First Day In Hiroshima!

The past three days went by quickly. After school Kagome and Botan would practice at the training grounds of the School For The Gifted. Tonight was the last night of their training before their flight in the morning. It was currently six-thirty and Kagome and Botan were both taking a break after training for two hours.

"Hey Botan can we talk for a moment?"

"Yeah sure Kagome, what's up?"

"Listen it's been a few days since Naraku attacked us and I just wanted to talk to you about it."

"Oh."

"Inuyasha told me that you blamed yourself for what happened to me, and I didn't want you to think that way. You didn't-"

"You don't have to be nice to me Kagome. We both know that if I had been paying attention then you wouldn't have gotten hurt like that. I couldn't do anything to help you."

"Botan you're my friend and friends protect each other. There was no way I was gonna let that sick twisted bastard hurt you."

A few stray tears trickled down Botan's face, she couldn't believe that she had such a wonderful friend in Kagome. She felt Kagome's arms wrap around her and she relaxed in her embrace. It took such a huge weight off her shoulders. It also eased her mind about what happened to Momiji.

"Thank you so much Kagome, it really means a lot to me. I'm so lucky to have you as a friend and as my leader. I promise I'll do my best and I wont let you down."

Kagome smiled. "I know you won't, and I don't feel like much of a leader. I'm not exactly sure how to be one. I have a lot to learn and a long way to go. So how about comrade or companion or partner even. My status is no different than yours."

"Kagome your the Legendary Priestess! You carry something so much more important.

"I'm just Kagome not anyone else. Bedsides I don't know the first thing about being the "Legendary Priestess" Everything up till now has been a fluke. Or dumb luck so to speak."

"I don't think that's it at all, you know a lot more than you realize. The way you took control of the situation and commanded us shows. It's your fighting spirit and the love you have for your family and friends that allows you to step up and take charge. You're not afraid to protect us, and I envy your strength. I only hope I'll be able to match that."

"Thank you Botan, it means a lot to hear you say that. Lets do our best in Hiroshima and lets take lots of pictures for Momiji to help cheer her up."

"Agreed! You've got a deal."

Miyo smiled as she watched her students encourage one another and strengthen their friendship. She was glad they were able to help and support one another. Their training was progressing quite nicely and she knew this experience would only make them stronger.

''Alright girls we've got a few more things to work on, then what do you say we call it a day."

"Right!" Both Kagome and Botan had a newly found determination and they were gonna give it their all. They practiced for another hour until Miyo decided they were done. She treated them to dinner and took them both home.

"Oh boy am I wore out." Kagome said as she stretched and yawned. "Training with Miyo sure can be rough."

There was a knock on her door and Sango popped her head in.

"Hey Kags you still awake?"

"Yeah I'm still up, what's up?"

"It's about this mission.."

"Okay what about it?"

"I don't want Kohaku and Souta to go, this could turn out to be very dangerous and Souta has already been through so much because of him. He's not a fighter, I mean sure Kohaku has been trying to train him but he's so gentle. The same goes for Kohaku, he's mastered his weapon but he's never dealt with anything like this. When we went to hunt down demons Kohaku would only be called in as a last resort to finish the demon off when it was already significantly wounded." Kagome looked at her sister for moment fully understanding how she felt.

"Sango I understand where your coming from."

"But?"

"It's just we have to take into consideration that Naraku might use that against us. He waited till I was out of the house and murdered Mom and Gramps. He almost succeeded in killing Souta as well." She said tearing up. "Sango I-I just can't risk that again, if we lose them then what? It's to horrible to think about." She said letting a few tears fall. Sango hugged her sister in a comforting embrace. She was also crying, remembering when she first heard about what happened to Sunako and Yasuo it broke her heart. With Souta no where to be found it didn't exactly help lighten the load. It was a fifty-fifty chance.

"I'm sorry Kagome I just don't know what to do, I don't want to lose anyone else!" Kagome hugged her sister tightly. This was the first time she'd seen Sango crying like this. For so long Sango was the strong one, she never had the chance to heal her heart.

Their conversation hadn't exactly been private, the door was cracked just enough for their words to travel to the ears of a certain monk and silver haired Hanyou. The two of them quietly stood up and headed back down stairs. They sat at the dining room table contemplating their next move.

