(A/N) I'm back! Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. I know it has been awhile. My laptop is running on its last leg and I have been unable to write other than on paper. I finally got this typed up so could post it and then the laptop crashed. (Happy holidays to me!) I have the issue temporarily resolved now so without further ado, here is the next chapter. It might be awhile between updates but like I said before, I will finish it eventually. I will also keep working on Something Real but it has the same constraints at the moment.
Please review and let me know what you think! Hope it's worth the wait. It's pretty fluffy. ;-)
Oh, and I still can't claim Chuck as my own, as cool as that would be it wasn't in my stocking.
Sarah was watching him sleep again as they made the flight to their vacation destination. She hadn't told him where they were going and he had seemed ok with just going with the flow. She had packed for him and told him he only needed to worry about getting on the plane. He didn't ask questions, he didn't make any jokes, and he was generally quiet. He had fallen asleep as soon as they were in the air, which had surprised her. His head was leaned against the window as she had insisted he take the inside since she was his only protection for the trip. She watched his face and noticed that his usual relaxed sleeping smile was not there. He was almost scowling in his sleep and had deep lines on his forehead. She reached her hand out and ran her fingers across his forehead softly, following the deep lines again and again until his face started to relax.
"Oh Chuck." She whispered softly to her sleeping boyfriend. "I miss your smiles. I never realized how much I looked forward to them until you stopped. We are going to make you smile again, I promise." She leaned over and placed her lips softly against his. "I love you Chuck." She said softly and leaned against his shoulder and found the sandman herself.
Chuck woke up much later and ran his hand across his face. He had a flat spot from the plane window and it was kind of sore. He looked down at his other arm and realized it was completely wrapped up in his beautiful girlfriends arms, she was wrapped around him like a teddy bear and sleeping fairly hard with her face pressed against his shoulder. He stopped and just stared for a moment. She looked so young when she was asleep. Almost as if years of gunplay and deceit had never been a part of her life, she looked like she could be the girl next door. The unbelievably hot girl next door. Chuck thought to himself with a small smile. He leaned in to her and kissed the top of her head. He turned to look out the window again and a hand came up to his jaw and turned him back to the most captivating blue eyes he had ever seen.
"Hey you." She said in a gravelly whisper and kissed his lips. "You fell asleep and I couldn't not cuddle with you so I guess I fell asleep too." She said with an embarrassed grin.
"No complaints here!" Chuck said with a smile and kissed her again. "I do however need to use the facilities so I am going to need my arm back…" Chuck said with a sheepish grin.
Sarah looked down at their arms and smiled. "What if I don't want to let you go?" she said with her eyebrow raised.
Chuck just looked at her with a blank stare. "Um, well… I am not sure why you want me to not go to the bathroom but …"
Sarah leaned in to him and whispered so only he could hear, "What if I want to come with you?"
Chuck swallowed hard and continued to stare at the beautiful woman sitting beside and somewhat on top of him. The thought of touching Sarah right now brought all sorts of things to attention but as he stared at her beautiful face he had a sudden stab of guilt run through him. He reached out and ran his hand down the side of her face. She smiled softly and leaned into his touch. "I feel bad enough that the first time we finally got to be with each other it was in a bathroom. The next time we get to will not be in another bathroom, nor will it be nearly as … frantic as it was last time. We deserve better." Chuck said with a sincerity laced with pure emotion.
Sarah looked confused. "Frantic? Really? Why in the world do you feel bad about that? It was more like two years of pent up energy! I think our first time was amazing, it was so … hot and …" Sarah was glazing over as she started thinking about how she had straddled him against the tub. Chuck grabbed her face and tilted it so he could whisper in her ear. One hand slowly started grazing her skin on her arm and the other found its way to her inner thigh. Sarah froze as she was quickly brought back to reality by his touches.
