Chapter 11:

Developing Affections

Ryuko lay quietly in her bed. Ren had gone out with an old friend of her's to shop for some ingredients. The past few days, Ryuko's twin had done everything around the house. She cleaned, did the laundry, made Ryuko food, and wrote things down for Ryuko. It kind of felt like Ryuko herself were useless. Hah! Like she needed to be babied!

But Ryuko had no time to worry about Ren taking care of every little detail. It had been almost a week since she busted her knuckle, and her interview on the talk show started in a few hours. She needed to perfect her image to a certain degree.

"Presentable" was what Satsuki told her to wear. She had half a mind to call Satsuki and ask what she was wearing, but Ryuko thought it would make her look stupid.

The word "Presentable" could mean many different things to Satsuki. She came from a higher class than Ryuko, so she questioned if "presentable" was a different definition for the rich. Maybe she should watch the hoast's show and see what everyone else wore.

Ryuko pulled out her iPhone and plugged in the password. She flipped through pages of apps untill she got to the safari icon. She typed the shows name "Sly Talk" and viewed the videos. She was right, indeed. Satsuki had a totally different definition for "presentable."

The host for Sly Talk was actually really attractive. The look in his golden eyes said player. His thick chocolate hair was quiffed to the sky. Although faux hawks were more attractive to Ryuko, this man's hair and eyes had her somewhat swooning. Now the stubble was a different story. The stubble sat perfectly on the most beautiful jaws she had ever seen. There was no way his broad shoulders were real either.

Ryuko closed her eyes and set down her phone. She was so tired. She shifted a bit in her bed and gazed out the window. Little snowflakes fell from the sky. Just staring out the window made her cold.

Ryuko heaved to her feet. The cold embraced her skin and sent shivers crawling through her. She let out a cold shudder. Approaching the closet, Ryuko crossed her arms to try to create some warmth.

Her closet was actually quite large. Her walll was filled with shirts, skirts, pants, dresses, and ect. To the side were multiple boxes of shoes. On the back of the door to the walk-in closet was a mirror. But with so much in room taken up by the apparel, the closet was still spacious.

Ryuko clicked on music with her iPhone before beginning to flip through her fancy attire. She found a nice blouse, but it didn't seem like something Ryuko would wear. Too gold for her taste. It took her about five minuets to figure that a blouse in her collection would not fit Satsuki's definition of "presentable" clothing.

Ryuko came to the dresses. Her shoulders tensed as she flipped through the collection. When the long dresses didn't work, she came to the dresses that came a few inches above her kneecaps. Her fingers rested on a coarse fabric dress, but had a beautiful design. It was probably more plain than decorative. The base color was white with a black stripe on the shoulders; a black stripe around her waist; and a black stripe leading from the bottom of the knee-high dress to the hem on the shoulder. It resembled that of a tube dress, but it covered the shoulders and showed some cleavage.

Ryuko put it on, but couldn't zip it up. It fit her forum almost perfectly. If she could zip up the dress, it would fit on her like it was her own skin. Now if she could just apply makeup..

Just then a knock came on her bedroom door. "I'm home!" Ren called from the other side of the wood. Ryuko walked over and opened the door to a girl almost identical to herself.

"Welcome back. Zip me up, please" Ryuko asked. Ren obliged and zipped the dress with a cheerful smile.

"You have an interview today, right?" Asked Ren examining Ryuko's look. "The dress looks good on you, by the way" she complimented on the side.

Ryuko smiled. "Yea, I do." She answered. She turned around and hugged her sister. Ren gasped. She had been caught completely off guard by her sisters tackle. "I'm so happy to have my sister back" Ryuko explained happily.

"I see that" Replied Ren still in a shocked state.

Ryuko chuckled and left her sister's warmth. "Now I have stuff to do, places to be, and people to meet!" Ryuko declared. Carefully she pushed her sister out of her room with a smirk. Ren insisted upon helping, but Ryuko denied and locked the door behind her twin.

"I can take care of myself! You need to worry about your own life" Ryuko said through the door. A few seconds later and Ren let out defeated groan. She thumped away muttering words Ryuko couldn't make out.

