LAST FUCKING CHAPTER! WOO!

Never touching this motherfucker again omg

Noooope

So done. Can't even describe it to you guys.

It's basically the same, just...edited. Still not great but hey.

Shit's still shit no matter how much glitter you add.

Also, depressed monologue in here so if that sort of thinking bothers you, you can just skip the first part of the fic.

"Alice! Get your ass down here and eat or else I'll come up there and eat you!" Louis shouted from the bottom of the stairs.

I rolled my eyes with a sigh and pushed away from my computer. I'd been flicking through my saved pictures for the last hour now and had finally stopped on a candid one I had taken of Kisame and Itachi. They were in the backyard after a training session, Kisame grinning at Itachi while Itachi tried to hide an amused smile behind a water bottle.

It was my favorite picture.

Six months had passed since they left. To be honest, life sucks shit without the Akatsuki. It felt so empty and boring. Life had always been boring before the Akatsuki, but I had been semi-content with it. But after experiencing the excitement and joy that they brought with them, it was hard to find the same level of stimulation and pleasure now that they were gone.

Depression sucks, kids. Ten out of ten would not recommend.

I was basically just existing from moment to moment, only really remembering things of importance or the small bright moments of clarity and happiness that would occasionally come up. Otherwise, the weeks just sort of blended together and I sometimes forgot what day it was.

It was much the same for Kathryn, but it seemed like she was suffering worse because she was always so open and upfront about her feelings. I did my best to be there for her. Kathryn had always been a bright spot in my life and her being sad or hurt always upset me twice as much as whatever bothered me. So, I made a point to make her happy or smile or laugh at least once every day, even if I didn't feel up to it.

Her happiness wasn't my responsibility, of course, but it made me feel better when she wasn't so bogged down with her depression. It got me out of my own head and gave me something else to focus on. Sometimes it worked. There were a few instances where her happiness spread to me and we both were happy. Sometimes it didn't. Those weren't great days, but when it came down to it—at least we had each other.

And Brett and Louis. Brett was a ray of sunshine at all times and Louis was an expert at making us both laugh or forget about the shit that was bothering us. Kathryn spent a lot of time at my place just because Brett, Louis, and I were the best at giving her something to look forward to and be happy about.

Still, it wasn't all bad.

Kathryn and I both graduated a year early from high school, so we were out of that hellhole. With leaving school, we had an excuse to not talk to our other friends as much, though Kathryn made an effort to keep in contact with a few of her friends while I communicated mainly by tagging my friends in memes on social media. Otherwise, I sort of cut contact with everyone except for Kathryn.

Healthy? No.

Did I care? Absolutely fucking not.

I'm a teenager. Angst is pretty much in my job description, okay?

My night terrors were a pretty frequent, reoccurring thing. On average, I had them about once a week—though sometimes I would skip a week and then have two the next week to make up for the reprieve. Eventually Louis and Brett just convinced me that sleeping in their room would help. It did, to an extent, but mainly it helped by me staying awake to fend off night terrors instead of sleeping and risking one.

I refused to sleep in there every night because I was not about to cock-block either of them, or risk waking up to them getting frisky in the bed next to me. No thank you.

"Alice, do not make me come up there!"

Walking into the kitchen I swatted him in the back of the head. "Oh, shut up you raging homo."

Louis manhandled me for a second so he could drape himself over my shoulders, leaning in close to kiss my cheek. "She's so sexy when she's feisty."

"You're a pervert," I replied.

Brett smiled at us before addressing me directly. "You have a guest, sweetie."

I didn't even need to look to see Kathryn sitting beside him, but I did anyway. She smiled at me, half-assed though it was, and I returned it. Kathryn was pretty much a permanent fixture in the condo these days, so her not being there would actually be more surprising. We were always together.

"Hey, Kat. When did you get here?"

"Just now," she said. "Louis demanded I come over. Not sure why, though."

"You two need to get laid. You're both being Debby Downers and I hate it." Louis plopped a plate of food on the table in front of me and gave us both looks.

I rolled my eyes. "You're a perverted asshole and I hate it, but I never said anything."

"Alice," Brett said disapprovingly. "Don't be rude."

"Yes, mom."

Louis sat down next to Brett and scowled at me from across the table. "You haven't been sleeping."

"What else is new?" I asked dryly.

