Yes, I know it's been three months since the update. I was having some personal issues that I needed dealing. But it's been dealt with for now. And for that, I apologize for the latecoming of this chapter. So finally, it is done. You can read more about my thoughts on writing this story at the end of the chapter. So for now, I hope you enjoy reading.
Fumizuki, A New Student & A New Start
Disclaimer: I don't own Baka To Test
Standing outside the Fumizuki Academy gates during a chill autumn morning stood a young man dressed in the academy's uniform in a slightly unkempt fashion. He has one hand on of his bag's strap while the other is holding a notice that said the following:
12/10/2012
To Daisuke Ahmad,
Effective 14/10/2012, you will be a student at our prestigious Fumizuki Academy. Mr. Nishimura will be waiting for you outside to hand you your class placement results. Once you do, he will take you to your homeroom teacher of the class you are placed in.
On behalf of everyone, we welcome you to Fumizuki Academy. We look forward to have you in our academy and we hope you will have a pleasant time here.
Regards,
Kaoru Todō
Principal of Fumizuki Academy
"Well, here I am. But I don't see Nishimura-sensei anywhere," Daisuke looks around while he yawns as he puts the note inside his pocket. Daisuke had to get up real early to meet with Nishimura-sensei before the students come.
"Ah, Daisuke. There you are. Sorry for being a bit late"
Daisuke turns his sight to the school gates and saw a tall, well built man sporting with a military-style haircut.
"Nishimura-sensei. It's nice to see you again," Daisuke bowed.
"Likewise, Daisuke. Well, I got your class placement results here and… I have to be honest, when I first saw you coming in and read about your background, I expected you to be in Class E because that's where most of the sports students are. But let me tell you when some of the faculty members saw the results, we were stunned. So, here it is," Nishimura-sensei hands Daisuke the envelope.
Daisuke opens the envelope holding his breath as he hopes to get the class he wanted. He pulls out the piece of paper detailing his score results and when his eyes saw his class placement, he looks at Nishimura-sensei surprised as he clutches the paper.
"Seriously?! I… I got it?!" Daisuke stammered. Nishimura sensei nodded with a content smile
"Yes. Congratulations, Daisuke. You are in Class 2-A. We have high hopes for you,"
Daisuke couldn't believe it. He got into the best class. He shook Nishimura-sensei's hand with both of his own in gratitude.
"Thank you, sensei. It's a real honor,"
"The pleasure is ours, Daisuke. Now, let's not waste anytime and let me introduce to you your homeroom teacher in the faculty office. Oh, and Daisuke?"
"Yes?"
"You might want to tuck your shirt in," Nishimura points to the bottom of Daisuke's shirt. Daisuke looked down and proceeded to tuck it in.
"Oh, sorry," Daisuke said with a sheepish smile. Just as Nishimura-sensei turned his back, Daisuke scowled.
"I'll take it out once the coast is clear,"
Nishimura-sensei guides Daisuke into the school and makes way to the faculty office where a few teachers are already inside preparing today's lesson. He then guided Daisuke to the table of one woman with pink hair tied into a bun with a unique static M-shaped spiky bangs and wearing glasses.
"Hey, Youko, I've bought your new student," Nishimura-sensei said.
"Thanks Souichi. I'll take it from here," Takahashi-sensei said. Nishimura-sensei takes his leave.
Daisuke's POV
Inner monologue time. The name's Daisuke Ahmad. Half Japanese, Half Malaysian. I just came back to Japan about a month ago after spending a chunk of my pre-teen years back in Malaysia. Why did I go back to Japan? I have a few reasons. Firstly it's to achieve my dreams. What is my dream? Well…
"Daisuke Ahmad. Born March 5th, spent elementary and junior, or rather, half of secondary school back in Malaysia. Currently living alone. And according to this, you are also training to become a pro wrestler for Old Japan Pro Wrestling?" Takahashi-sensei said as she adjusted her spectacles to see if she read that part right.
"Yes, ma'am. I'm also obligated to tell you from Old Japan that should my test scores are not satisfactory, I would be expelled from the dojo," I informed Takahashi-sensei.
Yep. I aim to be one of the best pro-wrestlers in Japan and who knows, maybe the whole world. It's not gonna be easy, but I know that I want to be on this path and determined to see this through the end.
"I see. Glad that they made sure their students' education is on the uptake. So anyway, let me be the first to say, welcome to Fumizuki Academy," Takahashi-sensei stood up smiling.
