I'll see you guys soon!
...
Summary: The happy upbeat toy robot Chica has found herself falling in love with the new nightguard, Jeremy Fitzgerald. She tries her best to capture his attention and affection, only to find herself come short. She finds it's hopeless to tell him of her true feelings. After all, who would love a robot? But with dark forces looming overhead as the old robots plot their revenge, would love still be able to prevail?
In the darkness, a clock can be seen, faintly ticking as its second hand goes by. Just slowly ticking the last few seconds until...
*DING* *DING*
...
...the clock rang at the stroke of midnight, the built-in alarm in the building ringing out a familiar jingle to show that it was 12. It continued to ring for a few more moments until stopping completely, the room only filled with nothing but the sound of the faint ticking of the clock as the darkness continued to blanket the area. And suddenly, a whizzing sound could be heard in the dark, faint at first but slowly growing in strength.
A yellow plastic frame started to slowly move about as its servos began to budge, tiny sparks erupting out of its sockets due to metal hiting against metal. Bit by bit, the animatronic's arms and legs started to move around, finally free from the grasp of the cold and dark room. Its mouth slowly opening and closing as its beak followed its movement. For a brief period of time, the animatronic's eyes glowed green, scanning the room and all of the objects situated in it, a green grid with faint green silhouettes popping up in its 'brain'. Slowly, the room started taking shape and form, with color slowly filling in. The robot blinked its eyes before shaking its head, letting out a sound that could be described as a yawn from its voicebox.
Chica had finally awoken from her sleep.
She shook her head and tried to dispel the waves of tiredness that her 'sleep' had given her. It was odd, she had nearly forgotten everything about herself just a couple of days ago from a sudden bug in her system but luckily, the helpful repair woman had fixed it for her. Nevertheless, she recalled who she was.
Mallory Chichi, with the preferred name of 'Chica'; an animatronic performer for the newly improved restaurant 'Freddy Fazbear's Pizza', designed to look appealing to the young kids with her 'hip' and 'fun' design. She was fit, with her slender body giving off the sort of 'party girl' vibe, which was enforced with the fact that she always wore her signature bib with the words 'Let's Party!'. Despite what they say that the animatronic's don't wear clothing, she was the only one designed to have a pink kind of garment made of fabric. Not only that, but apparently, her bib also had a small strap to the back. Chica never really understood as to why these were as such, but from the fact that there were these two mounds on her chest, it was probably due to that.
She had peeped into a conversation by her manufacturers. Something as to how those mounds were called 'breasts'.
But nevertheless, she never questioned them. It never really bothered her really.
Getting off the stage, Chica stretched her body, yawning once again to dispel the fatigue that was apparent. For a moment, she had thought of what to do, but disregarded any other thoughts when her memory databanks reminded her that there was going to be a night guard looking after her and the rest of her friends. She couldn't recall, but she could have sworn the guard's name was Jerry...or was it Jeremiah..Dolan..? Douglas...? She could have sworn that she heard of a person named Douglas...Uras? Oruz...? Oras...?
No...It didnt sound right inside her memory...It was then that she remembered what the name was. It was Jeremy! Yes! Jeremy Fitzgerald! If she recalled, he was 18 and just left college...she thought. She never bothered to read too much of their guard's bio. She grinned, her endoskeletal teeth showing. It would be fun to mess with him for a bit.
And so, she walked off, going deeper into the darkness, reaching the corridor leading to his office. She had thought of what she might do to scare him a bit. Maybe sneak up on him while he wasn't looking for her? Or maybe play a prank on him? She had given these two ideas a good thought and she was getting the chills of excitement just thinking about it. However, her train of thoughts had fallen short when she had reached a corner, eyeing the door to her right as if certain doom was looming inside. She shuddered, remembering what was inside.