"We've got to do something, we can't let things continue as they have been."

"What are you yelling at me for? I already know that."

"I just hate seeing them like that, they don't deserve it."

"I agree completely, but with that bastard running around and hiding in the shadows who knows what he's up to."

"What I wanna know is how Naraku knew who Kagome was. I mean other than the fact that she somewhat resembles Lady Kikyo."

"I'm not sure, but I do know we ain't getting no where sitting on our asses."

"Let's get some rest, we gotta big day ahead of us tomorrow and I get the feeling you haven't packed yet." Inuyasha gave Miroku a side ways glance and kept quiet. "I thought as much."

They both stood and headed towards their respective rooms, before Inuyasha entered his room he made sure to flip off Miroku. The next morning everyone woke with a start due to a surprised scream from Kagome. Everyone rushed to see what happened.

"Ouch! That really hurt." Kagome said rubbing her bottom. She looked up to see the others standing in her door way. "Hey guys, what's up?"

They all looked dumbfounded. They thought she was in trouble.

"We rushed in here for nothing."

"What do you mean?"

"We thought you were in danger." Kagome looked at them clueless.

"Sis we heard you scream so naturally we assumed you were hurt."

"Whoops! Sorry about that. I just fell outta bed is all."

"We can clearly see that wench."

"Gees Kagome how'd you fall outta bed anyway?" Sango asked helping her up.

"How should I know, I was sleeping."

"Gosh Kagome-Nee."

"Well since I woke everyone up , how about I make breakfast?"

They all cheered and headed downstairs. Since Kagome woke them up it was considered a fair trade. Souta and Kohaku went to play video games as Miroku watched them amused. Sango made four cups of coffee and two cups of orange juice. Inuyasha went to shower then pack for Hiroshima. Kagome had the entire house smelling delicious. Forty-five minutes later Kagome had the table set and breakfast was done.

"Alright guys breakfast is ready!" Souta and Kohaku ran to the table.

"Wow!" They yelled in unison. Everyone else showed up a few seconds later to see what the fuss was about. When they got to the table they were glad Kagome offered to cook. She made bacon, sausage, butter biscuits, grits, cheesy eggs and pancakes.

"Kagome this looks great!" Sango said biting into a biscuit.

"I must say Lady Kagome, you truly have a gift."

"Will you please stop calling me that Miroku! I'm just Kagome."

"You do know you can't exactly call her that in school."

"Of course I know that Sango, I'm not an idiot." He said rubbing the back of his head.

"Ok so start practicing then."

"Right now?"

"Yep it's easy. Ka-go-me." Sango encouraged him.

"Ka-ka..do I have to do this right now?"

"You're gonna need a lot of practice." Kagome said getting up to put away her dishes. "I'm going to go finish packing and getting ready."

It was currently five A.M., their flight didn't leave till six forty-five. So Kagome had plenty of time to pack and shower. She was still a bit nervous for this trip, sure she had talked to Inuyasha and he encouraged her to be strong. However she still didn't feel too confident about the situation. She had never seen Sango so hurt and full of worry.

'Poor Sango she's been holding everything in up till now. I never even noticed, I was too busy thinking about myself.'

"How selfish of me."

Kagome finished her shower and packed the things she believed to be necessary for the trip. She checked the time and it was five-thirty. The drive to the airport wouldn't take longer than forty minutes so they'd still have time to get their tickets and a few snacks before they boarded the plane. When she got downstairs Miyo and Momiji were waiting with the others.

"Good morning Kagome. How are you feeling dear?"

"Good Morning Miyo, Momiji. So far so good." Kagome stated as she drooped her luggage.

She walked over to Momiji and gave her a hug.

"I'm so glad that you're ok Momiji. How are you feeling?"

"Hi Kagome it's good to see you. I'm doing fine, I have an appointment with Bankotsu later today so I'm hoping for some good news. Maybe I'll be able to lend you guys a hand." She said frowning.

"What's wrong?"

"It's just I.. I wish I wasn't so useless. If I hadn't gotten injured I'd be able to..."

