Nico obliged. And then, he walked back across the green to where Will Solace was waiting.- The Blood of Olympus, page 488.
The son of Hades arrived in front of the medic, his stomach twisting around like his intestines were having a party. Will looked Nico straight in the eyes, the blue orbs shining with some sort of emotion that Nico couldn't decipher. It was similar to the look Bianca or his mother would give him when he was younger and ate the last cookie, or disobeyed their orders. Scolding, yet loving.
"So, Death Boy, if you don't come with me to the infirmary and rest up for three days, then you'll be Dead Boy. Let's go," Will said, tugging at Nico's elbow for him to folow. Nico crossed his arms and stuck out his lower lip like a child.
"And what if I don't want to go?" He complained, trying to seem as innocent as possible.
What the actual Hades am I doing?
Solace rolled his eyes, letting out a deep sigh before grabbing Nico by the shoulders.
"Then you won't ever get this-" Will cut off his own sentence my pressing his mouth against Nico's. Heat flew to the Italian demigod's cheeks, yet he found himself kissing Will back, their lips molding together perfectly. It practically killed the butterflies, yet it didn't do Nico any good considering dead stuff still bothered him. Will pulled away.
"Again."
"What about when I wake up in three days?" Nico asked, still somewhat woozy from the kiss.
"Then you'll get one. But that'll afterwards."
"Afterwards." Nico agreed.
