A/N: I don't really know if anyone understands how hard filler chapters are for me. It's like knowing where point A begins and where point B needs to start but there needs to be character development and fleshing out in the space between that. (If that makes sense.) Besides, I felt like there needed to be more interaction and explanation as to why Natalie knows werewolves exist and etc.

Anyways, I feel like this is one of the more crappier chapters I'll write because I really wanted to get this up but I also wanted to make it good, y'know? I really hope it's up to par though, cause I really want to keep this going. At least until my Spring Break is finished.

lolsmileyface6: Thanks! Really means a lot. Here's that update for you! :)

As for anyone who's followed and/or favorited this story, thanks very much. You mean just as much to me as those who leave me such lovely reviews.

DISCLAIMER: If it's recognized as Teen Wolf material, probably ain't mine. Be cool if it was though. I just own the long list of OC's in this story.

Natalie
Crash – You Me at Six

"Hey Ry, dad's making chicken and rice." She says, upon entering his room, and her older brother jumps off his bed to put papers away in his desk and cover things up. Natalie just furrows her brow.

"Alright, I'll be down soon." He answers, and the younger sister nods.

"What's up?" She asks, and Ryan turns to face her, running a hand through his hair.

"What? Oh, nothing. Don't worry about it." Natalie nods, chewing on her bottom lip.

"Uh-huh…" She hums, before walking past him, shoving her shoulder into his to move him out of her way before digging the papers out of his desk and reading them over.

Her eyes widen almost comically before Natalie glares at him.

"You seriously can't be doing this." She grinds out, finger digging into the paper and making it crinkle in her hand.

"Nat don't, I need to send that back to the recruiter." Her brother protests, and Natalie swears her face is heating up due to being so enraged.

"Why didn't you tell me? Tell any of us?" She grinds out, and they both can hear someone coming up the stairs and towards Ryan's room.

"Hey, c'mon. Dinner's ready." Elijah says in the doorway, obviously confused as to why they haven't come downstairs yet.

"We'll be down in a sec Elijah." Ryan tells him, and the twelve year old nods, before looking closer at the paper.

"What does that mean? 'Enlistment approved'? Is he getting deployed like dad used to?" Elijah asks, and Ryan groans, running another hand through his hair roughly. By now it's just a blonde disheveled mess, he's obviously been stressed out about this.

"Yeah, he's getting deployed like dad used to. Except he's a Marine, not in the Army." Natalie answers, throwing the paper back on the desk. Where she had been gripping it was a little stressed and crumpled from her death grip and a little brown from a light burning.

"Are you two still fighting?" Allison asks when Natalie sits next to her in French the next day. Shortly after that fight and dinner, Natalie had called her and Lydia, pretty close to hysterics about the whole ordeal and both had come over. The latter though was calming Natalie down by going through the clothes they'd bought a day or so before and laid an outfit out for her and taught her how to walk in heels without hurting herself.

"The car was so silent this morning you could hear a pin drop." Natalie answers and Allison sighs.

"You do know that it's his choice right Natalie?" Natalie nods.

"I get that, dad was fine with it too. Just…it's too soon Allison." And Allison may or may not have understood but she nods.

"Give it time Nat, you two just need to talk it out." Natalie nods and the class passes uneventfully, meaning for a French 2 class they were reading children's French books.

Needless to say, when Natalie sat down next to Isaac in science, she was ready to sleep for the rest of the day.

"You couldn't look more tired." He tells her and she grins a little.

"Thanks Isaac. You look like you got hit by a truck." She tells him, and Isaac sighs.

"Something like that." She raises an eyebrow as she sits up from leaning on the table.

"You alright? Seriously." And the blonde sighs, looking at her, and to Natalie she sees that Isaac hasn't slept in days more like. His eyes are bruised and have bags under them, it's a normal thing with teens and she's used to seeing it in everyone's face. But with Isaac his eyes are sunken in a little more and he's paler than usual. It kind of worries Natalie.

"Yeah just…rough weekend." He answers and before Natalie can open her mouth to say something the door slams shut roughly, showing a woman who's short with mousy brown hair, glasses, and a pin straight suit. She's not short but she's not exactly tall either. Her face is mean, fixating everyone with a glare and her eyes linger on Natalie a little longer, making her shift in her seat uncomfortably.

"So, you must be Harris' Physics class…charming." Natalie scrunches up her nose.

