Question time:

a) Why didn't Tatsumi die when Akame katana hurt him?

Answer= Esdeath did mention in previous chapter that all teigu loves him so it will be hard to hurt him. Even if Budo use his teigu against him Tatsumi will only suffer with minimum damage.

b) Is this yaoi because of Kuro feelings toward Tatsumi?

Answer= Even though most of the stories I wrote are Yaoi but 'Red Flash' and 'Deadly Valentine' are the only two stories I wrote with no yaoi in the story. So don't worried readers and continue to enjoy the story.

'Where are you going?'

'I will just be visiting one of the capital favorite people, that's all.' Tatsumi answers noticing the strange look his teigu is giving him. "It's just a visit there's nothing for you to worried about. Nothing will happen to me." Tatsumi shows his sweet smile trying to reassure that he will be fine on his own.

"But I sworn on that day that I will stay by your side . . ."

"To protect me." Tatsumi continue his words. "Trust me. I will be just fine."

"Are you really sure?"

"Kuro!" Tatsumi looks at him seriously. "My heart told me to go alone since I have a feeling something interesting will happen." He gives his famous mocking smile which the teigu has gotten use to.

After Tatsumi has order him to stay, Kuro can't help but have a bad feeling that something is going to happen.

"Please be save."

"I will and stay here and wait for my return Kuro."

The teigu take his master hand and press his lips on the tainted skin as an unsigned contract between them.

"As you wish."

Tatsumi chuckles as he relax inside the carriage, when he parts with Kuro it feels like his other half has been taken way from him. He knows Kuro must be very sad that he can't go along with Tatsumi since Tatsumi keeps telling him that this is just a friendly visit and bringing Kuro with him will just cause discomfort. Although Tatsumi hates humans but he must carry out his duty to interact with these people so they will continue their royalty to the king.

"What a troublesome job. I only belong to the battlefield." He said.

He knows Esdeath can do this easily since all that matter to her is power. She wants to become stronger than anyone else and destroy all the weak. With her personality he wouldn't be surprise if she decide to build her own capital where she is the king. Only certain people can interact with her on the same level especially him since he is consider as her fiancee. It wasn't his idea to engaged with her since he never loves her but she insist that he become hers'. He may be her fiance in the paper but the true is they are nothing more than partners that share the same taste in killing. His heart and his body will never belong to her.

"I don't love you."

"That doesn't mean I will stop trying to make you mine."

When he thought of Esdeath he suddenly remember the day when they first met. At that time he is still a newbie in training and he was currently fighting with another cocky soldier few years older than him. At that time Esdeath spot him and fell in love at the first sight. That woman knew from the start that he will be strong like her before he becomes a general and as always she was right. Every words she said he will pay attention since some of it are very important since that woman has a good instinct. She is possessive as well not wanting him to look at any other woman than him and try to seduce him on every chance she gets. He can't deny the fact that Esdeath is the only female that he can consider as his partner in life but . . .

"There's something missing." He mutters.

Something that Esdeath doesn't have within her but he couldn't say what is is since he also doesn't know what's missing.

"Humans are troublesome."

He crosses his legs and presses his back against the soft cushion. Soon the day will come when the king will question about his relationship and the prime minister will expect him to have a family with Esdeath so she can get pregnant with their child. He can just tell that the child will inherit the strength and his ability and become the next strongest general in the capital. As always they will become tool but the prime minister has no power to force him since he can kill that old man anytime. But Esdeath and Budo loyalty to the capital are outstanding and he doesn't want to fight such perfect people. He doesn't mind the king though since the king always give him special treatment.

"Long live the king." He laughs silently.

If the revolutionary group win someday the king, him and others will surely face death trial. Of course he doesn't plan to die until he met his rival someday and Esdeath will surely rebel against them. How about Kuro? Will he still be with him when the judgement day come?

"We're here general Tatsumi."

Tatsumi sighs and put on the best smile he can before stepping out from the carriage.

"Welcome to our humble home General Tatsumi!" The man and woman greets him. "We are honor to be in your presence."

