Regret...

Otae Shimura always dream to marry someone who can meet her standard. A man who can fulfill her dream to rebuild their dojo, her father's legacy. And now, that dream wasn't a dream anymore when she met a good-looking, rich Bakufu top official who willingly married her.

She once a poor, now in wealth. Just like Cinderella from rags to dress. She's living in a palace, just like in her dream. And despite the fact it's huge and wide compare to the one she lived before, it seems so small and nowhere to go.

Otae glance at her expensive wrist watch to check if she's on time. She check her mobile phone to see if she miss any calls. She elegantly exit from her limo, scan herself and fix her kimono. She then put on her sunglass, to hide the sadness and longing looks in her eyes. She owns a things she never had before, yet those things never satiated her needs.

It's a cherry blossom festival. Shinpachi invites her and insists to join them to watch the blooming trees just like they used to do. But one thing keep stopping her from to do so... is she still belongs to this place she left a quite long ago?

She pretend and try to ignore, but still her heart aches to glance at the kids with blonde and silver hair running, laughing, playing around the cherry tree.

Otae continue to walk until she reach the spot where her brother with the rest sitting and waiting for her arrival. Just like as she expect them to do, they're waving and smiling genuinely at her.

They might not realize it, but the woman she used to be was no longer exist. She may be look strong and firm from the outside, but nearly shattered in the inside. She nodded her head as a response and bitterly smile as she avoid that particular direction.

Nobody knows she suppose, that every time she sees him nor just to hear his name all it goes; those expensive and wonderful things around her turned into nothing like a dross.

She may have all the wealth in this world, nor have all the diamonds and crystals a woman like her can wish for. But one thing is for sure, he's the only one she's asking for.

She always thought that she did what her heart and mind tell her so. She keeps telling to herself that she can never be wrong. Yet whenever their path cross, her heart feel the pain of regret and a great loss.

She secretly watch him behind her sunglass, as the guy with a silver hair put a pretty flower on the woman's blonde hair. She always thought that she should accept the flowers he offers her, instead she grab and shove it on his face.

She watch the woman as she took the man's hand and lock it with hers, pulling him closer till they inch away. How she wished that she hold his hand more tighter, instead she let it go and push him far away.

He gently wraps his arms around her tiny waist and slowly begun to sway. How she wish she agreed to dance with him, and now he's dancing with another woman in a lovely day.

Time was passing so slow. Just like that time when he lazily walk with her in a snow. How she wish she just enjoy that time with him, instead she punch him and walk away.

Slowly tears of regrets roll down on her cheek as she close her eyes. Not wanting to witness the love they share together. Eyes locked with a smile of joy as they moved and swayed in a dance of their love forever.

How she wish that the woman in his arms won't be alarm. That once upon a time, she once his woman who misses his warm loving arms.