The thumping drew Ryuko's eyebrows together with worry. That thumping came from Ren's prosthetic. It was a constant reminder of the horrible event that had killed their mother. Ryuko had one too. She had a small scar from a piece of stray metal that had cut into her hip. It cut far enough to carve a tiny divot into her bone.

Ryuko rubbed her temples to try and get the thought out of her head. She had more important things to do than morn. She had to get going, or she might keep Satsuki waiting.

She sat at the mirror applying things such as hairspray, black eyeliner, silver eyeshadow with tiny sparkles, mascara, and soft cherry red lipstick. She stared at herself in the mirror with a sudden rush of self-conscious feelings. The longer she stared, the more she noticed her cheeks have become thicker.

"Ryuko! Satsuki's here!" Called Ren snapping Ryuko out of her trance.

"Coming!" Ryuko shouted back. She took a moment to look into the mirror again. She sucked in a long breath before releasing it with a heavy chest. She always disliked interviews, no wonder she was feeling so self-conscious. A camera meant for filming movies made her look glamorous, but a tv camera for things like Opera and Dr. Phil didn't seem to work wonders on her appearance.

Ryuko exited her room and shuffled down the stairs. Her breath caught in her throat at the woman standing in the doorway. One of the most beautiful creatures stood before her.

Satsuki stood in the doorway wearing a black tube dress that ended about a hands width above her knees. The dress accented her breasts well. The silver chained necklace with a golden charm hung from her neck, and the charms location; very charming indeed.

Satsuki's pale legs appeared smooth and very attracting to Ryuko's gaze. She couldn't help but let her eyes venture from Satsuki's open toed high heels, up to her perfect calves, and as far as her eyes could see up her black -not to mention expensive as hell- dress.

The red lipstick worked well with Satsuki's skin's pigment. Her nails appear to have been professionally done, as well as her hair. Satsuki's hair looked so soft and glossy. It seemed almost impossible to have achieved such an exuberant feat.

"You look-" Ryuko began, but stopped. What was the word she was looking for? There was simply no words that could define Satsuki's breathtaking beauty.

Attractive, good-looking, alluring, prepossessing, lovely, charming, delightful, appealing, engaging, winsome, ravishing, gorgeous, stunning, arresting, glamorous, bewitching, beguiling, graceful, elegant, exquisite, aesthetic, artistic, decorative, magnificent, informally divine, drop-dead-gorgeous, easy on the eyes, killer, cute, foxy, formal beauteous, archaic comely, fair; not one of these words could describe how Satsuki looked. In front of Ryuko stood someone way more beautiful than herself.

"Incredible..." Was all Ryuko could utter. The room suddenly increased in temperature. Under the skin of Ryuko's cheeks, her blood burned with a mixture of embarrassment and arousal. Half of her mind wondered if Satsuki had always looked so beyond beautiful before. The Kill La Kill outfits were much shorter and prone to arousing men enough to cause their nose to bleed. So why now? It seems like these days Ryuko surprised herself more than those around her.

"Thank you. And you know how to clean up yourself" Satsuki said. Her eyebrows sat perfectly above her glistening blue eyes than ever before. It was as if the world became a dream and sparks flew around her.

"Ryuko? Are you feeling ok?" Ren asked her sister placed a hand on Ryuko's forehead. Ryuko could see the gears turning in Ren's eyes as her twin pieced together the situation. She had that look that said "Oh I get it!" It was very concerning to Ryuko.

"Nah, your fine. It's a little warm in here, so why don't you guys talk outside" Ren said with a sly smirk which was terrifyingly much like Ryuko's. She shoved Ryuko and Satsuki out of the door and pretty much slammed it in their faces.

"So are you, um... Ready to go?" Ryuko asked awkwardly. Yea, there were times when she had to control her arousal and act awkward at the same time, but this time was different. Ryuko was definitely like a dog and Satsuki was the bone she was being teased with. If she could just make Satsuki her's right in front of the door... What the hell! What was she thinking? Her thoughts were creeping her out with sexual visions. She had to tip her invisible hat off to some of them because of how hot it could have been, but that doesn't mean they were ok to think!

