You sat with Kid on a boat, headed with the others to the island from the fight ages ago.

For whatever reason, Kid had decided that you had better come with, probably to make sure that you were alright.

"You look worried." Kid's voice rose out above the rest of the worriedly chattering people, probably because he was right next to you.

"Why aren't you?" You asked with a small laugh.

"I am worried, but not as much because I have you with me." Kid said, kissing your hand with a small smile.

The boat landed, jolting both you and Kid forward and to the floor of the boat.

Kid quickly grabbed your arm and quickly helped you up and to your feet.

"Are you alright?" Kid asked in a worried tone once you stood on your own two feet.

"I'm fine." You said with a small smile that hoped to be reassuring.

"(Y/N), I don't think you'll be able to fight. I really don't want something to happen." He said, taking your hand and squeezing it.

"Maybe you're right." You said with a small sigh on your face.

"Kid, you wanted her to come with you so she would be safe." Liz reminded him.

Kid sighed in agreement, taking your hand and squeezing it as you both walked off of the boat.

You both walked through off the boat, Kid immediately ducking a passing-by arrow.

"(Y/N), look out!" Kid called, his voice being taken by the wind before you use your (weapon) to deflect the arrow.

His eyes widened across the way and he couldn't help but smile.

Kid absentmindedly ran across the way until he was right in front of you, stepping in front of you so nothing could happen to you.

One of the arrows came again, Kid throwing himself in front of you so you didn't fall.

"Kid!" You, Liz, and Patty all exclaimed at the same time.

Tears sprang to your eyes for an unknown reason. (A/N: This literally happened while I was actually writing this.)

You actually knew the reason. He was already hurt once because of you. You didn't want it to happen again.

You knelt in the snow, the could quickly seeping through your winter clothes, and grabbed onto him, sighing in relief when his eyes opened.

"Don't you ever do anything that stupid again, do you hear me?!" You wailed, clutching onto his coat and causing his golden eyes to widen.

"(Y/N)..." Kid started, reaching out a hand to you.

"You were already hurt once because of me. I'm not going to let it happen again." You said, continuing on even though he tried to hold you.

His arms wrapped around you, grabbing onto your back and squeezing you before kissing your cheek.

Arachne's men ran at the two of you, Kid jumping up and falling somewhat forward until you grabbed him and let him rest his weight onto you.

"Someone help!" You screamed, trying to make your voice come above the wind.

That's when you decided: you needed to sing: S.O.S. please someone save me this is not the way its supposed to be.

The one I love is wasted, and now its up to me, can anyone hear me? I need some help now. Please save us. Weapons need meisters and meisters need a way out of this mess we've created.

Your voice carried above the wind, and everyone from the DWMA happened to hear you.

Everyone came running toward you, Maka and Black*Star included.

"Guys, what happened?" Maka asked, her eyes wide.

"Kid took an arrow because of me. I tried to stop him, so I ended up having to sing over the noise to get some help. I couldn't carry his weight much longer." You said, wrapping your arms around Kid with relief that he was somewhat structurally sound.

Kid gave you a wavery smile, wrapping his own arms around you before (w/n), Liz, and Patty all turned back to normal.

You and the rest of the team managed to get Kid to the boat with a small smile on your face before he grabbed your hand.

"Kid, you really need to not do this. You're scaring me half to death, no pun intended, of course." You said as he smiled up at you.

While you were on the boat, your pocket mirror rang, and you answered it.

"(Y/N), how is my son doing?" Lord Death asked, his voice choked with worry.

"He's fine, Lord Death. Kid's right here, actually. Would you like to talk to him?" You asked, tilting your head and passing the mirror to Kid.

"Father?" Kid asked, trying to maintain his usual composure.

"Kid, are you alright? You must not be so reckless. You're going to either get yourself or everyone around you hurt!" Lord Death said.

"I understand that, Father. But what you don't understand is that I'm doing all of these things in order to help (Y/N)." Kid said, his voice somewhat cross.

"Kid..." You said, your eyes wide as you put a hand on your shoulder.

Kid seemed to just now realize that you were there because he took off, dropping the mirror in the process.

"Kid!" You exclaimed, grabbing the mirror and speaking to Lord Death again.

"I'm sorry, sir, I have no idea what's gotten into him." You said to your boyfriend's father.

"Oh, its alright, (Y/N). Its not your fault. Kid has always been hard-headed, I just think that he just wants you to be safe as he says." Lord Death said, shrugging.

"I think I'll go make sure that Kid's ok before I do anything else." You said, signing off with Lord Death before running across the boat to your boyfriend.

And so somehow ended another battle against Arachnophobia.