The parts and storage room. The one room where the previous bots from the old restaurant were being held at. Chica had the unfortunate timing of getting to see them. They were old, extremely old. Rusted, with their entire frame work decaying. Their endoskeletons were showing, parts of them were tattered and destroyed, parts of them falling off. She had even seen how her previous self looked like. Arms torn off as its mouth was wide open, seeming about to split open. It seemed like she was screaming from the way she look. And she was huge compared to her. Chica shuddered. She had never seen anything so...pitiful. They were all just lying there...dead as can be. She had given the idea some thought in the past, how death for a robot must feel like. Never to be seen in the open world ever again. It was scary to think about. No other use but for spare parts. To be left forever, rotting in some room.
She shook her head sideways. Shouldn't think about that right now. There was a night guard to prank! She couldn't simply let the moment past. She had remembered that there was a camera somewhere in the darkness overhead, so she did her best to avoid it without causing too much noise. The guard's office was just ahead of her and she could already hear him shivering in fear. He was new, that she knew for sure, so he probably had no idea what to do when an animatronic was on the loose.
And there he was. Chica had to admit, despite his look of fear, he was a rather handsome individual. He had chestnut brown hair was blowing in the soft wind that the table fan blew at him with his pair of unusual amber irises scanning the darkness that was in front of him through his black framed glasses, trying to see if there was anything there. He was dressed in the usual uniform that standard guards wore, a dark blue uniform with the restaurant's logo printed on it with matching pants and a cap with the word 'Security' written in bolded black in front.
Chica decided it was best to react to his actions, as thus she waited. It only after a moment or so that the Jeremy took the flashlight on his desk and shone it in the dark corridor where Chica stood, revealing her to his eyes and causing him to yelp in surprise. He fumbled with the flashlight, turning it off and grabbing a Freddy mask from underneath the desk, placing it on his head, the eye sockets providing vision to him. Chica raised a brow and grinned. Whatever he was doing, it was awfully cute. She bent down, placing her two hands on the ground. Mangle had taught her how to do this, so it was the best time to use it since the situation called for it. Without hesitation, Chica leaped from her spot, her entire body rocketing towards the poor guard, who did nothing but let out a half scream before Chica successfully impacted with him, his chair now laid on the floor with his back against the wall.
Giggling at the sight of the distraught nightguard, Chica made her actual introductions with him. "Hiya there! My name's Mallory Chichi, but you can call me Chica!" She announced, only receiving a slight groan from him.
"P-Please don't h-hurt me..." He whimpered, unable to move due the animatronic was sitting on his lap, with her hands on his arms, pinning him to the wall. He quivered, his face looking away as he tried to avoid eye contact.
Chica cocked her head sideways and gave a grumpy look, pouting a little. "Hey now! Don't look away! I'm not gonna hurt you!" She replied, causing one of his eyes to open and peek her general direction. After a moment, with much encouragement from the robot, the nightguard turned his head back towards her. "Better! Now, time to take this thing off..." She trailed off, removing her grip from his arms and placing them on the mask, removing them in the process.
The guard coughed out for a moment before looking back at her. "Th-Thanks...The mask was kinda...funky" He thanked her, grinning sheepishly. Chica noticed he was wearing braces, which inwardly caused her to giggle at how cute he looked. She had heard of Mari talking about there was this one kid who looked adorably cute with glasses. There was just something odd with how the combination of the glasses and his braces made him look like a cute dweeb.
"Hehe! Oh! What's your name?" She asked in mock innocence, knowing full well she knew what his name was.
"J-Jeremy...Jeremy 'M' Fitzgerald" He reply meekly, causing Chica to giggle once again.
"Nice to meet you! I hope we can be best of friends!" Chica replied, giving him a huge hug which he was caught off guard with. She knew that meeting him face to face was a great idea. As of now, she could tell that this was going to be the start of a long-lasting friendship.
A beautiful long-lasting friendship.
"Here you go kids! Pizza's served!" Chica exclaimed, placing the tray on the table full of kids, to which they all hungrily grabbed a piece. The children screamed in delight from the taste of the fresh pizza, earning chuckles from their parents and from Chica as well. Despite having been a performer in the pizzeria for a while, she still couldn't help but smile at the sight. It was definitely a joy to hear the children laugh and see them look so joyous.
