So here it is, the last and final chapter of the story. Kinda sad, huh?... Well I hope you like it ;)

Tris POV.

I look out of the window and automatically gets chills, outside the snow is falling and lying on the ground like giant cotton blanket. When I was my teenage years I hated Christmas, I thought it was way too much. But after we had kids, we are going all in on Christmas. Some years it looks like freaking Santa Claus' home. My thoughts are interrupted by the door opening, I walk out in the hall way and the sight makes me laugh. Tobias is struggling with a BIG Christmas Tree, and he swearing a lot. He looks up at me with red cheeks, ears and nose.

"Hey Love, isn't it just perfect?" He says with a wide smile.

"Sure, and very big. How did you manage to get it back here?"

"I got some help" He says, and behind him Jonah comes in also struggling with the giant tree.

"Hi Mom, where do you want this son of a bitch?" He asks, clearly annoyed about carrying the heavy weight. I let out a little laugh.

"I think the living room would be fine" I say and move out of the way. "You want me to help?"

"No we got this" Tobias says as they walk past me and into the living room, putting the giant tree on the floor. I walk over to hug my son.

"Where's my little princess?" I ask as I pull back.

"Just getting her doll in the car"

I can't say that we were found of the idea of becoming grandparents this early, Jonah was twenty years old when he sat down and told us how his girlfriend now was pregnant. Though he was young he didn't think twice about staying with her and taking his responsibility. It wasn't like Tobias and I were any better; I got pregnant when I was 24, which he also used as a reason for us not freak out. We were worried that he wasn't really ready, but all that worry washed away the day that little girl came into the world. Never have I ever seen a man looking at someone with so much love before. I think it was me who wasn't ready, I still remember how I frowned when Jonah looked down at the newborn baby and said: "You want to go and say hello to grandma", and I also remember Tobias leaning in whispering: "The sexiest grandma alive if you ask me". When you think about the sun it shines, and as I am thinking about these memories a little brown haired head pops in.

"Grandma!" She exclaims and runs towards me, I easily pick up the now four year old girl.

"Hey Sweetheart! God you've grown so much since I saw you last time! You're almost as tall as me" I say and give her an impressed look, she just giggles.

"You're being silly! I am still a little girl" She says, I smile at her and put her down on the ground again. "We got a pretty tree! Can't wait for Christmas! When is it?!" She asks excited.'

"The day after tomorrow" Tobias says. He walks over to me, and wraps his arms around me.

"I don't believe you gave me a kiss yet" He says, and leans in capturing his lips with mine. It's funny how I still get all excited about physical contact with him, I mean he is 48 and I am 47 and we've been together forever, you would have thought we would get used to it by now. But my heart still flutter like when we were teenagers.

"We can't have that" I whisper, before giving him a quick kiss on the lips. I look at the tree, and it's clearly too big to stand up in here. "No ruin the Christmas mood or anything, but that is way too tall to be in here" I say pointing at it.

"I tried to tell him, but he was stubborn as always. Plus, do you even have enough decoration stuff to come on this" Jonah says, picking up his daughter from the ground.

"Hush! I will just cut a little off" Tobias says, this makes me laugh.

"Tobias, I love you, but you really aren't a handy man. You don't know how to use a saw" He pokes me in the sides.

"Hey now, that's not true. I am handy indeed"

"I recall you spending like five hours putting a IKEA closet together" Jonah says, clearly amused about this teenage memory.

"That's because the manual was in Swedish" He says crossing his arms over his chest.

"Yeah yeah, whatever makes you sleep at night" Jonah and I share a look, and both bite down our bottom lip to stifle our amusement.

"Laugh all you want. I am going to fix this, you wait and see"

I place the last Christmas presents under the uneven tree, I smile to myself as I see it tilt slightly to one side. Tobias was so proud of his work, that I didn't say a thing. Tobias walks in from the kitchen, wrapping his arms around me.

"Jesus, Mrs. Eaton. You almost gave me a heart attack, you look stunning in this dress. But we can't have that you spill anything on it, so maybe we should take it off for a while" He says in a husky voice, and places a kiss on my neck. I giggle and escape his embrace.

"Tobias! The guests are coming in a moment, enough of that dirty behavior" I say pointing a warning finger at him.

"Dirty behavior?" He asks with an amused expression. I shoot him a playful death glare, and he lifts up his hand in mock defense. The doorbell rings, and I place a kiss on his mouth on the way out to open. When I open, my legs are tackled by the tiny blond girl. She is smiling widely up at me.

"It Christmas, Grandma!" She exclaims, I pick her up and give her a big kiss on the forehead.

"It sure is, Honey. Run in to Granddad, and see the beautiful tree" I tell her and put her back down, and she is gone as soon as her feet hit the ground.

"Come in" I say, and wrap my arms around Jonah as he steps in.

"Merry Christmas, Mom" He says and gives me a little squeeze.

"Julia, it's so nice to see you. How is everything?" I ask, and embrace the beautiful blond woman my son has fallen for.

"Everything is just fine, I've been busy at work but I can finally take some time off. Merry Christmas by the way" We start to walk into the living room, where Tobias and Clara is putting the last presents under the tree.

"Look mom and dad! Grandpa made the tree fit!" She says with a big smile. Jonah leans over to me.

"You haven't said anything huh?" He sounds amused, and I smile at him.

"No, and you shouldn't either. Just pretend" He chuckles and steps back.

"Smells nice here, looking forward to the food. Where is Thea?"

"She at a friend's house, she has been there the past 4 days or something" Tobias answers, clearly showing off his problem with that.