"Sorry for intruding." Tatsumi lies. He can tell they're afraid of him when they show obvious sign of fear in their eyes.

"It's alright, your visit here are always welcome."

Ieyasu and Sayo are a bit surprise when a blond girl kindly asks them if they want to stay with her. She seems very nice and pretty and Ieyasu feels bad if he refuse that girl invitation. The girl looks like she was born in a rich family just by looking at her clothes and the huge carriage behind her. The way she speak to them make them feel like this girl will bring no harm.

"Will it be alright?" Sayo asks. "We don''t want to cause you any trouble."

"It's fine." The girl name Aria says. "I love to help others."

It was then they take the girl hands and everything changes. If only they didn't accept her invitation the nightmare wouldn't have happen. The biggest mistake in their live for trusting someone.

"I can't wait for you to see my home."

Akame wipe her katana carefully avoiding her skin from making any contact with the blade. When she sees her reflection on the blade make her restless when she sees the old scar. Even though it's barely visible but it still bother her since this scar continue to remind her of him. The guy who responsible for breaking her heart to half and the guy she suppose to kill.

"Don't act carelessly." She reminds herself. "Don't let your emotion take over."

It was another silence day for her.

But tomorrow will be different and the reunion she is waiting for will come soon. For now all she wants is to get stronger.

"Akame." Sheele calls her.

"I'm fine." She tells the girl knowing how Sheele always feels worried when her teammates are in pain. "Even though my legs haven't completely heal but I can still fight like I used to." Her voice sounds so confident showing her determination for a revolution.

Tatsumi enter the house not bothering to look around or feel amaze by the beauty that the two married couple specially decorate for him to get on his good side. Even all the food that was cook are fresh and top quality but Tatsumi only eat in small quantity since he carve for chocolate and whipping cream at this moment. If Kuro was here he would serve him the food he likes.

"Is there anything else that you want?"

Tatsumi was about to answer until the door open and the girl that he recognizes as their daughter walk in with a bright smile on her face.

"I bring two guest today." She tells them happily.

"Really?" Her father voice sounds cheerful.

Who could this guest be? Tatsumi turn to look and sees two people that's about his age walk in. They seems way to happy to see the commoner, does that mean they have a motive by bringing these two?

"Sorry to intrude." The girl with beautiful long hair apologizes.

"HI!" The other commoner greets them without formality which is new to Tatsumi. Only few people that he knows dare to greet him or other noble like that but the couple doesn't mind it. Something if very fishy here. "My name is Ieyasu and this is Sayo." He introduces themselves.

The blond girl known as Aria told him that she found them and decide to bring them here because she feel pity. Tatsumi smirks finally knowing what their true intention is, he heard a rumor a certain family loves to take people from the outside and torture them for fun. These two musn't have expect that wouldn't they? This would be fun but of course he wouldn't join the torture since he prefer killing them instantly since he is call Red Flash for a reason.

"It's nice to be meeting you two." He offer his hand to shake.

Ieyasu take his hand despite Sayo glance and Tatsumi feels something when they make contact. The testure and roughness of his hand shows that this boy is strong making him impress that someone from outside is like this. He would be useful tool for the capital. Maybe he should offer this boy a place but then the noble family will lose their toy to play with.

'Should I take the boy or the girl? Since taking them both will be a pity.' He thought.

"Let's get along." He says.

For now he should get to know them first and tomorrow he will take the strongest with his back to the palace.

"Sure!"

Sayo now smiles at him feeling that Tatsumi is a nice man.

Kuro tap his foot while waiting inside Tatsumi room.

"Why does my instinct keep telling me to never let him go alone at the first place?" He asks before he sighed deeply. It was then Seryu enter the room with a gleeful smile. "Where's Tatsumi?" She asks.

She is still wearing her Imperial Police clothes and this time she has a new companion by her side which is a teigu that looks like a cute puppy that she names 'Koro'. At first Kuro thought it was just a joke since their name is almost similar but the girl is serious about the name.

"He had to go somewhere." He tells her sadly.

"This is the first time he didn't bring you along."

