Naruto sprinted off to the next clearing and put his hands together in his favourite hand sign, the cross. "Kage Bunshin no Jutsu"

The clearing was filled with Naruto clones. "Guys, you know what to do! Let's give that scarecrow a shock!"

"YEAH" all the clones cried out in a single tone. Immediately all the clones split into groups and ran off

Meanwhile Kakashi was starting to get bored. The academy reports were proving to be more and more worthless, at least for Naruto. They had mentioned that he was an impulsive child who had absolutely no patience. He was expecting someone to attack him but it seems no one wanted to go first. "Fine, let's bait them"

Sasuke was watching the whole thing very seriously. He had dug up some info on their jounin and found out that he was one of the most powerful shinobi in the force. That had made his day, if he had such a strong sensei, he would grow in leaps and bounds. But now, he had this test to pass if he wanted all that training.

As Sasuke stood, he saw that Kakashi had an opening in his stance. His training sent him on an autopilot as he threw shuriken, practice served perfect as the stars hit the elite shinobi but left him in surprise when a cloud of smoke burst up and left a log with his stars sticking on them.

"Damn, I lost my cover, gotta scram" Sasuke thought as he made a dash from his hiding space. He made it only half way before his sensei caught up to him.

"Since none of you want to come to your sensei, I thought I would come to you."

However before he could do anything, he had to dodge a giant teddy bear that seemed to come his way and then a fridge, and a gate, and an apple which seemed too shiny to be true and a whole lot of assorted items. Annoyed he looked around to see Naruto standing with a bunch of clones who were transforming into the above said stuff.

Kakashi quickly closed the gap between them and started dodging the items which kept on growing more and more bizarre, he was pretty sure the last one was a set of women's underwear. Hell he even spotted an Icha icha, when he momentarily had to stop and see whether his precious was fine.

During the skirmish with Naruto, Kakashi kept an eye on the uchiha as well. He didn't need surprises from the class topper. Or so he thought. When Kakashi had took off his eye for a second to look for his precious, Sasuke had been quickly grabbed by a set of four to five clones who swiftly dragged him down and replaced him with a clone who was instructed to wear the same furious expression as the last uchiha.

The said ninja was now kicking and trying to bite the hell out of the mob of the dead last. The main clone held his hand to his head and started thinking hard.

"Boss, emergency. Uchiha struggling hard. Bit two clones and kicked one, last three are in scuffle with him. Help Needed"

He immediately heard a reply in his head. "Hold the fort for a second captain, I am coming myself" Sasuke was just done with another clone, the boss must have received his memories too, but with all the memories of the transformed clones who were in squad delta, he wasn't sure if it was registered.

Kakashi wasn't sure whether he had to laugh or feel annoyed. He had just been attacked by a huge Trojan bunny...He didn't even know such a thing existed. Irate, he put a kunai through the bunny and was immediately enveloped in a huge cloud. Even bigger than that formed by dispelling clones. When he inhaled, he knew it was chalk powder. Dashing out of the cloud he was met by a headless samurai on a horse. Kakashi ran up to it and was about to chop it back to chakra when he saw the horse grin.

"Shit, something's wrong." He couldn't jump back, the cloud was still there, so he cart wheeled to the side only to understand that the grin was a dud. The clone had nothing with him and the headless samurai just charged again at him. Dispelling it, he was immediately met by the infamous Harem no Jutsu. That was just too much for the poor jounin.

Almost.

But he (very bravely and with heavy determination) held back a nose bleed and threw a couple of kunai to dispel them. Only to be met by a scream. It seemed the real Naruto was among them and had been hit.

"Shit" Kakashi thought as his eyes widened. The cut was pretty deep. Then his instincts kicked in. He was annoyed, but he hadn't thrown it with enough force to strike that hard. Eye smiling, he got closer to the hurt Naruto and kicked him in the gut.

To his horror it didn't dispel, but the kunai went deeper into the stomach of his to-be-genin.

"No way... Naruto...are you okay?" His only reply was the eyes of the clone bulging in pain and the clones around him all dispelling.

"Shit Shit shit shit shit...I can't kill my students...Shit Shit" As he got closer, he could see Naruto writhing in pain, there was no way that was fake, No Genin would have ever seen a real man writhing in pain so close to copy it so well.

As the alarmed elite ninja touched the boy, he said "Sensei...You are in position."

"Its fine Naruto nothing will happen to...What?"

Kakashi heard a sound that was familiar to a whistle and when he turned around he saw Narutos flying or rather dropping at him from the sky. The closest one shouted. "Prankster style: Aerial Bombardment"

He immediately started glowing and exploded within inches from the scarecrow shinobi. Anyone else might have been caught off guard but Kakashi performed a substitution with a nearby log and managed to escape. Barely. The explosion was a lot larger than a normal Bunshin Dabahuka. It was almost pumped up with too much chakra, which made sense considering who he was fighting with.

Kakashi didn't have any more time to marvel at the blonds' ingenuity as more clones were hurtling towards him and they were too close for any jutsu but substitution. There were a lot of them and they were close by. In a matter of seconds the entire clearing was blown to bits...literally.