"Alice, don't make me fucking hurt you," he snapped. "You've been forcing yourself to stay awake so you don't have nightmares. I know you are because I wake up and see you doing it. Knock it off."

I sighed and closed my eyes. "Sorry, Lou, but I can't help it. I hate the feeling."

"Get over it. You're hurting yourself more by not sleeping at all."

"Alright, alright, I get it. I'll stop," I said defensively, raising my hands in defeat.

Kathryn gave me a worried look. "Alice, maybe you should go see a doctor or something about those. They might be able to help."

"Hard pass," I said. "I've been to the doctor about my sleeping habits and everything else before. They just keep trying different medicines and none of it works. Half of the sleeping pills they'd prescribe won't work with the garbage antidepressants they force down my throat. I'm so over taking pills. I'm just gonna start smoking weed or chugging CBD oil."

"You're not supposed to chug it," Louis said under his breath and I kicked him under the table because fucking no shit. "Ow!"

"Stop it," Brett chided. "Alice, medicinal marijuana in healthy moderation is one thing, but just smoking weed to try and numb yourself is something entirely different. You're not doing that. You will not be abusing any substances while under my roof or I'm going to fight you."

I looked at the ceiling. "Oh my god, I was joking. When have you ever known me to do that?"

Brett gave me a look.

"I'm gonna fight you," I snapped. "I don't abuse my pain killers, you fucker."

"You take too many."

"The doctor gives me a really low dosage. He's told me I can take more than the label says if I need to as along as I don't exceed a certain amount. I am very careful about it. Ask Louis."

Louis blinked when Brett turned to look at him. "She is, babe. You know how easily it is for her family to get addicted to shit. Alice would never risk it."

Brett looked back at me with narrowed eyes. "You need to go to a chiropractor."

"You need to go to a shrink if you think I'm letting anyone touch me that much. Fuck no. I'll just die instead."

"I'll rip that chiropractor's hands off if they even think about getting all handsy with you," Louis grumbled.

"Fucking right," I agreed and we high-fived.

Brett pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed deeply. "You two are so ridiculous I don't even know where to begin."

Kathryn snickered, tapping at her phone. "Maybe you should try and get on the stuff I'm currently taking for my depression, Alice. It's actually really helping. I don't know how it'd effect your sleep, but it might help you, too?" She turned her phone to show me her medicine.

I glanced at the screen and shook my head. "Nah. They tried me on that three months ago. It was so bad."

"Yeah, that stuff just made it worse. You're not going back on that," Brett added, leaning over to take a look for himself. "Though, to be fair, they put you on it as an antidepressant and then didn't give you a mood-stabilizer. You went full manic. You can't give someone with bipolar disorder an antidepressant and then not give them a mood-stabilizer or they're going to go apeshit. Hence, Alice having her manic episode."

Kathryn glanced at me. "This was during those couple of weeks when we hardly talked to each other? Every time I came over, it felt like you were trying to avoid me."

I made a face. "Don't wanna do that again. I was really mean and irrational."

"Bad news," Louis mumbled while Brett nodded in agreement. He tapped the table in front of me. "Your food is going to get cold."

I ate about half food on my plate before I started feeling nauseous and full. It was a fairly common occurrence, even before the Akatsuki, so Louis and Brett both never gave me a lot of food at first. They always made plenty, but they didn't pile food onto my plate. I usually was pretty good about eating most of it, but today I hadn't managed to.

"Alice, are you okay?" Brett asked, reaching across the table to feel my head.

"I'm fine, Bee. I just don't feel very well today," I admitted. "I have a migraine from hell and it's ruining my appetite." I looked at Louis. "I'm sorry, Louis, I can't eat all this."

He shrugged. "It's fine, Alice. Don't make yourself sick."

Kathryn was rubbing her forehead. "Now that you mention it, my head hurts really badly too."

I turned to Louis and he was already glaring at me, knowing what I was going to say. "Maybe it's your cooking."

"Hey, fuck you, Alice," he snapped. "You can suck my cock. Take that sass of yours and shove it straight up your ass. It's not appreciated."

"Neither is your cooking apparently," I muttered under my breath, loud enough for him to hear.

Brett snickered. "Alice, be nice."

Louis kicked me under the table. "You're such a little brat."

Brett swatted him. "Leave her alone. Alice, do you want something for your headache?"