"Yes. Are you sure you're ok?" Asked Satsuki noticing Ryuko's red face growing riper than a red-hot chili pepper by the second. Satsuki reached up and pressed her hand flat on Ryuko's forehead.

"You're really hot" Satsuki concluded.

"And so are you" fawned Ryuko, not noticing what she had just said.

"What?" Asked Satsuki unsure of what she just heard. She was growing closer and closer to thinking Ryuko was sick.

"Nothing!" Ryuko exclaimed as she realized what she said. She picked off Satsuki's hand and stuck her nose in the air. "I'm fine! There is nothing wrong with me. I'm healthier than... Than what ever the healthiest thing in the world is!"

"Suit yourself" Satsuki shrugged, but the look in her eyes set Ryuko on edge. Satsuki's eyes practically screamed suspicion.

They walked over to the car Satsuki had driven Ryuko to the hospital with and settled themselves into their respective seats. The engine grumbled to life with a quick twist of Satsuki's wrist. She backed out of Ryuko's small driveway, and whizzed out on to the street.

"What do you think he'll ask?" Asked Ryuko to shatter the silence that had dragged on awkwardly for about a minuet

"Probably about our past. Before the fame" Satsuki replied. Ryuko turned to watch Satsuki drive. She looked so cool and composed. Her focus was directed towards the road, but she some times glanced in Ryuko's direction.

"I won't talk to much, if that's the subject" Ryuko frowned. They pulled up to a red light, and Satsuki turned to Ryuko.

"How so?" She asked. Ryuko turned away from Satsuki. She gazed out the window with old, yet horrible, memories.

"Let's say I didn't have a past full of pretty little flying unicorns that shat rainbows." Ryuko answered. The light turned green and Satsuki pressed lightly on the gas pedal.

The rest of the ride was quiet until Ryuko's phone rang the chorus of "Staying Up" by The Neighborhood. She fumbled around for her phone, which she stored in her cleavage ever so well, and clicked the green answer button.

"Yaho, ma" Ryuko answered. Satsuki turned to Ryuko with a confused look. "It's my manager" Ryuko whispered to her. She put her manager on speaker and put the device on the dashboard.

"Ah, Ryuko. Are you in a car?" The phone asked.

"Yep. Satsuki's here too. Say hi Satsuki" Ryuko ordered.

"Hello" Satsuki obliged. Ryuko smiled with victory, although what did she win? Nothing really...

"I have offers from a street racing movie, and a voice acting gig for an anime" the phone spoke. Ryuko smiled with delight. 'Finally!' She thought. 'I get to be in a racing movie, and I get to voice act!" She continued.

"However, you need to pick one or the other" Ryuko's heart stopped. "Their schedules intertwine, so you'll have to chose" the phone explained further. Ryuko frowned, clearly unhappy with such a hard decision.

For a while, Ryuko had really wanted to voice act, but a movie with hot cars everywhere was just as equivalent as her wish to voice act. She could just imaging the cars she would get to see, the drivers she could meet, and even better; motorcycles. With voice acting, she would be able to cross off voice acting on her entertainment list. Ryuko had been in plays, movies, and now a tv show. All she needed was to voice act and singing.

"Isn't there any way to get to fix their schedules?" Satsuki asked, surprising Ryuko and her momager behind the phone. Satsuki must have noticed Ryuko's solemn look.

"That would he very difficult..." The phone began. "But I'll see what I can do" he finished. Ryuko's hope raised slightly. She gave Satsuki a thankful look.

"Oh yea! Ryuko, Satsuki this involves you too, you have been invited to an exclusive party in two months. Your manager was going to tell you, Satsuki, but she told me she keeps forgetting" Ryuko's momager said. Ryuko could just imagine his smug smirk. Apparently he knew Satsuki's manager well.

"Thank you for telling me." Satsuki said. Ryuko smiled as she watched Satsuki turn to the phone as she spoke.

"Alright. Call me with the details later. Bye" Ryuko said, and she clicked the end button. She shoved the phone back into her cleavage.