Chica looked around the room, noticing Freddy mingling with the kids, Bonnie was teaching a young girl how to use her guitar, Mangle telling stories to a group of children and from the sounds of laughter from the playroom, little BB was having fun playing a game of tag with the kids.
Suddenly, Chica had managed to faintly hear a sound coming from the corridor. It was a distinctly male, but she knew who it was. There was no mistaking it.
"Y-Yea, it's fine Mr Scott. Hopefully Mike will get better" The voice chuckled a while later.
Chica's mechanical heart skipped a beat or two and she smile sub-consciously. It was Jeremy! Oh joy! But why was he here...? Normally a guard by the name of Mike Schmidt would take the day shift...Or was Michael Smith? Chica never really paid too much attention to names unless it was important. It was quite odd really...She was never too fond of guards and yet, here she was excited to see Jeremy come about. In just the span of a week or so, they had developed a close bond with each other. They were as thick as thieves; nearly everything they did during the nightshift was done together. Just like a certain day guard and a certain bunny rabbit.
Ahh...She can still remember how it was just the two of them, with her sitting on his lap, snuggled in close and recalling tales of stories past. How their eyes would seemingly connect with each other even for a brief period of time...
...She was genuinely fond of him. And everything about him, really. His hair, his eyes, his handsome looks. That silly smile he makes. His cute braces...voice..and..
...
...
"Umm...Miss Chica? Are you alright?" A voice called out from behind Chica, snapping her from her apparent daydream.
She sighed. In all honesty...she was incredibly smitten by Jeremy. In fact she felt rather flustered whenever he compliments or cheers her up. His soothing voice calling her name always sends shivers down her spine. It almost feels as if she were in love...
...
No.
Chica shook her head. She was certain about it. She was in love...
Madly in love with a nightguard.
...
Chica turned around and replied to the worried child. "Oh don't worry about me! I'm fine! Now, be a good girl and go back to your seat, okay?" she smiled, patting the head of the young girl, to which she nodded and ran off.
"O-Oh! Surprised to see you here Chica!" The oh-so-familiar voice called out, causing her smile to widen. She turned around and was greeted by a smiling Jeremly. His amber eyes shone brilliantly and his looks being so prim and proper. "How are you?" He asked politely, walking closer to Chica until he was about an arms length away
Chica giggled. "I'm doing fine. That is, until you arrived". The nightguard gave a worried look, to which Chica replied to him in a playful tone. "Now, I'm doing great with my bestest friend here~!". She leaned close to him and gave him a friendly hug, to which Jeremy blushed from the unexpectedness. He nervously chuckled, causing Chica to giggle. She removed herself from the hug and asked, "So...Watcha doing here?"
"Well, Mike had to call in sick since he's down with the flu. So Mr Scott asked me to fill in for him. I'm going to be here for both the day and night shifts for a while" Jeremy explained, causing Chica's eyes to widened as her her smiled from earlier on turned to a grin. "Yea...Yay me..!" He chuckled, rubbing the back of his head.
"Oh my gosh that's great! We can spend more time together!" Chica exclaimed, unable to contain the glee that was evident inside of her.
"H-Hey! S-Stop! People are staring..!" Jeremy whispered towards the excited robot. He had seen quite a number of parents turn their heads towards them, giving the duo a weird look as they whispered something among themselves. Even some kids stopped what they were doing to stare at the duo, grinning at them and giggling. The two looked, in a sense, like a newly formed couple.
But they reminded themselves, they were merely friends. Close friends.
Very, very, very, close friends.
Chica leaned in closer to his face and pouted for a moment. "Well let them! Can't a girl be happy that she can spend more time with her bestie?" She replied in a hushed tone, causing Jeremy to sigh. He knew that this was already a battle lost.
