Pop! The first firework exploded as it was launched into the sky. The snow had only started to fall a few minutes ago but it had covered the sky in seconds and it only served to add to the beauty of the fireworks as they exploded in all colours. All of the student council was gathered on the roof mesmerised by the scene unfolding in front of them. Luckily since the memory reset no one remembered me and since Lelouch had control of the O.S.I. I was allowed back in to help protect him; after all, I was the ace pilot of the Black Knights.

"Are you cold?" Lelouch asked. I hadn't even noticed him creep up on me from behind.

"No." I lied giving him a death stare. My lie was made immediately obvious by the puff of smoke that came out of my mouth.

"Here." Lelouch said softly as he wrapped his jacket around me. It was surprising warm, just like the time at the control center. He was worried about me for no reason; I could more than take care of myself. A little coldness wouldn't hurt me. Still…this was nice of him to do.

"Hey Lelouch, since when were you so kind to Kallen?" Rivalz yelled from his position next to Milly.

"I don't know what you're talking about," Lelouch said with his famous innocent smile, "she was cold so I merely helped her out."

"Maybe I should try that with the Prez…" Rivalz happily muttered to himself.

"Already won't work." Milly informed him cheerfully.

"It's pretty cold up here." Shirley said trying to look innocent in front of Lelouch. It was obvious what she was trying to do, but he doesn't like her. I mean, he probably doesn't, right?

"Much colder without my jacket." Lelouch agreed. I wasn't sure if he really didn't catch on to Shirley or if he just didn't want to start something.

We spent the rest of the night like that. It was truly amazing and you could see in Lelouch's eyes, through his façade, just how much he appreciated this and that this was a night he would never forget. It wasn't just him, though, I don't think any of us would forgot this night and I don't think I'll ever forget what he did this night, how he gave me warmth when there was only coldness.