"You called me by my name" Said Satsuki not looking away from the road. Ryuko's eyebrows raised with interest. Really? She could have sworn she used Satsuki's name in front of her before, other than acting.

"Is that so?" She asked. Satsuki's eyes met with Ryuko's. Satsuki nodded and turned back to the road.

Those eyes... So beautiful...

"What?" Satsuki asked loudly with a hint of surprise in her tone.

'Oh shit!' Ryuko panicked. 'I said that out loud!' She thought. "The skies. The skies are so beautiful" Ryuko quickly covered up. Her heart pounded on her chest so hard that it began to annoy her with it's constant thick beating.

"Oh" Satsuki mumbled. "I thought you said something else." She said louder. Ryuko could have sworn she heard a hint of disappointment in Satsuki's tone.

They pulled into the back of a large building. It looked about four floors tall. It obviously wasn't. It was one big building, one floor, and countless comfortable leather chairs that rocked if sat in. Ryuko had been here before, but that was for something different. She couldn't really remember why.

"Let's go" Said Ryuko right to the point. She flung open the door and exited the vehicle. She found herself, again, opening Satsuki's door for her and offering a helping hand. It confused Satsuki as much as it confused Ryuko.

"Thank you" Satsuki said politely. Ryuko nodded in response. She closed the car's door with embarrassment. 'Why?' She wondered. 'Why must I act this way?' She sighed to herself. She rubbed her temple free of an oncoming migraine.

This time, Satsuki opened the door for the two of them. "Thanks" Ryuko mumbled as she clipped and clopped into the back of the building. They couldn't just waltz through the front door. If they did, fans would probably tackle them.

"Ah! Matoi-san, Kiryuin-san. Welcome!" Exclaimed a woman with one of those cheep visors that tennis players wore, and had her hair bunched up in a messy bun. If someone really wanted to, they could put Satsuki's hair in a bun after battling with it for a while.

"You will be on in 20" The polite woman with the cheep visor said. She gestured them to the curtains. "Be there before the 2 minuet mark. For now, relax" she went on.

Satsuki left Ryuko to go sit in one of the seats. Ryuko had half a mind to sit next to her, but she thought not. Satsuki was probably annoyed by Ryuko's constant presence. So instead of joining Satsuki, Ryuko chose to lean against the wall and watch Satsuki sit pretty.

Ryuko had time to think about how she felt about Satsuki. Right now, her body wants Satsuki to drop something and pick it up so that her eyes could look up Satsuki's dress further. She couldn't help but snickering at her childish hormones. It was like she was in 7th grade again (American standard). Her best friend -who became a back-stabbing bitch- was really attractive and she came to school one day in a short skirt. She dropped her books, and all Ryuko could do was stare at the girl's ass in the air. At that point and age, Ryuko knew exactly how the boys in her class made girls pregnant. The rest of the day was just a flushed face and dirty thoughts.

Ryuko sighed as she remembered the girls Dora underwear. She could laugh about it now, since it was too painful to think about the good times in high school. But the woman she was staring at, she was a different story. She wasn't wearing Dora underwear. Ryuko was left to wonder if Satsuki was the type for lingerie panties or bikinis. Now Satsuki in a thong would be delicious...

Ryuko slapped her cheeks to rid such a lewd thought from her mind. She couldn't deny that Satsuki posing around in a thong wasn't at all sexy, but these thoughts! These stupid, idiotic, lewd, disgusting, yet sexy thoughts plagued her head. It's stronger than the Bubonic Plague from back in the day.

'Why?' She questioned. 'Why must I think of such perverse things?' Ryuko continued. She launched a full-out investigation to find out why she felt the way she does. She ran through the day she actually met Satsuki. Motorcycle, Satsuki, Almost hit, dislike. Ryuko made a mental note stating there was no "Like" at first sight.

"10 more minuets" said the lady with the cheep visor who interrupted her thoughts. Ryuko nodded to the girl with an understanding. The woman wandered off, and Ryuko was left by herself.

Ryuko's mind turned back to Satsuki who sat in the same spot, but stressed looking. She was leaning back in the chair with her leg crossed over the other. She stared at the ceiling with a morose expression.