"I can get it, Bee," I told him, getting up from the table. "Kat? You want something? I've got some over the counter shit that should work for your headache. Or you can take some Tums for whatever Louis tried to poison you with."

"I am literally going to stab you," Louis snapped and I dodged the green bean he threw at me.

Kathryn was grinning as she joined me by the medicine cabinet. Thanks to Konan healing my shoulder, my number of pill bottles had diminished a bit, but there were still plenty when one added all of my meds, Louis' medicine, and the generic shit Brett kept stocked.

I reached up to grab a bottle of pills when suddenly, I blacked out.

I winced as I sat up, rubbing my head.

A bird tweeted somewhere nearby without walls to muffle the sound. How loud and close it sounded instantly gained my attention. When I looked to see what the fuck was going on, I was surprised to see I was sitting in the middle of an open field.

Surprised was a very mild way of putting it.

"What the fuck…?" I asked, glaring around as if it was the field's fault that I was alone and confused. "Where in the shit am I?"

When the grass, bugs, and birds didn't answer me, I tried a different approach.

"Am I dreaming?" I smacked myself in the face. "Nope, but my face hurts now."

I stood and looked around again as if the landscape would change if I glared hard enough. "Well, I'm not getting any answers just sitting around here. I'll just follow this lovely little dirt trail and see where the fuck I'm at."

I followed the strangely out of place dirt trail through more field to see more grass, more dirt, an occasional tree, and a fucking village.

That's right I said village.

Right smack dab in front of me was an old-timey village. I instantly assumed this was some terribly directed M. Night Shyamalan movie so I punched myself in the leg just to be sure. When I knew I wasn't dreaming, dead, suicidal and no weird creatures were coming to eat me because I was wearing a red shirt, I continued on my way.

It was around the time I almost reached the village when a huge explosion caught my attention.

Now normally I'd probably join the screaming hysterical people running away from the explosion. My self-preservation skills are fairly functional, so I'm not usually dumb enough or that mentally fucked to flirt with death. But I was lost, confused, pissed, and I wanted some fucking answers.

So, I walked straight to that fucking explosion to see what was going down.

When I got to the village, I didn't see anything at first except for fire and smoke and burning houses. But then there were a few blurs and a couple of those blurs slowed down enough for me to see men wearing masks and very familiar black and silver body armor. I squinted at them, hoping to god I wasn't actually about to walk on a bunch of LARPing cosplayers in Konoha ANBU getup.

But, then, I personally didn't know any cosplayers that could shoot a fucking fireball out of their mouths like a goddamn dragon.

Wouldn't that be cool, though?

"KATSU!" a loud, powerful, familiar voice shouted.

"Wait just one damn minute! I know that voice!" I took off running in the direction of said voice. I dodged around a few burning buildings and headed for the other side of the village since that's where the small explosions were coming from and it seemed to be where the ANBU were focusing.

As I whipped around the corner of the smoldering ruins of a house, I saw them.

Two men wearing black cloaks with red clouds were finishing off the last two of the ANBU agents. One of the men had long blond hair that covered half of his face. His ponytail was whipping around in the wind as he threw explosive clay animals at people.

The other one was short and had a long metal tail thingy that resembled a scorpion's tail poking out of its butt. Said scorpion tail impaled the last two ninjas easily. The tail whipped around with both of the dying men still attached, and then their bodies went flying into one of the burning buildings as they were flung off the tail.

Is it just me, or does someone else see fellow social outcasts?

"Deidara! Sasori!" I shouted, sprinting straight for them.

Deidara jumped in surprise and turned to look in my direction, clearly surprised that someone was shouting his name at him. He had just enough time to spot me, cock his head to the side and say my name in utter confusion, before I tackled him. He went down with a yelp and we hit the ground clinging to each other.

"Alice?" Deidara demanded excitedly.

"Deidara, I missed you so fucking much, you have no idea!" I yelled, still latched onto him. "I'm so confused and I don't know what the fuck is going on, but I'm so glad to see you, holy shit!"

"What are you doing here, un?" he asked, standing up with me. I was still hugging him because I'm pretty sure if I let him go, he'd disappear. He held on just as tightly, clearly still processing whatever what happening.

"I don't have a fucking clue," I admitted. "I'm just really happy to see you."

He grinned at me. "It's good to see you too, Alice. Is Kathryn here, too?"