Jeremy shook his head. It was best to leave things as it should be for now. He wouldn't want an animatronic performer to throw a tantrum in his direction. "...Err...Nevermind" He replied. Chica's pouting face left as quickly as it came, replaced with a huge smile. For one thing that Jeremy had to admit, it was quite cute on how she smiles. It was rather unnerving the first time he met her, but it nevertheless warmed his heart to see her do it. "...Well, since you're here, mind telling me what exactly does Mike do during his shift? I was never really briefed as what to do..." He explained, nervously chuckling.
Chica cupped her hands and tried to stifle a giggle, to which she failed horribly at doing so. "Sure! Follow me! I'll have you briefed in a jiffy!" She exclaimed, grabbing his wrist and pulling him out of the room, which he had an incredibly hard time trying to pry off. Who knew she had a really strong grip?
Once they left the room, Chica loosened the grip on his hand, which he was thankful for. If she had held on longer, he was sure that blood circulation wouldn't flow there, which would suck. It was his best hand after all. However, not even a moment later, he found his hand being held by her's which caused his face to red a bit. "Basically, Mike goes around checking on everyone every once in a while. And do make sure to check on Kids Cove to make sure Mangle doesn't get messed by the kids; and never let anyone get near to the parts and service room" She explained, her expression turning serious for a moment.
Jeremy nodded. He knew all too well that area was prohibited to the public. "All right...Anything else I need to know?"" Jeremy asked.
Chica hummed for a moment before something popped up in her mind, nodding. "Yep! Do drop by the prize corner from time to time. Mari sometimes needs help distributing prizes to the kids"
This caught Jeremy off guard. Mari? Is that a staff member? Why has he never heard of that name before?
From the evident confusion on his face, Chica realised one thing. "You don't know Mari?" She asked, earning a shake of his head. "You know that one music box you keep seeing on your shift?" She asked; he nodded. "Yea Mari is inside. She's a puppet. And you know how your boss kept telling you to wind the music box? Yea that's because she loves music and tends to get cranky when her music stops" She explained.
Jeremy let out an "Oh" in response. That was...kind of weird. A puppet being part of the Fazbear company? What next? A horror attractions featuring a decaying animatronic?
...
On second though, that seemed like a bad idea.
As the two of them continued walking to the security office, which also served as an information reception, the two of them bumped into a kid-like animatronic, Balloon Boy or BB for short. "Oh! Hi Mister Jeremy! Miss Chica!" He greeted them with youthful exuberance. The duo replied with a cheerful expression, happy to see a friend. However, a moment later, BB's face turned to one of confusion. "Hey...Where is Mister Mike?"
"Mike had to call in sick for maybe a couple of days, so I'm here to replace him for a while" Jeremy replied calmly, earning a small 'Ok' from the young robot.
"Does that mean you'll be joining us both day and night time?" BB asked, almost as if pleading.
Jeremy chuckled. BB always enjoy the times they hang out, wether it be simply to talk, eat, or play a couple of pranks here and there. "Yea buddy. Ol' Mister Jeremy will be spending a lot more time here" Jeremy replied, earning a small 'yay' from the young robot, who was clearly excited.
"Cool! Hey! Does that mean you will be spending more time with Miss Chica as well? The two of you are always together during your shift at night" BB asked in an innocent manner.
This caught the duo unprepared. Jeremy was chuckling nervously, rubbing the back of his head as Chica had her head turned away, so as to show off her extremely red cheeks, which didn't come from the blush marks that was implemented onto her. "Yea, I suppose so. That is, unless Chica doesn't want to" Jeremy tried to explain so as to not make things awkward.
The little kid animatronic merely chuckled before leaving, waving his hand and saying his goodbye. Jeremy shook his head and smiled. Such youthful bliss. To be ignorant of his surroundings like a normal kid. Just then, Jeremy heard Chica say, "I don't mind at all. In fact, I-I'd love to be with you"
Jeremy blushed. Hearing her say that, in addition to those baby-blue eyes of hers just made his heart skip a beat. She was just so beautiful. "Ehehe...Th-Thanks. Lucky me" Jeremy chuckled nervously, his blush never ceasing.