Ryuko abandoned her wall and paused her investigation to join Satsuki on a chair next to her. "A penny for your thoughts?" She asked. Satsuki sat up and turned to Ryuko.

"I just get a little stiff when I go to things like this. I'm an actor. If I wanted to be in a talk show, I would have my own" Satsuki sighed. Ryuko's eyebrow twitched. They actually had something in common; a dislike for reality shit.

"I know how you feel" Ryuko groaned. She leaned back in her chair to become more comfortable.

"You know, you're not so bad" She confessed. Satsuki turned to her with eyebrows in impossibly high places. Ryuko gazed into Satsuki's deep blue eyes. Oh how she was so beautiful. It made Ryuko feel a little upset.

Satsuki was on a whole new level, and boy did Ryuko know it. She was just some no body from out of no where, and there was Satsuki who was famous before her acting career. Ryuko could feel her heart beat thicken again. The annoying pounding told her to control herself. It felt nearly impossible to keep herself at bay.

Those damn red lips tempted Ryuko. Satsuki had become perfect in Ryuko's eyes. The past snarky remarks were ignored as she just stared into those attractive eyes. All she wanted to do at this point was be like in the movies and have somewhat aggressive sex. If only she wasn't so protective of her virginity...

"2 minuets!" The chick with the visor said. The second time... The second time this chick interrupted Ryuko's thoughts. Right now, Ryuko needed five minuets to smoke one, but she didn't have that time now did she? No, she had to fantasize about grinding hips and locked lips.

"Are you ok?" Satsuki asked. Her stupid perfect bushy eyebrows did that concerned look thing again. Oh how Ryuko's emotions were all over. She was mad, aroused, frustrated, and somewhat disgusted.

"Fine!" Ryuko snapped. "I mean- I'm fine." She quickly said. She didn't want to hurt Satsuki's feelings by snapping, although Satsuki wasn't the soft type.

Ryuko got up and waked to where the woman with the cheep visor had told them to stand. She didn't want to see Satsuki. This woman always stirred up something in Ryuko, wether it be anger or longing, she just couldn't look at Satsuki's beauty.

As the two minuets ticked by, the atmosphere grew awkward as soon as Satsuki joined her. Whenever Ryuko spared a quick glance at Satsuki, the raven-haired girl watched Ryuko with narrow eyes. If she hadn't harbored feelings for Satsuki, Ryuko would think Satsuki was a creeper staring at her. Her newfound lust countered everything stalkish Satsuki did.

"Now we have two special women joining us today. One of them single-handedly put sexy into black and the other popped out of nowhere with immense beauty and talent. Let's hear it for Kiryuin Satsuki and Matoi Ryuko! " Exclaimed a deep masculine voice. At that moment, the woman with the visor shooed them on to the stage. Ryuko wasted no time and strut out in front of hundreds of people. Masses of people never scared Ryuko, and they never will. Ryuko felt uneasy mostly because she was afraid of confessing too much of her past.

Ryuko summoned a smile and greeted the host of "Sly Talk." She shook his hand, but he pulled her into a hug. Ryuko was very surprised since she never really hugged someone other than her sister and the occasional boyfriend. She told herself she hated them, but in reality they comforted her. Needless to say, Ryuko welcomed the sudden embrace.

The host gave Satsuki the same thing before sitting down in a red leather chair. Almost adjacent to the matching love seat. He gestured a large hand to the love seat, and Ryuko sat down as lady like as she could possibly muster. Satsuki followed.

"Wow, you two look impeccably delectable tonight" the host cooed.

"Why thank you, Kiyabu-kun" Satsuki said with a smile.

Kiyabu was even more perfect in person. His golden eyes met hers. Above those beautiful eyes were skinny dark eyebrows that were filled in preferably by his makeup artists. His sideburns had grown out, but not by much. He no longer had the stubble she saw on the internet, although he was hotter without the extra hair.

He as wearing a black blazer with the same colored button up shirt under. Around his neck was a dark, yet soft golden tie with hardly noticeable stripes. His pants matched his blazer held up by a black belt. The shoes he was wearing must have costed about half of her life savings.

