Bravely Battle
I stare into unblinking eyes.
I see my foes so much despised.
I feel their anger, feel their hate.
I feel the hour growing late.
…
I tighten grip upon my sword.
I ogle at the monsters' claws.
And yet I stand, and so I frown.
I wonder what is going down.
…
Still I stand and still I'm idle.
The monsters, they all start to bridle.
I wait for battle to begin.
All of us no longer grin.
…
But then suddenly I start to move.
Suddenly I get my groove.
Suddenly I strike my foe.
Suddenly we're on the go.
…
And as I fight I hear a voice.
One I do not hear by choice.
Makes me confused like before.
"Mum," it says, "five minutes more!"