"Oh, the pleasure is mine, sensei. I look forward to it," I bowed.
If it was possible, I would've put my efforts to getting passable level. But I had to get my scores to Class A-level. I simply had to. It's not to make anyone proud. Let's just say I did it because of something personal.
"With pleasantries out of the way, let me show you around and where your classroom is,"
Just as we're about to leave, I noticed a middle-aged woman with medium-length black hair and also wearing glasses having some sort of dark aura around her while muttering something ominous. I had to ask Takahashi-sensei about her.
"Uh, sensei… Is she Ok?" I whispered while dropping a sweat.
Takahashi-sensei turns around and immediately made a panicked look.
"Uh, uh, yeah. She's Ok. She's fine. She is just having one of those days," Takahashi-sensei said in a tremulous voice.
"Are you sure? She looked depressed. Should we-"
"It's fine. Just leave her alone. Now, let's go!"
Before I could say anything, Takahashi-sensei dragged me out of the faculty office by the hand, in which made me yelp. Well, that was weird. I thought sensei looks one of those dignified types and not be fazed by almost anything. That's the first impression I got when I first met her. Oh, well.
Anyways, I followed Takahashi-sensei around where she showed me where the cafeteria, the assembly hall, etc as she explained what the academy is all about. The explanation mostly includes the Summoner Test War (Or otherwise known as the Exam Summoning Battle, take your pick on whatever you want to call it), its beginnings, the motivation behind it and whatnot. Basically a class can challenge another class and students face off by summoning 'Beasts' as long as there is a teacher to summon an ESB field. The ESB field subject depends on the teacher who summoned said field in the first place and your health & firepower is also dependent on how you score on that subject in your last taken exam. If you're low on health, you can take a recovery exam to well, recover your health. Once you think you recovered enough, you're back in the war. However, whoever gets 'KIA' will be sent to remedial classes.
I think it can be a fun way to determine your strength, but I think that depends on who is summoning that field. If that field subject happens to be your weak point, it's been nice knowing you. However, the rewards are worth it if your class wins as you get either better equipment or exchange classrooms with the losing class.
Got to say, the academy is quite impressive. Though the old wing seems a little suspect. The fact that the whole place can be used for a Summoner Test War opens up possibilities for strategies. The first-year classrooms seem normal. It's the second-year onwards where it stands out. I can tell the difference just by looking at how their sign and doors look. One classroom that stood out was Class 2-F and it stood out for the wrong reasons. Sign broken in half and sliding doors showing wear and tear. Damn, can't imagine how it looks inside.
"Daisuke, are you OK?"
Takahashi-sensei's voice snapped me out of my thoughts.
"W-what? Oh, sorry sensei. I'm fine. Just… curious about 2-F's surroundings," My eyes wander back to Class 2-F's door.
"Yes. That's where the students with awful scores are put. Be careful when you interact with them,"
"Why? Because they cause trouble?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Yes. When you put it that way," Takahashi-sensei continues to walk ahead. I slowly follow suit as I took a glance one last time at the 2-F door.
A few moments later, we arrived at Class 2-A's door and goddamn, this puts first-class to a whole new level! I see reclining chairs, food and drinks and even an enormous plasma screen TV?! Should a classroom be fitted with all this at all?!
"Sensei… Is this really a classroom? Because I'm seeing a first-class airline lounge instead," I asked while having my hands on the window with eyes wide open like an owl's.
"Yes. I can assure you it is. We make sure that the highest scorers are properly rewarded. Our top 10 students test scores are so high, they can even form their own class to take on the rest of their classmates," Takahashi-sensei softly smiled.
I mean, I get it. The better your test scores, the better your classroom is. But this is just insane! The difference between Class 2-A and Class 2-B's resources is big! And this will be my class?! How do they afford-
Oh, right. Prioritize the budget to reward the highest scorers while the bottom ranked students barely gets anything, duh!
"Are there any questions?" Takahashi asked as she slightly adjusted her glasses.
Personally, I do have one just to confirm something. But, I don't want sensei to misunderstand things. How do I word this? Hmm… Aha! Got it!
"These top 10 students… Anyone I should know?" I looked at sensei. If my guess is spot on, she will be among those 10 students.
"Firstly, there's the class representative, Shouko Kirishima. If you need any more help, she can guide you further. If she happens to not be in, you can also approach the class ambassador. Her name is…"
An hour later
Students finally arrive at the academy, bracing themselves for another school day. For one girl, she just wants to get the day over with. She has dark green eyes short-medium light brown hair whose bangs are held up by a hairpin. She makes her way into Class 2-A.