"As I understand it, you two are making a show together?" Kiyabu asked. Ryuko shot Satsuki a glance before she thought of something to say.

"Why yes we are" Ryuko answered. The crowed hooted and hollered with the occasional wolf whistle. Ryuko chuckled and shifted her gaze to her feet in a somewhat shy way.

"I bet this show will be amazing. What's it like on set?" Kiyabu questioned. He sat back in his leather chair and crossed his legs in a sophisticated way.

"It's going well. We are having lots of fun. Watching people screw around is almost as entertaining as watching Ryuko yell at American sports" Satsuki joked. Ryuko felt her cheeks grow red with embarrassment. People weren't supposed to know she shouted at the tv, but on the plus side they didn't know what kind of language she used. Nobody needed to know she could make sailors blush.

Kiyabu laughed in a rehearsed monotone haha. "Are you two close?" He asked, "it seems like you are"

"Not really" Ryuko quickly replied. "We're major characters in a show together. We're more like well acquainted co-workers" She added with a smile. It was painful denying they had nothing more, even though it was the truth. She wanted more, but her desires may never be fufilled.

"And you can just hear the sighs of disappointed RyuSats fangirls" He joked. Ryuko's shoulders tensed uncomfortably. Her back ached from the strained upright posture. "As I understand, you're both on the market, no?" He questioned both.

Satsuki shifted a bit in her seat and fake smiled. "I'm not really looking for a relationship" Satsuki said. Ryuko's chest ached. Those weren't quite the words she had wanted to hear.

"I just got out of a complicated relationship not too long ago. I just need to pick up some broken pieces" Ryuko replied next. She was just making an excuse. She was completely over.. What's-his-name. She didn't want to proclaim to the world she was single and "out to get some" or anything.

"Well I'm sure you two will find the perfect men to suit your tastes" Kiyabu chuckled. Ryuko could have sworn he winked at Satsuki. "Anyway, I have a surprise for you two. I contacted your manager and he sent me little Ryuko and Little Satsuki!" He exclaimed.

Ryuko's face grew pale. A gigantic screen slowly rose from the floor and soon enough, elementary schoolers Ryuko and Satsuki popped up in a two collage frame. Ryuko had her short hair in a pony-tail and a headband holding back any stray strands. Satsuki had her long black hair, long legs, and adorable round blue eyes. The crowd could not suppress their awes.

"You two are so adorable!" Kiyabu commented. Ryuko felt super uncomfortable as the crowed muttered things like "so cute," "how adorable," and "they've grown so much." Ryuko turned to Satsuki to see her reaction and Ryuko was shocked. She was shocked to see Satsuki's pale face. It looked as if she had seen a ghost.

"Do you maybe have a tall tale from when you guys where little?" He asked. Satsuki flinched and plastered another fake smile.

"Of course" she beamed. "I was on my way back from shopping with my mother when I saw a little girl crying" she began, "I dropped off my bags and I asked her what was wrong. She told me she had lost her Sensei. I took her back to the place where she had been before she got lost and as it turned out, her sensei had accidentally left her at a gas station while on a school field trip"She said nonstop. Ryuko had extreme déjà vu, but she chose to ignore it.

"Wow that's very admirable of you, Satsuki" Kiyabu marveled. His googly eyes ogled at her breasts while his mouth spouted on. Ryuko felt sick. She couldn't tell wether his tone was marveled by Satsuki's heroic deed or her lovely lady lumps.

"When I was little, my mom would always buy Ren and me ice cream on the hottest days of summer. One time I tripped and my ice cream flew out of my hand and landed on another person. The person screamed at me about some designer shirt stained forever but my mom just nodded, promised to pay the woman back, and bought me another ice cream cone. She told me that if someone blew up like that, being calm is the only way to deal with the situation fast and smoothly" Ryuko said, thinking of her own past.

Kiyabu nodded and 'uhu'ed occasionally. His lack of interest frustrated her. All of his attention seemed to focus more on Satsuki than herself. She couldn't blame him though. Satsuki was an amazing site to see.