"I want to lay you down on a bed of feathers with the finest silk sheets. I want to take all your clothes off and kiss, lick, suck on, and caress every single inch of your beautiful body." Chuck kissed her softly right behind her ear and down a bit on her neck. She shivered and a soft moan escaped her lips. Chucks hands kept sliding up and down softly and he kept right on whispering. "I want to make love to you Sarah. I want to spend hours worshiping you and making you feel like the center of my world. Anyone can give you "hot" Sarah, and I promise you I will again. But this time … this time I want to give you it all, everything I have dreamed about doing for you since I first knew I wanted you. Will you let me make love to you?" Chuck asked her softly and again kissed her on her neck.
Sarah was truly speechless. She had never felt like she was currently feeling in her entire life. This man had managed to get her completely hot and bothered and make her feel like the most important thing in the world in a few short sentences. This was again one of the moments she really couldn't believe he wanted her over someone else, he was to perfect to be hers. But here he was, asking to make love to her later instead of taking her in a dirty airplane bathroom now, like she asked. What man does that? My Chuck does.
"Sarah? Are you okay?" Chuck had stopped to look at her while she had been silently processing his amazingly candid request.
"Yes." She said softly.
"Good, you went quiet on me I thought …" Chuck started.
"No Chuck. I mean … yes … I want you to … make love to me." Sarah said with a bit more volume but none of the confidence she intended.
"Don't sound so excited." Chuck said with a small frown.
"Oh Chuck, you have no idea right now. You just whispered amazing things in my ear that made me even more … ummm … excited than I was before. And then you proceed to give me a solid, romantic, loving reason to wait even longer to take care of that so forgive me, I am still trying to remember my name." Sarah said and she leaned in and kissed his now smiling face. She let go of his arm and he climbed around her and headed down the aisle to the bathroom. She shook her head and smiled as he ducked in to the small airplane facility. Maybe that wasn't such a great idea anyway, he can barely fit in there by himself.
She began thinking about what Chuck had described to her as he was stroking her so softly. The whole idea of making love had never appealed to her before now. She really wasn't so sure what the difference would be. For her sex had always been just that, sex. The things Chuck talked about were above and beyond anything she had ever experienced though. The thing was, the first time with Chuck was already different for her, from everyone else before him. She had purposefully engineered a scenario to create a comfortable atmosphere for herself, because it wasn't on his turf or hers. She seduced him in the bathroom for a reason, she doubted he had ever been with anyone else in there, and she certainly hadn't. That was her way of maintaining her mental control with him the first time, because she knew just how out of control finally having him was going to make her. She wanted him slightly off balance because she was scared. She was still terrified of the raw passion and emotions she had for him, she wanted his game to be off because she was pretty sure hers would be. Then it happened. It was nothing like she expected and it was more than she had ever even thought it could be. He had surprised her again and stripped away that last layer of fear. They had sex in the most uncomfortable room of the whole house and he had shown her that no matter where they were, they were going to be explosive together. They fit together in ways she never thought possible, physically she was positive he was meant for her. She honestly almost felt bad that Chuck was disappointed in their first time, almost. It was still the best sex she had ever had so she had a hard time really feeling that bad about it. Especially when I will have my whole life to make it up to him. She was brought out of her daydream by Chuck tapping her on her shoulder.
"Can I get back to my protected inside bubble?" Chuck said sarcastically. Sarah grimaced at his tone and moved her legs aside and as soon as he sat down she grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled him within an inch of her face.
"You may be my boyfriend but I am still your handler Chuck and you are still the Int … you are still important to other people that I happen to work for. Don't make me feel bad because I still have a job to do. I try to make it as non intrusive as possible and you could do well to remember that, I'm not Casey." She dropped his collar and sat back in her chair with a huff, crossing her arms in front of her and staring down the aisle towards the cockpit.
Chuck sighed and shook his head. "I'm sorry. You're right. I won't say anything anymore." He looked over at Sarah and she didn't seem to be listening to him so he leaned his head against the window again and stared out at the clouds.
"I love you Chuck, even beyond the job I am always going to protect you. Please stop being mad at me for it." Sarah said quietly as she wiped a tear from her face. Chuck looked over at her and caught her hand and pulled it towards him, bringing her close and hugging her.
