Chocolate Chippity Good!
A ShikaChou Oneshot?

iKoffeeholic's Word: I have never written a ShikaChou! I think they're cute together, but my fanfiction only stretches from SasuNaru to KakaIru (and maybe KibaNaru and NaruKono *blush*). So enjoy this one. This is #4, and 12 more days to go till I get another year closer to the grave. (Don't judge me!) And know that energy drinks are bad for you, since I wrote this while drinking one. Goodbye, goodnight's sleep…
That's How the Cookie Crumbles
Just around the time kids get out of school, Mrs. Akamichi always had a batch of chocolate chip cookies ready to come out of the oven. Since Mr. Akamichi got home from work ten minutes before Chouji that afternoon, half of those freshly-baked cookies could be declared missing and washed down with a cold glass of milk. Chouji brought Shikamaru home with him to study. When Chouji went to the kitchen to grab some snacks, a barren cookie sheet caught his eye.
"DAD! HOW COULD YOU?!" he cried.
Worried, Shikamaru got off the couch and walked past Mr. Akamichi, who happened to be laughing at his son's dilemma as he reclined in his lounger.
Mr. Akamichi handed Shikamaru a cookie. "Take it. It might come in handy," he chuckled.
"What is it, Chou?" he asked Chouji.
Chouji whimpered, "Dad ate all the cookies! I'm dying of sugar-hunger, Shika!"
Shikamaru couldn't hold his laughter, so he let it out. "It's okay. They're not all gone." He held up the cookie, which was still soft and warm. "Here." Chouji didn't take it from him—he ate it out of his hand. Well, only half of it.
"Better?"
"Yeah, I guess so. I'm still kinda hungry though."
Shikamaru rolled his eyes and ate the remaining half, smiling at Chouji's halfway-cured sugar craving. He pecked at the chocolate smeared on Chouji's lips and licked the rest off of his own. "Now let's get back to studying. I've got my own work to do too, you know," he said with a smirk.
"Yeah yeah, Shika. What a drag…"
"Hey, that's my thing!"
