Felicity climbs into a duct.
"Tight spaces suck." Felicity panted, shimmying her way the cold metal vent. She was trying to get her bearings when she looked down, and happened to see a hallway. Nodding, she kept along the path, hoping to get to an empty room with windows.
"Upside Felicity," She muttered. "All that big belly burger hasn't made escaping harder." She panted, the slick material of the dress sliding on the cold metal.
"Could be stuck in a freezer, on the island, or in a dungeon. Nope, stuck crawling through a vent, hoping that he doesn't go back to that room looking for me." She grunted, panting at the exterion. The mind control had done a doozy on her, making it harder for her to fight against it. But she won.
Felicity swallowed, closing her eyes as she came on another grate. She quickly looked down, seeing Barry sitting on the floor.
"Shit," she whispered. She had been going the wrong way.
John faced the building, spotting Sarah coming across the roof, Roy and Oliver approaching from either side on the ground.
"How are we looking?"
"Nothing on the roof." Sara stated, looking through the broken windows. "Could be a sub-level to this place."
Oliver nodded, drawing back his bow. "On my count." Roy drew, John loaded his pistol, and Sara readied the Canary call.
"NOW!"
Oliver and Roy burst through the garage door, John following in a side door. Sara dropped the Canary cry from the roof, herself following it.
Nothing.
Oliver loosened his grip, looking around. Nothing was there. No Tech, no Barry, and no Felicity.
"It's empty?"
"Could have a sub-level. It would explain the place but I don't understand." Sarah stated, looking around.
John touched his temple. Oliver looked at him. "John?"
"Lyla? Can you hear me?" John asked.
Silence came over the comms. Roy fired off an arrow, nearly hitting Sarah.
"Roy!"
Sarah stared at him, then began to laugh. Roy joined her. Oliver and John stared at them. "Where is he?" Oliver looked around. His eyes widened as John began to laugh too.
They turned to him. "A very happy un-birthday to me!" They sang at him, as Oliver knelt on the floor covering his ears as the screeching inside his head grew.
Holy S*** my dears. Sorry for the short chapter (I may add more later)
I'm so sorry to be a neglectful writer. My mind is just full of stories wanting to come out in fan fic, that and life has a funny way of getting ahead of me! The stories in my head: Legends of Tomorrow (AU): While fighting Savage in 1920 Egypt, Ray picks up a young woman who is deathly injured. After healing her, Rip has Gideon search history for her finding nothing. She is now in Ray's care as he is the one who brought her on board. Ray decides to set her up as his wife helping her adjust to modern life.
I know I talk about the fan fic stories my mind runs around with, so I figured I'd give you guys a treat after making you wait so long for this chapter.
Savage is interested in her, as she possesses the Eye of Horus, a sapphire that is said to hold power. The woman is also discovered to be Oliver's missing great-grandmother, Irene Theodora Queen.
Jurassic World: Owen Grady is visiting the National Museum of Prehistoric life in Washington DC to meet his sister, Margaret (Mara). Their relationship still is strained, but after the closure of Jurassic World, she and her mentor Dr. Grant endeavor to collect the samples from the lab on the island to be kept at the museum, which the INGEN board is happy to do in a permanent donation.
Mara is at the lab working late on a skeleton for an exhibit and is taken as a witness. Before they take the samples though, she sends them to the Triceratops samples, fooling them into taking them instead. The new boss finds out, and calls Owen telling him to get the right samples through Claire in order to get his sister back alive. The boss sends Claire a video of Mara and Calre's nephews sitting in cuffs next to a replica of the raptor holding area from the island. Owen has to decide to work for the company of death.
The Mummy: 2016, Grace O'Connell has been roped into a project by her older cousin, Michael Carnahan. It involves digitizing the entirety of the tombs in the Valley of the Kings, funded by a mysterious couple.
The digitizing goes well, until the scanners show a tunnel connecting one of the tombs to an undiscovered one. Thirsty for a find, Michael breaks down the seal finding a blackened tomb. Grace begins to get headaches, and they increase if she enters the tomb.
One of the archeologists reads a hieroglyphics on another tomb's wall, pertaining to life after death, waking the mummies in the tombs. As the one gets closer to Grace, her headache increasing, the Med-jai come in and destroy the camp. The mummy touches Grace, causing her to faint. The mummy then turns, and retreats into the catacombs of the Valley.
One scoops the unconscious Grace up, taking her back to their camp leading a whole new mummy to deal with.