"Momiji you're not useless at all. You're an amazing priestess, with incredible skills. What happened that day wasn't your fault."

"I agree lady Momiji. You were excellent when you fought against Naraku. There was no way of telling that he would do something so sinister."

"Are you sure I didn't just screw things up?"

Botan hugged her sister for reassurance.

"We're sure Momiji, there isn't a person in this room who blames you for Naraku's cruelty."

Momiji smiled and hugger her sister as best she could. Happy that no one faulted her for the other day.

"Alright everyone lets get going, so you don't miss your flight." Miyo spoke up.

Everyone piled into Miyo's truck as best they could and they were on their way. They reached the airport around six-fifteen, they headed inside and were able to get past security without any problems thanks to Miyo. They grabbed a quick snack and waited for their flight to be called.

"Alright you guys lets take a group picture before you go."

"That's not a bad idea Momiji. I'll take it."

"I don't do pictures." Inuyasha stated stubbornly.

"I won't see you guys for months."

"Not my problem."

"Come on Inuyasha just one picture isn't gonna kill you." Kagome stated.

"Besides the poor girl's gonna be without her sister for a while. Why not let her remember this moment."

"Wow I didn't know you were so selfish Inuyasha."

"Yeah tell me about it, the poor girls tearing up."

"Jerk."

"Alright fine, fine everybody shut up already."

Kohaku and Souta high fived while Miroku and the others smiled.

"That's so nice of you Inuyasha."

"Yeah sure, whatever." He said crossing his arms as the others crowded around him.

"Miyo what about you?"

"Don't worry Kagome, I'm more than happy to take a picture with just the eight of you." She said smiling. "Alright everyone smile on three. One, two, three!" Miyo snapped the photo and was satisfied with it's results.

"Will all passengers boarding flight four thirteen please report to gate three. I report, will all passengers boarding flight four thirteen please report to gate three."

"Well that's us, I guess we'll see you later." Kagome said hugging Miyo.

"Please be careful dear."

"I will."

Momiji hugged her sister tightly already missing her. She then turned to Kagome and hugged her.

"Please take care of Botan while your gone." She said tearing up.

"I will Momiji, I promise." Kagome said hugging her tighter.

"Promise me you'll take care of Momiji for me?" Botan said in a shaky voice as she hugged Miyo.

"You have my word dear. Take care of yourself."

"Final call for flight four thirteen. Will all passengers please report to gate three, thank you."

"You'd better get going. Please take care of each other."

Miyo and Momiji watched as the others walked through the gate and disappeared from view.

"Come along dear, lets get back and get some rest before your appointment."

Miyo had gotten everyone first class tickets, they would be served a full breakfast or lunch. Along with snacks, drinks, a complimentary travel bag. The seats were leather and they reclined. So they were pretty comfortable. Souta and Kohaku had the seats on the left, while Kagome, Botan and Sango sat in the middle. Which left Miroku and Inuyasha to the right.

"So girls what should we do first?"

"I wanna do a little sight seeing when we get there. Since I've never been, and plus it'll help us get our barring's." Kagome stated.

"I wanna hit some of the shopping malls, and find a place to train."

"How about you Botan?"

"Hmm..."

"Well?" Kagome and Sango both asked eagerly awaiting her answer.

"I wanna meet boys and go to as many restaurants as possible."

"We also have to visit to the beach."

"Hell yeah!"

The girls made a list of all the places they wanted to visit, they also made a list of souvenirs to bring Miyo and Momiji. Spirited Away was the current movie that was playing. Momiji fell asleep about ten minutes in, Chihiro's parents had just turned into pigs.

"Chihiro where are you going? You can't just abandon your parents."

"Um Sango, I don't think she can hear you."

"Well she can't just run off and leave, things never happen that easy. See there's a huge ass river there now."

"Yes well."

"Look now she's starting to disappear."

Sango was really into the movie, all Kagome could do was laugh at her sister. She was happy that Sango was in a better mood than she was last night.

"I don't trust that boy Haku, although he did help her get away."

'Maybe we should have a movie night when we get back home.'

"Don't stand up, the stairs aren't stable." Sango yelled as the step broke under Chihiro's weight and she fell into a sprint. "You never trust rickety old stair ways."

