Here is the sixth chapter. I'm actually extremely sorry because I had half of this chapter made soon after I made the fifth chapter. But like I said in my other fic, I didn't have enough inspiration or enough new LuNa fic to read so I couldn't make the second half. I rushed things and made this the final chapter of this fic so I'm not so proud of this chapter. Hope you enjoy ^^

"Nami! Let me help too!" Luffy yelled.

"No! You sit here until I finish the preparations. That won't take long, I'm almost done," said Nami.

"You can at least let me help, you know…" Luffy said, crossing his arms.

"Too late," said Nami as she smirked. "I just finished it. We can dig in now."

Luffy pouted and looked at today's lunch. It was mostly sandwiches and many other things that don't require utensils to eat. He was really hungry after skipping yesterday's dinner and today's breakfast. He thought that Sanji would make an extra something for him because of that. To say that the amount didn't match his expectation was an understatement. It was even less than what a normal person would eat for lunch. Like something made for a person that's trying to not add unnecessary fat on their body. Yes…, something made for someone like Nami. Said person was actually eating with a big innocent and sadistic smile that would match Robin's one.

"What's wrong Luffy? You don't want to eat it?" Nami asked with the same expression.

"Uh…mmm…Don't mind me! It looked so delicious that it seemed a waste to eat it too fast…"

"You say that but you already ate everything…" Nami informed with half lidded eyes.

"AAAHHHHH! The food disappeared!"

"No, YOU eat it… in one bite."

Nami then smirked and went closer to Luffy on all four "Sooooo, Luufffyyyy~"

"Na-Nami?" Luffy's face was covered with sweat drop. Nami's smirk was enough to make him nervous.

"Do you want to eat more?" she asked.

"Uh…well…"

"It's okay if you want. We can go to the city and buy all the meat you want."

She was startled when she saw a sudden change of expression on Luffy.

"No it's okay… we will go explore more after you finish eating. You need to see everything to draw a better map, no?"

"Yes…" Nami pouted as she thought while eating "Like I expected, he still won't show his true feelings. But what can you do with an almost empty stomach Luffy? Until this morning, you somehow deceived your stomach by not eating anything that would make you want to eat more. Now that you ate something with a very dissatisfying quantity, you will be even hungrier than this morning and you will start to crave for more. The first step of my plan is a success. The second step needs me to keep an eye on Luffy. We are going to explore the mountain more so that I don't need to guard him from anti-Luffy item like books."

Nami then felt something slippery on her fingers. She looked at it and her face turned red. "Luffy! What are you doing?!"

"Hmm… licking your fingers…" Luffy responded casually.

"I mean, WHY are you doing this?" She yelled.

"Dunno…" Luffy said as he still got one of her finger in his mouth.

Nami finally understood that he couldn't keep himself from eating the small bits that rested on her fingers. As she blushed, she pushed him aside. "Well, looks like the second step is not starting too well," she thought, even if she was secretly happy of that small accident.

"So, where are we heading now?" Luffy asked.

"At the peak," she responded "So that I can have a glimpse of the whole island with my eyes."

As they were walking through the trees, Luffy spotted many apples "Oh, it looks fresh! We didn't have any desserts so why not eat apples instead?"

"No, Luffy!" scolded Nami. "I forgot to say something but…uhh… all the fruits you can find on this mountain are poisonous." It was obviously a lie. "So don't eat them, okay?"

"Ehhh! It is fine, I'm immune to poison after all!" Luffy said.

"Even if you're immune to poison, that doesn't mean you can eat everything you want. Who knows what it might do to you!" she scolded him again.

Nami felt something pierce her heart as she saw Luffy pouting sad. "Be strong Nami, it's the last time! You just have to keep him from eating anything until he would cry for meat. Anything that might lessen his need of meat is not permitted. After that you can let him eat as much as he wants."

"Ok…," Luffy said. "We don't have all the day so let's go explore more."

"It's still hasn't been one day you know? Since we came here yesterday afternoon, we still have two days here. We have more time than enough to explore," Nami said.

"I already told you that I want to read books. I don't have time to play. I only agreed to come with you because you need to explore the island for your map," Luffy said as he walked with his hands in his pocket.

A vein popped in Nami's forehead as she thought, "He is still thinking about reading books. That stubborn idiot!"

Nami was taking measures of the island from the peak of the mountain. The mountain's height was below average so it didn't go above the cloud and Nami could see everything from where she was. Luffy went to take a nap after admiring the view and finding the Sunny's position. While the mountain was not tall, it was very large so it took a few hours to reach the peak and it took more hours for Nami to measure the shape of the island. It had a weird and complicated shape after all.

Nami went to Luffy's side. He was sleeping with his hands behind his head and his straw hat was covering his face.

"I feel like wanting to lie next to you if you sleep so peacefully, idiot…," Nami whispered with a smile. "I can let him sleep longer. I need to buy time so it's more convenient this way." Nami thought. She looked at the sky. "Looks like I still have time until six o'clock…I will let him sleep until then. I want to take a nap too but I don't want him to wake up and go eat while I'm sleeping…"

Luffy then moved one of his hands to scratch his belly and rested that arm on his side.

"Great! Thanks Luffy!" She moved his arm so that she can use it as a pillow and rested one hand on his abs "Now you can't move without waking me. And I love this position…," she thought as she was blushing. That was her last thoughts before falling asleep.