Kakashi had dodged of into the woods but the flying clones were relentless. They were dropping from everywhere and they weren't giving him anytime. He could only dodge or substitute.

"How are his clones able to come after me even when I am moving?" He looked around in one of the brief intervals and almost lost his life because of that, but he got his answer further away there was a clone watching him and clutching his head as if talking to a walkie-talkie. But he didn't seem to be holding the above said instrument.

In reality that was a yin clone of Naruto who was passing on this information to the base launching stations scattered across the field. This went on for another minute before one of the launching stations were suddenly attacked by Kakashi. At the same time, the Kakashi who was being attacked was hit and dispelled. The special clone cursed as he sent a message to the Boss.

"Just like we thought, Kakashi figured out and has destroyed one of launching stations." He will clean us out soon without me to update the bases about his position. And I am too slow to cover that much space that fast. Most of my yang chakra is gone already."

His reply was brief "That's okay Dattebayo! Hold him of as much as possible"

That was the last thing the clone remembered before Kakashi punched him and turned him to chakra.

"That was actually something good, someone with lower reflexes and less experience would be toast. I wonder if he hit his teammates. This sure was reckless. Judging by the looks of it, I was being herded towards the west, so he must be east of here" Kakashi thought and left immediately.

At the same time, Naruto was pleading towards his teammates. "See guys, he is just too much for a genin. I mean he stopped something like that in less than ten minutes, that guy is too good. We can't hold up against him. I bet the bell is jus to divert us."

Sasuke was in no mood for reason, he had just seen the scope of devastation another genin who passed out with him, the dobe no lesser, had caused. He was seething.

"Shut up Naruto, I don't need your help, I will get the bells and I will pass."

Come on teme, this is copy ninja Kakashi, the only sharingan bearer outside the uchiha clan and a Hokage potential candidate. Don't be stupid."

This brought him to his senses. He too had heard of that yesterday. He didn't have a sharingan either.

"So how can you and Sakura actually help?" Arrogance was overridden by need and he caved in.

Naruto smirked and that instantly put them on the edge. This grin normally was followed by someone being humiliated by his pranks. "I was starting to think you wouldn't ask."

"You saw me bombarding him right, we will start with an extreme version of that." Naruto started explaining only to be met with a wide eyed Sasuke and Sakura.

"THERE'S AN EVEN EXTREME VERSION TO THAT?"

"Damnit people! Keep it down, from what I know the copy Ninja's got really sharp ears too. By the way, up to now my clones were exploding from the exploding shadow clone technique I hadn't used an explosive tags my clones left to get them from the other training ground where I laid them as traps. I know they got it with the last explosion group now. So now we will use all of them aand take out the entire training ground. Then.."

This time it was Sakura "Naruto, how can you be so cruel. What if Kakashi sensei is hurt?"

"Na, not a chance. I bet that old dog has some tricks to keep him alive" 'And he needs the wakeup call badly' the second part he kept to himself, though.

"After that I've got some emotional dirt on him too...We'll lay it down and when he is distracted, we'll get the bell. So what say people, wanna try?"

Sasuke spoke up. "But there is no guarantee he will put down his guard, especially after you blast the ground."

Naruto looked sullen. The teme had a point. But this time Sasuke smirked "so let's smooth up the edges a bit"

Kakashi was just amazed at the technique, he had destroyed the one special clone and the attack stopped for a bit, only to continue with even more intensity. In between all the dodging, the copy ninja managed to see yet another of those vaguely formed clones that were clutching their head.

'Oh, you've got more. This will be fun. But I can't get too sidetracked. My job is to fail the...I meant test the kids. I should take out the original soon." But the scarecrows monologue was cut short by having to dodge more flying Naruto's. This went on for another two minutes and he destroyed another of the clones launching station. Suddenly he could see a lot of clones blasting out into every corner of the field.

"Shit. That can't be good" To make matters worse, the one eaded his way had a lot of explosive tags stuck on his head. "No way, Naruto's gonna blow up the entire field" The realization hit the arch-Ninja.

"God, Sasuke and Sakura are still in here. Damn..I won't be able to save them!"

Starting the hiding in the earth technique Kakashi dug in as hard as he could. He could fell the tremors around him. When he resurfaced, what used to be a green field were now barren craters. Nothing was spared. He felt sick in the stomach. This reminded him eerily of the battle against the explosion corps of Iwa. Pitch in roasted bodies and anyone could pass it for World War battle field.

"Sasuke, Sakura what happened to them" His thoughts were interrupted when he felt the perpetrator trying to sneak up on him.

Kakashi was in no more mood for games. Lifting his headband, he glared at the Blond.

"Naruto Uzumaki, what have you done?" He was livid, if two kids had died because of this brat's arrogance and love for explosion there would be hell to pay.

"Che, you couldn't have died could you traitor?" Naruto face was the epitome of cold.

Kakashi furrowed his brows. Naruto snorted "Don't act as if I don't know you are my Father's student"