'I get the feeling Sango would enjoy that.'

Kagome turned her eyes back to the screen and continued watching. Laughing every now and then from Sango's commentary. Sango was sleep by the time the second movie started. Kiki's Deliivery Service was now playing on the screen. Kiki had just left for her year of training when Kagome started to get sleepy. She looked to her left and saw Souta and Kohaku chatting away with excitement. She looked to her right and saw that Inuyasha and Miroku were asleep as well.

'They must of dosed off during the credits of Spirited away. We've still got a good two hours left and I doubt those two are going to sleep any time soon.' She thought as she watched her brothers.

"Hey guys." She said sleepily. "Try not to disturb the other passengers alright." She said gently smiling.

"We wont." They said in unison.

"Alright then, Kohaku your in charge. I'm gong to get some rest." She said yawning.

"You can count on me Kagome-nee. You just get some rest." Kohaku stated happily. She nodded with half open eyes and drifted off to sleep.

"Would you two like a snack and something to drink?" One of the flight attendants asked.

"Would we?" Souta exclaimed

"Shh! Do you want Kagome-Nee and Sango-Nee to kill us?" Kohaku said making sure they hadn't disturbed anyone.

"Oh yeah, my bad bro."

"It's cool Sou, just try to calm down a bit. Ma'am we'll have two packs of cookies and two juices please"

"Certainly young man." She handed them their snacks and walked away to service the other passengers.

"Sou what do you say we do a bit more training when we get settled in. Looks like we're gonna be here for a while, and I'm tired of being treated like a delicate child. Our sisters are always fighting and putting themselves in danger." Kohaku said growing more serious.

"I hear you Haku, but I'm still not ready to show Kagome or Sango my weapon just yet. I feel like they'll freak out and tell me I'm in over my head. The truth is they'd be completely right. I've never done anything like this before, but seeing them in so much danger and Kagome ending up in the hospital...I want to help. I want them to know that they can rely on me too."

"Yeah I know what you mean, I'm getting a little tired of the run away and hide so we protect ourselves routine. I was trained to be a demon slayer just like Sango was. Sure we have different levels of skill, but their efforts weren't wasted on me. You can vouch for that Sou."

"Its all that heartless jerks fault. If he never showed his ugly face then none of this would've happened. Our family wouldn't have to go through this. Inuyasha and the others included."

"Though in a way I'm grateful."

"HUH!?"

"Think about it Sou. If he hadn't shown his ugly face we'd have never found you guys again. When you, Kagome-nee, Mama Sunako and Grandpa Yasuo all moved, everything was so lonely and empty. I didn't think I'd see my family again. Neither did Sango, she cried alone in her room. Sou we're brothers we always have been, and thanks to Naraku we were reunited. Hell we gained an even bigger family because of him. Yet he's still trying to tear us apart, but there's no way we're gonna let that happen."

"Right, we're gonna protect our family and keep a smile on their faces no matter what." Souta and Kohaku fist bumped with a smile on their face and fire burning in their hearts. No longer would they sit back and do nothing.

'Hmm, I now how you feel. He's gonna get his without a doubt.' Inuyasha thought as he overheard their conversation.

There was still a good forty-five minutes left in the flight and most of gang was awake now. Botan got up to stretch her legs, while Sango went to chat with her brothers. Miroku was fixated to the movie that was currently playing, and Inuyasha was staring out the window. He was growing impatient with the lack of movement he was currently experiencing.

"How much longer until we can get off this got damn airplane."

"Calm down Inuyasha there's just under an hour left. What are you so agitated for?"

"I'm trapped on an airplane with little to no leg room and your asking me why I'm agitated."

"You do know your aloud to get up and walk around." He stated not taking his eyes off the T.V screen. "Why don't you get up and walk around for a bit?"

"You can't seriously be watching that." Inuyasha stated as he watched a little girl run over an ocean made of giant fish and disappear into the night.

"What, this is a good movie. Not to mention adorable." Miroku defended.

"Your almost nineteen years old and your watching a cartoon."