I shook my head, giving him one last hug and then letting him go. "I dunno. She was with me before I woke up in that stupid field. I'm sure she's around here somewhere."

"You really should keep better track of your friends," a deep, raspy voice told me.

I grinned and turned to Sasori. "Well, I suppose I could just be a fucking creep and turn them into puppets so they I can't lose them."

"Now you see sense," he replied. "Terrible comeback, though, Alice. I'm disappointed. It's been months and that's all you have to offer me?"

I rolled my eyes. "When we get somewhere safe, I want a fucking hug because I missed the shit out of you guys. That means no Hiruko. After that, I'll give you all the sarcasm you want, asshole."

"Whatever. You're exhausting."

"Your face is exhausting."

"We should go back to base Danna," Deidara told Sasori, cutting us off before we could get started. "Maybe someone else knows why Alice is here." He curled his arm around my waist to squeeze me against his side in a one-armed hug. "Not that I'm complaining, yeah."

"I am," Sasori grumbled. He retracted Hiruko's tail into the confines of the cloak and then started slowly scraping his way away from the village. "Let's go."

"How far we going?" I asked after kicking Hiruko. I tried to dodge the swipe of Sasori's tail, but he still managed to trip me. Deidara caught me before I could fall and he shoved me onto his other side so I wouldn't try and kick Sasori again.

He didn't make any noise, but I just knew Sasori was laughing at me.

"Not far, yeah," Deidara replied. "We only came out here to get something for Leader-sama." He showed me some scroll thingy.

"And you ran into Konoha ANBU?" I asked.

"That's why we came out here and not Itachi," Sasori said. "He's been spotted and recognized one too many times in this area because he likes the tea shop they have here. So, we came to kill Konoha's informant and grab the information scroll he sends to the Hokage about Itachi's movements. The ANBU were unexpected, but not exactly a challenge."

I hummed. "Makes sense. So, you guys don't have any idea of how I got here?"

Deidara shook his head. "No idea."

"I know Pein-sama was researching the jutsu that sent us to your world. I think he was trying to reverse-engineer it to bring you here. He must have been successful."

I squinted. "How'd he manage that?"

Sasori sighed. "You'd have to ask him. The sooner we get back, the sooner you can do that and leave me alone."

"Just for that, I'm going to sing, Sasori."

"I will poison you."

"Bring it on. Your presence alone is poison enough, pipsqueak."

Sasori made an inarticulate sound of rage from within Hiruko.

Deidara just laughed at us.

I had missed them so fucking much.

Third Person!

Kathryn rubbed her head as she sat up. "Ow, what the hell happened?"

There was a familiar and sorely missed bark of laughter. "Holy shit, it fucking worked!"

Kathryn froze and her eyes snapped open, immediately searching for the source of the voice. It was hard to see as her eyes adjusted to the dimly lit, vast cavern she was in, but she tried anyways. After a moment of scanning the darkness, she finally pinpointed the man she was looking for.

"Hidan?" she asked, voice soft but hopeful.

"In the fucking flesh, you skinny bitch!" Hidan said with a grin, throwing his arms out.

Kathryn shrieked with excitement. "Hidan!" She was instantly on her feet, barreling into Hidan and knocking him down. "Hidan, I missed you so much!"

"Ouch, you fucker. That hurt. I missed you too, but damn. Warn a guy would you?" He rubbed his ass as he stood up, lifting Kathryn off the ground, too.

Kathryn just hugged him tighter, sniffling. "I'm sorry, I'm just so happy."

Hidan patted her back. "It's fine, dumbass. Calm the fuck down."

A deep chuckle came from beside Hidan, instantly drawing Kathryn's attention. She detached herself from Hidan and threw herself at Kakuzu. Kakuzu caught her easily and he held still as she clutched onto him and kissed his cheek. He patted the top of her head tolerantly as she cried into his shoulder.

"Kakuzu, I missed you! I promise I'll never make fun of your obsession with money again!" She pulled away to look up at him and she shook him a little. "I'll rob people for you, I don't even care!"

"I appreciate the offer," Kakuzu said dryly. "It's good to see you, kid. However, where is Alice? We summoned her with you."

Kathryn shrugged. "Eh, she's probably around here somewhere."

There was a raspy snicker from nearby. "Aren't you concerned?"

"Kisame!" Kathryn cried. She dropped from Kakuzu and ran over to Kisame. "Kisame, hi!"

