Extra Chapter (12): Shocking News

Naruto's P.O.V.

I was running fast, as fast as I could. I wouldn't be late! Not this time! I wouldn't be late! I run inside the huge building and went to the third floor. I run quickly towards the door and opened it loudly.

"I'm so sorry I'm late!" I yelled and tried to catch my breath.

"Naruto! This is the fifth time this month! How do you expect the songs to be recorded without you here!?" Sasuke lectured me. I sighed.

"I'm so glad you think I'm so important here." I said sarcastically and went to my keyboard. The others got prepared and we started.

It's been two years since I joined Hebi and my life just couldn't get better. I was successful, everyone acknowledged my talent and I had the boyfriend of my dreams. Everything's perfect for me and all of my friends. Gaara had his own famous boyfriend, Ino and Sai ended up being soulmates and Sakura met Sasori in one of the events I invited her to, one of the most well known stylists. It felt like a dream.

"Everyone, please come out for a second." we suddenly heard Kakashi from the microphone saying. Sasuke sighed in annoyance, but the rest of us got a bit worried. To call us out during recording must be because of something extremely great or awful.

"What's wrong, Kakashi?" Juugo asked him. Behind him I saw a very worried Iruka. That must not be good...

"Iruka happened to come across a magazine in a mini market." he told us with a serious voice.

"Wow, I can't believe it. This is awful, he saw a magazine, what a disaster." Sasuke said in a bored tone, annoyed. Kakashi glared at him.

"I would take this a bit more seriously, if I were you, since this is about you after all." he told him and showed him the magazine. I went beside him and took a peek. When I read the title of the article Kakashi wanted to show us I became paler than a ghost.

"What the fuck is the meaning of that?!" Sasuke yelled.

"What's this about, anyway?! Give it here!" Karin said and took the magazine. Her eyes widened when she took a look.

"Umm... Rumors want Sasuke and Naruto from Hebi to be in a relationship?" she read in disbelief.

"No way! Give it here!" Suigetsu exclaimed and took the magazine.

"You must be kidding me... How?!" I said, trying to think about what was going on.

"Seems like a photo did the thing. Turn the page, Suigetsu." Kakashi told us. Suigetsu turned the page and after swallowing difficultly, he gave us the magazine.

"I don't get it... We've never kissed in public." I said confused. Sasuke sighed. I arched my eyebrow.

"Sasuke?" I said suspiciously. He looked away.

"Spit it." Karin told him. He sighed again.

"You got drunk in an event." he told me. I tried to remember.

"Yeah, I think I remember that... So?" I asked him. He sighed for one more time.

"You... Probably don't remember everything." he told me and showed me the picture in the magazine. I facepalmed.

"I can't believe this... Anyway, I guess the truth is also the best excuse. I was drunk! That's it!" I told them as if I had solved an amazing problem.

"Thank you Mr. Obvious, why don't you read what they say?" Iruka told me. I took a look at the article.

"Don't they say that when you are drunk your true desires are revealed?"

"Well, we'll think of something. For now focus on your work." Kakashi told us. We managed to nod our heads and went back in the studio.

Later that day I got a call from Gaara.

"I'll be fine, Gaara. I won't let anyone take Sasuke away from me, not after all the things that happened to get him." I said determined. Gaara laughed.

"Ok, then. I trust you. If anything happens come staight to me, ok?" he told me.

"No need to tell me, you know I will. I gotta go now, talk to you later." I said.

"Ok, see ya." he said and we hung up. I walked out of my room and went to Sasuke's. I knocked the door and got in when I got permission.

"Good, now call your friend Gaara. I've been trying to contact Pain for a while now, but that bastard has turned off his phone!" she said and left. A few seconds later Suigetsu got inside, looking back to make sure Karin was gone.

"Well, now that went better than I thought." he said and scratched his head.

"I wanna die..." I muttered. He laughed and ruffled my hair.

"Aww... Come on, everyone needs to have sex now and then." he said, grinning. Oh, yeah, that helped.

"Suigetsu, that just makes him feel worse." Juugo said.

"It does?" he asked confused. Both me and Juugo facepalmed.

"Uh... No. Not really. Are you really ok?" I asked again. There was silence for a second.

"Well, how do I sound?" he said.

"Exactly. So, we'll talk later. Bye." he said and hung up. I stared at the phone. Then Sasuke got in.

"What happened?" he asked me.

"I think it will take quite a while for Gaara to walk normally again." I said and put my phone in my pocket.

"Oh. Let me guess. Pain?" he said. I nodded and he rolled his eyes. He sat on the couch and a went next to him. He turned on the TV and the first thing we saw was our picture kissing. He immediately turned it off. We both sighed.

"This is frustrating." I said and he agreed.

Later that day we found out that Kakashi had arranged an interview for the two of us.

"So, it's tomorrow in the afternoon? On a TV show?" I asked Sasuke who had got the information.

"Yup, the same we saw yesterday." he told me.

"Okay... Let's do this!" I said determined.

"Let's just hope everything is going to be ok." he said and sighed. I smiled at him.

"Hey, nothing's going to happen. You think I'll let something like this to get you away from me? After all this time? No freaking way. You are mine." I told him and hugged his hand. He looked at me and smiled.

"Heh... I guess you are right." he said and we went in his room.

The day had finally come and we were getting prepared to appear in the show.

"Remember, act naturally and relaxed. Don't let them make this a big issue." Kakashi told us and guided us to the studio. A few minutes later the show begun.

