After a long wait.. here it is!

We walked into our room and I showed Amari the beds we had made for the boys in the secondary chamber.

"We'll have to make a bassinet before the baby arrives, but that shouldn't take long." I said as we walked back into our bedroom, letting Amari sit down on the bed while we waited for the boys.

"I'm guessing the company knows about the boys?" She asked as she lay down.

"I told them the day after the boys arrived. They were ecstatic. I wish you could have been there, though." I told her and she nodded.

"We will have to see them all later." She told me and I agreed. "Now do you think any of your Ma's old dresses would fit me?"

"I'm sure they will, Ari. We will get some new dresses and clothes made for you and the boys as soon as the mountain is up and fully running again. We have been working on clearing the debris and getting the mines working so that we have trade materials for food and supplies." I told her. "I have been overseeing some of the work during the night while the kids are sleeping with Fili here keeping an ear out for them, and he does the day shift, though most of the time Grayson likes to tag along with him."

"I'll be able to help in a day or two as well." She said and I immediately shook my head.

"You've just woken up from a coma, Amari. You were severely injured, and you are with child, you need to rest. Fili and I can handle the rest." I told her sternly.

"I know you can, Kili, but I need to do this for myself. I can keep the boys with me while I do something, as long as I am actually doing something. I can't just stay cooped up in here like an invalid and you know that. So you can either give me an easy job or I'll assign myself to a hard one, which is it going to be?" She said in the voice that I knew meant that she wasn't going to back down.

"Fine, you can help with the infants and children in the healing ward, but I will take Hayden and Fili will take Grayson during the day. I know how they can be now, and you don't have to do it alone anymore." I told her.

She nodded in agreement right before we heard a knock at the door. I knew it was Fili and Thorin with the boys.

"Come in." I shouted and I heard the door open, seeing my little boys run through it, each with new toys. Thorin and Fili followed after them and I walked over to Fili. "Can you stay with Ari and the boys for a minute while I talk with Uncle?" I asked him.

"Of course, brother." He said patting me on the back as he walked in to sit down in the chair, picking up Grayson as he went.

"I'll be right back, Ari." I told her before motioning Thorin to follow me outside of the room.

"You wished to speak to me?" Thorin asked as we stood in the hall outside the room.

"I wish to marry Amari as soon as possible. I know that she would rather do so before she grows round with our child, because I know she values what people think of her, and soon it will be unmistakable. Will you allow the ceremony two weeks from now? It has to be enough to make preparations, but I'm sure that she will only want the company to be witnesses." I asked him, nervous that he would say no.

"A royal wedding in two weeks time it is, then. Talk to the elves, "Thorin spat the word in distaste, "about a dress for Amari and inform them of her condition, and I will handle the rest." He told me and I smiled.

"Thank you, Uncle." I told him and he grabbed both of my shoulders.

"You have made me proud, you and your brother both. You have grown before my own eyes and continue to amaze me. Your father would have been just as proud as I, if not more, and your Ma will be as well, when she arrives." Thorin told me and it brought tears to my eyes. He rested his forehead against mine for a second before pulling away. "Now get in there with your One and children." He said, ruffling my hair before walking away.

I walked back inside, noticing that the boys were in bed with Amari, both snuggled into her sides as she sang them the misty mountains song. Fili nodded to me and left as I walked over to lie in the bed next to them. Once they were asleep, she turned to me with teary eyes.

"I've missed them so much. There were points in this quest that I feared we would never have a moment like this." She told me, "That I would never see them again."

"I know, I feared as well. But now we don't have to worry. It's over. They are here, the quest is over, and your task is complete. The only thing we have to worry over now is taking care of our sons, giving them a healthy sibling, and getting married in two weeks." I told her, not missing her reaction to the last bit.

"Married… two weeks?" She asked, worried she heard wrong.

"I've already gotten uncle's approval." I told her proudly. "I hope two weeks isn't too soon for you."

"It's perfect, Kili." She said, beaming at me. "I was worried that if it were any later, I would be showing too much, and of course I wanted to get married before we had the baby."

"I told Uncle that's what you would say." I told her, laughing.

"You know me so well." She told me, smiling.

The next two weeks flew by as I watched in amazement as Amari mothered our sons. The more she healed, the more she did. Within days, she insisted on working with the infants in the healing ward on top of getting preparations ready for our wedding.

I had asked the Elves to make her dress, and they had arrived with it only yesterday. Today was the day we would be married, our only witnesses being the company, Gandalf, Bard and his children from Laketown, Lord Elrond of Rivendell, and even Lady Galadriel of Lorien.

The Lady had whisked Amari away with Sigrid as soon as we rose this morning to get her ready. I had gotten ready with the help of Fili, and had been pacing back and forth for the last half hour, just waiting for midday.

"You ready, brother?" Fili asked.

"I've been ready, Fee." I told him honestly.

I heard a knock on the door and Thorin came in.

"It's time, Kili." He said, placing both hands on my shoulders. "Cherish her and your children. Not many are as lucky as you." He told me.

"I know, Uncle. I will cherish her and our children until my dying breath, you can be sure of that." I told him honestly. He gave me a smile, and turned to lead Fili I to the gathering hall where our wedding was taking place.

As we arrived in the hall, our guests were already there, waiting. Thorin led me to my spot, while Fili stood behind me.

Bofur began playing his flute and the doors opened, revealing Amari, followed by Lady Galadriel and Sigrid, who was holding the hands of our sons. My focus was solely on Amari is she walked toward me in a beautiful silvery dress, her long dark hair flowing in curls down her back, laced with small flowers. She was the most beautiful being in all Middle Earth.

She walked up beside me and I grabbed her hands, squeezing, still careful of hurting her arm.

"You look beautiful." I whispered to her as we stood, waiting for Thorin to begin.

The actual ceremony only took about 15 minutes from beginning to end, and it was over before I knew it.

"You're my wife." I told Amari after the ceremony was finished.

"I am." She said, kissing me. "And Fili's watching the boys tonight after the feast." She whispered in my ear.

My wonderful readers,

I know it's been obscenely long since I have last updated most of my stories. I apologize immensely for this, but I just haven't had the time. I am a wife and mother of two boys (5 and 6 years old) and I work a full time job, have the kids basketball practices, soccer practices, I volunteer for the local museum overseeing programs and events, while working on the history of my hometown as well. I am also writing a book, which has been on hold for the past two years. When I am able to write, I find myself getting writers block easily anymore because my mind is split in so many directions. I will finish all of my stories. It's part of my New Year's resolution for 2018. When I started them all, I was a stay-at-home mom and my boys were little. I have a lot more on my plate now. I've had several people comment on my stories lately saying that I've abandoned them, wanting me to pass on the reins, but they are my stories, and I want to finish them. I hope you all can be patient enough while I can gather my thoughts enough to write them, but I promise, I will. Don't count me out just yet.