"Hey, Kathryn," Kisame replied, hugging her back and ruffling her hair. "Glad you're here."

She smooched his cheek and then she moved to Itachi. Itachi returned the embrace gently, patting her back and murmuring a soft greeting. She hugged him tight, pulling back a bit to give him a grin. "Itachi!"

Itachi returned her grin with his own small smile. "It's good to see you again, Kathryn."

"Tobi missed Kathryn-chan!"

"Tobi, you crazy little bastard, get over here and hug me!" Kathryn demanded, releasing Itachi. She and Tobi met in the middle, slamming into each other and then jumping around as they embraced.

"How did anyone miss that? Oh, be quiet, I think it's nice. I missed Kathryn and Alice. No one asked you. You did. It was a rhetorical question!" Zetsu growled.

"ZETSU!" Kathryn yelled, hugging the plant man. "I'll become a carnivore now! I don't care! I missed you!"

His white half chuckled and greeted Kathryn with kind words while the black half told her she was strange and he was going to eat her if she didn't go away.

"Danna, you're being really mean you know, un. It's not like she meant for that to happen. Though, it was pretty funny."

Kathryn's head snapped around like a dog caught on the scent of prey.

"Dei?" she whispered desperately. Her attention was locked on the entrance to the room she and the others were in.

"I told you she was fucking somewhere around here, Sasori. Now you can't be such a little asshole about it. I'm not her keeper as much as I seem to get stuck with the job." There was a soft thud and Deidara yelped. "Move your ass, Deidara. You walk too slow."

"Ouch! Why did you kick me, yeah?"

"Your and your short legs need to get out of my way!"

"I'm not short, hmm!"

"Sure seems that way, Frodo."

"Who the fuck is Frodo?"

Sasori sighed. "You're both so energetic."

First Person Alice!

As I entered the room, Sasori and I wisely shifted out of the way, clearing a path. Less than a second later, Deidara went flying backwards with the force of Kathryn's hug. I cackled at the winded noise he made at impact and then how he groaned as he was slammed onto the floor. With Sasori on my heels, I left Kathryn and Deidara to it and continued into the room she came from like I owned the place.

"Alright, motherfuckers," I announced to the room. "Y'all got some explaining to do. Whether or not the answers come before or after reunion hugs is up to you."

"Alice."

I grinned and turned to face the man I'd been dying to see. "Fuck, that voice of yours is a lethal weapon and I missed it. Get over here, Itachi!"

He was beside me instantly, wrapping his arms around me in a hug that I had needed for months now. It was amazing and it only improved when he kissed me. I hugged and kissed him back, curling my arms over his shoulders and pulling him closer so the kiss would last just a little longer.

I missed him so much.

"Itachi, I know you're overjoyed to see her and all, but I want a hug!"

Itachi extracted one arm from our embrace and flicked Kisame off, still kissing me.

I started laughing, along with the others. I pulled back and pressed my forehead to Itachi's for a moment, basking in his presence, before shifting to step away from him. He let me go with a small but genuine smile. He gave my hand a squeeze and then tilted his head towards Kisame meaningfully.

I sped over to my favorite shark and then jumped into his arms. He caught me easily and pulled me into a hug, spinning me in a circle.

I hugged him back as tightly as I could. It felt like a piece of me that was missing had finally come home. "I missed you so much, Kisame!"

"I missed you too, kid." He rested his head against mine as I buried my face into his neck.

There is nothing better than a Kisame hug.

After Kisame and I finally released each other, he set me down and I headed for the others.

Kakuzu and Hidan were next on my list and seeing them again lifted a huge weight off my shoulders. Once I was done with them, I was all but tackled by Tobi which hurt but it was worth it because I fucking missed Tobi/Obito/Madara/whatever he wanted to call himself at the moment. We hugged for a few moments before I took a second to greet Zetsu with a hug which his white-half returned.

Eight down. Two to go.

"Konan!" I shouted when I spotted her and I jogged over to her.

She opened her arms when I got near her and she laughed softly when I scooped her up into a hug. She returned the embrace warmly. "Hello, Alice."

"I missed you," I told her. "Are you okay? How are you? My world sucked without you there to brighten everything up."