"Alright, well we have some questions from our fans on twitter who just tweeted. We'll start with Satsuki first." Kiyabu began pulling out his phone. He scrolled through twitter and stopped on one.

"Satsuki, which high school did you go to?" He read. A smile spread across from his face as if he were thinking the same thing.

"I went to Yokonai Academy" Satauki relied. Ryuko sat silently in awe.

Yokonai Academy was the high school to go to. Their education ranked number one had the best sports, the best clubs, and the best teachers. Most of the teachers were practically professors.

Ryuko felt her chest ache. Satsuki was a fantasy. She wanted to shake her head and laugh at herself all while thinking how much of a fool she was to have ever believed Satsuki was ever on the same pedestal as herself. Her spirits lowered as her thoughts continued more negatively.

"That's very impressive" Said Kiyabu, snapping Ryuko out of her deep thoughts. She turned her attention to Satsuki and smiled a horribly fake smile.

"Alright Ryuko, here is your question from Twitter..." Kiyabu paused and scrolled through his phone and stopped. "What was one of the most scariest things you did as a kid?" He asked. Ryuko's eyebrows shot up as her mind was shifted to when she was five foot.

One memory suddenly jumped out at her. "I was seven years old when I attended a school field trip to an amusement park..." Ryuko began with slight embarrassment. It wasn't her proudest memory though.

"We stopped on our way back to freshen up, and my sensei mistook Ren, my twin sister, for me so they drove off without me. I freaked out and tried looking everywhere but I got lost" She paused scratching her head. "I don't remember much, but I was bawling my eyes out and could hardly get a proper word out for a long time" Ryuko chuckled, reminiscing in her past.

Kiyabu chuckled and said "That's quite a story." He checked his watched and pulled out a paper. "It appears that our time is up" he mumbled checking his watch. "It was wonderful meeting you both!"

"It was nice meeting you too, Kiyabu" Ryuko smiled. She stole a glance towards Satsuki who looked into the crowd with a distant gaze. Both the girls bowed to the clapping crowd, then they excited the stage. The woman with the visor walked up to them and took the mini microphones she had given them just a few seconds before they got on stage.

"Can we talk?" Satsuki asked quietly. Ryuko gulped and nodded. "Somewhere more privet?" She added. Ryuko bit the inside of her lip with curiosity. What could Satsuki possibly want?

"Sure" Ryuko replied after a few seconds of silence. Satsuki took Ryuko's wrist and pulled her through double doors that lead to a long hallway. She pulled Ryuko into an empty dressing room. Satsuki somewhat roughly pressed Ryuko against the door and kissed her

It was full on, not like a petty peck. It wasn't like a sloppy kiss, but neat. Ryuko wasn't sure on what to do at first. She barely managed to keep her balance while Satsuki firmly held on to her hips.

Ryuko threw her arms around Satsuki's neck, then she kissed back. It sent her heart fluttering. Just seconds ago she figured Satsuki would never kiss her. Oh how her lustful wishes came true. The most beautiful woman in the building was kissing her.

A few seconds later, and Satsuki broke the kiss. Their eyes met for a while. No one turned away or wavered. Ryuko could see passion in Satsuki's glamorous eyes. Oh how Ryuko wanted to kiss those lips again. She wanted Satsuki to touch her bare skin. Anywhere would suffice her needs.

"We should get going" Satsuki finally said, separating herself from Ryuko. Her heart sank when Satsuki's lips curved to a frown. Ryuko wanted to kiss those lips into a smile. She wanted to hug her, embrace her, cuddle her, watch movies and have popcorn fights, and she longed to tell Satsuki how much she thought of her. But before Ryuko could walk up and kiss Satsuki again, the taller girl had pushed past Ryuko and left the room.

With disappointment, Ryuko slid to the ground, then she pulled out a cigarette. Smoking was probably against the rules, but she needed one. Nicotine was like her reliever. It made her feel better in some cases. She lit her cigarette with a Zippo and took the low body count to account. She pulled her knees close to her, then spread them apart. It felt comfortable to be a little less lady like. It felt natural, sitting with legs wide open with smoke at hand.