"I'm not mad at you for protecting me Sarah. I could never be mad at you for that, you have saved mine and my family's life more times than I can count. It's not you at all. It's not even Casey. Gruff as he is I know he means well. It's the situation, the fact that I can't even go on vacation without being reminded constantly about what's sitting in my head. It just never goes away, ya know?" Chuck said quietly.
Sarah backed away from him with tears in her eyes. "I'm sorry. You know I can't fix that yet though Chuck. It is what it is, but after this little vacation Chuck I think you might be … at least better compensated for what's constantly hanging over your head, or in your case in your head."
Chuck just looked at her and then busted out laughing. She began laughing at him and pretty soon they were both laughing. Other people on the plane were now not so engrossed in themselves and were staring at them from every angle, which made them both laugh even harder. It was quite awhile later when they both finally calmed down. Chuck reached out for her hand and she wrapped her fingers in his.
"I love you Sarah Walker. I love that you kick ass for me and protect me. I love that you think you have to fix things for me. I love that you have patience for my childish things and hobbies. I love the ways you smile at me, all of them, even the I-have-messed-up-the-mission-and-I'm-gonna-get-yelled-at-later smile." Chuck smiled at her and bounced his eyebrows as she giggled at his description of her smile. Then his face got serious and he looked down at their intertwined fingers. "I love the way your hand feels in mine. I … I just love you. I love the whole package. The parts you are proud of, the parts you don't like, the parts you are scared of, the parts you don't know yet, and even the parts I don't know yet. All of you. Don't ever think that I am mad at you for being you, it will never happen."
"How can you love what you don't know?" Sarah asked quietly, she looked scared to know what his answer was. It was one of her biggest fears about being with Chuck, there was so much about her he didn't know and she couldn't tell him. Though some was confidential, some she just didn't know how to without scaring him away.
"I know I will love it all, because I love you. When you are ready to share your skeletons I will be right here to kick them out of the closet with you. We all have them Sarah, just because yours are different than most doesn't make them any less a part of your past, they are just pieces of who you are now, pieces Sarah."
Sarah smiled at his response. Pieces of her, she felt like that was Chuck telling her he knew. She was just as broken as he was, and he not only knew it, he embraced it. He wasn't scared of her past because it made up the woman she was when she was with him. He still was patiently waiting to help her when she was ready to put her own pieces together. He was ready to help her not be broken either. She suddenly felt more comfortable than she could ever remember being in her whole life. He is the most amazing man I have ever met, and he really, truly loves me. ME! Sarah Walker the con artist killer spy is loved by this selfless sexy nerd. He makes it all worth it, all of it. Everything I have done and gone through to get here. Here to this moment. Neither of us has to be broken anymore. "How do you do that?" Sarah asked him with a smile.
"Do what?" Chuck asked with a confused look on his adorable face.
"Make anything possible and everything better with a few words." Sarah said sincerely as she looked in his eyes.
Chuck smiled that smile and leaned towards her, grazing his lips across hers he whispered. "Because anything is possible and everything is better when we are together." And he then captured her lips in a slow and deep kiss. He brought his hand up to the side of her face and continued to dominate her mouth with his amazing tongue, pulling back occasionally to let her breathe a bit he kept the heavy make out session going for quite some time. Sarah had begun to lose herself in the moment and was again getting to close to that point of no return. She couldn't think about anything but his mouth on hers and just as she was about to put her hands somewhere on Chuck that wasn't really appropriate for their current public level he pulled away and kissed her lips softly before leaning back in to his own seat.
Sarah gaped at his abrupt ending and tried to control her panting. She was so wound up at this point that she was shaking. Chuck reached across the armrest for her hand and she pushed it away. "Don't touch me right now Chuck."
Chuck looked at her with a concerned scowl. "What? W…Why?"
Sarah turned to him and hissed, "If you touch me right now at all I am going to mount you where you sit, give me a minute unless you want to put on the biggest display of PDA you have ever seen, much less been a part of!"
Chuck stared for a moment and suddenly his whole face began turning various shades of pink and red. He slowly got a giant grin on his face and tried to look at the seat in front of him rather than at her, he kept sneaking glances at her though, watching her labored breathing and shaking hands. She kept running her palms across the top of her thighs fairly hard, her finger tips whitening with every push and pull. He leaned in and said quietly, "I will make it up to you, I promise. It will be worth the wait."