Konan released a soft huff of amusement. "Breathe, Alice." She pulled back and squeezed my shoulders soothingly. "I missed you as well. I'm just fine, thank you for asking. It has been very lonely and quiet without you and Kathryn here, so we're glad you're here." She kissed my cheek. "It's very good to see you again."

"Likewise." I said. "I've been worried sick about all of you."

"You're sweet," Konan said. "Even if you claim you're not."

"Hush, Konan, I have a reputation to maintain."

She laughed at me and nudged me. "Go and greet Pein. This whole thing was his idea."

"Of course it was, the softie!" I scoffed and Konan winked at me.

I walked over to Pein, stopped a few steps away from him, and then made a few twitches and gestures. I waited with baited breath, wondering if he would remember…

"Did you just say that you saw a hippo eat your water-bottle?" he asked in confusion after a moment of staring at me with narrowed eyes.

I cackled and threw my hands up. "Yes, I did! You remembered!" I darted in while his guard was down and hugged him tight, definitely trying to break his bones with the force of my love and affection.

It didn't work.

He made an amused sound and smirked a bit as he patted my head. "How could I forget?"

"Because you're the leader of a criminal organization and a village, and all together a very busy man that shouldn't spend his time remembering random stuff such as a code you formed with a teenager." I said. All in one breathe.

Damn I'm good.

He shrugged. "Our code is very important to me."

I grinned. "Thank you, Pein."

"You're welcome, Alice," he said good-naturedly. "Thank you."

"You're welcome, too."

"Kathryn, calm down."

I turned around to see Kathryn positively strangling Sasori. She was hugging him and kissing the entirety of his face while Deidara stood nearby, nursing his swollen lips and watching her with a smile. If it was possible, Sasori would be suffocating. Despite the growl in his voice that made him sound like he was extremely annoyed with Kathryn, the expression on his face was reluctantly amused. He was sweet at heart and seemed to be tolerating her excessiveness like a champ.

I smiled as I walked over to Itachi and I took his hand to hold. He kissed my temple and pulled me closer, curling his arm around my waist. Kisame stepped up on my other side and slung his arm over our shoulders, matching my grin with his own.

"So, not that I'm complaining," I began, "but why are we here? Time for some answers."

"Uchiha and Dei-chan were being total pussies without you," Hidan informed me. "They just moped around the fucking base and lashed out at everyone."

"They only lashed out at you for calling them pussies," Kakuzu reminded his partner dryly. He turned his gaze to me. "You and Kathryn coming here was a decision made by the leaders."

"Though we all wanted it to happen," Kisame told me. "Even Kakuzu and Hidan."

"I didn't," Sasori chimed in.

Kisame met my gaze without missing a beat. "Sasori is full of shit."

"I believe it," I replied. "Not hard to fill up something that small with shit."

Sasori opened his mouth, eyes narrowing in offense. "Alice, I'm going to—"

"Both of you knock it off," Pein cut in, silencing Sasori with a look. "Alice. I saw that."

I gave him an innocent smile like he hadn't just caught me sticking my tongue out at Sasori.

Pein rolled his eyes. "It was a unanimous agreement that you two coming here would benefit the organization in many ways. The… moral boost, if you will, that you two bring is certainly a plus, but it was not the main reason we decided to summon you."

"Why else would you bring us?" Kathryn wondered.

I glanced at her. "Because we know the future, Kathryn."

She blinked. "Oh yeah! Well, you do. I'm not nearly as caught-up as you are. I'm only as far as…" her voice trailed off and she looked at Itachi. "Sasuke's a dick."

I nodded. "True. He is. Sorry, babe."

Itachi sighed. "You're not wrong."

I snickered and looked at Pein. "Regardless of the reasons why—though we're both happy to help however we can—we're just glad that you brought us here. We're happy to be with you all again."

"And we're glad to have you," Konan said.

"Thank you, Pein-sama!" Kathryn called. "Thank you, Konan! I can't tell you how much we've missed you guys. We're so thankful you summoned us!"

Konan just smiled at her. "Then I suppose that means you guys agree to stay?"

I scoffed. "Now that I'm here, there's no way in hell you're getting rid of me again. We missed you guys way too much and I'm not going to let any of you die or get hurt. With Kathryn and I here, we're gonna change the future."

"Yeah!" Kathryn agreed. "Oh! Can we also go sight-seeing? I want to see the Hokage Monument! And the Final Valley! Ah! I want to meet Naruto!"

