Roses are red,

Violets are blue,

John Watson once said

"You didn't come to me,

So I'll come to you."

There's blood on the floor,

And tears in his eyes,

This is the night

That John Watson dies.

Footsteps on the stairs,

And a deep baritone voice,

"John! I'm alive!"

Not one single noise.

He runs all around

Looking for John,

He had a gut feeling

That something was wrong.

He runs to the loo,

And there in the tub,

John Watson's wrists

Are gushing out blood.

Sherlock stops then he screams,

Then cries out John's name,

He came back, came all this way!

Just to see John again.

He drops to his knees

And proceeds to cry

This is the night

That John Watson dies.

Sherlock sobs as he cries,

And hugs John's body tight,

This isn't how

They were supposed to reunite!

He rocks his friends corpse,

And kisses his head,

Wishing to God

That John wasn't dead.

He takes out his knife,

And holds it to his own,

This was the last time

Sherlock's eyes shone.

They're finally together

With whom they had missed,

And that was the first time of many

That Sherlock and John kissed.