"Today we have two special guests here! Let's all welcome Hebi's Sasuke and Naruto!" the woman said. We smiled and greeted the people.

"So, guys. It's been a while since you gave an interview. Why's that? Did you have something to hide?" she asked us. Sasuke decided to answer.

"No, nothing like that. We just had a lot of work to do. We don't really like giving meaningless interviews when we could be at the studio recording new songs." he told her. Nice one!

"I see. Your fans must be really pleased with you. You always do your best to make new songs and albums. Also, I have noticed that some of your recent songs have to do with love and romance. Is there a specific reason for that?" she asked winking at us. Oh, God... Here we go.

"Hahaha, that's because Naruto came up with some weird melodies that weren't really our type of music. So, we thought that it would be nice to make a few different songs. I have to admit, though, it was hard creating the lyrics." Sasuke said and we all laughed.

"Well, you did a very good job, Sasuke. They felt so real when I heard them!" she said excited. He laughed.

"Hahaha, that's why they say I'm talented." he told her. We all laughed again. This far everything was going smoothly.

"Now, I have one more question for you guys. A few days ago this picture appeared in public. From the looks of it, it really is the two of you. What's the meaning of that?" she asked as. Man, those eyes of hers could see everything.

"That exactly was my reaction as well when Naruto did that. We were both a bit drunk, but he was even more drunk than me. And it happened." Sasuke said. The woman looked at me.

"Is it true, Naruto?" she asked me. I scratched my head.

"If Sasuke says so. To be honest, at first I thought it was photoshop, I didn't even know I had done that, he never told me. It really was a surprise." I said. She stared at me for a second.

"They say that when you are drunk you say and do the things you hide. Are you hiding something from us, Naruto?" she asked me. I tried to think of something.

"So, you mean you were thinking about Sasuke in that way?" she asked me excited. Fuck. I'm so stupid.

"But you kissed him." she said, smirking.

"I was drunk!" I said blushing. Sasuke was trying hard not to show his frustration.

"So, unconsciously, you like Sasuke in that way!" she said in the end as if she had won a competition. I fidgeted. Oh, fuck it.

"No. I actually know exactly what my feelings for Sasuke are. In the past I was in love with his image, but after meeting him, I fell really in love with him. "Well, I didn't say that we are in a relationship, just that I like you." I said looking down.

"Oh, of course. That's so much better! This issue could have ended today, but now we have to give even more interviews to say what my answer to your confession is, what are my thoughts about all these, what are the other's thoughts about all these and blah blah blah. Congratulations, Naruto!" he said and went to his room. The rest stared at me.

"I'm sorry..." I muttered. Karin sighed.

"It's ok, Naruto. I'm sure you were really nervous at that time that you couldn't think of something." she said and hugged me. Tears started falling from my eyes.

"I guess it's going to be better if it's known. You'll at least be more relaxed." Suigetsu said.

"Yeah, and more paparazzi will appear." Kakashi said. There was silence for a second.

"Well, whatever. We can't change what happened. We'll just move on from here. At least Naruto didn't mention that they were together for a while now." Karin said and patted my back.

"Yup, I suppose you did say it in a really good way. Good job, Naru." Suigetsu said and smiled at me. I wiped my tears and smiled.

"Thanks guys." I told them.

"You better go talk about this with Sasuke." Juugo told me. I nodded and went upstairs. I knocked Sasuke's door, but I didn't got permission.

"Sasuke? I-I'm coming in." I said and opened the door. When I got inside I saw Sasuke sitting on the bed with his head on his hands.

"Umm... I'm really sorry, Sasuke..." I started saying, but he stood up and hugged me.

"I'm so sorry, Naru... I made you cry." he said and tighten his grip. I hugged him back.

"It's ok. It's not your fault." I told him. He kissed my head then looked at me.

"Let's make the paparazzi think we start dating now." he told me with a smirk. I smiled and laughed.

"Sounds fun." I said and we kissed.

The following weeks me and Sasuke would go on dates in public while holding hands or being too close to each other. It didn't take long for the rumors to start and one day we had to go to another TV show.

"Well, let's be honest. Who could say no to such a cute guy? At first this whole commotion really annoyed me, but I guess it gave me something really good in the end. I'm really glad someone took us a photo when Mr. Drunkard kissed me." Sasuke said and ruffled my hair.

"Should I be happy or annoyed right now? I don't know." I said and everyone started laughing.

"Well, I hope you guys stay happy forever." the reporter told us. We thanked him and then he changed the subject. In the end everything ended peacefully.

"Should I tell Pain to say about our relationship to public, too?" Gaara asked me.

"Nope. Not if you don't want hundreds of paparazzi in front of your house." I told him and kept on playing on the computer.

"I didn't see anyone in the entrance." he said.

"I didn't mean here. The guards make sure there aren't many people in the entrance of this place. I meant my house." I told him. He stared at me for a bit.

"You mean... Your old house? Where your dad lives?" he asked me.

"Yup." I said. He was shocked at first. Then he laughed.

"Okay, tell me your dad's expression." he told me. I hung my head and sighed.

"You really don't wanna know." I told him.

"Hahahahahahaha!" he started laughing loudly. I chuckled and then started laughing as well. My dad's face was really priceless, but nevertheless scary. I'm really glad we could now laugh about all this. I guess it's going to be an amazing memory for all of us, after all.

So, this was the extra chapter! I hope you liked it. I didn't make a full H scene between Gaara and Pain, but I hope this was enough. Now, I'm gonna start my next story so look forward to something new :D See ya~!
