Chapter 19

Astrid was seeing some red when she and Snotlout entered grand hall, but when Hiccup waved at her and called her darling it went all red. She gripped the handle on her axe till her knuckles were white. She let around a battle cry and charged Hiccup, with Snotlout not far behind with his hammer.

"Can you believe that they think they can beat when I beat them blindfold when I'm not blindfolded?" Hiccup asked casually.

Everyone, except Freyja and Thorn, who were laughing, were scared and cowering slightly at the two angry Vikings.

"Some people just don't learn." Freyja commented.

Astrid and Snotlout get Hiccup and swung their weapons at him, but right before they made contact Hiccup was surrounded in a golden glow. The weapons bounced of Hiccup and the recoil caused Astrid and Snotlout to fall down onto their backs. Everyone, except Hiccup, Freyja, and Thorn, were in shock of what they just witnessed. "I guess you guys forgot that I can use magic because of my cloak." Hiccup said with a smile, which caused Freyja and Thorn to laugh.

Hiccup got up from his seat and pulled Astrid up off the ground. When he did Astrid tried to punch him, but he caught it and twisted her arm behind her back. "Let's go somewhere we can talk in private." Hiccup said and started to push a struggling Astrid out the door.

Snotlout started to get up, but Hiccup stopped and took out one of his swords and pins Snotlout to the floor by stabbing it through his clothes in his right shoulder. Hiccup then went back to pushing Astrid out of the grand hall.

"Hey get back here!" Snotlout shouted angrily and grabbed the sword trying to pull it back, only for it not to budge in the slightest.

"If you're a good boy Freyja will remove the sword." Hiccup called back before leaving the grand hall with Astrid.

Snotlout tried to remove the sword again, only to get the same result as last time.

"Give it up Snotlout. The only people that can remove that sword are gods, goddesses, and heroes like Hiccup, Hermen, and Drake." Thorn said.

"Fuck you!" Snotlout shouted angrily and tried again to remove the sword.

"Language, Snotlout, I have Hicca with me." Alivia scolded.

"Screw you whore." Snotlout retorted.

Right after he said that a sword went through his pants near the groin area missing the actual flesh in the area. "You better watch the mouth of yours or next time I'm going to aim slightly higher." Freyja threatened with a death glare. "Understand?"

Snotlout nodded quickly and fearfully.

"Good. Now shut up and be quiet." Freyja said and turned back around to the table.

"A lot of people think Hiccup has it great until they see Freyja pissed off." Thorn said taking a drink from his from his mug.

Freyja smacked Thorn in the back of the head.

Hiccup and Astrid were walking through the woods… well Hiccup was walking while pushing a struggling Astrid through the woods.

"Let me go." Astrid said, repeatedly elbowing Hiccup in the side.

"Are you going to attack me if I do?" Hiccup asked, not really feeling Astrid's elbow through his armor.

"Yes."

"Then no." Hiccup said with a playful smile on his face.

Astrid groaned and struggled more. "Would you stop struggling. This will go a lot quicker and easier."

"Shut up. I'll never fall in love with you." Astrid said.

"I'm not trying to make you fall in love with me… yet anyways." Hiccup said. "I just want us to be friends."

"Friends?" Astrid asked.

"Yeah we have to at least be friends if we're going to live together." Hiccup said.

"I suppose you're right." Astrid said.

"And if things happen to go well then we can see about being lovers." Hiccup said and smiled slightly when he saw Astrid blush.

"Don't plan on it." Astrid said.

"I said if." Hiccup said.

"You seduced an empress and a goddess I doubt you really mean if." Astrid said.

Hiccup chuckled and said. "Okay first off Freyja seduced me, I didn't seduce her. Second Alivia and I were drunk and flirting with each other so it was kind of mute on who was seducing who. Thirdly I am a gentleman and will treat like a lady should be treated, which means respecting your wishes." Hiccup said. "Lastly I do have a goddess and empress to look after along with a baby, so I'm pretty sure I'm going to have my plate pretty full. So I'll have put some effort in getting it to work and you'll have to do the same or else it would fail."

"You didn't put any effort into your relationships with Alivia and Freyja?" Astrid asked trying to pull one on Hiccup.

"I do, but it doesn't really feel like effort. It feels effortless… so to speak." Hiccup said.

"So what you have to put effort into loving me while Freyja and Alivia?" Astrid asked somewhat irritated by what Hiccup said. "And can you let go of my arm now, it's starting to hurt?"

"Will you attack me?" Hiccup asked.

"This again?" Astrid asked.

"Yes this again." Hiccup answered.

"Fine I won't punch you if you let me go." Astrid said ready to kick or punch Hiccup when she was let go.

"I said attack not punch." Hiccup said. "But nice try."

Astrid huffed and said. "Fine, it's kind of pointless at this point anyways."

"Good." Hiccup said and released Astrid.

Astrid rubbed the joints of her arm.

"Now as to the effort and loving you thing. It's more of a making time to actually get you to fall in love with me effort than getting you to love me." Hiccup said.

"How chivalrous of you making time for me instead of a goddess or empress." Astrid said.

"Do you even know what chivalrous means?" Hiccup asked.

"Isn't basically another word for honorable or gentlemanly?" Astrid replied.

Hiccup laughed and said. "Not even close."

"Then what does it mean?" Astrid asked confused. She could have sworn it meant honorable or gentlemanly.

Hiccup smiles and whispers something very very dirty in Astrid's ear. Astrid's eyes widened and she blushed so deeply she that her head would explode. After about 10 seconds Hiccup suddenly burst out laughing and rolling on the ground. "Oh my gods ha ha ha I can't believe you fell for that ha ha ha."

"What!?" Astrid shouted.

"Chivalrous does basically mean honorable or gentlemanly." Hiccup said still laughing his ass off.

Astrid took out her axe and raised it up. "HICCUP!"

Hiccup got up and start running through the forest laughing and running.