"Fuck the Hokage Monument, you bitch!" Hidan snapped. "No one wants to see that shit. And fuck Naruto. Why the hell do you want to meet fishcakes?"

"No one wants to see you!" Kathryn shot back and she stuck her tongue out at him. "Naruto's a person!"

"That's a stupid fucking name."

"Not as stupid as Hidan!"

"Here we go," Kakuzu said with a sigh as Hidan and Kathryn started shouting at each other.

"At least it's not Sasori and Alice," Kisame said, leaning more of his weight onto me until I was struggling to hold him up and Itachi looked like he was a few seconds away from taking Kisame out at the legs.

"Not yet," Kakuzu scoffed. "It's only a matter of time. Both of them have short fuses."

"You shut the fuck up, Alice," Sasori said with a growl.

"I didn't say anything!" I cried, though I was grinning at him.

He scowled. "You don't have to. One crack about my height and I'm going to kick you in the face."

"You can try," Itachi drawled, looking at Sasori out of the corner of his eye.

Kisame snickered, teeth bared in a grin. "Now this I'd like to see."

I leaned around Itachi, almost doubled-over with Kisame's weight on my back. "You can't get your foot up this high, shortcake."

Sasori pulled out a kunai and began stalking towards me. "Come here, Alice. Hold still."

I cackled and ducked out from under Kisame, shoving him towards Sasori. I quickly ran away to hide behind Pein while Kisame laughed at me. Either Pein would deter Sasori simply with his presence, or he would get annoyed and tell us all to knock it off. Regardless, he was safer than anyone else I could have hid behind from an enraged Sasori.

Hidan and Kathryn were shouting at each other with Kakuzu trying and failing to mediate until he got angry enough to tie them both up with his threads and gag them. Sasori was trying to get around Kisame to chase me down but Kisame was having fun getting his way. Deidara and Itachi were having a glare-off since Deidara had jumped in to defend his partner from Itachi's challenge. Konan had moved in to calm Kakuzu down before he killed Kathryn and Hidan. Tobi was heckling Deidara and Itachi while Zetsu commentated.

Pein was pinching the bridge of his nose and mumbling curses under his breath, no doubt seconds away from killing us all.

Same soup, just reheated.

I missed these idiots so much.

Love y'all. Thanks for sticking with this story.

Thank you for the reviews, follows, favorites, messages, and everything you guys have done in support of me and this little trilogy. You all are amazing and I love every single one of you. I know it's been a long, arduous, and mediocre journey but still. Thank you. Thank you to the new babies that still follow, favorite, and review even after so long. Thank you to you veterans that have been following me since the original CYK and anywhere in between. You guys are amazing.

This story might be utter shit to me and it might make me angry and want to delete it, but I am proud that it has made so many of you happy in some way, however small. If it made you smile or laugh at least once, then it has fulfilled its purpose. The Kitty Trilogy has brought me so many friends over the years and it has connected me to a lot of people I otherwise would never have spoken to. So even though I hate it, it does have a fond place in my heart.

Fun Fact: CYK2.0 alone has more words than the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 6th Harry Potter books.

Answer: My favorite Naruto opening is the 6th one in Shippuden, with Sign by FLOW. My favorite ending is Bacchi Koi by Dev Parade. I love all of the Naruto OP and ending songs, both in the original series and Shippuden. I have them all in my music library on my computer.

QotC: So my questions is: Favorite Disney song? Can be from any of the Disney/Pixar movies. Idc who sings it or whatever. What's your absolute favorite?

Mine is "Be Prepared" from the Lion King.

ARC: Anime recommendation is... Erased which is one of my favorite anime ever. It's just really well done. Beautiful animation, great characters and a really interesting story. It's kind of a thriller/crime/mystery type anime and it even utilizes time-travel/the much-loved Fanfic FIX-IT troupe and does it expertly. I'm not doing it justice by explaining it like this. Basically the main character has an ability that lets him rewind shit if something happens so he can go back and make sure whatever happens doesn't. Say, there was a car crash-he can go back and stop the crash before it happens. Anyways, he goes back in time to his childhood and gets mixed up in a whole murder mystery. It's so well done. Even if you start suspecting and catching on to what's happening, you're still on the edge of your seat and fixed the entire time. I have literally rewatched it all the way through like four times since it first came out and I always enjoy it from start to finish every time I rewatch it. 10/10