"Well fuck" She mumbled. Satsuki had to go and make the first move, and she didn't stay long enough for Ryuko to make the second. Her feelings have been slowly developing for days now. She figured her feelings were disguised enough so that Satsuki wouldn't notice, but did Satsuki really? Satsuki was probably the smartest, yet sexiest, person in the building. Of course she knew Ryuko's feelings. By the time Ryuko's cigarette finished, she still couldn't stop thinking. She contemplated on lighting another, but figured she'd rather not be caught smoking just yet. She put out the cigarette on the floor, then she stomped on the ashes to make sure she didn't start the building on fire.

Ryuko left the room in a hurry. Satsuki had to have waited for her. It had been a long day, and Ryuko didn't feel like being the bad guy and keeping Satsuki from a nice nap or a hot bath. She exited the hall Satsuki had dragged her through and pushed past the chick with the cheep visor. She took noticed to the disgusted look on visor girl's face when she took a whiff of the cigarette she's smoked.

Ryuko rolled her eyes and exited through the door she first came in. The cold slapped her in the face almost instantly. She could barely see past her nose. It had snowed before she left home but she didn't think the weather. She could barely see the red backlights of Satsuki's ride. Ryuko quickly trudged through ankle-deep snow to get to the car. She hopped into the passenger's seat. She pulled her legs against her chest and shuddered. The car was still freezing. The only difference was she wasn't being snowed on and she could see a little further than her nose.

"Are you cold?" Asked Satsuki. Ryuko turned to Satsuki with raised eyebrows. She could feel anger slowly brew inside of her, but yelling at Satsuki now was a little much. She didn't want Satsuki to think the kiss had angered her or something.

"I'm past cold. I'm freezing" Ryuko shuttered through her clenched teeth. Ryuko watched Satsuki's eyebrows draw together. The worry in her gaze warmed Ryuko just a bit. It was touching Satsuki chose to show human emotions for once. Up till the point Satsuki kissed her, Ryuko kinda thought Satsuki never knew how to do things like a couple.

"Don't worry, I'll get you home as soon as possible" Satsuki muttered. Ryuko felt a twinge bit of guilt for wanting to scream at Satsuki. Her tone had been apologetic. Satsuki didn't need to apologize for anything. It was Ryuko who was being a dick.

"You can take your time" Ryuko muttered quietly. Satsuki didn't hear her. She just drove out of the parking lot and began to slowly make her way towards Ryuko's house.

After driving in silence for a while, the pair came to a red light. Satsuki braked and leaned up to try and get a better view. It was super hard to see, but Satsuki was really good at driving till now. Ryuko couldn't look at Satsuki. She felt that if she did, she may want to kiss her again or something like that.

Satsuki let out a rough sigh and sat back into her seat. Ryuko glanced at Satsuki with raised eyebrows. The light had turned green and Satsuki pressed the gas pedal. The car struggled moving and eventually it got stuck in the middle of the intersection. Slightly panicked, Satsuki floored the car. Her efforts proved useless as the car didn't move.

"Shit" Satsuki cursed. Ryuko let out a frustrated sigh. The worst thing ever was getting stuck in snow. The best they could do was call somebody or try and push it out of it's rut, but neither of them were prepared to do so.

"Great" Ryuko grumbled stressfully. She turned to Satsuki to say something but her eyes widened at the sight of headlights barreling straight towards the car. "Satsuki!" Ryuko exclaimed, pointing to a truck getting closer.

Since Ryuko had not buckled, she was out of the car in no time but her high heels took one step on to the ground and she slipped on a patch of ice hidden under the thick layer of snow. She fell backwards and into the snows cold embrace. When she looked up to see if Satsuki had made it out, her eyes met with Satsuki's. She was struggling with the seatbelt. Fear was all Ryuko saw.

Ryuko struggled to get out of the snow but her limbs had numbed by the cold. Her heart pounded with adrenaline as she fumbled to get to her feet. She reached into the car to try and get the seat belt. It was too late.

The truck T-boned the drivers side of the car with enough force to send Ryuko flying backwards and into something hard. The last thing she saw was Satsuki's expensive as hell car wrapped around a shitty commoners truck. Then, she blacked out.