The duo continued on forth to the security room, which wasn't too far off. They still continued to talk, despite the slight tension in the air. However, along the way, Chica had unwittingly grasped his hand, which thankfully for her, Jeremy didn't realise. After a while, the duo had finally arrived at the office, where they were met with a particular individual.
She was rather tall, about the same height as both Jeremy and Chica, extremely slender and seemed to be wearing some sort of black latex, which showcased her curves in a rather revealing manner. She was holding some kind of paper in her long and slender black fingers, humming in deep thought. Though apparently, she must have heard the duo coming, as she turned around, revealing a white mask-like face with red blush marks.
"Oh! Goodness me, you startled me for a moment" She said, causing Jeremy to flinch a little. There was just some about her that unnerved him, yet he couldn't find the reason why. Was it the mask-like face?
"Mari! What on earth are you doing here?" Chica exclaimed as she sprinted towards her with a huge grin.
Jeremy looked in confusion for a moment as his brain was processing the information. Then, he face palmed and sighed. He should have known sooner! The signs were obvious. She was definitely designed to look like a puppet, and yet, she looked human as well. He shrugged it off. Damned technology was getting really spiffy nowadays.
"I was merely looking for Mike. He was supposed to help me with th-...Hang on, you seem familiar" The humanoid puppet, Mari, said as she walked towards Jeremy with a brow raised.
There was only one thing going through Jeremy's mind at the moment. And that was due to the fact that whoever designed her, was very fond of breasts. Because it seemed as though she bore a couple of E-cups, or larger. The two mounds kept on jiggling as she moved towards him, which was hypnotizing him.
"Aren't you that night guard?" Mari questioned, snapping Jeremy back to reality.
"U-Umm...Y-Yes" he replied in a meek tone.
Mari's gaze was piercing him thoroughly, analyzing him like some supercomputer. After a moment, she smiled and loosed her gaze. "I see...Well, do drop by later. I need some help with the kids and since Mike isn't here at the moment, I guess you will do" She said as walked by Jeremy. Before turning the corner, Mari looked at the duo a second time. "Oh and Chica, deary, you have some fine taste in night guards"
After that she left, puzzling the duo like some ancient riddle. Unfortunately, the both of them managed to unscramble her words, causing the both of them to blush madly. Chica tried her best to salvage the situation, but couldn't utter a single coherent word, stumbling upon her own sentences. Finally, after much painful trying, Chica gave up and pardoned herself from the office, making a run for it a moment later.
Jeremy was the only one left. After much hesitation, he sat down on the chair and merely pondered, "What was Mari really trying to say". He stayed quiet for a moment, his mind trying to deduce every possible reason, even going as far as think that Chica is smitten by him, to which he shook his head and discarded the thought.
There was no way that would happen. And besides, even if it was true, how would it work out?
Eventually, the day seemed to roll by quite quickly, and the pizzeria was just as busy as ever, though Jeremy was much more greatful at how the entire building was much more lively. If it wasn't for the fact that he needed to do some paperwork, he could very well start to like this shift in duty roster. Children were happily laughing about in the corridor in front of him as well as hearing their laughter from the vents, along with the sounds of metal clanking as they emerged from said vents with an animatronic or two on their tails.
As doing as told before, Jeremy had dropped by the prize corner to visit the only resident residing there. The atmosphere was much more lively and cheerful as compared to the dark dullness during the night. Jeremy had found quite a number of quirky items for sale; some shirts, toys, stuffed animals, hats and stuff of the like. It was quite the surprise when he found out that there were a lot of kids waiting to redeem their prizes. No wonder Mari had asked him to help out.
In the end, after many hours, Jeremy had to leave his dayshift, much to the bots dismay. BB wore a sad look on his face and begged him to stay a while longer, with the kids following suit as they had taken a liking to his somethings funny shenanigans. Freddy waved a hand and smiled as Jeremy returned the actions all the while with Bonnie trying her best to pry off the kids off of him with a small smile.
However, the only one who seemed to not be around when Jeremy was leaving was Chica. She was hugging her knees as she was seated next to a wall in the kids playroom. The sounds of kids saying goodbye only made her tighten the grip around herself. The day went by so quickly, all too quickly. How she would love for it to never end...