Yuuko's POV
I walked in into the class as usual and saw a familiar shade of green sitting on one of the chairs as she checked her phone.
"Good morning, Aiko,"
"Oh, good morning Yuuko-chan," She greeted back with a smile.
She is Aiko Kudou. She is a bit unpredictable in my opinion. However, when it comes to sports, that's where she will really excel. After all, she is part of the swim team. As a result, her score in Physical Education is the highest among the rest of the subjects.
I placed my items on my table. As I done that, I noticed the murmurs are a little louder than usual.
"A new student? At this time?" A feminine voice said
"Yeah. But what made this guy impressive was that he got in Class A after the class placement exams. He must be pretty amazing," A deep male voice told his opinion.
My ears perked up as I glanced at them just behind my shoulder at them with an odd curious look. A new student? In our class? I wonder if Aiko knows more about it. I went back to where I just saw her in a brisk pace.
"Hey, Aiko. What's this about a new student?" I sat down opposite of her.
"Hm? Oh, yeah. There is! Interesting, isn't it? A few students were able to see a glimpse of him and from what I heard from a few girls, he's quite hot. Oh, and he's also training to become a pro-wrestler" Aiko exclaimed as she closed her phone.
Forgetting the 'quite hot' comment, I raised my eyebrow. That… That is pretty unique. It's not often you hear about a smart person that also excels in athletic activities. Then again, I'm looking at a great example right in front of me.
"Really? Well, as long as he represents the class and the academy properly. Unlike those Class F idiots. Tch,"
Class F… Just hearing their name makes my blood boil in anger as I gripped my arm with force. Our second battle with them was a farce. While we may have won, the antics they pulled should be shameful. It was embarrassing for us, me especially, to almost fall to defeat because of their shenanigans.
Not only that, they have the audacity to use my idiot twin brother to mimic me to provoke Class C into a battle with us so they can save their own skin? These shameless people should be expelled.
"C'mon, you're still upset with that? We won, Ok? That matters in the end. And besides, once you get to know them, they are pretty good people," Aiko argues. Her voice snapped me out of my thoughts.
"Hmm… I rather eat bugs," I said with some venom in my voice. I sighed as I try to calm down. I scanned around the room and I noticed someone missing. That's strange. Where is she?
"Aiko, where's the Class Rep?"
"Shouko-chan? She's-"
Before she could complete that, a shrilling scream rung my ears. I scratched the inside of my ears as I try to regain my sense of hearing. I realized it came from the other end of the floor.
"She's visiting the Class F rep…" Aiko deadpanned.
"Figures," I still don't understand what the Class Rep sees in that guy. He's the one that came up with those ridiculous ideas and yet, she still loves him despite all he has done. Wait, calm down, Yuuko. It's still early in the morning. Then, the familiar sound of the bell ringing signals the start of the first period.
"And there's the bell. We're going to be introduced to the new student shortly. Can't wait!" I can see the gleam in Aiko's eyes. Sometimes, I admire her cheerfulness.
To be honest, I find the talk about a new student unproductive. I prefer to see him and judge him based on my eyes to see what he truly is.
Moments later, we all took our seats with our homeroom teacher, Takahashi-sensei now standing in front of us.
"As you might have heard by now, a new student will be joining us so let's all give him a warm welcome. You can come in now,"
The class door opens as we all looked at its direction and we were able to see the new student. I got a good look at him and… Wait…
I made a short gasp and my eyes became twice its size. No… It… It can't… It can't be him. That boy… He has the same black hair, the way his bangs covered his left eye and that distinct dark shade of blue that mirrors the deep blue sea in his uncovered eye. But the feature that hit me the most was that small thin diagonal scar that arches from just inside the uncovered eyebrow to just above it.
My breath suddenly felt labored as I clutched my chest to try in vain to calm my palpitating heart. I kept my anxious and undeviating sight on him. He steps on the stage in front of us. Is it really him….?
"May you please introduce yourself to your new classmates?"
Sensei cued him in. He puts his hand on his chest and bows to the class.
"Selamat Pagi. My name is Daisuke Ahmad. Pleased to make your acquaintance,"
That has all confirmed it as the world around me came to a stop. I… I can't believe it. He's back. He really is here. I swear I could hear my spirit shattering like glass deep within me. Then I realized something watery is on my cheeks. I touched my soaked face and used my fingers to trace where it came from, only to find that it came from my eyes. Was I… Was I crying? Why am I…?
