(Hello, my name is Fudge, or, I suppose on here it's still ThatMentalEagle. How do you change names again, anyways? It's been two long months since I updated this and I'll explain why another time, but I should give you this story now. It's been a long time since I've wrote anything so you'll have to bear with me. It's a fluff, as usual, so grab your pillows, and maybe have a smile on your face, I hope you enjoy.)

The rain annoyed Yoshiki. The school also annoyed Yoshiki. The only thing that didn't annoy Yoshiki was the fact that Naomi and Morishige waited for him to get out of detention. "Thanks for waiting, that teacher is a pain in the ass." Yoshiki said, as they began to walk down the corridor. "Well, you wouldn't have been in detention if you hadn't told him that." Morishige replied, looking to his left to see the irritated blonde. Morishige and Naomi had been in a relationship for months. Satoshi was with Seiko and Yoshiki, well, Yoshiki was alone. The only people who he spoke to anymore were the two beside him, as the other three gave up on him. He couldn't control his drinking, and at a party, he stabbed Seiko with a bottle and broke Satoshi's jaw, before he threw a hammer at Morishige. This event not only hurt them, very badly, actually, but it hurt Yoshiki, he couldn't believe he did it and it was followed by at least six suicide attempts. Shortly afterwards, Satoshi and Seiko started speaking terribly about him and Ayumi stayed away, too fearful to be hurt herself. That was a while behind them though and he learned to accept their hate for him.

The arcade was warm and busy, with people playing games all around them the three had some sound to listen to while they played "road battler 4" in the corner of the area. It was almost 6pm and Morishige was ready to go home. Naomi went with him and that left him alone for another night. He spent a few more minutes at the arcade, playing "immortal combat" before heading back to his house. The heavy rain soaked through his torn school jacket and onto his thin body. His lack of food was tearing him apart, and no one wanted to hire a teenage alcoholic. He was just about to enter his apartment building, when a weak girl caught his eye. She seemed to faint in front of him before blood began to pool around her stomach. Yoshiki looked around quickly before darting over to her, dialling 110 and picking her up in his hands. He held the apparent stab wound tightly and ran into his apartment, waiting for someone to answer the phone. His phone died and he cursed loudly, throwing it across the room before pulling his jacket off and tying it around the stab wound. He ran to the kitchen and pulled his first aid kit out, going back towards the injured girl and pulling out a bandage. He ripped his jacket off her, and... Quickly unbuttoned her shirt before wrapping the bandage up tightly and holding down on it. He pulled out a painkiller and injected it into her, mumbling to himself worriedly. The blood seemed to stop pouring out, so he relaxed, going to get some water and sat back next to her, keeping an eye on the wound. He eventually fell asleep, gazing at the girl as he dozed off. It hasn't occurred to him who he had helped, as he hadn't even looked at her face.

Yoshiki woke after a few hours, looking over at the girl and remembering the earlier events. He hadn't actually seen who he had helped, because her jumper hood had covered her face. He made sure the heating was on before removing her soaked Jumper and putting it on the radiator.

He grabbed a blanket from his bed and wrapped it round her, going over to the phone he threw across the room earlier that day. He put it on charge and texted Morishige with a simple "come over, quickly" before looking back to the girl. She had woken up and was looking around, before her eyes locked on Yoshiki. She let out what sounded like a whimper and tried to get up, falling to the floor and grunting as the cut hit the rough carpet. Yoshiki quickly walked over and sat her back on the couch, before sitting beside her. He took a look at her face and and turned away quickly, a blush forming on his face. He didn't even know that he had brought an injured Ayumi into his flat and he felt very upset about it. They hadn't exactly spoke in a while and she was terrified of him. The strange thing was that she was standing by his apartment at 6:20pm, seeing as her house was a few blocks away and no one lived by him. He looked back over at the bluenette before sighing. "Hey, Shinozaki... It's been a while, hasn't it?" He said, trying to take the look of fear off her face. "Why am I here? Why did you bring me here?" She replied, a tone of terror, in her words. He pointed to the bandages on her stomach before standing up and walking over to the kitchen to get some dinner. "Do you want anything to eat? I know it's like 10:45pm but still." He asked, pulling a box of noodles out of the cupboard.

