Frankie Foster chases Goofball McGee down the hall and pins him to the ground. Goofball squirms as she makes several grabs for his rubber clown nose, until finally she grabs it and pulls it off. "AHA! I knew it," Frankie exclaims triumphantly. "Undeniable proof that YOU are NOT an IMAGINARY FRIEND!"
The friends gasp as they stare at Goofball's human face. "He's been lying to all of us to freeload off of this house." Frankie notes.
"I KNEW it!" Bloo exclaims. The other friends stare at him incredulously.
"Whatever!" Goofball scoffs rudely as he slowly rises to his feet. "This lame place was borin' me anyways. See ya in the funny papers!" And with that, Goofball begins making his way toward the door.
"And just where do you think you're going?" Frankie says seriously just before he can leave. Goofball then whips around to see her traipsing up to him. "You still have several messes to clean up throughout the house."
"No way, Frannie," Goofball retaliates stubbornly. "Cleanin' up messes is your job, not mine!"
"Not anymore!" Frankie promptly hands him a mop and a bucket of water. "I recommend that you begin with the kitchen; it's almost time for dinner."
"Of all the lousy rotten deals..." Goofball grumbles disdainfully as he sets off to do his job.
As she watches Goofball leave, Frankie then traipses up to Bloo and clears her throat. "Ah-ahem." She then holds out the glass jar labeled, "Frankie is right, Bloo is wrong."
"Fine, fine." Bloo grouses as he takes a quarter out of his pocket and drops it into the jar. Frankie then hands Bloo a broom and a dustpan. "Goofball may need some help." Bloo scowls as he slowly traipses away.
After Bloo has left, Mr. Herriman and the other friends hurry up to Frankie with guilty looks on their faces. "Miss Frances, we all offer you our humblest apologies for how we have treated you."
"We never should have trusted Goofball." Wilt says dolefully.
"He had us all fooled." Eduardo says sadly.
"Coco." adds Coco.
"We truly do love and appreciate you very much, and promise never to take advantage of you like that again," Mr. Herriman continues. "Can you...ever forgive us?"
Frankie gives a small smile in reply. "Why, of course I can! I love you guys so much. Please don't blame yourselves for this. It's not your fault, Goofball was just very...persuasive."
The friends share contented smiles, grateful of Frankie's generosity. A large group of baby friends toddle up to Frankie and gently hug her around the knees. "We wuv you, Fwankie."
Moved by everyone's kindness, Frankie brushes a small tear from her eye. Though all had ended happily, Frankie can't help but feeling the tiniest bit sad that she had missed the Fake-Out concert. Suddenly, she hears a familiar voice calling, "Frankie!" upon which she turns to see Mac hurrying up to her. "Oh, Frankie, I'm so glad I found you! They were selling DVDs of the Fake-Out concert at the stadium, so I bought one for you." He then reaches into his backpack, takes out the DVD and hands it to her.
As she holds the DVD, Frankie feels her heart fill with happiness for the first time in a very long time. "Ohh, thank you, Mac!" She happily gives the little boy a big hug, causing him to smile and blush.
"Awww!" the friends coo as they watch this truly moving scene.
Moments later, Frankie is in the living room, happily watching the concert DVD. On the other side of the room, Bloo and Goofball are scrubbing the windows. Frankie pauses for a moment and turns to them, "You missed a spot."
"Whata revoltin' development." Goofball grumbles.
The end.