This makes no sense! Why is this happening?! Why is he back?! What am I supposed to think? Just what am I actually feeling right now?!
Aiko's POV
Wow. He really is quite handsome as the rumors suggested. He has a tinge of brown to his complexion and I could feel his mysterious aura oozing, though not as mysterious as Tsuchiya-kun. Just for fun, I looked beside me to gauge Yuuko-chan's reaction to the new student, expecting to be unfazed by the uproar. But what I saw almost knocked me off my chair.
Is she… Is she crying?! It can't be. There's no way…
"Yuuko-chan?" I whispered to get her attention. She didn't listen to me. She now looks at her fingers after they glanced her watery face.
"Yuuko-chan?!" I whispered a little louder. It got her attention this time as she looked towards me. I now have a good look of her face, but the sight I'm seeing now left me perplexed to a whole new level.
Her eyes are red like she went through a sandstorm with no goggles, her cheeks were flowing with tears like a river, her lips are quivering and she was hyperventilating. Now I'm extremely worried. Never in my wildest imaginations that I see Yuuko-chan in this state. Just who is this boy that made her become like this? She's definitely not the type to fawn over boys. No way in hell.
"Yuuko-chan?" Just as I reach out to her, she quickly got up her seat and immediately left the classroom, leaving everyone else confused. I look back at the boy, who still has his sight on the classroom door where Yuuko left. I can see the clear worry on his face. I need to check if Yuuko-chan is Ok.
"Sensei, is it Ok for me to check on the class ambassador to see if she's alright?"
"Yes. Yes you may, Kudou,"
I got up from my seat and quickly left the class. But I have no idea where she might go. Better start looking.
Daisuke's POV
I kept my gaze on the class door where the girl ran out. That was her, wasn't it? That was… Why did she run out? I hope that other girl, the one whose hair was as green as cabbage, can find her.
"Sensei, will she be alright?" I slowly turn my attention to Takahashi-sensei while retaining my concern.
"Hopefully… I hope Kudou can resolve things. In the meantime, why don't you take the seat next to Kubo-kun?"
"Of course," I make my way to my seat. Once I sat down, I greeted the guy named Kubo. If I remembered right, sensei did say someone named Kubo is no. 2 overall. And I got to say, I pretty much expected to find this kind of guy in a class of very smart people. The guy has an air around him that says to me he is capable. He has bluish, greenish medium-length hair that is spiky at the front but less so at the back. He's wearing rectangular-framed glasses over his purplish eyes.
I shook his hand and took my seat. Immediately, I glanced over my shoulder to where her seat is. The chair still in an improper position way out of its table.
I really hope she is alright…
Normal POV
Meanwhile, Aiko is walking around the school trying to find Yuuko. She knows it isn't like her to leave during class in almost any circumstance, thus the high severity of the situation.
"Where could she be?" She looks around while scratching her head.
"Let's try the rooftop," Aiko makes her way to the rooftop. Once she opens the door, she hears someone sobbing.
"Huh, didn't think I got it right the first try. Then again, this is the most isolated spot of the school,"
Aiko walked slowly to the source of the sobbing, hoping not to startle the person responsible for it. Once she turned the corner, she found who she was looking for. But the way she is now just makes Aiko's heart sink even further.
She was sitting down, leaning back on the wall with her arms and knees close to her body and face buried into them. Aiko can hear the muffled cries made by the girl in front of her. Aiko knelt down right in front of her.
"Yuuko-chan… Are you Ok?"
There is no response from Yuuko. She continues crying into her knees and arms.
"Yuuko-chan, please look at me," Aiko pleaded as she touched Yuuko's shoulder. Yuuko slowly raised her head and the sight has pulled Aiko's heart strings even further.
Yuuko's eyes were as watery as a cucumber and her face was a wet mess. She sniffled while she tried to wipe the tears away to face Aiko properly, but it keeps coming from her eyes.
"Yuuko-chan…"
"I'm… I'm sorry, Aiko. I-I-I j-just need to be alone for a while. Can you please…" Yuuko said each word in between sniffles. She is so overwhelmed with sadness she couldn't complete her request. Though Aiko might know what her question is.