"Hey that is an insult. There is a significant difference between anime and cartoons. The graphics, the action the characters, and not the mention the beauty of it all. Each anime has its own unique feature and story line."

"Whatever Miroku, I'm gonna do myself a favor and leave before you get to high up on your soap box."

"This is important business you can't leave now!" However his protest fell on death ears as Inuyasha continued to walk away.

"Excuse me sir, could you please lower your voice. Your disturbing the other passengers."

"Yeah, sorry about that."

"Thank you."

"What was that about?"

Miroku looked up to see Sango sitting next to him. Which made him nervous for some reason.

"N-nothing really, just Inuyasha being his usual stubborn uneducated self."

"Well that ugh certainly doesn't sound like nothing." She said glancing at the movie screen. "Oh I love this movie!" She quickly covered her mouth and looked around hoping no one heard her.

"Wait you watch anime?"

"Yeah who doesn't watch anime? This movie is sooo adorable." She said smiling which nearly gave Miroku a heart attack.

'Why am I so nervous around her all of a sudden.?' Miroku shook it off and continued to watch the movie with Sango.

"Yeah you show that wave whose queen of the streets."

Miroku chuckled as he watched Sango amused by her out burst.

'Well who'd of guessed.' He thought with a smile on his face.

"WAKE UP KAGOME!"

Kagome jolted out of her seat and tripped over her feet. She looked up at her brothers who were laughing hysterically.

"Sou that was great."

"What the heck Souta!" Kagome shouted after getting over her initial shock. "You nearly gave me a heart attack!"

"You ok Kagome?" Botan asked helping her to her feet. "You looked like you were gonna take off for a second there." She said giggling.

"What's the big idea anyway?"

"Well we landed five minutes ago and the flight attendant couldn't wake you up so I helped."

The flight attendant gave Kagome an apologetic look and slightly bowed her head.

"I see."

"Can we get a move on already?"

"What's your problem?"

"Everyone's standing around wasting time, and your putting on a circus act."

"What! I did no such thing. Souta nearly gave me a heart attack."

"Whatever wench, can we go now." He said storming off the plane.

"We're really sorry for the commotion."

They walked over to baggage claim to see an irritated Inuyasha impatiently waiting for them. He had already grabbed their luggage and was now standing there impatiently tapping his foot.

"Took you guys long enough."

"We had too apologize for your rude behavior."

"How'd you know which bags were ours?"

"Because I took the time to memorize every bit of stitching. Because your scents on them ya stupid girl!"

"What is your deal all of a sudden. Did I do something to make you angry?"

"Just the sight of you makes me angry ya stupid girl."

"Well please allow me to remove myself from the picture. Your such a JERK!"

Kagome said grabbing her bag and walking away.

"Wow that was pretty mean." Botan said running to catch up to Kagome.

"Wait for me Botan! You're a real piece of shit, you know that."

"Wow the days barely begun and you already managed to piss off all three of em." Kohaku simply stated.

"That's rough buddy. Whelp good luck!"

"Sou I'll race ya to the exit."

"Loser buys the other one lunch?"

"Your on!"

Miroku watched the two boys with an amused look which suddenly turned into a serious one.

"So it's about that time again huh?"

"What are you talking about monk?"

"I've been your roommate for some time now. I think you know exactly what I'm talking about Inuyasha."

"That's what I thought. Tell me something Inuyasha, does Kagome know about.."

"Why the hell would she."

"My point exactly, she doesn't have a clue about what's going on. I'm used to your short temper and hotheadedness the girls are not."

"I didn't ask for your .."

"She's not Kikyo."

"I know that already!"

"Do you!"

"You owe them an apology, especially Kagome. Now I wont say anything, but it might just help if you talked about it."

"Fat chance."

"You're so stubborn." Miroku said before walking off towards the exit.

Inuyasha cursed under his breath and bald his fist before heading towards the rest of the group. He never really did trust anyone with that information. He was barely able to trust Miroku in the beginning.

'Kikyo what am I supposed to do?'

