*** SPOILERS IN THIS CHAPTER ***

(Kind of a huge skip).

Don't tell me I didn't warn you, Reader-san.

(Not that much of a spoiler to be honest...)

You sat by the river on the empty training field. You lay there silently as the fresh breeze blew across your face. It was a refreshing feeling, something that you wouldn't get; back at home. Suddenly this felt like Sword Art Online, it's just that there is no Game Master to tell you that you'll be trapped here and there was never a log out button anyway.

You started to worry about Naomi. I wonder what the difference of time is from here. But there wasn't a strong desire to get out, you actually enjoyed life here. I mean…no homework, nothing.

Just killing titans.

"Cheshire!" You heard Levi call out to you which caused you to return to reality. You looked over at him and saw him holding onto the reins of your horse – he then threw them back at you. "Don't lose focus, concentrate! We're in battle, it's not just some game!"

"R-Right." You held on tight to the reins and looked ahead of Levi. All of you were heading towards the forest (look at all these big-ass trees xD). This all seemed familiar, you knew it, it's the Female Titan arc. You glanced over at Eren on your right and saw him give you a reassuring smile. Damn you Eren, it's not time to be smiling at me. You should be worrying about your decision! You looked behind you and saw the Special OP squad. You winced and looked ahead again. Why the hell am I making the decision here?!

"THUMP! THUMP! THUMP!" It's the Female Titan, you could feel the vibration from the earth to your horse and finally to you. It was like an earthquake. Each step was so pulsing. Levi was calmly looking ahead even though the blonde titan was advancing towards us. You can see Eren's horrified face. The titan was nearly right on top of you guys as you saw it emerge from the tall forest woods. There she was. Big as ever, huge as ever. Not pixel but 3D. Too real to be unreal now.

There goes the reinforcements. They are going to die. One was grabbed and thrown on the floor. Blood barely splattered above eye-length. You tried not to look back but you couldn't. Even though you knew what was going to happen, you still watched. I am the murderer, not the Female titan.

As you hear the wires being shot out and steam steaming about, you knew the moment where you might have to jump in is near. If I jump in and die, I'll be able to return. Away from this cruel world. Was the first time in ever you thought that.

There was nothing to do that day, it was the nicest weather you've seen in a while. The river flowing by made you want to jump into the pristine liquid that shone into your eyes. You heard shuffles from a few feet away that caused you to turn around and see Mikasa, who was standing behind you with her icy but gentle glare (if that made any sense at all).

"Were you expecting someone else?" She said now standing beside you.

You looked up at her and her red scarf that was draped around her neck. "Not really…" You lied, secretly knowing you were expecting Levi.

"I'm wondering how you can survive in this world. You're strong."

You picked up a pebble and threw it into the river, purposely letting it skid across gracefully, which showed off your skills. "Hmph. I'm not what you think. Just a fangirl, ya know."

"Fangirl?" Now, Mikasa took a rock and threw it across the water so fast that it landed on the other end like it didn't touch the water at all; however ripples were in the water.

"Of this world. This show." You wanted to say. However you considered the fact that it was hardly believable anyway. To the characters at least.

The dark-haired finally sat down on the grassy plains. "Why do you adore Levi?"

"Why do you adore Eren?"

"Because he-"

"Yes I know he saved you and all that. But he seriously has some anger issu- he is so angry all the time. Almost unreachable."

"Levi is unreachable."

"Perhaps he is."

This was probably how Eren felt, how I feel right now. 'I'm just green, I won't understand'. He's going to experience it again, Levi is going to experience Petra's death again. I'm changing this whole universe, it can't happen like this. I'm ruining everything. You grinned and shouted at Levi. "I'm going to kill her!". Levi probably thinks you're crazy. Oh well. Beats you

Before Levi could reply physically or verbally, without hesitation you jumped out of the saddle and spun round using your grapple to hook onto the edge of the Female titan's shoulder. You gassed around her fast and took out your blades. You unlatched them and threw the pair at the titan's eyes. "Annie die you bitch!" She stopped moving - considered your comment and waved her arms about. She's probably going to regenerate one eye. You tried to use Levi's technique by slashing at her biceps which was sort of successful. You gassed around a tree which gained you access to see the titan's neck and slashing it. Learning from Mikasa, you steamed ahead full speed launching your blades straight at the Female titan's wrists instead.

She should have regained her eyesight by now. Is she not moving on purpose? You landed on a nearby tree and gripped the handle of the blades tightly. Nervousness started to wash through you, which hasn't happened before. You stared at the blonde titan that stood as if to wait for your attack that you are desperately trying to hold in. Sweat built up under your clothing.

Suddenly you heard a wire shot and you immediately looked at that direction. The short man stood on the opposite tree from yours with a glare that caused you to shiver. Shit, he looks angry. Come on, you knew he was going to react like this, you chose this path so don't regret it!

"L-Levi-" You shut your mouth quickly, gritting your teeth; you decided to go in with the attack. I can go back! I CAN GO BACK TO MY WORLD! A sudden surge of power rose within you and you drew your blades. You smirked at the titan that was in your range. "I'm all fired up now."

