Oh-, there's finally Toothcup.

Hiccup wheezed as he fell suddenly to the floor; he had become tangled up in the bedsheets whilst he slept and had fallen over the edge of the bed,

There was no sign of life in the room apart from Hiccup's frantic breathing as he struggled to free himself from the cloth that had him trapped.

Panicking, Hiccup called out for Toothless, in uncertainty he groped around the floorboards in the pitch black for his lost companion.

"Toothless? Are you messing with me? It's not fucking funny!" Hiccup hissed and rose to his feet, rubbing his shin that was aching in fumbled around the tabletop next to the bed until his hand closed around the holster that held his machete, he drew it hastily, not bothering with the whole business of strapping it to his leg.

He stumbled to the door, only stopping to make sure that Toothless' really was gone; in doing so he noticed that the male's bow was still in the room; the events were getting stranger and more disconcerting by the minute.

Toothless never went anywhere without a weapon...

Breathing in shakily, Hiccup slowly opened the door; the knife handle firm in his grip as he made his way out onto the freezing landing.

"Toothless?" He called out again, worry starting to eat away at his empty stomach.

Still there was no reply.

Hiccup crept over to the stairwell and peered down into the darkness below; there was no light at all, the moon blocked out by planks of wood nailed hap-hazardly across the windows.

Swallowing thickly and gathering all his wits about him, Hiccup held onto the railing and made his way down the stairs as quickly and quietly as he could.

Little sounds making him jump as he rounded the corned into a corridor.

'Please Toothless' he closed his eyes and took a moment to breathe before jogging down the unfamiliar hallway.

Hiccup tensed as he heard voices nearby,

He recognised suddenly where he was; the voices were coming from inside the room that Hiccup realised was the main office where the Boss kept himself shut away.

"What's happening?" He muttered to himself lowly, edging closer to the door in curiosity.

The voices grew louder as he neared the door.

It was open just a crack, a thin slither of yellow light to shining into the corridor.

Hiccup's breathing increased as he levelled his eye with the gap, he could see three figures inside, there could have been more, he was unsure.

One was the Boss, seated behind his desk, the other was Snotlout, and the third... Hiccup couldn't quite make him out.

"You've failed me again" the Boss snarled and rose from his seat, slamming his hand down on the table, "I should just throw you out onto the streets, you can't even keep that scum out of trouble never mind yourself" he walked around and slapped the figure seated in front of his desk across the face with a crack that made Hiccup wince.

"Snotlout heard you"

The pug-faced man standing nearby broadened his chest, smugness written clearly across his face.

"You were messing about in Supplies again" a frightening grin on his ageing face, "you're going to regret it, right now. You're leaving and you're taking him with you; I want you gone"

"No!"

The figure cried out, his voice cracking sharply.

It was Toothless; Toothless was in there.

Hiccup recoiled from the door and crashed into the wall,

"What was that?!" Snotlout grunted and began to walk towards the door,

"Don't concern yourself" the Boss snapped, focusing his attention back on Toothless.

"I've raised you boy, fed you, kept you clean and even trained you for battle so that when the time came you would live; you've let me down for the last time, you're a burden on us all, now leave, and take him with you!" He kicked the chair leg violently sending it crashing to the floor along with Toothless.

Hiccup bit his lip but resisted running in to aid his friend, it would only make matters worse.

"Go!"

Toothless didn't need telling twice, he scrambled to his feet and ran for the door; Hiccup realised all-too late that he should have long-since left.

He tried to run but his feet were glued to the floor...

Toothless ran through the door and saw Hiccup standing there terrified, pressed against the wall.

"You!" He hissed, lunging for the man, pushing and dragging him down the corridor and further into the vastness of the seemingly empty building.

"I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry! Whatever I did, I'm sorry!" Hiccup tried to cover his head and chest at the same time as he cowered against the wall Toothless had him pushed against.

"We're both going to die and it's all your fault!" He brought back his fist, Hiccup cried out as he swung it-... The fist connected with the wall a little way away from Hiccup's face.