Sarah stopped kneading her thighs and looked at him. She looked up at the ceiling and let out a long even breath. "I know it will Chuck. I know it will. Doesn't change the fact that I have been wet since we started this plane ride, and you have repeatedly made it worse. And for the first time in two years I have an outlet for this issue but he has decided teasing me relentlessly is much more fun. I'm going to the bathroom." Sarah stood up and started to make her way to the bathroom without saying anything else. Chuck grabbed her arm before she made it all the way out in to the aisle and she fell back in to her seat.
"Do you have any idea how hard it is for me to say no to you in any capacity? If you think this is hard for you …" Chuck grabbed her hand and placed it on his extremely hard member that was trying desperately to become one with the zipper of his jeans. Sarah gasped and instinctively squeezed the heated bulge. Chuck moaned and pulled her hand away. "No cheating Sarah, if I can wait like this than you can wait like that."
Sarah made a small pouting face but nodded her head in agreement. "Fine, but just for the record that wasn't fair."
"Well what you were about to go do wasn't fair either. I have been there for all the build up so I think it's only fair I get to be there for the final act." Chuck said quietly with an evil grin on his face.
Sarah laughed. "Well, when you put it that way …" She leaned in and kissed him softly. "I would appreciate it if you refrain from any more "build up" until we can actually follow through with the "final act". I have no more room to "build-up" if you know what I mean. I will fall, and I will take you with me so be good." Sarah smile sweetly and leaned back in her seat.
Chuck swallowed hard as he imagined Sarah "falling". "Deal." He managed to squeak out. Sarah smiled again at his adorable nervousness.
The flight attendant came on the speakers shortly after, notifying everyone that they were approaching their destination and needed to find their seats and prepare for landing. Chuck still had no idea where they were.
As if Sarah sensed his question she answered suddenly. "Don't get excited Chuck. We aren't there yet. We have one more flight." She looked at him and winked. She looked down and a smile broke across her face. Sarah Walker giggled. "You'll love it Chuck, I promise." She buckled in and leaned back, grabbing his hand after he buckled in they watched out the window as they approached the airport.
After they landed Sarah went to a Security office that was right by the exit. She left Chuck in the front office.
"Chuck, just stay here until I come back. I have to get a few things taken care of for the next leg of our trip." She leaned down to his face and kissed him softly. "I will be right back handsome." She smiled and winked at him then turned and disappeared through another door.
Chuck stood up and walked around the room he was in. His legs needed to stretch for awhile. He had been sitting for far too long already on the first flight. He slowly paced around the room, looking at all the random things that were hanging on the wall. There were framed copies of flight rules and regulations, a few maps, and a few pilot licenses. He began reading through some of the rules to pass the time. He looked up when the door he had came in opened and a petite brunette flight attendant walked in the room. She seemed startled that he was there and stopped and stared at him questioningly.
"Uh, I am waiting for someone. She went that way to make some arrangements for our next flight." Chuck said as he pointed at the door Sarah had walked through earlier.
The brunette smiled softly and seemed to relax. She finished coming in to the room and sat down right next to where Chuck was standing.
"Private flights, yeah. That's what I'm here for. They called and said an extra attendant was needed. I'm Toni." She said with a smile and reached her hand out for Chuck to shake.
"Charles, but most just call me Chuck." Chuck said with a smile as he shook her perfectly manicured hand.
"Well Chuck, this room tends to be like a waiting room at a hospital, for me any way. I spend a lot of time here "waiting" for them to be ready for me. I can honestly say this is the first time there has ever been a good looking guy to hang out with while I'm here!" Toni said with a wink and a flirty smile. Chuck laughed a bit uncomfortably but kept a smile on his face through the blush that claimed his skin. She giggled at his response. "He blushes too? Wow. Now that is interesting." She said teasingly and placed her hand on his arm. "So Chuck, business or pleasure?"