You hopped back a few steps giving yourself space. You ran with your blades crossed together in front of your face while you grappled on and swung to your right. Marking the spot with your now gleaming eyes, you lunged straight in for the neck. You heard Levi shout your name yelling for you to stop but you ignored it almost at ease. Giving the blonde no time for it to harden its skin, you fiercely slice right through the flesh – or so you thought, as an enormous hand swooped you up instantly, slicing the air with your body, throwing you down onto the hard surface brutally.

You couldn't even be bothered to embrace yourself for the fall. You didn't know if even Levi could save you now. It was like eternity when you fell from the sky, even at that speed. The floor finally made in contact with your fragile body. You felt your breath stop and every part of your body felt like having a million shards of glass piercing through your weak frame. Your whole body felt numb. You couldn't tell if your body was losing blood or not. You couldn't feel the pain at all. Barely opening your eyes you tried to organise your thoughts that were fading ever so slightly.

As your hitched breath began to loosen up, you heard Levi's burly shouts and the sound of blades slicing through meat and felt the tremble of each movement the gigantic thing made. At least you could make that out. One last shudder of the ground confirmed that the humanity's strongest killed that abnormal creature. Patter of footsteps gradually increased its distance and you squinted to see Levi kneeling beside you with a soggy splash. It sounded like water, but it wasn't raining, you knew it was blood – your blood.

"Why do you try so hard?"

"The fangirl love that you have, Mikasa, is what I have for Levi." You smirked and got up.

"There is nothing to like about with that shorty." You glanced at the enraged black-haired. Her features were so different from the anime. She just seems more enjoyable this way.

Get ready to face the fandom now. You mentally giggled and then sweatdropped. Your pondering suddenly drifted and you thought back, that night…

"…it was you…wasn't it?" You struggled to speak. You clasped your hand around Levi's even more tightly.

"Yes. Yes it was me…that was me. You stupid brat, why did you go and do that for?!" You were quiet as you listened to Levi's fury. You finally got the answer, but seemingly you thought it was stupid now of you to be waiting for such a simple question and answer. It wasn't something that significant to be remembered before you die. "Why did you jump off on your own? Why did you go without my permission?!" He shouted but from his voice you could tell he was crying. Levi was actually crying. Too bad you couldn't see it. I am stupid.

I didn't want you to through that painful memory again because of me. You wanted to say to him.

Why…why am I caring so much for a fucking fake pixel shit. Damn you stupid virtual world, making these feelings so fucking real.

"Cheshire!...Ches…hire…" The sound of his calls was starting to float in and out.

"I-I feel tired…" You whispered but tried your best to be loud. You saw Levi's lips part open but close again as if he was going to say something.

"Go to sleep you piece of shit." He said in the end. The raven-haired features became gentle and you saw the rare smile he gave. The softness that contrasted so far from his usual distressed frown. "Goodbye…I'll see you…w-when you wake up..." He stuttered a bit and a lone tear descended from his cheeks onto yours, as the blur of your vision finally took over your control.

You made an attempt to open your weary eyes and take a last look at Levi's face, but you couldn't. No matter how many times you tried, darkness was the only thing that surrounded you. Soon enough, the feeling of Levi's hand disappeared and you knew it was over. Something that you didn't want to experience. It has been fun. A small smile grew on your face.

"Bang!" The tremendous pain woke you up. You opened your eyes and stared at the ceiling. It seemed somewhat familiar and you soon realised that it was your own room. You picked yourself off the cold surface and looked around. Your whole body ached; you didn't know why but your face was damp and as you reached up to touch your cheeks, it felt like tears. Why was I crying? Your mind was in a complete mess and isn't able to register any memories. You saw the calendar that was hanging against your wall above your desk; you moved towards your desk and leaned in. After two more weeks a date that was circled in blue marker with two words that read: 'Start school'. You groaned at the thought of returning to that prison and managed to throw yourself on your bed but worse of all, your body had no intention to heal your achiness.

You flipped open your phone that was hidden beneath your pillow and scrolled through your contact list – finding Naomi's number.

"Ring! Ring!...Ring! Ring!..." Then the call dropped.

Funny, no one is picking up, she usually has her phone with her 24/7. You eventually gave up and an immediate flash of a raven-haired face appeared in your mind. Levi? You laughed and thought how addicted to Attack on Titan you must have been to have Levi's face come in to sight, but at that moment another sudden image of Levi's depressing face with tears that rolled down his cheeks popped into your head. Then it vanished again. What is going on. You thought your eyes must be tired and you needed rest. You changed into your pajamas out of your casual t-shirt and sweatpants combination. You pushed your phone off your bed that fell onto the extra fluffy mat and you enjoyed the comfort of the soft covers.

"What's this?" You heard someone say. You peeked open an eye and saw Levi hovering above you in his usual stoic frown that doesn't seem to bother you anymore.

"Hm?" You mumbled.

"Cheshire, you don't just sleep on the floor." He clicked his tongue.

"Agh, Levi, let it be." You muttered, resulting you being held by the waist with his soft hands and thrown across his shoulder. "Levi! Put me down!" You half-giggle and pout.

"Welcome back, Cheshire." He laughed.

"Good to be back." You replied.