"More like not impressed." She breathes, setting her phone next to her text book and scrolling through her text messages from her brother.

I'm sorry I didn't tell you.

Nat, please text me back. It's important.

Natalie, seriously. Text me back.

Sighing Natalie taps the text box and starts swiping her fingers across the keyboard.

I'm still mad at you. What's up?

"Ms. Garcia, please put your phone away before I have to take it." Natalie raises a challenging eyebrow before locking the device and shoving it in her lap. "Now, as this is a physics class, I'm sure you've covered momentum, Mr. Lahey, could you give me the formula for momentum?"

Natalie sighs as her phone vibrates again in her lap.

I heard dad on the phone last night, he was saying something about how there's a family of hunters here, and there'll be more coming. They said they were hunting for something.

Natalie furrows her eyebrows as she quickly texts back as Isaac answers and the sub writes it on the board.

What like a family that hunts for a sport? Not surprising seeing as how Beacon Hills is pretty close to Washington and I doubt there's a scarcity in game. Why is this important?

"Now, as far as examples go…Ms. Garcia, what is one thing that we can measure momentum for?" Natalie bites on her thumbnail, the purple nail polish Lydia put on chipping away already.

"Uhm…how fast a figure skater can go and if she'll land a..." After flubbing for a bit she decides on her next words, "Triple axel we'll say. She'll need to go at least a speed of twenty-five miles per hour and get it up before she can even think of trying to make the jump." The sub nods.

"You sound like you speak from experience." Natalie shrugs as she feels her phone vibrate again in her lap.

"Shattered my ankle skating." The sub nods, thus leaving her and Isaac alone, letting Natalie check her phone.

Pretty sure hunters don't talk about werewolves, kanima's, and other things.

Natalie sighs before looking around and having more questions than answers.

What the hell is a kanima?

And she got an almost instant reply of;

I don't know.

Natalie sighs, dropping her phone on her textbook and runs a hand through her hair.

"Great." She breathes, picking up her pen and copying down what's written on the board.

Now her and Ryan are back to where they started, having more questions than answers and no ways of answering them, much less figuring out what's wrong with Natalie to begin with.

Guess we're back to square one then Ry. You're buying lunch today.

"Okay! So!" Natalie jumps from looking at her math book to see her brother dropping a bag labeled as Toby's Burger's and a thick stack of papers.

"You're a little too excited about this…whatcha got?" She replies as she grabs a can of coke from her brother and takes the burger and cup of curly fries from him.

"I needed the distraction during fourth and I will not object to helping out my little sister in need." He responds, cracking open his water bottle.

"Mmm, brown nosing will not get you anywhere." She hums and Ryan screws his eyes shut.

"Do you want my help or no?" And Natalie mimics the; "lips are sealed" motion as she starts to eat. "Okay, so a kanima is apparently a sort of…lizard human thing. Kinda like a werewolf but you know, turns into a lizard." She nods, taking the printed off black and white picture of a very human-like lizard being.

"Why is it black and white? We have colored ink." She objects and Ryan sighs, organizing through the papers.

"Are you seri-" The older Garcia runs a hand down his face, "Are you going to let me talk? Cause I could just burn this and leave you to figure it all out for yourself." Natalie holds up her hands in surrender before Ryan mumbles a; "Thank you" before continuing. "But a Kanima needs a master, basically, it needs an order to kill otherwise it's kinda just…useless." Natalie nods and timidly raises her hand, making her brother sigh. "What?"

"So it's basically like a werewolf but…y'know…needs direction." Ryan nods.

"Exactly, and I've just learned…where is it…?" He mumbles, shuffling through the papers, snatching the one from Natalie's hand and handing her another one with a bunch of paragraphs, making her skim through it.

"That the way werewolves work are like actual wolf packs?" Natalie raises an eyebrow at her brother. "That's kinda a given Ry. Alphas, betas, omegas…what is new?" She asks and her brother takes a big bite out of his burger.

"Keep reading." He says after swallowing and Natalie sighs, skimming through the paragraphs some more.

A werewolf's status is all about the way they carry themselves and the eye color. If a werewolf's eyes are red, they have either taken or risen to Alpha status. Most commonly though, a werewolf's eyes are a golden color, sort of like a default setting. And in a rare case, a werewolf's eyes will turn blue if they've taken an innocent life.

"So…what, there's different colors for different things?" Natalie asks and Ryan nods.