"Oh my! So there you are!" A slightly lady like voice emerged from the dark, causing Chica to look up. Her robotic eyes glowed green as her night vision switched on, finding out the voice came from Mangle, who was, more or less, mangled. It was a common sight but the workers didn't have to worry too much about fixing her back up, since it waspart of her design.
"..." Chica stayed silent, proceeding to lower her head and ignore her. Mangle, on the other hand, was having none of this.
Using whatever was still located on her, she crawled over to the gloomy robot and tilted her head. "What's wrong? You're not going to see Jeremy?" She asked, only earning silence in response.
'What for? He obviously wants to go rest' Chica thought gloomily.
Mangle looked at her with half lidded eyes as her snout frowned. "He wanted to see you before he wanted to leave, you know? He was worried about you looking all weird just before his shift ended" She said, causing Chica to look ul. Mangle smirked, "Off you go. He's waiting just outside of the pizzeria"
And just like that, Chica stood up and took off, her speed seemingly rivaling the speed of sound. As Mangle was left behind the dust cloud that had formed, she sighed before crawling over to the kids cove where she knew the repairman was waiting. Just as her form was about to enter the slight darkness, a smile could be seen forming.
Meanwhile, Chica continued to run to the front door, passing by Freddy and BB along with the kids. All of them had a confused look on their faces before merrily making their way back.
Chica had reached the front door, bursting them open with a loud thud. She scanned the area to find Jeremy, finqlly spotting him with his back against the wall of the building. His chestnut hair was softly blowing in the wind as he was staring off into the distance, his thoughts seemingly elsewhere. Finding that something was off, he looked around and found Chica staring at him.
The duo held their gazes firnly on each other for a moment, with Chica's pink cheeks glowing. After what felt like eternity, the duo had removed their gazes and shook their heads, with Jeremy forcing himself to run towards her until they were at arms length away.
"H-Hey..." Jeremy started off awkwardly, his cheeks flushed. "Umm...Sorry that I couldn't get to spend more time with you"
Chica's usual yellow self soon turned beat red as steam was started to erupt from inside of her. "O-O-Oh! I-It's fine! I mean...Y-You had a job to do...so...it ca-can't be helped!" Chica replied, stuttering more so.
"...I...Err..Yea..." Jeremy concluded. The duo stood there in awkward silence for a moment before Jeremy sighed and looked at Chica with a straight face. "Chica...Is there something wrong?" He asked in a worried tone.
"E-Ehh? Umm...No-Nothing! I'm fine.." Chica replied, awkwarly chuckling.
Jeremy sighed. "Chica...I know we've only been friends for about a week. But I can tell when something is chewing you on the inside. You can tell me, I'll undertsand" He said in a sincere tone, placing a hand on her shoulder.
Chica looked at him, feeling confortable within his grasps. His never faltering look ease whatever doubt she had inside of her as he knew, with the look of his, he was totally serious. Whenever she had troubles with anything, he would always help out.
Chica's voicebox sounded as if she had swallowed saliva before talking. "Umm..I.."
Jeremy's gaze deepened. Whatever she was worried about was definitely killing her inside. She wasn't her usual self.
"...I...I...!"
...
"Chica! It's getting late! The manager is getting worried about you still being up!" Freddy's voice boomed from behind the duo, coming from inside the building.
Chica, still feeling nervous, had given up. She looked down on the cold concrete groune for a moment before looking back up at Jeremy with a sad smile. "It's fine. I'll see you tonight then Jeremy!" She exclaimed beforerunning back into the building, her yellow slender body figure dissappearing into the dark hallway, leaving Jeremy standing outside.
Staring at the dark interior of the building through the glass windows for a moment or two, Jeremy left the vicinity eith a sigh. Still feeling feeling glum due to Chica's unusual odd self, Jeremy had set his objective straight in his mind. And that was to figure out what the hell is wrong.
Tonight was his next chance. He was determined to figure out.
