakfast for everyone. I'll see you two downstairs." Ella says, continuing down the hall and to the stairs.

Before making her way down, Ella turns back to Aria's doorway. "It's okay, really. I trust you. ...Both of you."

"Thanks, Mom." Aria smiles at her Mom's acceptance of her and Ezra's relationship.

Ella smiles at the two and makes her way down to the kitchen.

"It's a Christmas miracle." Aria says.

"It certainly is." Ezra replies.

They share a smile and a tender kiss before going downstairs to help Ella with breakfast.

This was about to be an unforgettable Christmas.