"And do you remember when Kayla would tell mom that she saw a werewolf in class in Boulder?" He continues and Natalie shakes her head, leaning back in her chair.

"Let's not talk about them, okay?" She asks and Ryan nods, leaning forward on the table, their trash discarded in the takeout bag.

"I'm just saying, that this isn't as simple as we thought it would be." He answers and Natalie sighs.

"So what do we do next?" She asks, and Ryan leans back in his chair and runs a hand through his hair as the bell rings.

"Right now, you and I head to math while we figure out what these hunters want here in Beacon Hills." Natalie nods as Ryan stores the papers away and they pick their things up and head to math, Natalie sneaking in her headphones and feigning to pay attention.

What did she do to deserve getting thrown into this mess? Where there's kanimas and werewolves and apparently now hunters that are out to kill the supernatural things. Seven months ago, if Natalie and Ryan were told things like this exist, they probably either would've called that person crazy or just denied all of it.

Not to mention the crazy twist of events when mom and Kayla died…

Natalie shakes her head, looking out the window again and sighing.

What would they say if they were here? If they knew that there were werewolves in Beacon Hills…

Probably tell you to leave them alone and to stay away from them.

And Natalie can't take the feeling of being trapped in a small room so she raises her hand, holding up the bright orange 504 pass, and the teacher nods, letting Natalie get up and leave the room. And all she really does is wander the halls for a while, still feeling slightly claustrophobic as she even goes outside in the courtyard where there's tables filled with students either talking or studying and still eating.

"Must be nice huh?" She jumps, spotting Ethan walking up to the bench she's sitting on in the courtyard. "Being oblivious to things like us." Natalie raises an eyebrow.

"Things like us?" She asks and Ethan laughs a little.

"What, you've never noticed that you're not normal?" Natalie lets out a dry laugh.

"Other than that I read literature for fun and have all of the Assassin's Creed games? Kinda figured most teenage girls don't have those abilities under their belts." Ethan nods.

"Ah, the infamous gamer teenager girl. Y'know they're a dying breed." Natalie nods noncommittally. "Kind of like some other dying breeds. Y'know, wickens, witches, other things."

Natalie furrows her brow.

"I'm not a wicken or a witch for the matter, so you can drop that theory." Ethan laughed and leans back.

"Y'know Aiden thought that too. Thought you were a witch or something, with the way you burned him a week ago. But then it kinda dawned on us, witches don't burn people like that." Natalie turns towards Ethan.

"Wait, you guys know what's wrong with me?" She asks, and Ethan raises an eyebrow, all traces of humor gone.

"What and you don't?" She shakes her head.

"My brother and I have been trying to figure it out for months." Ethan sighs.

"Well then, it's something you'll have to figure out on your own." Natalie glowers feeling her face flush from frustration as Ethan grins as she gets up. "Have fun in math." He calls hearing her storm back inside the school and stomps back to her classroom and sit in her desk, mood thoroughly ruined.

"Hey, what's wrong with you?" Ryan asks from behind her and Natalie sighs.

"The twins know what's wrong with me. But…since I got Aiden suspended, Ethan won't tell me." Ryan sighs.

"Well I guess things got a little more complicated." He mumbles as the bell rings and Natalie nods. "Stick with Allison for your sixth please, I don't want you getting into anymore trouble." And the younger sibling rolls her eyes.

"Ye have little faith." She grumbles, but does as he says and hangs out with Allison in the library and flipping open her notebook and using her phone and google to help figure out what's wrong with her.

"Hey, you alright?" Allison asks her, noticing how angrily she's writing and Natalie sighs before turning in her chair and playing with her pen.

"Yeah I just…I'm frustrated…I'm sorry." Allison shrugs, taking Natalie's hands in her own and trying to calm the shaking and smooth them out from the fists they're developing.

"It's alright, I get it. Wanna talk about it?" She asks, and Natalie sighs, biting her lip and trying to find a way to word it properly without sounding insane.

"Well, my brother reopened something about my mom and my sister and well, I don't disagree with him, cause it also would partially have something to do with what's wrong with me but…I dunno. Maybe it's better if we don't look too deep into something that has nothing to do with us." Allison furrows her brow.

"Wait, wait. What do you mean something's wrong with you?" Natalie shakes her head, trying to take her hands back.