"No. I'm not going anywhere until I see you Ok," Aiko said with a determined look. Yuuko though looked away, still crying over her shoulder. Aiko sighed as she sat down beside her. She can't believe Yuuko is crying because of a boy. She has to know what is this new guy's connection to her.
"Yuuko-chan… Who is that boy?"
Yuuko still hasn't averted her empty gaze away from Aiko. Aiko sighed again as he scratched her head. She looks back at the silent Yuuko. Aiko sighs.
"Yuuko, I want to help you, even if you don't want it. You know that I'm not gonna drop it until you tell me. So please… Tell me…" Aiko didn't want to put further strain on Yuuko's emotional state. But if she wants to help, she needs to know why Yuuko was crying when she saw Daisuke.
Yuuko took a deep breath. That cued Aiko that Yuuko is about to tell her.
"Firstly, do not to tell this to anyone. At least until I get my mind in the right place. Can you promise me that…?"
"I promise," Aiko braced herself as she listens intently while keeping her vision on the emotionally-wrecked class ambassador.
"He… Daisuke… he is my childhood friend when we were in elementary," Yuuko swallowed between every word
"What? Really?" Aiko's eyes went wide. Yuuko nodded.
"Shouldn't you be happy that he has come back? I mean-"
"He disappeared from my life without any warning, Aiko!" Yuuko wailed at the green-haired girl, which made the latter flinch.
"L-look, I'm just not ready to tell you everything. So can we please drop this until I get my emotions in check…? Please?" Yuuko pleaded as she looked at Aiko. Aiko looked away in thought with her fist under chin. She then looked back at Yuuko.
"I promise. But you have to tell me about him one day, is that Ok?" Aiko puts her hand on Yuuko's back to comfort her. Yuuko gazed back at the floor as she silently nodded in response.
"Good. Now come on, we have to get back to class. Takahashi-sensei must be worried," Aiko gets up as she extends a hand for Yuuko to grab. The honor student accepted the offer as she gets up slowly with Aiko's help. Just as Aiko is about to walk ahead…
"Aiko…?"
"Hm?" Aiko turns around.
"I just want to say… Thank you," Yuuko gazed solemnly on the floor.
"You're welcome, Yuuko-chan,"
Both of them went back inside and down towards their classroom, but not before Yuuko went to the bathroom to wash her tear-stained face. She looked at her reflection with uncertainty. Uncertain to how to deal with this surprising development. After a few moments, she shake herself out of her thoughts, dried her face and hands and proceeded to go back to her classroom with Aiko. As they enter the classroom, the class' attention turns towards her.
"Ah, Yuuko. Are you Ok?" Takahashi-sensei asked with concern. Yuuko nodded in response.
"I'm fine, sensei. Thank you for your concern," Yuuko then nodded at Aiko, silently thanking her, to which Aiko nodded in response.
The class slowly turned their attention back to class. All but one, though. Daisuke kept his sight on Yuuko as she returns to her seat. Before she did, her eyes met Daisuke's. Daisuke had a sense of happiness when their eyes met. But it was quickly short-lived when he saw Yuuko returning her own gaze filled with sadness, to which Daisuke's own expression now mirrors along with a mix of confusion. Yuuko shook her head to snap out of her thoughts as she took her seat. Daisuke slowly turns his attention back to the class, but not before he took one last glance at Yuuko over his shoulder. Their silent interaction was largely ignored by everyone who are focused on the class… with the exception of Aiko and a long dark purple-haired girl.
Later
As the lunchtime bell rang throughout the school, Yuuko immediately got up from her seat and made a beeline for the door. Just as she is about to open the door…
"Yuuko!"
The voice calling out her name made her stop abruptly and sent shivers down her entire being.
"No! Not now! Not…"
"Yuuko, is that really you? Please tell me it's you," the voice wavered. Yuuko swallowed a lump as she slowly turns her body around. She sees Daisuke just standing centimeters apart from her. She sees Daisuke's eyes were holding back tears and his lower lip quivering. She then averted her gaze away from the dark-haired boy as she looks down on the floor.
"Yuuko?" Daisuke slowly approached her. By now, they have got almost everyone's attention. Aiko sees them from afar and was about to walk over them to ease the tension for Yuuko's sake. But she was stopped by the purple-haired girl.
"What? Shouko-chan?"
Shouko responded by shaking her head and made a shush sign. Aiko rapidly blinked at her as they continue to observe. The class murmured about the ongoing development between Daisuke & Yuuko. But the whispers were ignored by the two people in question. Daisuke walked slowly towards the brunette in order to get a good look at her. After adjusting his head a few times, he made a bold move of tilting her head towards him by using his finger on her chin. The move surprised Yuuko with her eyes wide.
