Trap

"There is no way in the world that this is going to work," Weiss said.

Yang smirked. "I think I know my sister a little better than you, Weiss."

"I'm with Weiss here," Blake said. "There is no way in the world that Ruby is going to fall for the old stick propping up a box with cookies under it trick. That barely works on random wild animals. I doubt it will work on Ruby."

"Just you wait."

One minute later, Ruby turned up.

"Oh, hey!" Ruby cried. "Cookies!"

Yang pulled on the string attached to the stick, and Ruby was promptly caught under the box.

Wordlessly, Weiss and Blake turned to each other and then covered their faces with their hands.

"What did I say?" Yang was grinning from ear to ear. "Nobody knows Ruby better than me."

"Help!" Ruby shouted. "A box fell me on me! And wait… there aren't even any cookies in this pack! These are fake cookies! Who would do such a thing?"

"Honestly," Blake sighed as she walked over to the box. "Only Ruby could fall for something like that."

The next day…

Blake looked at the fake can of tuna and then at Yang's grinning face as the blonde lifted up the box that had fallen on her.

"…" Blake glared. "Not one word."

"She's a fiend, isn't she?" Ruby growled, jabbing one finger at her sister. "First she gets me with fake cookies and then she gets you with fake tuna. Is there no end to her villainy?"

"Just be glad I used fake tuna and not a laser pointer," Yang said. "Because that would have been even more hilarious."

Author's Notes

As always, I do not own RWBY, and I am not making any money off of this.

I have absolute confidence that this would actually work. I suppose if you wanted to lure Weiss, you'd probably just have to put a scantily clad Ruby under the box or something.

As always, I appreciate feedback. Reviews and comments are welcome.
