Usual disclaimers apply

"So it all comes to this huh?" Felicity tried to make it sound like a joke but failed, miserably.

"I guess" Oliver said his jaw clenching.

Who would have thought? After years of enduring everything, from simple computer problems, to the count, the clock king, Slade, the crappy first date, the exciting second date, everything comes down to this.

"Felicity" he calls as he drag her luggage.

"Don't" She raised her hands. "Don't try to make me stay. Or ask if I'm okay. I don't have the answers"

"Felicity please" He tried to grabbed her bag. "At least let me explain"

"One quick question, was she worth it? Was she worth all this?" She needed to know. "Who am I kidding? It's the Laurel Lance of course she is."

"Stop" He grabbed her fully. "Why must you think that I'll chose her over you?"

"Because that's what you do Oliver. It's me until she comes along" tears treated to fall her eyes. Oliver wrapped his hands around her wrist. Drowning in her vanilla scent.

"Funny, here I thought I've given everything up to be with you" He fired back. Now he's just hurt. His lungs clog with pain. He made sure of outing her first, at all times and he had no Idea how she felt about Laurel.

"Oliver, let me go." She tried to pry his hands off. "You're drunk."

"I can't, please don't do this. I didn't want anything to happened" he let go of her hands. "I had a couple of drinks, I don't know why I feel so groggy."

"But something did happen." She stood in front of him. "Couple of drinks won't make me feel good either"

"Nothing did. She kissed me" frustration was evident on his face. His hands went to his hair and tried to pull on it.

"And you kissed her back, what a classy move." She applauded.

"For a second, I kissed her back for a second and I pushed her away. We were drunk And I'm not justifying my actions. I'm asking, no begging for your forgiveness." He begged.

"I trusted you. I trusted you enough to let you have drinks with your ex girlfriend, and you failed me." Tears are now flowing in her face and she wipe it. Oliver hates seeing her cry.

She fixed her back and reach for the door.

"What do you need me to say?" He calls her attention back to the room.

"I need you not to say anything." She assured him.

"But-" he started to argue.

"I need time" time? Oliver was already on the verge of losing his mind and she needs time. Damn it, he wanted to shake her up but he knew he was at fault.

"I don't care how long you need, just promise me you'll come back" he said, just before she closed the door. "Back here, back to me. I'll wait forever if that's what it'll take."

Then the door closed. He slide down the floor his back on the door.

On the other side. Felicity was slump on the floor, every ouch of her strength was spent on walking out of their apartment room.

She got up a few minutes later when she's sure he isn't coming out to follow her. Not that she wanted him to, but it'll be nice if he did, at least she'll know he's ready to chase her.

She got on the elevator and it door closed.

So much for her happy ending.

Possible two shot- please review if you want me to continue :) if you want Oliver to be a cheating b- or do you want me to make a more redeeming back story?