Chuck just stared at her. He was unsure how to answer or even if he should. He shook his head and smiled at her. "Well, the flights are private right?" he asked her. She nodded slowly, as if unsure where he was going with this question. "Well it wouldn't be very private if I told every pretty face where I was going now would it?"
Toni slowly smiled and shook her head slightly as well. "Tall, dark, handsome, and mysterious. Just my luck." She said softly. Chuck never heard her though because as she was saying it another door opened and Sarah came walking in, all of Chuck's attention was immediately focused on the blonde.
Sarah on the other hand was completely focused on the small brunette who currently had her hand on Chuck's arm, she was desperately trying to school her features but she was experiencing the biggest wave of jealousy she had possibly ever felt in her entire life. She forced a smile to her face and said, "Are you ready to go baby?" with the most possession she could possibly put in her voice. She walked right up to Chuck who had speedily stood to his feet when she entered the room. He was looking at her with that smile on his face and her approach softened a bit, she knew full well he hadn't even really noticed the brunette that had sidled up to him. She smiled and decided she still wanted to mark her territory so she reached up and pulled his face towards hers for a slow and sensual kiss. Chuck was tense at first and she knew he was fighting the display in front of his new friend, but after she slid her tongue across his pulled her close and wrapped her up in his arms, deepening the kiss considerably. Sarah fought the urge to moan and throw him back in the chair, and instead she pulled away. She had proved her point and if she let Chuck go any further they would be facing the same issues as before they landed. "Easy there my nerd, unless you have decided your waiting rule no longer applies?" Sarah said jokingly with her eyebrow raised.
Chuck swallowed the lump in his throat and picked his coat up off the chair behind him. "Lead the way." He said softly. Sarah grabbed his hand and pulled him towards the door she had come out of. Chuck stopped as they were passing through and he turned around. "It was nice to meet you Toni. I hope you don't have to wait too long to leave!"
Toni smiled at him across the room. Of course he's taken by some leggy supermodel blonde. "Nice to meet you to Chuck. I hope you have a nice flight."
Sarah answered for him as she pulled him the rest of the way through the door. "Oh he will." She said suggestively. She then looked back at him and studied his face with a slight scowl. "I can't leave you alone for a minute, even in an empty room! Always with the brunettes!" She not so jokingly said as she kept walking with his hand firmly grasped in hers. Chuck just lowered his head and chuckled.
Sarah led Chuck through the secure passage ways of the airport. It was the corridors for dignitaries and other high profile people. It led to the different gates of the private section of the airport. Sarah came up to a door and walked through it out on to the tarmac. Chuck followed behind her, never letting go of her hand as she walked in between luggage carts and various employees. Soon they came up to a small plane that was being checked over by multiple men. Sarah walked up to one of them and began talking in a language he didn't understand. The man led them around the plane and pointed at various parts of the plane and back at his clipboard. Sarah followed along, nodding occasionally and asking questions every now and then. When they seemed to have concluded their conversation they shook hands and Sarah pulled Chuck to the stairs and began to climb up. She pulled Chuck in to the cockpit and sat him in the passenger seat.
"Buckle in Chuck, and take that set of cans off the yoke and put them on." Sarah said as she pointed to the headset in front of him. He did as she asked, still not understanding why they were in the cockpit. He watched Sarah sit in the pilot seat and begin flipping various switches and dials as she buckled her seat belt and put on her headset. Soon he could hear her voice as she spoke to the control tower and taxied on to the runway. He watched in awe as she sped them down the runway and pulled them in to the sky with the ease of a professional. When they evened out she turned and looked at him with a slightly shy smile. "You have been pretty quiet Chuck, what are you thinking about over there?"
Chuck just gave her the biggest smile he could possibly provide and said simply, "Just how freaking amazing you are."
Sarah blushed and reached over and took off his headset. She took hers off as well and leaned over and placed a kiss on his lips, very softly. "Don't you ever forget it."
"Never gonna happen, that's a promise." Chuck said seriously as he reached up and stroked the side of her face. Sarah smiled and pulled away slowly, bringing her focus back to flying the small plane. Chuck settled back in his seat. Destination unknown here we come.