"It… It really is you…" Daisuke trailed off. If him tilting her head by her chin isn't bold enough, he went in and embraced her, prompting surprised gasps from their classmates and an even more surprised expression from Yuuko with her cheeks getting red as a tomato. They remain like this for a few minutes with Daisuke shedding a bit of waterworks from his closed eyes. But as time went on, the rage within Yuuko was building. But Daisuke was oblivious as he has his head over her shoulder.
Yuuko had enough as she pushed Daisuke away and proceed to slap him across the face as hard she can as the sound reverberates throughout the classroom as more gasps were made by their classmates. Daisuke's head and gaze on the floor didn't budge for a few moments. He then wryly chuckle much to Yuuko's confusion.
"I… I kinda deserve that, huh?" Daisuke turns his watery gaze back to Yuuko midway through his sentence with a soft smile. Confused, Yuuko scoffs as she quickly left the classroom in a huff. Daisuke was about to follow her, but was stopped by Aiko as she went in front of him.
"Whoa. Hold it. It's clear to me you two have history, but I think you should give her some space and let me talk to her instead," Aiko then left the classroom too. Daisuke stood in the same position just staring at the door for a few minutes processing what just happened, bewildered on what to do next.
"Um… Excuse me?" Someone's stoic voice called out to him. He snapped out of his thoughts to turn around and see Shouko greeting him.
"Uh, yes?"
"I apologize for interrupting, but I want to introduce myself. My name is Shouko Kirishima, I'm the class representative of this class," Shouko bowed.
"O-Oh, hi. I'm Daisuke, but I'm pretty sure you know that already," Daisuke chuckled as he folded his arms. He looks around and see his fellow classmates have gone on with their usual business.
"Um… Daisuke-kun. I hate to intrude, but what is your connection to Yuuko-chan?" Shouko tilted her head.
"You mean she didn't tell you about me?" Daisuke turns his attention back to the class rep.
"To be honest, she isn't exactly very close to anyone here. But she does talk to a few of us from time-to-time,"
"I… see… The truth is… We were childhood friends," Daisuke revealed.
"I see. It makes sense given how you interacted with her,"
"Yes. But it seems she doesn't want to do anything with me," Daisuke tilted his head towards the ground as he closes his eyes deep in thought.
"Yuuko… What happened after I left? Wait, maybe… Yes! Perhaps he can tell me," Daisuke snaps out of his thoughts and looks at Shouko.
"Class rep, are you familiar with Yuuko's brother, Hideyoshi?"
"Ah, I figured you would be friends with Hideyoshi since you're friends with Yuuko. Yes. He is a friend of my boyfriend," Daisuke raised his eyebrows at the revelation.
"You're… in a relationship, class rep? Would the school allow that given how they are?"
"I don't think they would be bothered as long as I maintain my grades," Shouko softly smiled while fidgeting at the thought of her relationship.
"Well, glad they're not that stuck-up. So… Hideyoshi is in which class?"
"He's in Class F,"
"Sorry… What?" Daisuke looked at Shouko with a mix of surprise and bewilderment.
"Is something wrong?"
"Well, the thing is… Ok. Hideyoshi may not be as smart as Yuuko. But surely he is not THAT stupid. I thought he would be at Class D level," Daisuke scratched his head with one hand on his hip.
"But I can assure you he is in Class F," Shouko maintained.
"Huh… Anyways, thanks for the info, class rep. I think I'll visit Hideyoshi in Class F," Daisuke bowed
"Actually, I would like to come with you. I want to visit my boyfriend," said Shouko.
"I see. Then come along," Daisuke motioned. Both of them left Class 2-A and duly made their way to Class F.
"I wonder what Class F is like… Either way, I hope Hideyoshi can tell me something useful,"
So on my first try, I felt like a rookie. In other words, I felt my writing isn't good enough and my first try felt like a carwreck in writing and the direction of the story. I'm not too sure how all of you feel about this chapter 1 redux, but I know I feel this is so much better than what I put out the first time. Your reviews though are a different story, so I truly hope you enjoyed this.
Chapter names from here on out will now be the same format as to how Baka to Test name their chapters/episodes to pay homage to the series. I will keep the author update chapter so that you al can read what I have in mind for this second try of this story.
Stay tuned for the next chapter