Nami started to wake from her sleep. Surprisingly Luffy was still sleeping. He must have been really tired after sleeping outside for two days. But that was not what mattered to Nami when she woke up. She found Luffy's sleeping face really close to hers and noticed that he was facing her with one arm still under her head and the other around her waist. No need to explain why she was blushing and why she was not trying to move.

After what felt like a few minutes, she used all her willpower to free herself from him and tried to wake him up.

"Luffy! Luffy!" Nami called while shaking him.

"Hmm… it's breakfast time?" Luffy asked.

"It's almost dinner…," she said before whispering with a smile "Idiot…"

Luffy yawned loudly and stretched his arms. He turned to look at Nami and asked "Did you finish your map?"

"I finished it a few hours before. I was sleeping with you until now," said Nami while blushing at her words.

"Is that so? Then we can go back to the ship?" Luffy asked.

"Sorry but we still can't go back to the ship… Hey Luffy, do you want to spend some time on the beach before dinner?" Nami asked after thinking a few seconds.

"We are always on sea so why do we need to go at the beach? And it's almost night so, it will be boring."

"Hmm, right…," Nami said. "But I don't know where else…"

Then Luffy said, "What about going at the place we ate lunch? There we can relax a little before dinner."

Nami nodded and they stood up to return at the flower field.

Luffy and Nami were sitting on the same place they were during lunch. The scenery was different from what it was in the sunlight. The moonlight of the full moon made it look more… mysterious. There was surprisingly no wind and no bug noise at all. It was quiet and beautiful.

"I didn't think it would be this different at night…," said Nami.

Then a rumbling sound came from Luffy's stomach.

Luffy laughed awkwardly and said "Sorry, looks like I'm a little hungry."

"Not just a little if you ask me…"

Nami was thinking again. After a few minutes, she looked like she made a decision. She turned toward Luffy and…

"Luffy!" she called.

Luffy was a little surprised. "Wh-What's wrong?"

She hugged him suddenly and said "I'm sorry Luffy."

"Huh?"

She released him and looked straight at him. "I know I've said very harsh things yesterday. Of course you're an idiot…you don't know how I feel and you're always doing what you want. You won't look at me when I want you to look at me. You always think about our safety before thinking about yours. But that's just how you are. You're just an idiot, an idiot that mostly thinks about meat."

Luffy felt like he was just being unreasonably insulted.

"Even so…that's the Luffy we love." Nami couldn't hold back her tears. "That's the Luffy I love."

Luffy's eyes widened.

"Luffy… I love you."

"…Nami…"

Nami hugged him once more and started speaking in a softer tone. "I love you so much it hurts. So to make that pain go away, I badmouthed you behind your back. I didn't want to hinder you until you achieved your dream… that's why I was enduring it. But when it was too hard and I wanted to say something to make the pain go away…you saw what happened. I hurt you, Luffy…"

"…"

"So please… go back to the way you were. You don't have to forgive me but at least show me your smile once more… I just want to see your smile…"

"…"

"…"

"Ok." Luffy said with a grin.

Nami was shocked "You're lying aren't you? Are you sure you're okay? I can't believe you accepted like that. You don't have some hole in your heart? Some pain?"

"Yeah, that just went away."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes!"

"Are you sure?"

"You're too persistent Nami!"

"…"

"…"

"Then?" Nami asked as if it said everything.

"Then what?"

"You know. The two other things."

"What are you talking about?"

"Um… I'm asking you about your answer to my confession and whether you forgive me or not. Idiot!"

"Shishishishi, of course I forgive you." Luffy said as he hugged her this time. She squealed with delight and returned the hug.

"But…," Luffy started. "I don't think I can be completely like before."

Nami was surprised and broke the hug. "What do you mea-"

Luffy sealed her mouth with his lips.

"After all, I don't remember hugging and kissing you before, no?"

Nami blushed and then smiled "If it's just that, I won't complain. Of course I don't plan on stopping with just hugging and kissing." She winked at Luffy, causing him to blush for a reason that was not known to him. Nami didn't let him think and continued to make out with him. Until…

*growl* Luffy's stomach started rumbling.

"Meat~ , Sanji! Meat!"

Nami laughed "Don't worry. I've brought enough money to fill your stomach with meat."

"Really, Nami is the best!"

"You're just an idiot. But you're my idiot. So I will forgive you."

"Why don't we eat with everyone else?" Luffy asked.

"Well, I didn't plan to confess before dinner but I rushed a bit so I don't see any problem."

"Thanks Nami!"

"But!" Nami exclaimed. She blushed with a smile on her face "Promise me that you will spend the night alone with me. And I only mean sleeping! Nothing else!"

"What? Is there something else to do?"

"No! Idiot!"

"Hmm… well we have to go call everyone first. Let's go!"

Nami smiled as she thought "I got so much in one day that I won't ask too much. But…just wanting to see his smile the whole night, isn't too much right? Not that I care for your opinions."

Finally one fic finished. I feel it's rushed and I wanted a happy ending with the whole family, telling about them to the crew but I found that it was not necessary and I have not any idea how to finish with them. If I put the Straw-hats then a little LuNa for the end it would have been good but I was a little tired. I don't know if you feel disappointed or not but I can make a sequel rated-M for this fic. My other fic have also 1 chapter left (I think) and after that I will occasionally make LuNa one shots. Tell me if you want the sequel.
