Author's note: hope you all enjoyed the last chapter. I haven't written a love scene yet for our favorite couple for two reasons. 1. I don't want to rush how Alison and Emily's relationship progresses. 2. I haven't written one before so I am kind of worried about not doing a good job and it turning out tacky. As always I do not own any of the characters. Please review if you are enjoying the story or even if you aren't and have constructive criticism on what I can do better.
Third Person Pov
Alison sat waiting on the couch for the girls to come over. She heard a knock at the door. She quickly got up and answered it. She smiled when she saw Emily on her door step. "Hey", Emily said before pecking Alison on the lips then going and sitting down. "The others aren't here yet." Alison said as she joins Emily on the couch. "That's okay. It just means we get some alone time before we jump into what you want to talk about." Emily responds as she laces their hands.
"My mom was not happy when I got home. She implemented an open door policy, and if you spend the night you have to sleep on the couch." Emily continues and Alison raises her eyebrows. "Then I will just have to sneak upstairs once she is asleep in that case", Alison laughs and so does Emily.
"So where is your dad? I am surprised he isn't in here glaring at me right now", Emily says before they hear knocking. "At work", Alison says as she walks to the door and lets Hanna, Aria and Spencer inside. They greet Alison and sit on the other couch. Alison clears her throat and says, "We need to talk about my disappearance. More specifically coming up with a cover story." She finishes as the others look at her curiously.
"Why can't we just tell the truth about what happened?" Hanna asked her. "Because we all are being blackmailed by someone who knows all of our secrets. As well as the fact that Rosewood P.D is about as competent as a puppy", Alison answered. "So what are we going to tell them then?" Spencer questioned as Aria, Hanna, and Emily listened.
"I'll tell them I was kidnapped and you all found and rescued me", Alison replied. The girls sighed growing tired of having to lie so often. "Good thing lying isn't a crime, because if it was we all would be in jail", Emily piped up from her seat.
"So are we clear about what to say if someone asks about me?" Alison asks, and is met with a chorus of yeah from the girls. They talk mindlessly for another half hour before a knock at the door interrupts them. The girls look at Alison with curiosity as she goes and answers the door. "Are you Mrs. Dilaurentis?" The delivery man asks her. "No I am her daughter", Alison tells the man. She looks to his side and sees a medium size dog standing there.
"I was asked to bring him to Mrs. Dilaurentis", the postal worker tells her before leaving. Alison brings the dog around the couch before sitting down and so does he. "Who sent you a dog?" Spencer asks in bewilderment. "I haven't the slightest clue", Alison answers back. She looks at his collar and sees that his name is Pepe. "Speaking of your mom, where is she?" Aria asked noticing her absence.
"I assume she is working . Last I had seen of her she was putting together a fashion show with Hanna's mom." She answers as she pets Pepe. "Well I have to get going. I still have some homework to do. Also I am waiting to hear back from the colleges I applied to", Spencer says as she heads out. "Yeah I can't stay either I have a few errands I have to run for my mom", says Aria before she leaves.
Emily and Alison look at Hanna who is currently typing away on her phone. She looks up, "Why are you both staring at me?" She asks after she sends her text message. "Just wondering if you are staying and hanging out since it seems like you have plans", Emily answers. "Yeah I am", Hanna responds.
The girls spend a few more hours hanging out as the day drags on.
Monday comes soon enough and the girls find themselves back on Rosewood High School's grounds. "I will be so glad once I am done with high school", Hanna groans. "Han we have to survive however A is going to torture us first." Aria says and Spencer adds, "Yeah. High school is a cake walk compared to the crap A puts us through." The others nod in agreement before going inside and heading to their first period classes.
The next few hours pass uneventfully, and it is time for lunch. The girls sit down to eat when Alison gets a text message. Emily, Aria, and Hanna exchange worry filled glances as Alison opens it. She gasps as she views the attachment A sent her. It consisted of a video of her mother being buried.
Message attached: Don't get too cozy. I'm far from done here bitch. You escaped a grave once but I'll bury you again-A
Alison's phone clattered as it hit the table. A few students looked their way before turning back to their lunch. "What is it Ali?" Emily said placing her hand on Alison's shoulder. Alison slid her phone so only Aria, Hanna, Spencer, and Emily could see it. Their reaction mirrored Alison's as they watched the video. "Oh my gosh is that who I think it is?" Spencer asked in shock. The others nodded, as they were rendered speechless at the sight of Jessica Dilaurentis being buried.
The rest of the day passes in a blur until it's over. Each girl feeling the paranoia ramp up with every ring of a phone they hear. Hanna, Aria, Alison, Spencer and Emily all walk out to the parking lot together. Emily says her goodbyes to the others before she and Alison get in the car. Alison's body language spoke volumes even though the blonde herself didn't.
They are silent the entire drive as neither really has the words to say. Emily parks the car in the Dilaurentis' drive way before turning off the ignition and looking at Alison. "Would you like me to come inside with you or do you need some space?" She asks as she gently grabs her hand.
Alison laces their fingers together. "I need some time to process. I will see you later Em." She says before she kisses her then exits the car. Emily drives her car home then goes inside.
No One's POV
A sat in the lair. They watched multiple video cameras they had hacked into at Rosewood High. Electronic laughter is emitted as they cackle in delight at the sight of the girls in the lunch room. Their horror driving the desire to keep going with the plans brewing in A's head.