"I'm not going to hit you, fucking hell!" Toothless shook from the effort of keeping his anger contained, "I had it coming for a while, I just don't understand why he's dragging you into it"

Hiccup's eyes were wide with terror, the whites clearly visible in the dark.

He didn't speak.

"I'm sorry Hic, I've failed you, I was meant to keep you safe," he shuddered, "instead I've just sent you to your death"

"No-" Hiccup breathed, "no you haven't" he didn't know what to do, so he just remained leaning against the wall, his palms pressed against the cool paint underneath his hands.

Toothless then did something very unexpected and brought down his now-bleeding fist down to run his fingers across Hiccup's jaw.

"I just wish I could have done this under different circumstances"

Before Hiccup could question what he meant, his breath hitched in his throat as Toothless brutally pushed his lips on Hiccup's; Hiccup grunted in pain as his hair was gathered in a strong hand and his head pushed forcefully to the side.

The sheer power Toothless possessed was frightening and more than a little un-nerving, but Hiccup let it happen; he didn't fight.

The kiss was crushing, all feelings and thoughts left Hiccup's mind until he found a firm hand pressed against his chest, he reached down to push at it half-heartedly, instead focusing on breathing steadily through his nose.

He knew he was beat and stayed as still as possible to avoid angering Toothless any further.

The kiss was over after a painfully long time. Toothless pulled away, his eyes cast low.

"I always wanted to do that" he wiped his mouth on the back of his hand; Hiccup cowered against the wall, not sure whether to move or say anything, instead opting to stare in wide-eyed horror into empty space.

"You okay?" Toothless mumbled, reaching out to touch Hiccup's cheek, hurt clear on his face; Hiccup flinched at the touch.

What the fuck had just happened? why had it happened?!

He covered his eyes with his hands and focused on breathing, his anxiety issues kicking in full-force.

"Hiccup?"

"Stay away from me!" Hiccup yelled and hurtled past the dark haired male, charging off into the corridor to get back to the room.

"Fuck" toothless swore gently under his breath, he'd really messed it up.

He wanted to chase after Hiccup, but he knew the situation was delicate; he had to get out of the building and take Hiccup with him that night, the Boss had made those instructions very clear and the consequences if he failed to follow them through were not worth leaving Hiccup alone for a while to gather his thoughts.

Nervously, Toothless raised a hand to fondle his neck gently, somehow the thought of 'it's either you or your throat' didn't sound appeasing to him.

He knew he had to get them both out, but Hiccup was terrified of him now.

"I'm so sorry" he growled angrily as tears prickled his eyes, he'd really fucked it up.

Hiccup was stumbling down the corridor, his mind flooded with thoughts, his emotions were running riot and he couldn't breathe.

'Why would he?' He tried to process the situation, it was completely over his head, he had never been kissed in his life; okay, that's a lie, he had been kissed once at his high school prom night, but he knew she wasn't being serious.

He brought his hand up to brush his fingertips across his lips, a sick part of him had enjoyed it, the surge of power overwhelmed him and fed some sort of primeval urge inside of him. He had always been an iconoclastic character.

The second part of him was terrified, it had hurt!

He ran his tongue over his bottom lip nervously, he knew that they had to leave, or the Boss would take care of them both in a way that he knew would be less than friendly.

The last part of him wanted to do it all again, and that the was the part that scared him the most.

I'm sorry this is so overdue! I have been very caught up in personal life, not to mention suffering both an art block and then a writing block! These won't be released as often as I'd originally hoped! And I'm sorry this chapter is such a bore!

Thanks to all those who reviewed! This was so hard to write for some reason, I just couldn't find the words to finish this chapter the way I wanted to,

I wanted to portray Toothless as this figure of power, but Hiccup isn't entirely powerless, he can pack a pretty good punch too (and no hints or anything but he's gonna be pushed over the edge pretty soon)

Hope you enjoyed! See you next chapter ~ Watermelon-Dragon-Chibi