When Seryu mentions that Kuro feel down than he should and kneel. "Tatsumi!" He cries and Seryu simply smile and pat his shoulder. "There, there!" She tries to calm him down. "Just remember that Tatsumi loves you."

Even though she is a maniac but most of the times she act like a sweet girl.

"How's your training with Ogre?" He asks due to curiosity.

"It's great! He shows me more technique that could give me more advantage during battle!"

The sudden image of Seryu spilt personality shown make the teigu shivers, it looks like her battle will be more brutal than usual and if possible he doesn't want to get involve. When Seryu is in her battle (crazy) mode she will just attack and almost kill him a few times.

The noble was smart enough to leave him and the two alone or maybe it was just their instinct.

"You look very strong!" Ieyasu says as he looks at Tatsumi up and down.

"Ieyasu!" She knocks his shoulder reminding him to be polite.

Tatsumi chuckles as he watches them, they both look very close which means that it will be hard when he needs to separate them. The girl look strong as well but only time can tell him who is more superior.

"I'm a general." He explains. "I am the youngest general in the capital because of my strength and ability to possess many teigu. Also one of the strongest general and undefeated since I have never lost in any battle before. Also known as Red Flash."

They look at him with awe as if he is a god.

"That's cool! I heard in the past that a child become a general but I thought it was just a lie!" Ieyasu eyes sparkle. "I don't know what teigu is but you still sounds cool!"

"That's very impressive Tatsumi san!" Sayo also seems excited when she heard it.

"Thank you." Tatsumi thanks them politely. "Want to taste a battle with this general?" He points at himself.

Those two look at each other before looking back at him.

It was then Ieyasu and Sayo pull out their weapon, obvious hint of excitement are clearly seen on their face when they see him pull out his sword as well. He won't use his teigu on them yet since he wants to see how powerful they are first. It would be very interesting if they manage to survive if he ever use the teigu on them. Would Kuro be angry if he knows he intend to take a new soldier to work under him? If he does then he couldn't wait to see it.

" Show me what you got newbie. Take this as a welcome celebration for your arrival."

Ieyasu grip his axe tightly while Sayo grip her bow with her left hand and hold the arrow with the other one and point it Tatsumi. Just like in their previous combat Sayo focus on attacking the target from the long distance while the boy focus on short distance. They are a good partners but sadly Tatsumi only want one of them. He avoids the arrow easily and dodge the swinging axe in ease.

"Fast." He smirks.

Ieyasu looks serious when he fight and the way he jumps all of a sudden give Ttsumi a bit of thrill when he make a huge hole on the ground beneath him and start to run as the dozens of arrow chase him from behind.

"Come on guys! You can do better than that."

The girl can easily shoot four arrows at the same time and hit anywhere she wants, her eyes are sharp but her face looks innocent and sweet. Most people would have thought she was just a harmless girl and let their guard down and as for the boy he is cheerful but when he is fighting Tatsumi can tell that if his skills sharpen he can spar on with Seryu soon. Not as strong as a general but strong enough to protect himself from the Night Raid. He might have the ability to possess a teigu as well.

"Ieyasu!" Sayo shouts.

The boy startle when Tatsumi suddenly appear before him and kick him with full force forcing his body to go backwards and hit the concrete wall. The hole made was huge and Sayo could only gasp to see the strength of someone on another different level.

"I'm right behind you." He whispers.

She bushes when she feels the sudden breath under her ear and look behind to see Tatsumi smirking at her.

"Don't look away when the enemy is attacking." He advises before snapping her fore head

"Ouch!"

Ieyasu stand up and look at them with an annoy look. "HEY! NOT FAIR!" He shouts.

"I can't fight a girl when she's not in defense." Tatsumi tells. "If I do then I might accidentally kill her in accident."

Sayo can't stop blushing while Ieyasu just smile and place his arm around Tatsumi shoulder. "You're cool!" He says. Tatsumi simply smile back at them and laugh. On the same day when the night comes he talk to the noble family and they all simply smile. Their smile widens when he told them he will let them have one of those two.

"Let the nightmare begins!"

This will be a fun night especially when he feels the presence of Night Raid nearby.