"She's coming home later, Christina and Will are coming too" I say.

"Yeah, I know. Liam told me. Caleb?"

"No, he was going somewhere. Can't remember where. Julia, could you be a life saver and give me a hand in the kitchen?"

"Sure thing"

"Oh my God! Look at you!" Christina squeals, almost making it ring for my ears.

"Didn't you see each other, like a week ago?" Liam asks, looking bored already.

"We did, but she wasn't wearing this sexy thing!" Christina says and points at my dress, making me blush slightly.

"Okay, enough from the fashion expert. Please come in, dinner is ready soon" I say waving them in, giving Will and Liam a hug on the way. Liam scans the room when he gets in.

"Where's Thea?" I smile to myself, we've known for the last couple of years that Liam has a thing for Thea. If it's just some strong friendship thing or if it's love, we don't know yet.

"She will be here soon" Tobias says, and pads him roughly on the back. As we are speaking we hear the keys in the lock.

"right on time, dinner is served" I say and people start to take a seat around the big table. Thea comes in, wearing Tobias' old Bears cap.

"Hey Honey, dinner is ready. Take a seat" I say. She looks around, and blushes when Liam flashes her a little shy smile.

"Uhmm, I will just go up and change. One second" She mumbles and disappears up the stairs.

"It's insane how much Tris is like you back then, it's like taking a trip back in time" Will says.

"Yeah, we get that a lot" I say with a little laugh. 2 minutes later she comes back down, wearing a casual, yet nice, outfit. She sits down in front of Liam, and smiles a little before digging into her food. Dinner is uneventful, a lot of small talk.

"So sis, how was is it at that friend's house?" Jonah asks, saying the word friend sarcastically. At this Liam's head snaps up from the plate, looking uncomfortable and jealous. Guess it's more than a strong friendship thing.

"It was very nice. She invited over some more friends last night, we just hung out and watched Christmas movies. Nothing special" Thea says, shooting her brother a death glare for insinuating her staying at a boyfriend's house. Liam looks more relaxed, and gets back to eating with a small smile playing on his lips. Christina and I exchange a knowing look. After dinner it's time to open the presents, even though most families do it the morning after, we like to do it in the evening. We all settle down around the tree.

"Jesus that tree is uneven, how does it even stand" Thea says, looking up at the tree with a frown. We all start to laugh at her candor, and I turn to see Tobias pounding like a little kid. I laugh and kiss his cheek.

"Don't worry, Love. There're so many other things you are good at"

"Don't be sad, Granddad. I think it's a pretty tree" Clara says and climb unto Tobias' lap, making us all go awe.

"Thank you, sweetheart. You are now my new favorite woman, and so you get to pick first" She lights up, and run to the biggest box of them all. Which happen to be from me and Tobias, it's some very special doll she wanted. She gets very excited, and starts playing with it instantly. Next up is Jonah, he opens the one from us too.

"Wow, a new laptop. Thank you so much"

"Yeah, since you are going to try to write a book, we thought you needed a new one" Tobias says.

"You know, Jonah. Most armature writers never break through" Thea says in a mocking tone.

"Guess the same goes for female soccer players" This earns him a bottle cap in the head, before Thea picks a present.

"That one is from us" Christina says. Thea unwraps it and hold out a Bayern Munich keeper jersey up, with "Neuer" printed on the back. She looks at them in awe.

"Thank you so much!" She exclaims.

"It was Liam's idea" Will says, and nods his head towards his now very flushed son.

"I just remembered that you talked about him, how he was the best when he played. Hope it's the right one" He says with a nervous chuckle. The just gets up and wrap her arms around his neck, bringing him into a huge hug. At first he is so surprised that he doesn't know what to do, but after he wraps his arms around her waist. Enjoying the hug, as much as we enjoy to watch it.

"You totally got the hots for my sister" Jonah says with a laugh. The two choose to ignore that comment and break their embrace, Thea choose to take the seat beside him. Hours later we were finally through all the presents, and we just sitting and admiring them. Tobias got me a silver necklace with a little heart on, and I got him a new watch. We were all just sitting and talking, I was occasionally looking at Thea and Liam. Right now they are sitting in their own little bobble, talking, laughing and sometimes touching.

"He is a great kid, she knows how to pick them. Gives me some peace" Tobias whispers from beside me.

"I know, she takes that after me. I sure as hell know how to pick my men" I say aloud.

"True sister!" Christina says with a big smile. Clara puts down her doll, and climbs up on my lap.

"Are you happy with all your presents, Sweetie?" I ask her, placing a kiss on the top of her head.

"Uh-huh" She says nodding her little head, leaning against my chest and looking up at me.

"Grandma, how did you and Granddad get together?"

I smile to myself, thinking back to when we met. Even though it's so long time ago, I can still remember every single detail. What he was wearing the day we met, where he took me on our first date and what we had for dinner. I remember every happy memory, and they seem to over shine all the not so good memories. When that is said, it doesn't mean that I forgot about them. But we had a happy life together, and we HAVE a happy life together and I know that the rest of our life are going to be at least just as happy. I loved my friend, I loved my boyfriend, I loved my fiancé and God I love my husband and my children. I look over at Tobias, and I am sure that he is replaying everything in his head as well.
'I love you' I mouth to him.
'Love you more' He mouths back, flashing a huge grin. I look back down at Clara, who is watching me with expectation written all over her face.

"It's a complicated story, it starts with to people hating each other"

"But it ends well" Clara states.

"Yeah sweets" I say, reaching over taking Tobias' hand.

"It indeed ends well"