"I'm fine" She replied, looking down at the stab wound and holding a hand on the bandages. Yoshiki ignored these words, getting out some bread and making toast, putting it on a small plate and placing it by Ayumi. There was a knocking at the door, and Yoshiki knew it was Morishige so he opened the door for him. Morishige started to speak, but stopped as he noticed the blood on Yoshiki's hands, shirt and sofa. "Dude, did you kill someone?" Morishige asked, with a serious tone in his voice. "Yeah, I killed someone then made you come over to see all the blood- no I didn't kill someone, you fucking idiot, Ayumi was stabbed, she's on the couch over there." He replied, pointing to her as Morishige took a step back. Yoshiki and Morishige sat down, while Yoshiki explained what he saw and Ayumi said what happened. "Well, I came to... I came to see how you were doing but... Someone threatened me for my money, when I said I didn't have any, he stabbed me in the stomach." Ayumi explained, stuttering occasionally. Morishige pulled his phone out, and called Satoshi. He went over to the kitchen and Yoshiki sat with Ayumi, listening to the conversation.

"Look, I know you hate him, and I'm not here to apologise for him. He needs you to get here and help him get Ayumi to a hospital. You never have to speak to him again afterward. Please? 25 minutes? Ok."

Morishige hung up, putting his phone back in his pocket and getting a glass out the cupboard. Yoshiki stood up and looked at him evilly. "Don't you fucking dare, Morishige." He said with a sort of comedic sound in his voice. "What? I'm getting some water." He replied, looking over at the blonde. "I know what you do Sakutaro. You use all my glasses in 20 minutes and then leave. Put it back." He said loudly, walking over to the fridge and pulling out a bottle of water. There was a knock at the door and Yoshiki sighed, going over to the door and opening it, being greeted by a baseball bat and a kick to the groin. He fell back as Satoshi kicked him in the stomach, grabbing Ayumi by the arm and pulling her out of the apartment before looking back at Yoshiki. "You ever touch her again, I'll kill you." Satoshi said, looking at Yoshiki with a fierce look in his eyes. Yoshiki stood up and pulled out a knife, looking back at Satoshi before shouting at him. "I saved her from dying tonight, and you repay me by kicking me, hitting me with a baseball bat and giving me a death threat?" Ayumi ran over to Morishige in fear of Satoshi as he swung the baseball bat at the blonde again. Yoshiki tried to dodge but was hit in the nose as he grabbed the bat and threw it aside. "Look, you dumb bastard. Just because you can't accept an apology for something I never meant to do, doesn't mean you can beat me up and pin an attempted murder on the person I love on me!" Yoshiki said, falling to the ground and holding his bleeding nose. "Just, please believe that I never meant to hurt you or Seiko that day, and I never wanted to destroy our friendship because I was jealous. This isn't you, this isn't us." Tears were rolling down his cheek as he looked up at who used to be his best friend, before everything went black.

The light was irritating. The doctors frequenting Ayumi's room were irritating. What wasn't irritating was that Morishige, Seiko and Satoshi were sitting next to him while he held Ayumi's hand. He had passed out before Seiko arrived at his apartment and they got the two in the car. Satoshi drove Seiko, Morishige, Ayumi and a passed out Yoshiki to the hospital. Yoshiki was given a simple painkiller and pat on the back, while Ayumi was given a room, surgery and was laying in a hospital bed, while they cleaned and patched up her wound. They all sat there with her for 4 days straight, before they got her out of the hospital and back to Yoshiki's apartment. Ayumi had called her mom to bring some clothes, and some of her things over in a box for her to wear while she stayed at Yoshiki's. It ended up being three months that Ayumi stayed in the apartment with Yoshiki, then she left for a few days, and came back forever when the blonde asked her to marry him.