"It's stupid and nothing but just…I'm tired of having more questions than answers." Allison shakes her head and thus Natalie's hands.

"Trust me when I say, there is nothing that you can tell me that I think will be stupid." Natalie opens her mouth to answer, but her voice is cut off by the bell ringing and they both sigh.

"Later Allison. Not…not today." And she nods as they pack their things up and head on their way to English, taking their spots in front of Scott, who is talking with his best friend who's seated next to Natalie.

And she just makes a habit of ignoring Allison's eyes and drawing in a corner on her notebook page, more like doodling. Little things like stars and hearts like she used to do in middle school all over her papers.

"So, due to the last paper and test we took, it's quite obvious some of you don't know the basic tools of English. Much less writing." Ms. Blake says after coming in to her class and shutting the door. "So what I want you to do right now is to take out your notebooks or a sheet of paper, and write for five minutes. It can be anything. The party you went to last weekend, what you did when you got home last night, anything. I'm a non-judgmental teacher and I promise I won't call the cops." And so everyone got to work, except Natalie and Lydia who was drawing something, from what she could see it was the same tree from Friday. And Natalie just…didn't move. Didn't even take out a separate sheet of paper or anything.

She just didn't know what was wrong with her. The fact that if she touched a single lightbulb it would either light up or explode. The fact that now she could hold a flame to her hand and wouldn't feel the pain of a burn. And she wouldn't doubt that if she put her hand under a stream of water right now, it would move away, like if you rubbed a balloon in your hair and did the same thing.

Sighing she looks at her notebook, noticing the slight brown-ish black spots on the paper from when she was tapping it and the melted plastic of her pen.

"Shit…" She breathes fishing in her bag for the same bright orange pass in her bag and flashing it at Ms. Blake, who simply nods, as Natalie thrusts it between her teeth and runs to the bathroom. Using her elbows to turn the faucet knobs, she shoves her hands under the water stream and a large cloud of steam is produced from her hands. Under the stream they look clammy and red, slowly turning back to their regular olive color until she turns off the water, sighing and resting her head against the mirror.

What was she going to do about this problem?

Let me tell you something Nani, sometimes you don't have to do things alone. Because when you tell people to leave you alone, they will and then when you need someone the most, they won't be there. And trust me when I say, a mile like this, isn't something you want to go alone.

Natalie sighs, screwing her eyes shut and tapping her forehead against the mirror. Why is it that whenever she needed Kayla the most, she wasn't here? No, right now she was six feet under in Boulder Colorado, where it was probably raining or snowing right now.

"God…" She breathes, before looking at herself in the mirror, rubbing her wet hands against her cheeks. "I look awful." And she dries her hands in a paper towel before heading back to class.

"You alright?" Allison breathes, looking behind her slightly and Natalie nods, noticing that her notebook page has been ripped out and her pen doesn't look as melted as it did before she left.

"Um…yeah…fine. Where'd my stuff go?" She asks, and Allison holds up the melted pen.

"We kinda look out for our own." She tells Natalie, and the latter grins as Allison hands back the pen. "Will you tell me later?" And Natalie nods.

"You can count on it." She breathes as Ms. Blake turns back around and begins her lecture on basic paper structures.

Maybe Allison knowing won't be so bad kiddo. At least you'll have one more person to lean on other than Ryan.

A/N: So, quick once over. Wickens and Witches are actually quite different. While they do practice the same things, wickens have an actual religion kind of thing called the third eye. Basically it's like a future telling thing, I have no idea, it was just explained to me briefly by a friend of mine. Also, if you don't know or hadn't figured it out, the little italicised lines that are sported as thoughts in Natalie's head are kind of things that she would imagine Kayla would be saying to her. Kinda like a PTSD thing.

Also, I personally have nothing against those who enlist in the military, it's actually a very selfless and brave thing to do. But, a friend of mine had actually enlisted and hadn't told anyone until a week before he got shipped off to Basic Training and I thought that act alone was a very selfish thing to do, even if he was trying to protect those he loved, and I felt like his family was better off knowing that him keeping them oblivious. So that at the beginning was kind of my...frustration about it.

And as always, as far as any grammar/spelling mistakes I apologize for, still just a one man show writing/editing/updating this shebang and there's only so much I can do without mistakes.

Anyways, outfit for this chapter is in the collection on Polyvore, the link to that is in my bio.

And like always, feel free to leave any thoughts/comments/questions in a review.