Miyo had paid for a rental car in advance for them so that way they could just head straight for the beach house. The house was beautiful, on the outside you could see a Fully furnished balcony and a ladder leading to the roof. Once inside they were mesmerized, the first floor had a full chefs kitchen, with a breakfast counter. There was full dining room, which connected to the living room that had a couch, love seat, one rocking chair and two bean bag chairs. Down the hall was a full bathroom and the first bedroom. It had two twin beds a pillow bed and a bean bag chair.

"We'll take this room." Souta and Kohaku said in unison.

As they headed up to the second floor they noticed three rooms, the first room was a closet which had all the necessities for your bathroom. Such as towels, tissue, rags, shower gel, soap, among other things.

"Miyo really plans ahead." Kagome stated surprised while everyone nodded in agreement.

The second door was the bathroom, it had a walk in shower with a frameless sliding door. The toilet seat next to counter with a built in sink a medicine cabinet and a full length mirror. The last room was the bedroom, it had two beds a full size dresser and a flat screen T.V.

"Inuyasha and I will take this room since its a bit more convenient. Are there any objections Inuyasha?"

"Whatever." He stated putting his stuff down and lying on one the beds with his back facing the group.

"Don't you wanna see the rest of the house?"

Inuyasha didn't answer, he just lay there ignoring them.

"Why don't we give Inuyasha some space for now." Miroku stated as they headed up to the third floor.

Once there they saw two doors, they walked to the one on the right first. Once they opened the door they froze.

"No freaking way!"

"Holy shit!"

"Am I glad we got this room!"

The girls had the master bedroom, it had a King sized canopy bed with silk curtains on each side. It also had a built in fire place with a flat screen T.V above it. It had two bean bag chairs, a love seat, a full sized dresser with a mirror, a computer desk and a furnished balcony. It also came with a walk in closet big enough for them to each have separate sides.

"I love this closet!" Botan squealed.

Kagome noticed a door in the back end of the closet and opened it.

"Holy freaking crap!" the rest of the gang caught up to her and couldn't believe their eyes.

"No freaking way!" Sango said as they walked into the master bathroom.

It had luxury bathtub, with a curved corner sliding door shower enclosure. It had a separate room for the toilet and double vanity sink. The girls definitely had the better choice in rooms.

"Cool there's a two way entrance." Souta said peaking his way in from the hallway door.

"Well why don't we all get settled and then do a little shopping?"

"Can we get something to eat while were out? The snacks on the plane didn't do us much justice."

"I doubt any snacks would do the two of you justice." Kagome knowingly stated.

"Now go put your things up so we can head out."

The two boys took off towards their room while the group stared in disbelief.

"Where do they get all that energy?" Botan asked

"The question is where do they store it? Did they even sleep on the plane?"

"I highly doubt it, they were still up when I dosed off. That was about eight this morning."

"And there still awake? I'd be out right about now." Miroku stated in disbelief.

It took them about an hour to get settled in, and it was only twelve in the afternoon. Kagome had called Miyo to let her and Momiji know they made it safely to their destination. She had suggested that they eat in the backyard, and said that there was a secret lying in plain sight. Momiji was currently having x-rays done on her arm so they could determine how much longer it would take to heal.

"Why don't we stop at the schools so we can get our schedules for next week?" Sango stated

"Good idea, it'll be exciting going to a normal school for once." Botan said happily.

"It's definitely going to be a different change in pace. I mean yeah we had normal classes but the Spiritual Academy has a completely different set up."

"I know what you mean Kagome training to become a priestess isn't really all that easy. Four out of five days we'd spend balancing between priestess training and regular classes. On the last day we'd practice focusing on our spiritual energy and training with other students. It was hard trying to balance between the two."

"Wow that sounds rough you guys."

"You have no idea Sango. Whelp how about we get going, I'm kinda looking forward to this." Kagome stated walking past them.

She walked downstairs and hollered to Miroku and Inuyasha that they were ready to go. She couldn't really face Inuyasha right now. She didn't understand why he was so mad at her. They were getting along just fine before the trip.

"Sorry we took so long, Inuyasha was being a real pain."

"Whatever can we just go." Ha said getting in the back seat of the car.

They all got in and stopped at the schools first so they could get their schedules and school supplies. Their visit went pretty smoothly, the president and student council were pretty welcoming and easy going. They all had three out seven classes as a group. Kagome had three classes with just her and Inuyasha, one with Miroku, and the last two with her, Botan and Sango. Souta and Kohaku had all of their classes together.

