Chapter 1: Heart-broken
PERCY POV
I back away from the cabin door. Annabeth notices me and moves away from Jason, wide-eyed. Tears start flowing freely down my face. I can't believe she would do this to me! I refused GODHOOD for her! And she repays me by breaking my heart?! The tears sting my eyes. I ignore it, though. I sprint away from Cabin 9, from the Big House, from Camp Half-Blood. "Percy, wait! I can explain!" Annabeth yelled. "There is nothing to explain! You broke my heart! You cheated on me with Jason Grace!" I screeched back at her. I run past the Hunter's encampment causing multiple silver bows to be aimed at me. I keep on running, not caring. I feel an arrow pierce my thigh. I feel nothing, as the pain dealt to my heart is far greater. I call upon Mrs. O'Leary, and she appears almost instantly. I jump on her back, and tell her to shadow travel to the farthest place away from camp Half-Blood that I can think of. "Take me to San Francisco, girl." I say, sniffling as the world melted into shadows.

ZUES POV
It boggles my mind that the delinquent Perseus has still managed to evade 12 Olympian gods, including Artemis, who has never been unable to track down someone. "Artemis, have you managed to locate Perseus yet?" I asked. "No luck, father. It seems that his demigod scent has been masked, which is something only a god would be able to do." She replied. "Or, of course, a Titan." Apollo added in. "Yes, but what would cause my son, savior of Olympus, side with a Titan?" Poseidon asked. "Why, heartbreak, of course!" Aphrodite said. Before I could ask what she meant I felt an extremely powerful presence flash into the center of the room. Instantly I was up on my feet, Master Bolt in hand. "WHO ARE YOU?" I bellowed. The mysterious figure started laughing hysterically. "You don't even recognize you own nephew?" He said. "I will say it again, WHO ARE YOU?" I screamed. "Percy Jackson, at your service." The figure said, bowing.