"Sweet our classes are pretty even."

"I know I'm supper excited Sango. This will be my first time in a normal school, I'm excited to see what the experience will be like. How about you Kagome?"

Botan's question had gone unanswered, when the group turned around to see what was up. The sight that greeted them caught them off guard. Kagome was staring down at her class schedule in one hand with her other hand over her mouth.

"Kags.. you ok?"

Kagome looked up at her sister and tried her best to smile.

"Yeah, I-I'm fine I was just thinking." She said as her voice trailed off.

"Thinking about what?" Sango asked closing the distance between them. Concern lacing her features.

"I-It's nothing really I just suddenly remembered that mom said she transfer me to a regular school for my senor year. I was so excited when she told me that it motivated me to train and work even harder. I would always imagine her dropping me off in front of school and surprising you and my friends. It was such a silly thing to imagine, but I couldn't help it." She said as her eyes began to water.

"Kags I.."

"Thinking back on it I wanted so badly to go to a normal high school if anything. Imagining how things would turn out seemed so easy then."

"Sis your crying."

"It's not so easy to imagine anymore because mom... mom isn't here anymore." Sango pulled her sister into a hug. "She wont be there to drop me off anymore and tell me to have a good day and to try my best. She wont be there to greet me with a smile and ask me how my first day was. She won't.. I can't."

"I'm so sorry Kagome." Sango said hearing her own voice crack as her own tears cascaded down her face.

"I can't see her anymore Sango! Sh...she's not coming back!"

Souta stood there watching his sister as tears streamed down his face. he felt a hand on his shoulder and he turned to look at his brother.

"Haku I.."

Kohaku shook his head. He bald his fist as his eyes watered.

"It's ok Sou, You don't have to hold it in anymore." He said pulling him into a hug.

"Mom.." Souta said barely in a whisper. "Mommy!" He cried out as his brother hugged him tighter.

Kohaku knew his brother had forced himself to be strong and happy for all their sakes. Just as much as Kagome had, she never really had the time to heal her heart and be consoled. She's been fighting and constantly training because of that monster named Naraku. He caused his family pain and dared to laugh in their faces. He's enjoyed every bit of agony that he's caused them. Kohaku balled his fist.

Kohaku felt a clawed had rub the top of his head, He looked up at Inuyasha but he was facing the other way. He silently thanked him and turned back towards his sisters.

"I'm sorry Kagome-nee."

Welp guys that it for this chapter again I'm sorry for it being posted after so long. I've been so busy with my personal life that I just stopped writing for a while. I hope this chapter turned out alright it took me a while to proof read and go back through and correct it. Hopefully there aren't too many errors and if so I apologize. Writing this chapter brought me to tears towards the end because of how hurt they are. I know I didn't introduce my new character yet. The time wasn't right so just bare with me. I hope you guys haven't gone blind to my story. I'll make sure not to let it float so far out into the cosmos. Welp let me know what you guys think and I'll see in the next chapter.

CrimsonEyedLover: Yes! It's finally finished!

San: Did you have to make it a tear jerker?

Kags: Yea seriously, my eyes are still puffy

CrimsonEyedLover: I'm sorry you guys

Inu: Your still a psychotic bitch

CrimsonEyedLover: Kagome would you do the honors?

Kags: Sit!

Mir: When will you learn to keep quiet

San: Your one to talk, you still owe Crimson an apology

Mir: Hardly

Kags: now who's being immature

Mir: First off I did say sorry. If she wasn't a deranged psycho path chasing me with a chainsaw none of this would've happened.

Kags: It was your fault in the first place

Mir: She need's to be in a mental hospital

CrimsonEyedLover: ...

San: Ok that enough, you and Inuyasha owe her for destroying the studio and making her pay for all the damages.

CrimsonEyedLover: Your the ones who said you didn't have a problem with the way I am. (Looks at them coldly as her eyes darken) You guy's are a shitty friends. (Walks away)

Kags: Was that

San: Yeah, her split personality

Mir: She seemed

Kags: Dark?
